Radio Button Settings

Is there a way to prevent a set of radio buttons from being congruent to the previous? For example, I have a PDF form with Questions 1-5, each with a 'yes' and 'no' radio button. If the radio button for 'yes' is selected for Q1, and the 'yes' radio button for Q2, the radio button from question 1 disappears. This happens for each set of radio buttons in order. Is there a setting so that each set of radio buttons for each question is their own and not connected to the rest? Hope this makes sense.

I found something that describes my issue better than I did--
There are two or more radio buttons within a single group which have the same value. Clicking on one causes the dot to appear briefly and then move to the other radio button with the same value.
When creating a form, how do I make it so a group of radio buttons don't have the same value?

Bring radio buttons structure from another screen

Hi there,
I have been looking without sucess on how to bring information from different transaction on a single screen - the Personas concept; so far OK, until I needed to bring the radio buttons information from my PA20 to my original screen.
I tried to copy the radion button structure from the PA20 - infotype 331,and paste it to my newly created radio button on my main screen..but the result only contain the title.
Does any one have a clue on this?

You cannot move screen elements from one screen to another using Personas.
What you could do is defining custom screen objects (such as the group box and the radio buttons), then use scripting to navigate to the standard screen, read the radio button settings then navigate back to your consolidation screen and set the custom radio buttons according to the retrieved values.

How do I uncheck a radio button

I have a set of three radio buttons:
Field type: exclusion group
Value type: User entered optional, Default: none
When one accidentally checks one of these buttons, it cannot be unchecked - or at least so it seems.
The question is: Does anyone know of a way to make the checkmark disappear, for example by clicking one more time in the checked button?
I think that this is a common problem and that somewhere in the Livecycle button settings there is something that I have overseen, but I cannot find the solution!
I am not expierienced with javascript, but if that is what it takes I'm a fast learner.

You woudl have to execute a command to reset the RadioButtonList. The command is xfa.host.resetData("the name of the RadioButtonList")
Now you will need some way for the user to indicate this to you ....you can have a button on the form beside the radiobuttons to reset them and that code can go on the click event of that button.

Creation of selection screen with 2 radio button groups

Hi All,
I have following selecton screen to be created:
1. Radio Button for File
   A. Radio Button for PC File
       - Parameter for PC File Input
   B. Radio Button for UNIX File
       - Parameter for Unix File Input
2. Radio Button for Material
    - Material Select-Option
As per above Either of Radio Buttons 1/2 File/Material will be selected.
If 1(File) Selected Radio Button for PC File/Unix File will be selected, No other radio buttons will be active.
If 2(Material) Selected Material Select-option input will be given, No other radio buttons will be active.
How can we write the selection screen code for above design.

Win 7 Pro updates to Internet Explorer 11 every web page has blank frames and radio buttons. Updates show only IE11.

This entry frame on your page has radio buttons, giving me some editing functions - Bold, Italic, Underline, Insert unordered List, Insert Ordered List, Insert Hyperlink, Remove Hyperlink, Insert HTML, etc... but
I cannot see them. Ever since updating Internet Explorer to ver 11, there is no going back to IE8. Your Tech forum monitors keep rehashing the same links that do not answer this snafu. Your Monitors suggest that the web sites are not running
because they are not compatible with the newer versions of Internet Explorer - well, even Microsoft's websites? When you create a new web interface, why would your coding team make it incompatible with your own company's sites?
The Monitors suggest our cards can't handle GPU and we should turn to software rendering. My card is a GeForce GTX 50 TI and has, according to the manufacturer web site: "Microsoft® DirectX® 11 Support
DirectX 11 GPU with Shader Model 5.0 support designed for ultra high performance in the new API’s key graphics feature, GPU-accelerated tessellation."
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling IE and Microsoft must realize no customer wants to have the technical side string them along with pointless and futile misdirection to a garble of automatic chat responses that offer incomplete and unrelated fixes
and then expect to gain points in the voting buttons that "this fixed my problem".

Here’re some test you may take into consideration:
Make sure that you’ve installed all latest updates.
Since your Monitors keeps suggesting that the web sites are not running because it’s a compatibility issue, I suggest you add one site to the compatibility view list for a test, (if you can find the settings in Tools>Compatibility view settings)
Or click Win+F12, launch the F12 developer tool, click the last option, change the user agent string and document string to “10”, check whether the page can revert to normal.

WRT54G v 7.0 -- Setting "Keep Alive: Redial Period" not correct (radio button)

Hi,
I own a Linksys-Router WRT54G v7.0 with firmware v7.00.8 build 008, Jul. 9, 2009.
On the web GUI (Setup/Basic Setup) there's a setting "Keep Alive: Redial Period XX Sec.". As I'd like to stay connected with my provider permanently, I've set the radio button to "Keep Alive: Redial Period" and the according text field to "30" seconds. Then, I've clicked "Save Settings" and got a confirmation message that the settings got saved.
Anyway, even after saving the settings the according radio button is still set to "Connect on Demand...". But that is only true for newer browsers, like e.g. IE8, IE7 or Firefox 8. If you use an older browser, like e.g. IE6, then the radio button is correctly set to "Keep Alive: Redial Period" with a value of "30" seconds.
Conclusion: The settings get correctly saved by the router (I can confirm that), but they don't get correctly shown in the web GUI. Looks like a HTML/Javascript bug in the router's admin web GUI. That's really annoying as you never exactly know the effective settings...
Can someone confirm that bug? Is there a newer firmware than version 7.00.8?

When saving form with 'Save As', losing radio button value

I recently upgraded from Acrobat Pro 8.2 to Acrobat Pro 10. Now experiencing the following issue:
I have a PDF form, that is filled by an application. With Acrobat Pro 10, if I open the completed form, and then use 'File' > 'Save As' > 'PDF', then the radio button fields lose their value. Other fields retain their value, only the radio button fields become blank. If I use the 'Save' option, then the radio buttons do not lose their value.
Any help is appreciated!

Can you check on your page to see if you have "reset page" process - if so, you could probably remove it. Also check on your page branches so see if you are clearing the cache for the page. If your page item is not related to a table field, you can also change the "Source Used" setting for it to "Only when current value in session state is null".
When you submit a page, all page items should be stored in the session and would be available the next time the page is reloaded UNLESS you clear the cache for the page or the Source settings instruct Apex to retrieve the value from elsewhere - the above are the most likely causes, so check them first

After i posted I kept digging and found where the code is
that sets the font for the Radio buttons in the quizzes when you do
an export to flash. What I found out is listed below in case anyone
else ever needs the information- hopefully it will save someone
else some time.

Strating at line 106 there is the following code

I was then able to make the font size larger to match the

Hide/unhide radio buttons works in lab view, not in executable

I simplified a program I am using. When I run in lab view the radio buttons are visible or not (as programmed). But when I create an executable, this function is not working any more?
Do I need to make changes in the build settings?

On the Element list/General attr. tab I have:

On the Element list/Texts/ I/O templates tab I have:

With these settings, I am getting a fullstop instead of &, so adding the text in the element list didn't work for me. BTW The text where it says _ (underline) is read-only.

Can't See Shared Music (Not radio button problem!)

I haven't been able to see Shared Music on my college network since I reinstalled Windows XP (around iTunes 4.8). I don't know what settings have changed.
I now have the latest iTunes, the radio buttons are on. I heard about opening up a port, and bonjour service. I'm not sure how to execute those solutions.

Although that was a very helpful hint that I can in fact play Mac's iTune Music on iPad without syncing, it's not solving my primary issues, which are:
1. I bought some music via iTunes on iPad and I can't get them to Mac, because that Shared label is not present in my Mac iTunes
2. I want some of my Mac iTunes music to sync to iPad anyway, because I want to play it also when not being on home share network.
3. When I synced iPad, many apps have been removed from it and are not there anymore, but appear in Mac's iTunes in that Apps section under iPhone, iPod touch and iPad Apps, but are not below in iPad Apps - I don't know how to get them back to iPad and how to prevent this to happen again
These are maybe trivial questions, but I wasn't able to find answers and don't have so much time to search more.

Is it possible to flip the multiple choice quiz "radio" button from left to right of the answers?

I am working on a project that uses the "Require Right to Left composer" within the Global Preferences: General settings. The captions has been switched from left to right but the quiz answer radio buttons did not. Any help would be appreciated.

A workaround could be to create your own MCQ slides, using standard objects and widgets like the radiobuttons widget (there is an enhanced version created by Jim Leichliter) and advanced actions. Sender Radio Button disabled for Idoc adapter

Whats the necessity or significance of not having a sender communication channel(sender side radio button is disabled) and sender agreement in scenarios pertaining to Idocs....

Just think that IDOC adapter as a sender, that means, you are getting source file (IDOC) from R/3 (SAP) system definitely. And XI is also and SAP system. As both are SAP systems, we already have a way of establishing the connection between SAP systems, which is ALE configuration. Using which, you can easily transfer IDOC from R/3 to XI.
Also, you might know that IDOC and HTTP adapters reside on ABAP stack. When the R/3 and XI configuration settings are done, XI can receive the IDOC sent by R/3, directly to Integration Engine instead of Adapter Engine. If the file initially reaches to Adapter Engine, then the details about sender application are necessary, that means the Sender Agreement. But in this case, you don't even need the Sender Agreement.
I hope you understand why the IDOC sender button is disabled and sender agreement is not necessary.

Pop up screen with radio buttons

I'm a new to APEX and I've a requirement of creating popup page with two radio buttons.
This pop needs to pop before the starting/Home page.User must select atleast one of those radio buttons and then it goes back to starting/home page unconditionally.

OK - the user has finished with the login page and hasn't yet loaded page 1. Therefore, there is no page on screen, which is not possible :D
What you can do is something like the following:
1 - In your application, through Shared Components, create an Application Item called, say, G_OK_TO_CONTINUE
2 - On your page 1, create a new branch. The Branch Point setting for this should be "On Load: Before Header" (this is the point before any page rendering starts). The page to point to would be your "popup1" (except that this should probably be a normal page rather than a popup). The Conditions section for this branch would have the following settings:
Condition Type: Value of Item in Expression 1 != Expression 2
Expression 1: G_OK_TO_CONTINUE
Expression 2: 1
3 - On your "popup1" page, you should then have a branch that takes the user back to page 1. This branch must set G_OK_TO_CONTINUE to 1 (use the "Set these items"/"With these values" settings on the branch to do this) otherwise you create a loop.
So, when the user first logs in, Apex attempts to load page 1. The new branch is checked immediately and, as G_OK_TO_CONTIINUE is NULL at this point (and, therefore, does not equal 1), the branch will be triggered and the user is redirected to your "popup1" page. They do what they need to do on that page and, if you want them to actually go to page 1, the branch back to page 1 sets G_OK_TO_CONTINUE to 1, the new branch on page 1 checks this and because the condition is now false, the branch is not triggered and the user is passed through to page 1

WHEN I LOAD SOME WEB PAGES NOT ALL RADIO BUTTONS SHOW UP. HAVE TO SCROLL ALL OVER PAGE TO SEE IF ANYTHING SHOWS UP. IT HAPPENS ON A LOT OF SITES.

Make sure that you allow pages to choose their colors and that you haven't enabled High Contrast in the Windows Accessibility settings.
