Quick time is not working in safari after downloading flip4mac. How do I get quick time to work within safari? It was working prior to flip4mac being installed but I need flip4mac for some websites.

Go to System Preferences>Flip4Mac>Browser
Make sure the first two boxes are checked. Check the 3rd box if you want the QT controller to be displayed.
Restart Safari

Made video's on my iphone and loaded them to my imac. Video did not work in iphoto. No Quick time pop up. what happened? Snow leopard install.
You need to re-install iPhoto because it's missing bits of itself:
Library not loaded...
Reason: no suitable image found.
Looking at the missing files it's possible that it's missing from the OS. But start with re-installing iPhoto, and if that fails you'll ned to re-install the OS.
To re-install iPhoto
1. Put the iPhoto.app in the trash (Drag it from your Applications Folder to the trash)
2. Go to HD/Library/Receipts and remove any pkg file there with iPhoto in the name
3. Re-install.
If you purchased an iLife Disk, then iPhoto is on it.
If iPhoto was installed on your Mac when you go it then it’s on the System Restore disks that came with your Mac. Insert the first one and opt to ‘Install Bundled Applications Only...’

Tabs won't work in Safari after downloading Mavericks
Need some help please.... I downloaded Mavericks a few days ago --and have had several different glitches happen in Safari. Most of them I 'fixed'---but now the tabs will not work at all (even though they are set up to work). What is going on???
What exactly happens, and how is it different from what you expect?

After I downloaded iOS 7.0.3 Data plan is not working in my iPhone5; I tried resetting network; powered down and powered on; switched off LTE, airplane mode on and off; Cellular Services on and off, nothing seems to work. Should I try Total Reset? (of course after backing up in iTunes)?

Ensure that your software is up to date:
Check for a Carrier Settings Update. Tap Settings > General > About.
Check for an iOS Software Update. Tap Settings > General > Software Update.
Note: Some updates may require a Wi-Fi connection.
Remove the SIM Card and reinsert it. Allow the iPhone to acquire the network again.
If your SIM card has SIM PIN enabled, try toggling it off: Tap Settings > Phone > SIM PIN.
Try another location. If a different location works, but the original location still does not, contact your carrierto report the issue.
Reset network settings: Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Restore the iPhone as new.

Javascript countdown timer not working in Safari
Years ago I copied a Javascript for a countdown timer and it has been working on my website ever since in both Safari and Firefox. I have been working on updating my site and suddenly it stopped working in Safari, but still works in Firefox. Obviously, I'd like it to work in everyone's browser if possible. I've created a page which only has the countdown timer on it. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get it to work in Safari?

JQuery animate not working in Safari after auto lock on IOS 8.2
Hi Guys,
We are developing a browser-based video platform which makes use of jQuery's .animate function and am encountering some problems. The animate function is used to simulate inertia when dragging buttons around. This all works perfectly, until the iPad auto-locks after 2 minutes. Once the iPad is unlocked, all inertia is gone. there's no error that I can see, the animate just doesn't work. Refreshing the page doesn't restore functionality, neither does re-entering the address manually into the address bar or navigating to the apps page and back. The only way to restore functionality is to double-tap the iPad's Home button to bring up the apps menu and swipe Safari up to close it.
'It's the code' I hear you cry. Well, I have 2 iPads for testing. One is an iPad 3, the other is a brand new iPad air. Both are on IOS 8.2. The old iPad works perfectly all the time in the exact same condition when the iPad air fails. I've also tried factory resetting the iPad air to try to resolve this but without success.
I've also done a lot of research into this and have seen the posts on stackoverflow saying a few people have resolved the issue with the upgrade from 8.1 -> 8.11 (I also had this issue on 8.1, the version that came with the iPad). Alas I still have it on 8.2.
Also, before anyone tells me to use CSS3 transitions, I use this on other platforms which work perfectly and do not support CSS3.

Ok, so after managing to reproduce this error on my old iPad I think I have it sussed. It's not the iPad's fault entirely. It seems that when you lock the iPad is can mess with the timestamps on events. Even after the app is reopened the timestamp seems to think that its back when it was locked. I've worked around this and used getTimestamp. Seems a few other people have seen this as well.
Hopefully anyone in the same boat will see this. Thanks to anyone who read it. -
Gradebook website will not work on Safari after restore and update.
Gradebook (via Education Solutions Development, Inc) will no longer permit me to log in. I was at the Apple store today to wipe my Macbook clean and they manually restored all of my files. They also updated my Macbook to OS X 10.9.5. The site worked fine prior to all of this. It loads normally, allowing me to enter my username and password. Once I hit "Enter" or click "Submit" however, the password disappears and I am left on the same log-in page. It does not go anywhere. All other websites are working fine. I tried downloading different browsers to access the site, but Gradebook is not compatible with those browsers. I really need to be able to access this site at home.
I have this exact issue as well. I'm very confused! If this doesn't get resolved here I think we might have to go to the Genius bar. What a pain! To circumvent it for now, I've downloaded the Chrome app because it works fine there.

I have downloaded the latest Adobe Flash on my laptop and it is not working on safari for youtube.I have uninstalled and installed it multiply times and it still wont show me youtube videos

YouTube will not work on safari for me on the ipad. Is there anyway to fix this? I can go anywhere else on the internet fine and it works on google chrome, but on safari it shows a blank screen with the bar on top after it loads, if it's even loading at all.
I do not know if it's relevant or not, but I got a message on my ipad while on safari saying that my iPhone has a virus. I looked it up and it seems it might have just been an ad from the website I was on, but it happened around the same time YouTube stopped working.You will find that using the YouTube app will provide a better viewing experience for YouTube videos.

Actually, I upgraded to mac Osx I had iphoto,imovie, the whole work; However. After downloading Osx 10.5.8 Only I photo would word, imovie would not work, my camera was not recognized. itunes was ok, After my system start having a problem I tried to re-download Mac Osx again, then I lost Imovie,iphoto, and itunes, recently I was able to get itunes back by downloading quicktime 7.7, in which i discovered through the support communities. get imove, i photo if at all possible. I've read that by installing a hex something, that it works fine. But it seems to be complicated to install. You would have to buy the DVD and upgrade that way.
Any applications that were using Classic emulation (OS 9 applications) in Mac OS X 10.4 would be lost in an upgrade to Mac OS X 10.5.

That depends on who does the refurbishing. If you buy a refurbished Mac directly from Apple, it will be as good as a new Mac and will even have the one-year warranty that comes with a new Mac. If you buy a "refurbished" Mac from an eBay seller, all bets are off. -

Work fine for me - they are just normal Flash videos.
Make sure your Flash Player is up to date.

You should first uninstall any previous version of Flash Player, using the uninstaller from here (make sure you use the correct one!):

In my System Preference, in the advanced settings, it is set to install updates also tells me that I have the NPAPI Plug-in (version 14.0.0.145) installed but not the PPAPI Plug-in. Is this the reason why it does not work with Safari (keeps telling me to download the app, which I did but still does not work)? Is there any way I could fix the problem? Please, help.
