Question for GATP business event 03

Dear GATP Experts,
When doing good issue for production orders, some error message occur as follows;
"Location product XXX check instruction 030 / 03 does not exist"
What is the standard business event 03 for ?
Why this happens even though we only perform ATP check forsales orders and delivery orders ?
Any input will be highly appreciated.

It is not clear to me why the GI process is triggering ATP of production order.
ATP is typically triggered manually or through job. It can also be triggered automatically During Creation or Release of a production order. These configuration, as well as the manual and batch ATP, are done in R/3.
If the material in question (any component of the production order) exists in an ATP integration model, and an ATP is triggered for the Production order in R/3, then the ATP check will be executed not in R/3 but in APO. If you have not set up the combination you mentioned below (030/03) in APO, then you will get the message you mentioned.
Review the config in R/3 OPJK to determine if 'release' is causing your message. To prevent the ATP from being executed in APO, remove all production order component materials from any ATP integration models. FYI ATP integration model crosses functional boundaries, you don't just have an ATP for SD processes, you have an ATP for the material/plant, which includes PP generated ATPs as well.

How to change both start and end dates for an business event (or any object

Hi all.
We are in the case to change the validity dates for several business events in training management.
The special point is that both, start and end date, have to be changed.
In example, business event 00000001 is valid from 2010.01.01 to 2010.01.31 and shoud be "moved" from 2010.05.01 to 2010.05.31.
So if i run RHBEGDA0 report to change start date first, it doesn't work propperly because new start date is bigger than old enddate.
Next thing we thought is to change end date first, using RHGRENZ1, and then change the start date, with the report RHBEGDA0. Problem with this solution is that a business event duration shoud be calculated taking care of free days (weekends and day ofs).
Is there any better solution for this?

You can write an LSMW for this t-code if the number of business events to be maintained is huge.

Price Proposal for a business event

I have tried PSV1 and PSV2.But there is no such options for giving attendance for a particular business event.Should I go ahead and create a subtype for attendance infotype and store the results manually?

cl_crm_uiu_bt_partner is the genric class created only for Business Partner scenario. The code that is written will work for Business Partner only. For all generic Save we do Set_property and the rest istaken care by teh underlying BOL/GENIL Layers.

Aggregating Applications Question for my Business...

Hello, I am new to the iPhone application world, so any help/information that you can offer is greatly appreciated. I am looking to take several of the top applications in a category and combine them by creating one launcher app. My questions are as follows:
1. Is it possible to combine the compiled binary files for each app, and create a launcher app that installs all of the separate programs. This assumes that the developers of each app are willing to sell/license me their binary files. Or, do I need to get the source code to make my launcher application?
2. Will Apple approve of my launcher application?

No. Developers are not going to do that, and apple is not going to approve such an application.
You can however use the new feature of folders in iOS 4 to place multiple app icons(up to 12) into one placeholder on the homescreen in order to organize certain apps more efficiently.

Core functionality questions for a business user thinking of recommending

Currently using WebEx, but they've let me down quite badly recently. I know the Connect solution is good because I've attended meetings before. However, I'm in a trial now and find it pretty cumbersome to set up, certainly compared to Webex.
Could I have some assistance with a couple of key points;
Inviting Participants
It appears that the only way to schedule a meeting and invite attendees is if they exist within my Community, so adding a user for a one-off meeting presumably requires me to also send an email out manually?
This seems a bit rough since in Webex you can just add any number of attendees you want whether they are internal or external, can Adobe Connect really not do this while configuring the meeting?
So I thought maybe it wouldn't be so bad if I can at least password protect the meeting so there's no chance of a crossed wire, but in the trial there doesn't appear to be an option to add password protection to the meeting and test this function?
Could I have some input on these points and a suggestion of the smoothest method to invite a large number of attendees who are external to my company?

Connect meetings are persistant. You create the room once and can use it as many times as needed. So, even one-off meetings can be held in an existing room or you can create a new one for that meeting. People can join a meeting as a guest, no setup in Connect needed, or as a registered user, with a username and password for your Connect account. You should only need to send the URL for your room to the attendee(s).

This isn't a room configuration setting. Think of the room as you creating a virtual version of a conference room. It is always there. Access to the room is controlled by you setting the access level or using the in room features to control if others are allowed in your room.

There is the option to have the ability to have a password on a meeting room, but it will be required in addition to the individuals giving a guest name or using a username and password. The way to enable room passcodes is to go to Admininstration > Users and Groups > Edit Login and Password Policies. Toward the bottom of that page will be an option called Enable Meeting Hosts to enforce passcode for room access. Check that box and then click Save at the bottom of the page. You will then see the option to have a passcode of your choosing enabled below the Permissions section of the Edit Meeting page.
          4. Could I have some input on these points and a suggestion of the smoothest method to invite a large number of attendees who are external to my company?
I would just send a meeting invite or email with the link to your room. That should be all that is needed. Connect rooms are not unlimited in their capacity, most people have the ability to have upto 100 people in the room, but I recall that trial accounts have lesser capacity.

Adobe doesn't provide teleconferencing service. You should be able to use just about any provider you want with the Universal Voice option, or you can reach out to MeetingOne, Intercall, Arkadin or PGi for a fully integrated phone bridge. Here is a the walkthrough in setting up a Universal Voice bridge, Setting Up Universal Voice - Adobe Connect User Community, fully integrated providers should just need your account credentials. Then the phone bridges can be associated with your room.

Attendee is not available for business event

Dear all,
After business event sceduled i booked 9 attendees and i try to book one more attendee i am getting errorr message Attendee is not available for business event.
1. Attendee maintained in HR master data.
2. Org management is also maintained properly
3. Minimum capacity in business event is 15 maintained.

Unable to book attendee for a future business event.

Dear Community,
In the training and event management module, i am unable to book attendee for a future business event. ( Using T-code PSV1).
I prebook the attendee for the business event type. And when try booking the attendee, it says ' Attendee cannot be booked.
Attendee is not available for the business event type.'
Any guidance would be helpful.

As mentioned earlier, please check the work schedule of the attendee. The employee might be on leave or is actually not working on this day. I am assuming Time integration is activated here. Check for the Business event type too. There if select checkbox NO INTEGRATION, then you should not find this error.
Try tweaking the days off settings in the same tab in the business event type.

the test is not that easy, I found that I really had to read the questions carefully & the multiple-choice answers even more carefully. Some of the answers initially looked as if they were saying the same thing & I needed to look twice to discern the tiny difference. It's these tiny differences that made it difficult, in my opinion.
Generally, I thought it touched on most aspects of 2007, with particular emphasis on the enhancements from lower versions. But if you have a good understanding of the product, look at all the e-learning & also, very important, at the available ETS & documentation, you should do well.I found the e-learning a bit limited & definitely benefited from the other materials available on the SMP.

Any business event is available in OM post creation of order

Once the order is booked, i would like to sync up this order into the 3rd party System. I was looking for the business events provided by oracle.
Show/Change Sales Order - A business event (oracle.apps.ont.oi.show_so.create) can be raised to trigger generation of a SHOW SO or CHANGE SO XML message. The value of one of the event parameters determines which of the two messages will be generated. The SHOW SO message contains status information about an order and can be generated on demand or as a result of changes to an existing sales order. The CHANGE SO message is used to notify the buyer of changes to a sales order and can be raised as a result of status or attribute changes on a sales order.
Can we use the above business event for my case. Please suggest.

You cannot use that as that event is specifically raised when you have used order import (OI) for the XML integration. If you are entering the order from the front end then you have two options:
1. Have a node in header level workflow that raises the integration message the way you want it.
2. Or use ASO order feedback concept. I like this one as this gives you what ever even you need to send to the third party systems. It has information about entire order (all tables information). I have some information in this link , but you can find lot more in documentation and support site.

HCM Business Events Attendees

Hello experts,
I have to create a program to obtain all the attendees of a Business Event in SAP HCM, now I am familiar with PNP Logical Database but not with PCH Logical Database, and as my approach should be from the Business Types and Events(Objects Types and ID's) I need to include PCH to my Report in the Attributes, now can any one help if I have an Object ID how can I obtain the pernr's of all the attendees after the statement "Get Objec."?, any sample code would be great, thanks in advance for your your answers.

It's very similar to how you use PNP. Here you need to declare the infotypes 1001. So after GET OBJECT, the P1001 internal table would be filled with all the relationship for the Business event available in HRP1001. If you have entered the business event, make sure you put the relevant filters to get the employees based on the relationships (Pre-booked, Attended, Cancelled etc.).
You could also use many std. reports available in information system for this purpose like tcode S_PH9_46000434 and many more.
