Raising Purchase Order inclusive of all taxes (India Localizaiton)

Hi All,
We have an issue where purchase order needs to be created inclusive of all taxes. (Taxes being part of India Localization Taxes).
For Example: A Purchase order will be created for say Rs. 10,00,000/-. This is the gross amount inclusive of all taxes.
In this case system should do a backward calculation and calculate amounts against each tax code and get the PO base amount as well.
Regards
Ravi

Ravi
In R12.1 and later, Oracle has provided a fucntionality for inclusive taxation. If you are on this version, then this is possible. Else you will have to create the PO by manually back calculating the base amount of PO and then applying the taxes on it.

When I create entry sheet of one po with tcode ml81n,the error raise:purchase order incomplete(parked)message id:se215.
    How to solve this?Thank you!
    maojian

    hi Jian,
Go into the PO using ME22N, check whether there is any warning message in it.Complete the PO and then only save it.
Also check whether the PO is to be released,if it is yes then Release it and then create Entry Sheet using ML81N.wrt PO.
Also check whether you are referencing a park or hold PO.
    Hope it will help you.

    Hello All,
I am quite new to Financials. In PO module.
As per my knowledge once the requistion raised upon approval Purcahse Order is created. So now I want to calculate the time duration between the purcahse requistion raised and Purchase Oder created.
How can I do this.As I could not find any link between po_requsition_headers_all and po_headers_all
    Thanks and kindRegards,

    Hi Orion
I suggest you to translate it to english before somebody feels awful. Orion's customer wants mantain a kind of register to trace or manage the traceability for this flow from SO to PO in a cross company scenario.
If a understand you, you do this flow:
SO from a customer not cross company-> request from this SO to other company cross company -> PO with ME59 (is the third part customer if I'm right)
Do you check all flow in VBFA table? I suggest to see the SAP Note 627846 - AFS: Purchase order document flow for
sales order incorrect, although it's so older, it gave me ideas in the past. I suggest you to avoid 'handle' the fields related with key fields (number of documents, number of items, and so on). Create reports or create customer tables and populate records for this trace. After, you can create lists for your customer to know about this traceability.
If you are agree other possibilty is enhance SAP tables with customer fields and see them in the documents. There a lot of tools to do it (VOFM subroutines in the copy rules, BADI's and enhancemetns to see customer fields in new tabs in SO, PO and so on).
    I hope this helps you

  • In individual PO senario want to change plant while raising purchase order

    hello friends
i am doing individual P. O. in this scenario
when i raise sales order, purchase req. is generated wrt tht when i am doing PO system copies the plant from sales order.
but i want to that material should deliver to other plant.
    material is trading goods

When you create a sales order for a customer and then subsequently create a PR-PO wrt to sales order the delivery address will be that of the customer. I have not come across a scenario where you create a sales order to a customer and then procure it externally to deliver at some other site. Play around with the acct assignment and item categories in Purchasing to see if your scenario can be helped. If you can explain the business scenario elaborately I can give a shot.
    Thanks

  • Transfer tax code shopping cart to purchase order

    Hi guys,
Got an issue with regards to taxes. Went through the forum, but wasn't able to find a conclusiver answer. So I'm a bit lost.
    We're on SRM5, SP18 ECS version.
We modify the tax code in the shopping cart based on certain punch out catalogs.
The shopping cart contains the correct tax code after the modification.
When the shopping cart is transferred to a purchase order, the purchase order contains the default tax code of our system.
    Example:
Data is transferred from catalog to shopping cart. The tax code is modified to code V1 (from default V3).
The shopping cart is now approved and a purchase order is generated. This purchase order contains code V3 (our default code).
Finance is starting to complain that they can't match the invoices in a proper way due to a mismatch in taxes.
The modification in the shopping cart is done via BBP_DET_TAXCODE_BADI.
I checked the mapping option via customizing, but this doesn't seem to work in our case. Back end contains the same tax codes as SRM
Should we somehow work with the doc_change badi? If so, does anyone has some sample coding? Or is the another option?
    Regards,
    Timo

    Hello Sukumar
Noticed the note as well, but it doesn't seem to apply for our case.
We've found a solution (to be developped). While transferring the data from the punch out catalog, we will change the product category to a category with the proper tax code assigned. This seems to work when we debugged it.
    Regards,
    Timo

  • Blocking creation of purchase order

    >The following is the requirement of our client :-
    >While making a purchase order, the user should be able to create a purchase order only for value below Rs. 3,00,000/- which will be inclusive of all taxes, excise duty and other purchase related costs entered in the purchase order. If the po is above Rs. 3,00,000 the user should be allowed to make a purchase order in tcode ME21N. All the POs above Rs. 3,00,000/- should be processed through the Order Approval Process developed separately.
    >What settings and configuration needs to be made in mm for the same. The customer also want a message to be flashed on screen that the Order is above rs. 3 lacs and oaf process has to be followed.
    >Thanks in advance.
    >AJ

    Hi Ashutosh,
The PO above any certain value can brought under Release Procedure of PO.
The aim of the SAP purchase order release procedure is to replace the manual written authorization procedures.  The person responsible for the processes of the requisition or other purchasing document in the system have to approve by marking an "electronic signature" which can give the document legal force for further processing.
    This link will help you:
    http://www.sap123.com/showthread.php?t=59
Workflow scenario can be worked out for Release Procedure for PO instead of Flash. It intimates the user about the PO in his mail box.

    Nani.

  • How to set up automatic payment for the purchase order

    Hi, All,
I have one question how to set up automatically payment for the Rent Office purchase Order?
There is the requirement from the client. They want to create one kind of purchase order for the Office Rent, then pay the fees in the certain time of every month to the vendor for the rent fees without any invoice. Whatu2019s the normal solution for this kind of purchase order? Is it ERS? Or something else?
Please give me the details and business flow. Also please tell me how to setup in the SAP and T-code.
    Thanks in advance

Either you can set up ERS or you can pay directly from the FI side.
    Prerequisites
Evaluated receipt settlement must be flagged in the purchase order item.
The vendor must be flagged as being subject to ERS in the vendor master record.
The goods receipt must refer to a purchase order.
Goods-receipt-based Invoice Verification must be defined for the purchase order item.
A tax code must have been maintained in the purchase order item.
The order price of the materials may not be an estimated price.
If you flag a vendor as being subject to ERS, the system sets the ERS indicator as a default in each item when you create a purchase order for the vendor. You can prevent this happening for certain vendors by flagging the info record for the material and the vendor as not being subject to ERS.
In Purchasing, you can delete the default ERS indicator in a purchase order item.
Choose Logistics Invoice Verification ® Automatic Settlement ® Evaluated Receipt Settlement (ERS).
    The selection screen appears.
You can use the following criteria to narrow down selection of the transactions to be settled:
    Company code
    Plant
    Goods receipt posting date
    Goods receipt document
Fiscal year of the goods receipt
    Vendor
    Purchase order and order item
You can define the selection criteria for the invoice documents by:
    Delivery
    Purchase order
    Purchase order item
    Goods receipt document
    Credit memo
    Invoice
    Currency
    Choose  Execute.
The system issues a log for Evaluated Receipt Settlement, which displays the following:
    Settled
In line with your selection criteria, the system displays all the order items that were settled (or if you are working in test mode, which would have been settled).
    Could not be settled
In line with your selection criteria, the system displays all order items for which ERS is defined but could not be settled. It also lists the reasons.
If the system reports being unable to invoice a transaction, you should exclude the transaction from ERS to avoid it being included in the log the next time ERS is run.
Select the item and choose Exclude from ERS.
The system also generates and possibly sends a message to inform the vendor(s) about the transaction settled, depending on the settings in Customizing.
You can display the following environment information for the order items selected. To do this, choose Goto ®:
    Display purchase order
    Display invoice
    Display material document
    Display long text

  • Stored procedure in purchase order for duplicate item for a vendor

    Hi all
I have written a stored procedure for duplicate item for vendor the output i need from this SP is whenever for a vendor we will raise purchase order the system should check that their shouldn't be any po in the system for the same item by the selected vendor. Its working fine when only one item is selected but it is behaving wrongly when more than one item is selected.

    Hi Rashid,
    Try this,
    if @object_type = N'22' and @transaction_type in (N'A', N'U')
    begin

    declare @lin1 int

               Continue

  • URGENT u0096 MM Purchase Order (Implementation Query)

    **URGENT HELP REQUIRED**
    Dear All,
I need some Information/help URGENTLY for a presentation/meeting I will be attending later this week.
If a service based company, wants to start implementing Purchase Order Processing (ME21N), however they only want to implement the actual MM Module to a (Very Minimum) what/how would they make this happen??
Currently this company has an Invoice Management System Called “Ebydos/Readsoft and all Vendors Invoices are managed & paid via this transaction”. They do not want to scrap this system (So we will NOT be using T-Code - MIRO). In addition, this Company does NOT want to Goods Receipt so basically “No” MIGO or ML81N – We have 2 Way as opposed the the usual 3 Way matching.
This company wants to Implement a VERY MINIMAL – MM System, where its users Can Raise Purchase Orders, without maintaining the Item lines. So basically they want Purchase orders with the Header Information Only (EKKO), and they don’t want to maintain anything in the Item information (EKPO) – I assume this is because they don’t want to maintain material etc...
Also if this company absolutely has to use the Item Level in ME21N (Creating Purchase Orders), then they would ideally like to code the item Direct to a GL Account Code (Table – BSEG), rather than a particular item & purchase groups / material group – (Table EKPO).
I hope the above makes sense, basically the Information I need is the following:
    (1) Is it possible to Create purchase orders WITHOUT implementing MM (EG – Can some form of Purchase Ordering System, be created/configured in FI/CO) – Which we currently have, which would give us control on what we procure??
    (2) If we must implement MM what is the Minimum Implementation/Configuration we need?
    (3) Can you Create Header Only (EKKO) Purchase Orders, without maintaining Materials or Doing Item Lines. If we MUST do Item lines, can they be coded DIRECT to a GL Code (BSEG) rather than a particular Item & Material / Purchasing Group (EKPO)??
    (4) Finally Can SAP handle the demands we require (as detailed above). Or are we talking about some form of a Be-Spoke system, linked or within SAP??
Thanks for your help in advance. Please email or post DOCUMENTATION / LINK to support /back-up your information/theories…
    Kind Regards
    RICK

    1) Is it possible to Create purchase orders WITHOUT implementing MM (EG – Can some form of Purchase Ordering System, be created/configured in FI/CO) – Which we currently have, which would give us control on what we procure??
What is the use of purchasing system when you don;t even have the mateiral created or any other org structure for purchaisng
rather then use just existing system in this case
    (2) If we must implement MM what is the Minimum Implementation/Configuration we need?
The minimum config you need is org structure of MM like purcahse org
purchase group, plant, storage location etc. to start purchasing process
No it is not possible wihtou item line but in item line you can enter just text of mateirl but in this case you need cost center or any cost object
you can create cost center and attcahe GL to that
    (4) Finally Can SAP handle the demands we require (as detailed above). Or are we talking about some form of a Be-Spoke system, linked or within SAP??
SAP can handle but it is useless in my point of view
that's the reason first time i didn;t reply but i see your request agian..so i replied.
