Dear sir
actually i am installing a dialog instace ,and i have share a usr
(folder) as a SAPMNT for the network ,that time problem arise ,
how resolve this problem

when i installing a dialog instanse that time by mistake i am sharing a sap folder as a name of the sapmnt in bwdserver ,that time problem aries

The Sun Java System Application Server could not start:
Possible reasons:
1.port conflict
2.Incorrect server configuartion
3.corrputed deployed application
my java Studio Creator version: 2004Q2 Update9
I have used this tool for three weeks , in the frist week. everything is ok.
no probroblem happened. in the second week ,sometimes my JSC can not startup, so I restarted my JSC. and it can work again. later, the same problem happened again. when I restarted my JSC , it sill does not work, so I have to restart my computer and it startup successfully,
two days later, the same problem happened again. I restarted my computer , it still did not work. so I have to change my port number in the domain.xml. sometimes it woks well, but sometimes I can't not startup.
in the third week, no matter what I do, the problem can not be solved.
some of my colleagues don't have such problem. but some of them have the same problem. when I run my project on the computer that don't have such problem , it can startup. I don't know why, just a little weird.
till now , no one in our company can tell why this problem happened.
and I believe that anybody who use JSC will encountered this error sooner or later.
who can tell me why will this problem happen? and where can I find some related imformation about this problem. thanks!!!!!!

Oracle Enterprise manager 10g Fatabase Control and iSQL*Plus, I can not connect to the http://localhost:5500/em. The Alert says: The connection was refused when attempting to contact localhost:5500.

CRS process does not startup automatically when the system is rebooted

SOME TIMES(not always), CRS process ( exactly OracleCRService on
windows2003) does not startup automatically when the windows2003 is
rebooted.
O/S is windows2003 server.
DB is 10.2.0.2.0 RAC database that has 2 nodes.
I am testing a RAC database configuration, and thus rebooting one node
intentionally by turn.
I have tested about 20 times, and 17 times is OK. All required process is up
and all instance is up.
However, 3 times, OracleCRService services does not start, and concequently
database instance does not start automatically.

Database does not startup automatically
Oracle8i/Windows 2000 server
we have three database ,all are 9am to 6pm database
running on ARCHIVELOGMODE.
Few days back due to disk crash,
we have recovered our database using coldback up.
since we did not copy archive logs to different disk,
we lost some data.
disk was under warranty ,it was replaced.
then the database did not startup automatically.
okay the problem was,during booting(since 9am to 6pm database), we were daily logging in svrmgrl and startup the database manually.
now we have automated the above(startup) script in
windows scheduled task.

After updating firefox it will not startup. norton shows that update.exe is safe??????

All of a sudden,will not startup (no chime), only sound is the dvd(dl) that is spinning inside. I have tried everything I know (dmc? reset), removing 1 memory module at a time and trying to startup, still no chime only spinning of disk, still disk spinning, (this is a spare-backup), and I dont want to spend alot of $.

First, make sure it it shut down by holding down the power button for 5-10 seconds. Plug in the power adapter. Press the power button and hold down the shift key to see if you can start in Safe Mode.
If the power adapter and/or battery are known good, the next thing I'd check would be the RAM to make sure it is securely seated. If batt and/or power adapter are questionable, then you'll want to find one or both and try them out; if you don't know someone with a similar MBP, this might be most easily accomplished by making a free appointment at an Apple Store "genius" bar. -

Freeing Up Space on The Hard Drive
1. See Lion/Mountain Lion/Mavericks' Storage Display.
2. You can remove data from your Home folder except for the /Home/Library/ folder.
3. Visit The XLab FAQs and read the FAQ on freeing up space on your hard drive.

You must Empty the Trash in order to recover the space they occupied on the hard drive.
You should consider replacing the drive with a larger one. Check out OWC for drives, tutorials, and toolkits.
Try using OmniDiskSweeper 1.8 or GrandPerspective to search your drive for large files and where they are located.
If you are no longer able to boot your computer, then the drive is too full and has become corrupted. You may be able to repair it using Disk Utility on your Installer DVD:
Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Tiger Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
If this doesn't work, then you will have to erase the drive and install OS X from scratch. From the Tiger installer disc you will choose the Erase and Install install option. -
My MacPro would not startup; the chime never happened but the fans started and kept running. I shut down by holding the power key down, and then tried restarting. It started up the this, the second attempt. I then restarted using the install Snow Leopard DVD and used Disk Utility to repair the disk, which it did (the disk appeared to be OK). The machine would not shut down; I had to manually press the off button. I got this message:

Hi all,
We are having problems to startup a ReplicatedEnvironment after an ordered successfully shutdown of all nodes.
h4. Scenario:
<li>5 servers: Solaris 10 + JRE 1.6.0_17 64bits + BDBJE 4.0.103</li>
<li>Each server is running one jvm process with 7 replicated environments.</li>
h4. Problem:
After a full ordered shutdown where the JVM process on each server successfully closes all ReplicatedEnvironment instances, some ReplicatedEnvironment instance does not startup.
Master and Replicas are successfully set but it seems that "environment is not really open. In fact je.info.X is nor je.lck file is created.
The only way we found to successfully startup is by copying all "master" files to each "replica".

Greetings,
my 2007 imac 2.8 GHz running OS 10.6.8 started acting funny - slow disc access, internet access, etc. then stopped working all together last night. Now will not startup, even with C key held down and trying to start from a disk. I see a blank gray screen with the whirling icon then screen goes blank and shuts off. I spent an hour with Apple tech support and nothing we tried will start up the computer. Question - is this how imacs die? If I buy a new imac, can apple salvage my data? and no, time capsule never worked on my computer so I was not able to back up the data.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Firefox will not startup at my homepage.
I recently updated to Firefox 4. Firefox will not startup at my homepage. It starts up at the last website(s) I was on before ending my previous session. Under options it is set to startup at my homepage but still will not no matter what I have tried. The only reason this is annoying is because if I ended on a website that is password protected before signing out it doesn't seem to sign me out automatically like the previous version I had.

My iPod touch touch will not startup
My 3rd generation iTouch will not startup completely. A screen comes up with a USB plug with an arrow showing to hook to iTunes. When I do this I get the message "iPod cound not be restored. An unknown error occured (9)".
Any suggestions? I know it's old however it hasn't seen much use.
