Query value output should be positive

Hello ,
I am working on one finance query and requiremnt is that query out for that report must be positive value even it takes negative value.
Is there any way to get positive value?
Thanks

Kevin,
I would definitely reinstall Lookout -- whether it be 4.5 or 5.0.  Uninstall 4.5 first.  Also, the following KB may be of interest.

  • ABAP QUERY PROGRAM OUTPUT SHOULD DISPLAY FROM SAP SCRIPT.

    THIS IS MY URGENT REQUIREMENT ...
    I DONT KNOW ABAP QUERY PROGRAM ..
    PLEASE SUGGEST ME A WAY ON THIS ....
    Functional requirements
    Introduction
    The wish of the customer is a printable customer overview. All desired fields will be shown in a new query called ZZADDRSS_CO. Double entries are taken for granted because of the data taken from the sales area and because of multiple contact persons. The customer accepts this. It should be made possible that the user creates and saves its own variant.
    A second overview is needed, another ABAP will be developed for this requirement. This ABAP will show all the customer data and this list will have the possibility to be printed.
    Solution
    New Query ZZADDRESS_CO
    The desired fields of attachment 1 need to be shown in the query.
    The selection criteria are shown in attachment 2.
    The column names of the additional data have to changed in the query.
    Customer Overview.
    Functional specification.
    On behalf of this customer overview a standard SAP transaction will be used (transaction VC/2).This transaction will be extended.
    The fields are shown on screen with the described headers. Printing of the overview will be done via SAP script. The script makes use of a fixed layout of the data.
    The selection criteria are specified in attachment 2.
    The layout of the customer overview and the SAP Script are specified in attachment 3.
    Specification.
    The next steps need to be performed.
    1.     A routine per infoblock need to be created in Include RV77UNNN. In this routine the data is retrieved and written down to the screen and script,
    Example LST1_901 . In include RV77SNNN you can find the standard infoblocks.
    2.     Adapt via transaction SE16 table TFRM.
    3.     Create a new view in the customizing (sales and distribution- Sales support-sales summary-Assign Reporting Views).Assign the new view to the infoblocks.(Example view 001 is assigned to block 901).
    4.     In customizing it is not possible to assign the correct window and element to the infoblock .so this is done via SE16 in table T182A.
    5.     Adapt script. Copy script SD-SALES-SUMMARY to a Z-SALES_SUMM.
    Assign this new version to the new view in customizing. Create in the main window the element who writes the data on behalf of the print.

  • Chart Error - scroller positions should be positive and integer

    <p>
    Hello Expert
    I have created a flash chart with two filters on the chart region.
    i) &lsquo;Select list with submit' ----- (:P23_TRC)
    ii) &lsquo;Radio button with submit' -----(:P23_IMPACTC)
    The chart should display as per the filters selection.
    However, I get the error message "<strong>scroller positions should be positive and integer</strong>", once, whenever I load this chart page for the 1st time in a new IE window.
    After I change the filter's value it will work perfectly fine.
    In filters default value is one value from respective filter list of value
    </p>
    <p>
    If I remove the filter conditions from chart query, it works perfectly without error.

    Hi Rima,
    I found the solution,
    My graph is dependent on the page items. What I found was when I load the page, item default value was displayed but it was not stored in the memory. Item value only gets stored in memory when the page is submitted.
    Line: -----
    Soultion : - Create a page level before header process and define the default value over here as well. This will resolve your error.
    Hopefully you understood what I am trying to explain. If not let me know and I will trying to put in picture and email you.

  • "Column Width should be positive" error

    I have a flash chart that has a fairly simple query (whic works fine when run via SQLPLUS etc), that when I run via Apex I get "Column Width should be positive" errors. What does this mean, and how do I debug it?

    I realise that I have to have a chart query to generate the chart. The query (see below) runs perfectly fine in SQLPLUS, TOAD, SQL Developer etc, with no negative values returned.
    select null, to_char(targcompdate , 'RRRR-IW'), count(*)
    from work_tab
    where worktype = 'RO'
    and integ_priority in ('2','3','4')
    and comp_person = 'Structural'
    and targcompdate >= sysdate
    and status = 'APPR'
    group by to_char(targcompdate , 'RRRR-IW')
    order by to_char(targcompdate , 'RRRR-IW')

  • Spool file problem,Can't see the query in output file.

    Hello ,
    I am facing a very old school kind of problem .....about spool file ....
    The scenario -
    I have made a script by name DB_Status_checkup.sql which i want to fire on the database to check the database status. In this script their are many queries regarding the data dictionary views to know about the database. It consist of nearly 25-30 different select queries..
    The problem is i want to make a spool file of the output of that query....i want to see the SQL query & the output below in the spool file, so it will be easy for me to judge the result. But i can't see the SQL query , i can only see the output , & in so many queries it all gets jumbled up....even i can't understand where the next output starts ...
    Sample of my SQL Script ....
    clear buffer
    spool D:\DB_status.txt
    /*To check the database startup time*/
    Select to_char(startup_time, 'HH24:MI DD-MON-YY') "Startup time"
    from v$instance
    .........next query n so on....
    spool off;
    In the output pf the spool file at D:\db_status.txt..
    Startup time
    08:25 16-JUL-10It shows only the output of the query in the spool file not the query,
    What should i do to get the SQL query as well as the output of that query just below it in the spool file ???
    Please suggest if you have anymore ideas , regarding this .....
    ORACLE 10g R2
    Windows Server 2008
    Thanks in advance ...

    Why don't you just use database control, instead of re-inventing the wheel?
    Apart from that, SQL*Plus has it's own reference manual, which you apparently refuse to read.
    The answer to your quiz/doc question is
    set echo on

  • Negative  values in red and Positive values in black CONDITIONAL FORMATTING

    Hi ... Everyone
    I have to show Negative values in red and Positive values in black in one of my report.
    i tried these conditions
    1. <?if:GAIN<0.00?><?attribute@inlines:color;'red'?><?end if?>
    but it shows negative values only in red ,positive values in black are missing
    2. <?if:GAIN<0.00?><?attribute@incontext:color;'red'?><?end if?><?if:GAIN>0.00?><?attribute@incontext:color;'black'?><?end if?>
    This gives the exact result what i wanted ...but the problem is i have five tables in my report ... so the above condition only allow changes in ONE TABLE ONLY. :(
    Plzzzz anyone who can help me to sort out my problem or else SUGGEST ANOTHER WORKING CONDITION
    Regards

    Subham,
    This should not be difficult and moreover the BI Publisher Desktop installation comes with a set of examples:
    Start -> Programs -> BI Publisher Desktop -> Samples -> RTF Templates -> Advanced -> Conditional
    There you can find two templates with the exact same situation like yours, highlighting either the foreground color or background color.

  • Query in output of sh interface

    Hi all,
    I have a query in output of sh interface on ASA.
    On ASA's when we do 'show interface' for a gig interface, we can get any among two,
    input queue (blocks free curr/low): hardware (255/230)
    output queue (blocks free curr/low): hardware (255/0)
    OR
    input queue (curr/max packets): hardware (0/7)
    output queue (curr/max packets): hardware (0/13)
    cur/low I suppose when we have underruns and overruns going on.
    What i want to know is the meaning of the output. In case of curr/max its very clear.
    input queue (curr/max packets): hardware (0/7)
    output queue (curr/max packets): hardware (0/13)
    Above means (correct me if I am incorrect), there are Zero packets currently in input queue, and 7 were the max packets seen at one time. For output queue, zero are the current packets in ouput queue and 13 were max that were seen in output queue. This is documented.
    But I could not find an explaination for,
    input queue (blocks free curr/low): hardware (255/230)
    output queue (blocks free curr/low): hardware (255/0)
    How should I interpret it? I need supporting documentaion please.
    I have gone through this link :
    http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/security/asa/asa84/command/reference/s3.html#wp1497263
    But i couldn't find an explanation for blocks free current/low
    Please explain me the following output:
    2506116 packets input, 2624544574 bytes, 0 no buffer
           Received 0  broadcasts, 0 runts, 0 giants
           8036 input errors, 0 CRC, 0 frame, 8036  overrun, 0 ignored, 0 abort
           0 L2 decode drops
           5065834  packets output, 6024814558 bytes, 0 underruns
           0 pause output, 0 resume  output
           0 output errors, 0 collisions, 0 interface resets
           0  late collisions, 0 deferred
           0 input reset drops, 0 output reset drops,  0 tx hangs
           input queue (blocks free curr/low): hardware  (255/230)
           output queue (blocks free curr/low): hardware (254/0)

    i am mainly concerned about
      input queue (blocks free curr/low): hardware  (255/230)
           output queue (blocks free curr/low): hardware (254/0)

  • How to set Query value in WAD w. parameters

    Hi
    Is it possible to set the queryname in the dataprovider using javascript.
    My scenario is that I want to fetch the queryname from the URL with the following javascript
    I have the script:
    function GetPara( name )
         name = name.replace(/[\[]/,"
    \[").replace(/[\]]/,"
         var regexS = "[
    ?&]"name"=([^&#]*)";
         var regex = new RegExp( regexS );
         var results = regex.exec( window.location.href );
         if( results == null )
              return "";
         else
              return results[1];
    And then I want to implement something like the following in the template
    //First dataprovider (TAB_A_DP) initialization
    <bi:QUERY_VIEW_DATA_PROVIDER name="TAB_A_DP" >
                    <bi:INITIAL_STATE type="CHOICE" value="QUERY" >
                        <bi:QUERY value="SCRIPT_FUNCTION">
                               <bi:SCRIPT_FUNCTION value="GetPara('TAB1')" />
                        </bi:QUERY>
                    </bi:INITIAL_STATE>
                </bi:QUERY_VIEW_DATA_PROVIDER>
    //SEcond dataprovider (TAB_B_DP) initialization
    <bi:QUERY_VIEW_DATA_PROVIDER name="TAB_B_DP" >
                    <bi:INITIAL_STATE type="CHOICE" value="QUERY" >

                        </bi:QUERY>
                    </bi:INITIAL_STATE>
                </bi:QUERY_VIEW_DATA_PROVIDER>

    Hi Leo
    Sorry I haven't explained my goal very well.
    I want to create a dynamic webtemplate w. two tabs. One tab showing data from one dataprovider and the other tab showing data from another dataprovider.
    My problem is that it's easy enough to set the dataprovider to a specific query but as I have several reports which should use this template then instead of coping the template and change the query name I want a generic way to set the queryname  (e.g. in the url) so I only have one template and not a template per report pair.
    In short I want to set the Initial State dynamic.
                                <bi:QUERY_VIEW_DATA_PROVIDER name="TAB_A_DP" >
                                    <bi:INITIAL_STATE type="CHOICE" value="QUERY" >
                                        <bi:QUERY value="dynamic" text="dynamic" />
                                    </bi:INITIAL_STATE>
                                </bi:QUERY_VIEW_DATA_PROVIDER>
    When I only have one dp I can leave it empty and set the query by typing ?query=<queryname> but what if I have several dataproviders with different queries?

  • How oracle seeded paper layout output should convert in excel?

    Hi,
    The seeded Oracle Report All Inventory Values Report output is in paper layot. Could anyone tell how this report output should be taken in excel?
    Is it possible to convert paper layout output to excel? If so then pls tell the steps how to do that...
    Thanks

    Actually we are using oracle DDE (Dynamic Data Exchange) package to convert our reports in EXCEL.
    Like..
    In After Parameter Form we are opening one excel sheet in local drive and then sending some header data through
    that trigger.
    Fuction we are using are
    DDE.APP_BEGIN -- For Opening excel sheet
    DDE.INITIATE -- For initializing that sheet in variable
    DDE.POKE -- For sending data in excel
    From this AFTER PARAMETER trigger of report you have to keep the last row inserted in excel.
    Then in reports repeating frame you will use only
    DDE.POKE package for sending data in excel by increasing the row + (the last number returned by AFTER PARAMETER)
    Try like this..

  • While executing the query the output is completey different from the query

    Dear friends,
    We built a query and loaded the data for that infoprovider.
    While executing the query the output is completey different from the query what we have built.
    Output has no relevance to the query.
    Kindly help the same.
    Regards,
    Sathya

    HI Satya,
    In my opinion the issue is with your front end.
    Results should be identical in RSRT, BEx Analyzer (Workbooks) and the ABAP-Web since all three frontend tools use the "ABAP Runtime layer".
    It may differ In the Portal where the new "Java Runtime layer". (Java-Web.) is used.
    This is given in OSS Note 1296576 - Different Query Behaviour: ABAP - Java.
    So i think the problem lies in your analyser. If you are using Analyzer: BI Add on 7.X (Based on 7.10) try and get support package 8.
    Hope this helps.
    Thanks,
    Rahul

    Hi,
    Displaying report output in email body is not available as a standard feature. Also doing a custom development would be very cumbersome .

  • How can I get HyperTrend to display the numeric value output of a CHOOSE statement?

    I have non-linear values I need to display on a HyperTrend graph.  I'm currently converting the input raw signal to a Units (Engineering) value and then looking up the actual value (from a calibration chart) using a CHOOSE statement in order to display the actual value on a panel, but I need to display the values output by the CHOOSE statement on a HyperTrend graph, along with other similar values.
    How can I do this?

  • Order Output should be supressed when all items are rejected

    We have a requirement, where when all schedule lines in a sales order are rejected the order confirmation output should be suppressed.
    This is what we did to achieve it.
    Using the customer modification structure KOMKBZ3, add a new field ZZ_ALL_SL_REJ . This field is an indicator that will be set if all all items in a sales order are rejected.
    Call function KOMKBV1_FILL to populate the communication structure KOMKBV1. The function calls USEREXIT_KOMKBV1_FILL, which is the header level user exit routine.
    In this user exit, through a select statement read table J_3AVBUE, and check for all schedule lines if 'ABSTA' equals C, if this is true the ZZ_ALL_SL_REJ  indicator is set to ‘X’.
    Then in the output requirement routine 900, see if KOMKBV1-ZZ_ALL_SL_REJ is set to 'X', if so set the return code to be 4.
    However when we reject items in sales order and save it, we have to go back in again and save it for the second time for the output determination to be carried out again.
    Could someone help with this...
    Thanks.
    Anne

    I believe an easier method would be to check KOMKBV1-ABSTK in the output requirement. If it's 'C', then all items have been rejected.
    Cheers, Paul.

  • How to use FMS on OPCH field to query value on a field in PHC1 form?

    Hi All,
    I have a problem. I created a user defined field in the AP Invoice form (parent form-OPCH). Now I would like to use the formatted search to add a query to that field that will select a value from another field also on the same form but at the row level (child form-PCH1). It seems that this is not possible. Any suggestions?
    A general question for this: is their any way that I could use the formatted search to query value on an opening form that is inactive?
    Thanks
    Duc

    Hi Sampath Kumar devunuri,
    Thanks for your reply. It does not work. I have tried to searched through the forum about this topic and it seems that FMS will not work at row level. Not sure if there is any solution to overcome this.
    My query is for example: I want my UDF on OPCH form to capture the description of the first row in PCH1:
    Select $[$39.1.1]
    If I assign it to a UDF at row level it works perfectly.
    If I assign it to the Remark field on OPCH it still works.
    But if I assign it to a UDF at title level it does not (this is what I need)
    This may be because at title level the form name is OPCH which is different with the form name at row level: PCH1
    I cannot think if there is any way that I could set focus on PCH1 to get the value.
