Any business event  is available in  OM   post creation of order

Hi Every one,
Once the order is booked, i would like to sync up this order into the 3rd party System. I was looking for the business events provided by oracle.
Show/Change Sales Order - A business event (oracle.apps.ont.oi.show_so.create) can be raised to trigger generation of a SHOW SO or CHANGE SO XML message. The value of one of the event parameters determines which of the two messages will be generated. The SHOW SO message contains status information about an order and can be generated on demand or as a result of changes to an existing sales order. The CHANGE SO message is used to notify the buyer of changes to a sales order and can be raised as a result of status or attribute changes on a sales order.
Can we use the above business event for my case. Please suggest.

You cannot use that as that event is specifically raised when you have used order import (OI) for the XML integration. If you are entering the order from the front end then you have two options:
1. Have a node in header level workflow that raises the integration message the way you want it.
2. Or use ASO order feedback concept. I like this one as this gives you what ever even you need to send to the third party systems. It has information about entire order (all tables information). I have some information in this link , but you can find lot more in documentation and support site.

  • Oracle Apps adapter not displaying any Business Events

    We have configured a Business Event in Oracle ebs R12 instance. Now we are trying to configure Oracle Apps Adapter in Oracle Jdeveloper. The version is 11.1.1.3.
    The apps adapter wizard; after connecting to the ebs instance; does not display any tables/Business events.
    The connection to the ebs instance is done by a normal user i.e. 'apps' user credentials are not used. We are not provided with 'apps' user credentials due to security reasons. We need help in figuring out the privileges that shld be granted to the 'normal' user so that we can browse and select the Business event in Jdeveloper and also the apps adapter can create the subscriptions and queues successfully in ebs.
    Any pointers will be greatly appreciated...

    I am new to this topic and dont really know how to go about this. So can i assume from your post that the oracle apps adapter can subscribe to an event in EBS. If yes, can you tell me how i can do this?

  • APPS Adapter / Business Events not visible when BPEL uses non-apps user

    We have BPEL connection using custom oracle user, xx_b2b and when we use APPS adapter in BPEL, I can not see and use any business event.
    If anybody across same requirement, please share your experience.

    I have setup the SAP self service of KPI measurement. I have many productive solutions in my solman and BPMon is setup in many of the processes.
    But in the "Availability" KPI i am not able to get any business process for availability measurement.
    How can i get the business process in the "Availability KPI"?

    Rak,
    I don't think there is one (even in R12). But depending on where you are coming from (Spares Management or Pure Engineering perspective), you may find something in those applications. Even clean item master import where you are creating Item relationships as part of the item import, you can use item create business event (checking the rows existance in the interface tables and base tables) and use that event.
    Also I am aware as part of the AIA effort to integrate the Agile PLM and EBS Item master, there are quite a few planned and I am sure this could be one of those. I saw a open world presentation where this is was one of those "Should Have" and not "Must Have" features.

  • How to change both start and end dates for an business event (or any object

    Hi all.
    We are in the case to change the validity dates for several business events in training management.
    The special point is that both, start and end date, have to be changed.
    In example, business event 00000001 is valid from 2010.01.01 to 2010.01.31 and shoud be "moved" from 2010.05.01 to 2010.05.31.
    So if i run RHBEGDA0 report to change start date first, it doesn't work propperly because new start date is bigger than old enddate.
    Next thing we thought is to change end date first, using RHGRENZ1, and then change the start date, with the report RHBEGDA0. Problem with this solution is that a business event duration shoud be calculated taking care of free days (weekends and day ofs).
    Is there any better solution for this?

    You can write an LSMW for this t-code if the number of business events to be maintained is huge.

  • TEM - Cost Transfer Posting to CO(Business Event Cost)

    Dear All,
    Kindly suggest solution for the following issue
    I have maintained all the cost items with cost elements
    I have booked an empolyee for a business event with resources
    I have maintained receivers cost center in  SEMIN SCOST (T77S0)
    I have created the senders cost center while maintaining the Business Event type
    Event is also Firmly booked
    When i try to  post the cost  by PV1C - Cost Transfer Posting , the posting is neither complete nor giving error
    when i  click  Create cost transfer in Tcode PV1C i am getting this message"S BK 186 Document has no errors."
    But really the document is not created in CO.
    While transferring it is not giving the option of the traffic lights(Red,green and Amber).

    After business event sceduled i booked 9 attendees and i try to book one more attendee i am getting errorr message Attendee is not available for business event.
    1. Attendee maintained in HR master data.
    2. Org management is also maintained properly
    3. Minimum capacity in business event is 15 maintained.

    BTEs are like user exits. SAP calls the custom function modules assigned to the event in Tx:FIBF from application programs.
    For example Payment program RFFOUS_T calls the Z function module assigned to 2040 in FIBF using fm OPEN_FI_PERFORM_00002040_P.

  • Follow up Business Event by specific qualification date.

    Hi Expert,
    In the follow up business event, I want to transfer qualification to attendee with the start and end date of business event. For example, the business event date is held on 07.05.2007 – 11.05.2007 and the qualification will be given to all attendees by t-code: PV15. By standard the start and end date of given qualification is 11.05.2007 – 31.12.9999. My intention is to give the date as 07.05.2007 – 11.05.2007 instead. Is there any solution?
    Here is the background of the question. We migrated the training history record from legacy system in to SAP and stored it as qualification, and start and end date of qualification are the duration of (start/end date) of training course.

    Sorry my English is not well. I'll tried.
    Our training process like this. When any employee who has attended the training course, he/she will be given the qualification according to the particular course. The qualification should be dated the same as the duration of training course. For example, the Techinical English course is held on 07.05.2007 - 11.05.2007. When the courese is finished, the user will do the follow-up activities by using T-code PV15. By default, the start date of given qualification is 11.05.2007 and end date is 31.12.9999.  But our intention is to give the start date of assigned qualification as 07.05.2007 - 11.05.2007.
    There is any user exit available to do that?

  • Training & Event Management: Restrict Change to Business Event

    Hi,
    Does anyone know if there is a way to restrict change to Business Event (eg. changes to the Event Schedule) based on certain business criteria? My criteria cannot restrict by authorization.
    For eg. let say if something happens (based on business scenario), then my program will restrict the users to change details in Business Event, but they can still book Personnels to the event- so that means I can't use the LOCK/UNLOCK function.

    Oh! Sorry I did not noticed your initial post date, any how at least we can share knowledge.
    Regarding your concern about the FM, we have created function module ZHR_TRAINING_AUTH and table ZHR_TRAINING_AUTH to restrict authorization related to respective department secretaries and business event group.
    Then in Customization to create and configure the profile: go to Human Resources > Personal Management > Personal Development > Settings > Current Settings > Define Authorization Profile
    Then later on you can “Assign” this newly created profile to the users, then you are able to restrict.

    I would like to know if there is any BAPI/ FM available to create a Business Event Under particular Busness Group and Type.

    1. When we create Business Event in PV10, Where all the data is stored? is there any master table which holds the all values in that screen? or values are stored in separate tables? if they are in separate tables, may i now what are them and the associated infotypes also.
