There was a RAISE without a handler. The application will now exit.

My system is OS X Version 10.9.5. The program that I am having issues with Adobe Reader XI 11.0.09. I have had an issue that when I try to open a document from my shared network it shows the message below. This has not always been an issue and worked fine until there was a undated several months back.

How to raise multiple error messages at a time in a BADI

I'm using CHECK method of BADI ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST for some validation in ME21N/ME22N. I want to raise multiple error message at a time, when user clicks on Check button or Save button. Please let me know, is there any function module for this or is there any particular procedure for this?

Hi,
Raising messages from within BAdis is not a good choice and from the look of it , it appears to be causing a dump.
Look if the BAdi interface has any exceptions defined for the method, if so, raise the exception with your message like:
MESSAGE e002(sy) WITH 'Error' RAISING <badi_exception>.
Otherwise call the FM POPUP_TO_CONFIRM To show msgs to user

I am using user exit (SRVDET: EXIT_SAPLMLSP_040) to raise an Error message, it will terminate ME21N by the Error message. Did anyone know how to make it return to ME21N after an Error message...

Raise Application Error on Dynamic Action

I am using Apex 4.2. On a click of button a Dynamic Action is written, which calls a DB Package. The DB package has exception handlers and also the package has two output parameters
Error Code and Error Msg
So in my code(Dynamic Code) i make a call to the package and checks the value for Erroc Code.

But when i run the page and I click I get an Internal exception error

Since the plsql call is on the serverside, this error is trapped within the error handling function aswell. Your error has simply been obscured by it, and probably because it looks at the error backtrace and determines the error is internal.
Looking at the sample error handling code, this is probably where it goes "wrong":

As you can see, the ajax error is an internal error, and that is why it is handled as such in the error handler. With this info you should be able to adjust your handling function. Test for the error code (APEX.AJAX_SERVER_ERROR) and then throw the error message or test for the -20000 range of custom errors for example.

Error 80043ac1 - An external object raised an error. No Error Description

Hello,
After installing Crystal Reports runtime XI R2, I've been having the error:
Crystal Reports ActiveX Designer error 80043ac1 -
An external object raised an error. No Error Description.
This same runtime package have already been successfully installed in other server (Windows 2003 as well).
I have already tried to give permission to IUSR user (full control) in Windows temp folder.
Does anybody have any information on this issue?

I have tried to use Process Monitor, and found out that I had to give permission for IUSR to the root drive.
I gave some permissions, and the error message changed:
"Create object failed
An error occured while creating "oCrystal". error '8007007e'"
oCrystal is an application variable that I created in global.asa it contains:
<object runat="server" scope="application" id="oCrystal" progid="CrystalRuntime.Application.11"></object>
I run Process Manager again, and found another process with "access denied" for user IWAM, so I gave again permissions for it and finally worked.

Need a query,which will do a comparison and if it doesnt satisfy the condition it should raise an error by using raiserror statement

I have a Table called Test_ X in which there are two fields:
1) date_value
2)Application_Name
requirement: we have to calculate the number of days ramaining through date_value field and compare it to with n days.
if it is less than n days it should raise an error through raiserror statement.
I get the below logic to get the no of days before expiry:

With above satatement am able to get the Number of days before expiry .

You can use variables in the RAISERROR, but not expressions, e.g.

Problem after raising an Error message in VA01

Requirement: I need to raise an error message when a particular item and sold to party combination is not having any live contract.
What I did: In USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBED.
1.     XVBAP having item details
2.     VBAK structure having header details (I will get sold to party here)
3.     VAPMA structure having the contract detail if any contract is exist.
Here I raised an error message and its getting raised properly.
Problem: Once the error message came I cant able to clear or delete that line item (in va01 screen), I am getting an error message No item category is available only I can go back without saving.
And I have tried in USEREXIT_MOVE_FIELD_TO_VBAP. Here I am not able to access the contract details from VAPMA (coming as blank)
Please help me to clear this problem

You can retrieve the VAPMA data as:

ECATT RAISE EXCEPTION error during multiple record processing

I wish to load records to a table via an in-house-written ABAP program. This program consists of a main screen and multiple sub-screens. I am submitting an Excel spreadsheet as input. The eCATT configuration successfully runs the TCD script for alternate records. For every other record that is processed, a RAISE EXCEPTION error occurs. If an even number of records is submitted, the same result occurs upon multiple re-submissions. If an odd number of records is resubmitted, the RAISE EXCEPTION error occurs on opposite records from the previous submission. For example,

just double click the recording you have made and find a field name called "DATA_INCOMPLETE" parameterised that "X".Now execute and see,it should work fine..

It would seem that the compiler can't find the mx.* packages. Check that the Flex SDK is in your classpath.

How can I raise an error in an application process?
the application process in on-load before header
I want to check something at this event
when not ok I want to show the process error message that can be defined at the aplication process.
The help text of this process error message says:

If required, you can style it using HTML to identify between success and error cases

The adapter failed to transmit message going to send port "ALL.Exceptions" with URL "SQL://xxxxxxxxx/EsbExceptionDb/". It will be retransmitted after the retry interval specified for this Send Port. Details:"Login timeout expired".
