Question about Creative Earbuds

I just bought a pair of CREATIVE LABS EP-640's for my new zen. I had been using the Sony MDR-EX75's and wow, what a nice difference. My question though is are EP-630's really the Sennheiser CX300 and the EP-640's really the Sennheiser CX400? Pricing is amazingly the same...

fr0ggyguy,
The Zen V player does not has any memory expansion slot for you to add in extra memory card.
As for the size of Audible content, I will leave it to others to advise you as I'm not a Audible user.

    4) if not would i be able to burn my songs from itunes and use the c.d. to put them on my creative?
    thank you so much i'v looked all over the internet and i could't hide any answers.

    . There are MANY transmitters out there. I recommend searching back for past threads with recommendations.
    2. Yes, if they are in a suitable format.
    3. I already gave you a link in a previous question to a thread all about this. Please don't post duplicate questions.
    4. With iTunes you either need to burn the tracks to a CDRW, then convert to MP3/WMA, or use a program like JHymn to convert (Google JHymn).

  • Management needs to address this question about Creative Cloud subscriptions

    Hopefully there is a satisfactory solution for this question.  Then and only then will I feel comfortable giving Creative Cloud a try.  I own Production Premium CS5.5 and Design Premium CS6. In addition I have stand alones of Photoshop CS5.1, Premiere Pro CS6, Acrobat Pro 9, Lightroom 4 (2 copies) and probably another package I'm not thinking about right now.  If I convert to Creative Cloud and two years from now when CS7 or possible CS8 is the current version and I decide end my subscription to Creative Cloud reverting back to the disk version ownership, I will be required to pay additional money because I didn't keep my disk ownership current.  I used to upgrade my Production Premium Suite every other version.  I owned CS4 in that suite and when CS5.5 was released, I was required to pay an additional $250 (if memory is correct) because I hadn't upgraded to Version CS5.  I think that subscribing to Creative Cloud should not open me up to my license being devalued because I chose the subscription (at essentially the same price for what I use) over buying the disk.  Adobe, will you comment on this situation and add it to management discussions to assure faithful customers we won't have our current licenses put into jeopardy?

    I like the idea of Creative Cloud but subscribing to it for a mandatory 1-year is binding.
    Thare are two joining options: monthly (higher monthly fee) or 12 month contract, billed monthly(lower monthly fee)
    akrafter wrote:
    And after the one year, do you go on a month-to-month or do you have to sign on for another year?  I'm sure that's in the fine print someplace but I haven't noticed it.
    Auto-renewed unless you cancel.
    http://www.adobe.com/au/products/creativecloud/faq.html
    At the end of my annual membership, what do I need to do to renew it?
    If you would like to renew your annual membership for another year, you do not need to do anything. Your account is set to auto-renew so that you will not experience any interruption in access to your Creative Cloud products and services.
    How do I cancel my one-year membership?
    To cancel a one-year membership, you can either go online to the Account page on www.creativecloud.com or contact Adobe Customer Service. If you cancel your membership before meeting the 12-month commitment date, you will be charged 50% of the remaining amount left on your contract.

    I hope a lot more people ask the question and do as I'm doing, not buy into Creative Cloud until a satisfactory solution is arrived at.  I like the looks of the CC package and I think it has value but not at the loss of value for my Creative Suite.
    Not sure you'll get a definitive answer to that before CS7 arrives.
    And you'll need a CS6 perpetual license in order to upgrade to CS7.
    So I suspect a CS6 purchasing/upgrading decision (Cloud or traditional upgrade) will have to be made based on the info currently available.

  • Question about Creative Cloud Support

    I believe I still have about 20 days left of the original support that came with my subscription to Creative Cloud. How do I use that support? I don't think I've talked to support other than in the product help questions yet. I also need to find out what type of support I should buy after that runs out. I'm a designer who has started building websites with Muse. I am also trying to understand Business Catalyst hosting. "Thank you", in advance!

    certifies the Domain, or is that for GoDaddy to do?
    Not clear on what you mean by certify the domain? If you mean purchase and register a domain, then yes, you can do it with GoDaddy
        - can direct me to the web Business Registration site. Is there a cost for web B.Registration?
    Again, not sure what web business registration you are referring to?
    - can generate or provide a SSL certified domain certificate for use on my client's web-site?
    Yes, all BC sites use a shared certificate under the worldsecuresystems.com domain.
    - provides SEO, and what exactly does that include?
    Business Catalyst has all of the SEO features such as Meta tags, SEO friendly URLS, etc.
        - has custom targeted lists available for different industries & businesses in your e-mail marketing program?
    Absolutely. BC has a great email marketing setup. It does what you mention and more ....
    - has a way to e-mail the support department directly? Or communicate in a way other than chat? I am new to web-stuff. I've been a Marketing/Advertising/Print designer/production guy for 30 years.
          (I remember squeeky marker & chalk layouts, and keylining!)
    There is an additional support forum for paid partners as well as faster track to Live Chat and second level support.
    - can tell me how to become a partner. I don't want to pay a thousand dollars. But I have at present, 4 sites I will be doing. I would guess I'd be an "individual" or "developer".
    You can become a Free partner. It doesn't have all the extra support features and many of the perks though. Any paid partner such as myself can send you a promo code for a small 5% discount on a paid partnership as well.
    If you have already created a BC site, you are already a Free Partner. Go to anyone of your BC sites you created and add /partnerportal to the address. Example; mysite.businesscatalyst.com/partnerportal
    Login with your ID that you used when creating the sites. You can access all of your sites from that one location.
    Hope that helps!

    I'm very confused by those. The jack clearly only has 3 inputs, meaning, left, right, center, and look to only be headphones, not a headset.

    Hi when i bought my ZEN MICRO i got creative white headphones like everyone.. but something happend to them, a probelm with the bass one side has uge vibration, noises, less volume, less bass..

    I see but, my store from where i boughted my Zen M sayd that the headphones dosent have guarantee..
    what should i do? because they are really new.. only month too and now they cant work anymore..
    I will tell you one thing,never shop that store again,that's the biggest load I have ever heard.One component of a product not covered ?.. I would write a letter to the corparation and tell them what kind of treatment you had and tell them you won't be shopping there anymore since they do not honor defecti've returns.
    In the U.S. most states have laws governing consumer rights that are somewhat along the lines of the law in my state,California.
    <EM>In California, unless an item is sold "as is," all new merchandise (except clothing and consumable products) that is purchased primarily for personal, family, or household use has a warranty implied by law.</EM>
    <EM>This implied warranty states that the merchandise must be fit for ordinary purposes. It exists for at least 60 days, or for as long as any written warranty accompanying the item (up to one year).</EM>

  • Questions about Creative Zen MP3 Players.....which one to b

    I had a Rio Carbon 6GB and I really love it (until it died on me), and I heard that Creative Zen 8GB, Creative Zen Micro 8 GB, Creative Zen V Plus?8GB are good choices to buy? I have readed all reviews from PC World, CNET, MSN, and all three sound good, but what are main differences between them that I need take in to consideration before I buy? I also I have read that you can replace the battery in all of them....is this true? What is the battery life before it needs to be replaced and how much? Thanks

    If you listen to a lot of audiobooks, then I personally recommend the Zen V Plus 2, 4 or 8 GB. It doesn't have a user replaceable battery.
    The battery is is built into the player. The audiobooks and albums seem much easier to find and use than on the Zen Micro. You can find these players on the Creative Savings Center refurbished for about half the price of a new player. (The Zen Micro, you can find on eBay used The refurbished Zen V Plus Players I have received when ordering, have been brand new and work just fine. They have a 90 day parts/labor warranty. I consider the 2GB Zen V Plus to be a throw-away(when or if it breaks after the warranty) at $35.99 plus shipping.

  • Technical question about Creative MediaSource 3.30.21‏

    Hello:
    I use Creative MediaSource software to manage my Creative MP3 player. When I hook up the MP3 player using the USB cable, I can play songs in the "player" within the MediaSource organizer. How do I set it so that the songs (which reside on the MP3 player) will play on my computer speakers (not through the MP3 player)?
    Im summary, when I play a song that li'ves on my computer, it plays through the computer speakers, but songs that li've on the MP3 player play on the MP3 (even though I'm controlling them via the MediaSource software). How do I play all of these songs on my computer speakers?
    Thanks in advance for any help!
    [email protected]

    R.U. lazy? Why can't you try it by yourself.
    Well, I tried it. But it pops out a message saying my system doesn't have the proper components (some such thing -- I'll try to get the exact message next time)...
    I have an SB Audigy card properly installed with the latest drivers (and functioning without problems).
    As for nvidiot's suggestion to run the setup.exe program. I believe I also tried that method and it showed up the same error message (sorry, will jot down the message next time).
    However, I'm interested in this "ctcomp" utility you mentioned that can patch the setup files. How is the ctcomp used? (I recall having an experience with a pre-patched Audigy2 drivers quite some time back. It already had a prepatched ctcomp.dat or some similar thing which allowed the Audigy2 sound driver to install on Audigy sound card.)
    So I surmise this method might work (assuming the Creative MediaSource relies on the same identification mechanism).
    ~~~~~~~~
    (edited/added)
    Ok, I've finally gotten this thing to install. I probably wasn't running the correct setup.exe program as mentioned above. I went to the SETUP\SETUP directory and run the SETUP.EXE there. The CMS program started to install and after a few minutes of hard disk activity, the setup program told me to restart the system, after which the Creative MediaSource program is installed. (no need for the ctcomp thing)
    Thanks to all that helped me here.Message Edited by dta on 0-08-2006 03:3 AM
  • Quick question about Creative DVD audio pla
    Hi all,
    I loaded all the drivers and software that came with my Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS. The kit came with a DVD audio sampler disc. When I put the DVD audio disc into my computer DVD ROM dri've, it automatically navigates to the Creative Audio DVD player. The only problem is that the "play" button is greyed out. It will not play the disc. It show in the staus window that the sampler disc is there and ready to go. I have tried every button but can not get to play.
    Any ideas what I am doing wrong?
    Thanks,
    Now when I launch the DVD audio player and try to click on a button it just freezes up and have to end the program in task manager
  • Questions about Creative Cloud
    Hi
    I bought Lightroom 5 from a retail store maybe a year or so ago and I have had that set up on my computer and it serves me great and I love it. However it has come to my attention that I need photoshop as well.
    I'm a bit confused by the set up of creative cloud. I am able to use my desktop app for Lightroom without needing to pay annually or monthly, but if I pay for creative cloud monthly or annually, once that term is up will it stop me from accessing the desktop app?
    Is there a way I can pay for Photoshop outright, with out needing to subscribe to monthly or yearly terms
    Thanks
    The current Photoshop is by subscription, so when you stop paying the program stops working
    If a 3+ year old version works for you, go to Creative Suite 6 for a one time payment
  • Question About Creative Cloud in a Family Setting
    My wife and I both use Adobe products. I'm more of a casual user of programs like Illustrator and Flash, whereas whe's an artist and uses mostly Photoshop like a fiend. Honestly, she's got PS open 8 hours a day, actively.
    If I subscribe to Cloud, can we use the same account? Can I use, say, Illustrator while she's using Photoshop?
    Or am I going to have to buy 2 subscriptions?
    Thank you!
    Per http://www.adobe.com/products/creativecloud/faq.html:
    On how many computers may I install the software I download from Creative Cloud?
    You can install the desktop applications available in Creative Cloud on your primary computer and one backup computer, as long as they are not running at the same time. You will have access to both the Mac OS and Windows versions, so if you have a Mac at home and a PC at work, for instance, you can install your applications on both. See the product license agreements page for more information.
