Are you having an issue detecting the memory card? Is it asking for a password? You can remove the password by going to Applications > Office > File mgr. > Options > Memory card password. Otherwise, can you further elaborate your concern for us to provide the proper solution?

Diadem Error: Cannot Store Complete Internal Data

I am trying to save data in my portal to a TDM, but I get the error: "Cannot store complete internal data in the file "FILENAME.TDM" with the format "TDM". I'm not sure how to diagnose the problem, since the error does not provide much information.
I have a script that pulls together two seperate files, a *.dat and an *.atfx file. It searches through the data to find certain measurments, and then averages a few channels and adds these averages to a new group. I have 16 groups and 257 channels. The file is fairly large, so maybe I am exceeding some limits?
Any ideas?

Perhaps this is related. While I have the data loaded that cannot be saved in the TDM, and I am browsing he help file. I get an error claiming that there is not enough memory for this task. I click ok and diadem abruptly closes. I have attached a screen shot of the error, also showing available system resources, and it seems like I should have plenty available. I have 1.5GB of available memory, and 46GB of available disk space. Why am I getting this error. Is there some setting that limits how much resources diadem can use?
I have also attached a screen shot showing system resources AFTER diadem closed.

Error "Cannot connect to 'AD' data repository. Your username or password may be incorrect." while login to ESSO Provisioning Gateway

Hi all,
I'm facing a problem while login into ESSO Provisioning Gateway, it throws error "Cannot connect to "AD" data repository. Your username or password may be incorrect.". My Provisioning Gateway version is 11.1.1.5.2 and it is freshly installed. It throws error while I try to set event log in PG setting menu. The symptom is really like document with ID 467150.1 in Oracle Support but my storage is Active Directory as had mentioned above not Oracle Internet Directory. Have anyone ever faced problem like thisOIM? Any help will be very much appreciated. Thanks

I use only support.mozilla.org and never used any other websites. However, the same problem here. My ID and Password are not accepted. Had to create a new account with a temporary email to use Support - it would not allow me to use my main email, because "it is used by another account". Try to reset password - receive no email (even though there is a confirmation on the website that email to reset password has been sent). At the same time can easily receive a confirmation about User ID and account activation. Thus, the account is completely locked, and I can not use my email address for a new one. Please fix this problem.

N97 Disk error cannot complete write retry or dat...

Hi I have a N97 and getting the disk error .
I have formatted the mass storage
Restarted with the four key hold down ( on button delete shift and space)
I have upgraded my software to 2.0.2.42
And still have this error?
Can anyone tell me what else I can try apart from throwing it up against a wall ! Been working on this for 2 days and it is very frustrating !

Can you access the mass storage from your PC? Connect the phone in Mass storage mode, and backup your data - music, videos, images, map data, other files that you've stored in it. Then, format the mass memory from the PC, and then from the phone so that it will build the directory structure that it needs. Copy everything back from the PC to the mass memory. Restart the phone. See if this helps.
Otherwise, I'm sorry to say that you will have to take it to the nearest Nokia Care Point.

Recovery Disk Error : cannot read from source file or disk HOW TO FIX ISSUE

I have had my satellite L655-S5096 for some time now.. I had to switch out hard-drives the other day and installed windows 7 home on it from my own disk. I tried to download all the drivers needed, but the graphics and wifi drivers never worked, so I pulled out the old toshiba disks to start from new with this harddrive.. It gets to asking me for the second disc, then the second disc gives me the the "cannot read from source file or disk PREINST8.SWM" This is from the "out of the box" setting, which is recommended. I do not know how to fix this issue besides reinstalling windows 7 from my disc and trying to get the drivers to work again.. however I shouldn't have to since I have the Toshiba recovery disks.. do I need new disks?
Yes, I also had the hard drive drivers and all of that installed.. my toshiba reads the HDD just fine.

the second disc gives me the the "cannot read from source file or disk PREINST8.SWM"
My best guess is that the disc is not readable. Try copying it to another. Sometimes that works.
Otherwise, order new discs from Toshiba.

Disk Error - N95

Hello friends, I was trying to access internet from the N95 and it got a bit
stucked and then prompted " Disk error .. : Retry or data will be lost
so I selected Retry and it prompted the same thing again. After
trying for thrice, I decided to restart the device. So I switched off
and restarted. But by then, it is showing as No Memory Card Inserted
and when I try to enter the card into my old device, it gets stucked
too. When I entered my old microSD into N95, it worked. Oh pls help me
! That memory card was my lifetime storage ! ! ! And I can assure you
that I kept it untouched for the last two or so weeks.
Pls help me ! What's the use if data is
lost.. How can I recover it ?

Hi,
One thing to try before consigning the memory card to the scrap heap is to insert it into your notebook or a standard card reader.
No guarantees, but some of the data may be recoverable.
Remember: Always stop all applications accessing the memory card before removing / inserting it.

Cannot store complete internal data error

Hello Diadem gurus,
I have some tdms files that I am post processing. I use diadem for that purpose. Some files cause the error "cannot store complete internal data error in the file."
See the attached picture. I assume it may be caused by my page file or a setting within Diadem. Any suggestions on how to prevent this?
Nasty detail is that the source files were actually lost! (I am saving changes made with diadem back into the same file, but in reality it simply overwrites the file.)

There were a number of improvements made to the TDMS DataPlugin, which debuted with DIAdem 10.1. These improvements are available for download at www.ni.com/dataplugins for DIAdem 10.1 users. However, there was one fix made that was too extensive to backport to the DIAdem 10.1 codebase, and this I believe is the one you need. This last fix regarded the saving of enormous TDMS files. The TDMS DataPlugin which shipped with DIAdem 10.1 expected to fit all the data values into memory at one time. The TDMS DataPlugin which ships with DIAdem 10.2 Beta3 is able to buffer the data values to disk, therefore not requiring the entire file to fit in memory in order to succeed in exporting it to TDMS file.
The good news is that if you install DIAdem 10.2 Beta3 you will get the DIAdem 10.2 USI layer along with the correct TDMS DataPlugin. Then even if you uninstall DIAdem 10.2 Beta3, the newer USI and TDMS DataPlugin will remain and work correctly with your DIAdem 10.1. You can get the DIAdem 10.2 Beta3 by visiting the www.ni.com/beta website and requesting to participate in the DIAdem 10.2 Beta program. Once you have requested this, remind me to activate your Beta profile, after which you will be able to download the installer.

hi when i receive any call after this call i receive this error "Disk Error - cannot com..." "Retry or data will be lost."
this error affected my pictures also which saved in my memory card.i also install its new firmware but of no use.

I format my memory & everything is OK now!
No more annoying messages
Go to Menu => Tools => Memory
Then press Options then choose Format mem. card
That's all
You can copy your important files before formatting

Disk Error after BC Windows XP Install on Snowleopard

So when I inserted the Windows XP disc in my mac after it told me to, my computer restarted and installed Windows XP on my newly partitioned 40GB Fat32 drive (it had asked to chnage to NTSF but I selected leave without changing. After installing Windows it said something like "Windows is installed, now restarting", now every I try to boot up with the Windows XP partition by holding down "option/alt" at start up, it goes to the black DOS like screen and says Disk Error, cannot load Windows, press any key to continue". Pressing any key does nothing, so I have to restart, and thus I am at another brick wall.
I downloaded some Boot Camp Snow Leopard Drivers and tried burning the .iso of it to a disc but that wasn't even working, not sure I even need to get to that step yet.

Got it, was supposed to reformat the drive within the windows installation. Turns out reading the .pdf manual can be helpful....

I uninstalled iTunes from my G5. I then downloaded the latest version from the Web Site and when attempting to install, all options are greyed out with the word "Skip" next to "Install Itunes", etc. Express Install returns the error "Cannot continue. There is nothing to do". I ran Disk Warrior thinking that perhaps it was a permissions issue. No luck.
The CD that came with this 30GB Unit only shows the Updater and not iTunes itself, which I find very odd.
I did not deauthorize the computer first, but unsure if that would have anything to do with it.
I did find one KB that addressed part of the issue or so it would appear. It said to "Remove the 'iTunesX.pkg' file from ./Library/Receipts and try again". It wasn't even present; the only item listed there is Adobe Acrobat.
Any assistance greatly appreciated.

I think you were looking in the wrong Receipts folder. If the only thing you see is Acrobat Reader, then you were looking in ~/Library/Receipts in your home folder>. There's another one off the top level of your hard drive. If you double-click on your hard drive in the Finder, you'll see a folder there called "Library". Double-click it and inside there is a folder called "Receipts". That one should have a whole bunch more files in it. Don't delete any other receipts, just the ones from the KB article.

I am trying to connect to an external data source (web service) that is hosted on another server through SharePoint designer.
I go to the external content type section->new content type-> External system "click here to discover external data sources and define operations"
Add connection->data source type ="wcf service"
enter url in the "service metadata url" and "service endpoint url"
Try to connect. While trying to connect, it gives me this error
"Cannot connect to Business Data Connectivity Metadata Store"
error details: "The server was unable to process the request due to an internal error. For more information about the error, either turn on IncludeExceptionDetailInFaults(either from ServiceBehaviorAttribute or from the <serviceDebug> configuration
behavior) on the service in order to send the exception information back to the client, or turn on tracing as per the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.0 SDK documentation and inspect the server trace logs."
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This solution with New-SPTrustedRootAuthority helped me in the following situation (which is like the one in the topic):
I have a WCF service hosted on the SharePoint web site with dynamic binding. SharePoint web site is configured with host header (DNS alias) and SSL. Kerberous is enabled (this config does not work with NTLM only). I use Secure Store Service identity (Windows
type) when configuring BSC connection to the service. When I try to connect to this WCF service from SharePoint Designer to create an external content type, I get this errror: "Cannot connect to Business Data Connectivity Metadata Store".
These two steps resolved the issue:
1) Add SSL certificate of the web site where WCF service is hosted to the "Trusted Root Certification Authorities" of "Certificates (Local Computer)"
2) Run the following command in SharePoint PowerShell console:
foreach ($cert in (Get-ChildItem cert:\LocalMachine\Root)) { if (!$cert.HasPrivateKey) {New-SPTrustedRootAuthority -Name $cert.Thumbprint -Certificate $cert } }

Cannot display table's data from an Excel File

Hi everyone,
I have uploaded my excel table to ODI but now i got an error message on a window that whenever I try to see the info and it says more o less the following:
Oracle Data Integrator Error
Cannot display table's data.
java.sql.SOLException: [Microsoft][ODBC Excel Driver) The Microsoft Jet database engine cannot open the tile '(unknow)', It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data.
Has any one faced this issue before?
I assume that it is something with the ODBC, but as far as I know it was all right.
I would really appreacite any ideas on how to solve this issue.

Something is reading your file, have you got it open in Excel?
I've had similar issues reading Excel via ODBC with OBIEE - once a process opens it you might find you need to kill whatever it was and restart it.
So its either you or the ODI Agent / Console , try restarting it if its not you.

I am currently trying to install Office 2010 Pro Plus onto my machine that has Access 97 and Access 2003, Visio 2003, Excel 2003, PowerPoint 2003, and Word 2003 installed. I need to keep the previous versions of Office installed as they are used for development
work. When I try installing Office 2010 I've stopped with the following error message: "An Office installation on your computer is corrupted and setup cannot continue. Remove or repair the Office 2003 product and re-run setup." I can't remove and
repair doesn't seem to do anything. Most posts suggest removing previous office versions or deleting/altering the MS Office registry keys (which would damage the previous versions of Office). Is there a solution to install Office 2010 independently of any
other version of Office installed?

I figured out a method to finally install Office 2010 bypassing the error stated in the title, by manually removing all the keys that included the term "Office 2003" from the Windows registry.

Hi. Trying to connect iomega ext. HD. i have to reformat for Mac. When i plug in & go to Disk Utility,the external shows up and i'm supposed to click "partition". When i do, a box comes up saying ""Disk Utility has lost its connection with the Disk Management Tool and cannot continue. Please quit and relaunch Disk Utility." I quit and relaunched, same results. After googling my question, i came up with this:
"Disk Utility has lost its connection with the Disk Management Tool and cannot continue. Please quit and relaunch Disk Utility."
(Quitting and reopening Disk Utility does not help.)
The following also appears in Console log:

Workaround
Quit Disk Utility.
From the Finder's Go menu, choose Go to Folder....
Type the following, then click OK: /Library/Receipts
Temporarily remove these iTunes receipts from /Library/Receipts (sort the folder alphabetically as a list):
iTunes.pkg
iTunes4.pkg
You can put them on the desktop, for example. Do not remove iTunesX.pkg or iTunes Phone Driver.pkg.
Open Disk Utility and repair disk permissions again.
Quit Disk Utility.
Put the removed iTunes receipts back in /Library/Receipts.
Note: This issue does not affect Disk Utility's verify or repair disk features.
All seemed good, for a moment, until, upon going back to Disk Utility after removing itunes4.pkg and putting on desktop (i did not have itunes.pkg to remove) the same thing was happening. When i highlite my iomega ext. on left of page, disk perrmissions is grayed and does not allow me to click on it. Same problem from the start. Can somebody please help me out here? That would soooo awesome. Thanx!

You shouldn't be scared of that, because you should already have backups. If you don't have backups, then backing up is the first priority.
Insert the Snow Leopard DVD and restart. When you hear the chime, hold down the C key and keep holding it until the Apple logo appears on the display. You should now see the language selection screen. Select your language, then choose Utilities > Disk Utility from the menu bar. In the Disk Utility window, select the external drive (not the internal). The drive may already have a data partition, in which case there will be another icon below the drive icon. Choose the drive icon, then select the Partition tab. Create a single partition with the default options (GUID partition table, Mac OS X Extended Journaled).
When the partitioning is done, select the startup volume on your internal drive in the DU window. Select the Restore tab. Drag the icon of the startup volume to the "Source" field. Then drag the icon of the newly-created volume on the external drive to the "Destination" field. Make sure you have this right. Then click the Restore button, and the data on your startup volume will be copied to the external drive.
