Radio button in screen painter

if we create number of Radio buttons in the screen painter using the drag and drop , then should we group up all the radio buttons , if so pls let me know how to group up all the radio buttons .
I created 3 radio buttons using drag and drop in screen painter . I dont know to group them up . I used these radio buttons in my ABAP prog . while i executed all the radio buttons are checked . I think i need some help...

I am also facing a similar problem.....I have created two raidbuttons using screen painter......and I need to group them......I tried to select the radiobuttons and group them....but the define grouping option is greyed out....kindly assist..

Option button in screen painter

Hi everyone,
Can I group option buttons in screen painter? How?
I have two problems:
1. The options buttons seem disabled: when i click on them, they aren't checked

First bind your option buttons to a same datasource then use the following to group then
Dim ob1 As SAPbouiCOM.OptionBtn = oForm.Items.Item("ob1").Specific

Dim ob3 As SAPbouiCOM.OptionBtn = oForm.Items.Item("ob3").Specific

How to set / reset radio buttons in screen..

hi,
i have 4 radio buttons in my screen, initially only the first one must be active and all other must not be in selected state. at any point of time only one must be selected and based on the selection the subscreen area must be filled with the subscreen.
whats the code to check if the radio button is selected or how to set the action for the radio button selection ?
also whats the statement to reset the radio button ?

You put them all in a radiobutton group.
For example:
PARAMETERS: rb_pres RADIOBUTTON GROUP rbf,"Presentation Server Files
rb_app RADIOBUTTON GROUP rbf."Application Server Files
The first one is defaulted to "X", but you can also do that yourself.
You check the value = "X" to see which is selected or say IS NOT INITIAL.

hiii....
you have to remember that you have to define the radio buttons in 1 group.because if changes are made in the group from the elements list then it would affect on all the radio buttons for a particular tasks.
again radio buttons are always been declared with the parameter statements.
for eg..
Parameters:
p_rad1 radiobutton group rad1 default 'X' user-command rad1,
p_rad2 radiobutton group rad1,
p_rad3 radiobutton group rad1.
AT SELECTION-SCREEN ON RADIOBUTTON GROUP RAD1.
IF p_rad1 = 'X'.
select statement 1.
elseif p_rad2 = 'X'.
select statement 2.
elseif p_rad3 = 'X'.
select statement 3.
endif.
The group group over here is RAD1.
the default radio button over here is in radio button 1. you can also also check any of the radio buttons as default.

assign a Function Code for one of the radio buttons(It allows for only one Radio Button)
This triggers automatic PAI so when you take the F4 Help this is readily available
In TOP include make sure you define the variables corresponding to the Radio buttons on the screen and also provide default value X to one of the Radio buttons

Using a radio button to populate another group of radio buttons?

I am new to Adobe forms and new to Javascript. I have a question on my form with a radio button group (PHQ) with four choices 1, 2, 3 or 4. If the user chooses "1", I want a check to appear in the "No" box for another radio button group (Screen). If, on the other hand, the user chooses 2, 3, or 4, from the PHQ group, I want a check to appear in the "Yes" box of the Screen group. Is this possible? Not sure how to go about doing this.

I suspect that you have a problem in some portion of your code that you have not posted. To help debugging I suggest you create a simple test using two pages: input.cfm and action.cfm. Get the most simple case working then add the javascript, css, and CF code to make your application work.

Layout problem in screen painter

hi all,
the screen is not appearing when i click 'layout' button in screen painter when i am enabling a wsp client proxy server. Is there any solution?

some times SAP Gui behaves like this, in my case i faced this problem many times, some times after shutdown my sap logon pad. and restart the sap , go to se51 , it will open the Screen painter normally. But some cases i uninstalled the Gui, and re installed .then only it opens properly. select all components when installing.

Push Buttons, Radio Buttons, Folder Tabs

Could someone please let me in on the secret to selecting
background colors for push-buttons, radio-buttons and folder
tabs. I've tried the obvious properties with no luck.
I am developing on a Windows NT 4.0 platform using Developer
6.0. I will be releasing my app to the web soon and could
really use some help.
Ideally, I would like to be able to select any color ( i.e. to
match the background color of the canvas ), but so far the only
choices seem to be black, white or a couple of other non-
desirable colors ( bright red, green, yellow, yuck! ). Is a
custom color palette the ticket?
I realize that many button properties are controlled by Windows.
If this is the case, are there any work-arounds? When I
distribute the application, will I be able to offer my customers
the ability to configure Windows to correctly define the button
colors?
I am sure that others have these same questions. I have not
been able to find any answers. Any help is greatly appreciated.

1. Disabling Push button.
    In PBO loop at sccreen and check the field name is equal to push button name
    set screen-input = 0.
    modify screen.
    endloop.
2.assign a function code to radio button in screen element it will trigger the PAI.
In PAI during loop at table control check the field value is equal to 'X'.then not down the roqw number and in PBO enable the button based on the row number by looping at screen.
3Assign the fcode to push button.Once the user presses the button in PAI check the focde and see for which line it is pressed based on it call the pop up screen using FM or dialog box.

1. I am having an internal table , suppose it has 5 records , then I need 5 radio buttons on screen.
2. I need to dynamically name these radio buttons , based on one of the field of same internal table .

Hi Harsh,
A better approch would be to create a selection-screen with 15 buttons to start and make invisible other radio buttons that you dont want in the at selection-screen output event.
You can try like below:
parameters: r1 radiobutton group rad1 default 'X',
                    r2 radiobutton group rad1,
                   r15 radiobutton group rad1.
at selection-screen output.
describe table itab lines n.
l_cnt = 15 - n.
do l_cnt times.
n = n+1.
concatenate 'r' n into l_radioname.      <<< n no of radio buttons wanted
loop at screen.
if screen-name = l_radioname.
screen-invisible = 1.
modify screen.
endif.
endloop.

When I run this I will get both radio button selected.

<li>Place the cursor on first radiobutton and click on Graphical element button in the application toolbar.
<li>Now place the cursor on 2nd radiobutton and click on Define graph.group button in the application toolbar.
<li>Now radiobuttons are grouped and first one is defaulted.

Sub screen: Handling the Radio button selection?

Hi,
Scenario:
I have a Main screen and a sub screen. From the main screen I am calling the sub screen. On the Sub screen, I have 2 radio button. On the selection of the Radio buttons, I am activating/deactivating few of the screen elements on the sub screen.
I have grouped the radio button and also tried assigning Function code to it, but in vain..:(
Issue
I am not able to handle the event triggered by the selection of the radio buttons?

In the Main Screen Element List there is a field OK_CODE pass an entry into it
in the TOP Include
DATA : OK_CODE type SY-UCOMM. " This captures the OK_CODE from the Screen.
Since SUb Screen cant have their Own OK_CODE this can be handled in the Main Screen only
Try in PAI of Sub Screen using OK_CODE if it is not working then Implement the same in PAI of Main Screen
The system will generate UCOMM for Radio Button since they are in One Group only. Each Radio button cannt have a separate UCOMM assigned. In Screen Painter (if It is Module Pool) assign a FCode for the Radio Button.
Even if try changing the FCODe Value they still will have the New Changed Value but cannot be changed.
This automatically triggers PAI . only way to capture it is check
case ok_code. " Optionally you can omit this
when ok_code = 'RAD'. " This is common for all the Radio BUttons but cant be different
if r1 = 'X'.
elseif r2 'X' " Etc.
endif.
endcase.
