Re-Install MS Office Pro 2007

I have had to re-install my windows from a virus and when trying to install (download) the 2007 Office Pro with my 25 digit code it states :
The Office 2007 Product Key you provided is blocked for activation and as a result, is not eligible for a free download.  To  download a free trial or to purchase Office 2010 products, please go to
I have contacted Office support and they sent me to you.
Can you assist ?

I don't think Microsoft Office support sent you to the .Net Framework Class Libraries forum. This forum is for questions from programmers about how to use the the class libraries in their applications. I think you probably need to to post on http://answers.microsoft.com

I ignored this for sometime but today I lost my patience and decided to fix this nagging problem. The update prevented me from using the shutdown option as then it would download the updates and then fail over and over again.
None of the steps helped however they set me on a path. I uninstalled all unwanted programs but that was not what fixed the issue. I noticed other than Office 2007 I also had installed Word viewer 2007 , Excel viewer, Powerpoint viewer. I uninstalled these
voila!! Windows update said I don't need these updates on which the install was failing, I checked for updates again and the above updates never appeared in the list of updates found.
I thought I will put this out there just incase someone else runs into similar situation as me. Good Luck.

  • I upgrad Office Pro 2007 to Office Standard 2010

I upgraded my Office Pro 2007 to Office Standard 2010 yesterday and everything went fine with the exception. On this one machine the user is having word crash while he is working on it, sometimes right away, sometimes it is good for five minutes, it crashes
no matter what the file is, even on new documents with very little text. Nothing has worked, we have even attempted reinstall of the office suite. Can I fix my office word ? The system is running Windows 7. Fully up to date on patches and there is no 3rd party
software installed that isn't installed on other machines in the building. The error message is listed below, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.Problem signature.

For the benefit of anyone that may run into this issue, uninstalling 2003 corrected the problem or use demo software
    Word Fix Toolbox (http://www.word.fixtoolbox.com/).
I do appreciate your response but as you are suggesting that in some situations it may not correct the issues, it should be noted all systems have variances in them for installed software and personal configuration so it should not be summarily dismissed
because in some environments it can help.

  • Error Code 30088-4 Installing OneNote 2013 with Office Pro 2007

Hi, I have been through most of the forums and have not found something related directly to this, but if it has been covered please direct me to the correct thread. I am installing OneNote 2013 on a computer running Windows 7 and Office Professional 2007.
I am running the installation as an administrator; however, each time I click the installer I get an error message stating there has been an issue and it gives me error code 30088-4. I have attempted the process of going to Control Panel > Programs and
Features, clicking on Office 2007, and selecting Change; however, no further windows will open once I click change so I am unable to click "Repair." I also went into Regedit and changed the
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office entry to use Office.old and re-attempted the installation, receiving the same error. I have not yet attempted uninstalling and reinstalling Office yet, and wanted to see if there were any other
fixes before I go that route.
    Thanks,
    Teddee

    Hi,

  • Installation of Office Pro 2007 - Error is not a valid Win 32 application

I am using MS office Pro trial on widows 7 operating program and have just brought the full retail version.
When I insert the installation disc the program will not install, after about 5 minutes I get a message"
    *D:\is not a valid Win 32 application.*
The retail version I brought is certified for windows vista, I loaded on my PC which is running XP and the disc worked as should.( I did not go through with the install on the PC, I just tested the disc)
I copied onto a external hard drive and tried to load it from there. No go!
I even used my product key code on the trial program but it rejected it!
Any ideas out there would be most helpful

This may get round the problem if its related to "old" progs on your install disc. I used this method when installing Office 2007 with a packaging date of March 2007 in case it saved lots of product update downloads - worked perfectly but I still had 20+ updates downloaded after install.
If you have a reasonable broadband speed then [dowload the Office 2007 trial|http://us20.trymicrosoftoffice.com/default.aspx] . MS email and display a trial product key but when the download starts to run don't use this key but your own "full" version product key
Just re read your post - you are going from trial to full so what you do is follow MS instructions
Follow these steps to activate the trial:
Follow these steps to convert the trial:
You can convert from the trial software to a full-version either before or after your trial period ends.
    Before the trial period ends:
You will start receiving expiration reminder messages indicating the date when the trial will expire. At this point, you can convert to the full product in two ways:
    1. In any of the expiration reminder messages, click Convert, and then follow the steps in the conversion process, below.
    2. At any time during the trial period (or even after the trial has expired), you can open any of the Microsoft Office System products, and in the Help menu: click "Activate your software".
    After the trial period expires:
The software goes into reduced functionality mode. Some of the limitations of reduced functionality mode include the following:
    - You can not create any new files.
    - You can view existing files, but you can not modify them.
    - You can print files, but you can not save them.

  • Artifact for Office Picture Manager after install of Office Pro Plus 2013

Upgrading from Office 2003 to Office 2013, with the assumption that the Office 2013 install first removes all previous versions before installing.
For some users, running Windows 7, with Microsoft Office 2003 SP3 and the 2007 compatibility pack installed, after the Office 2013 Pro Plus installer runs, whenever an Office 2013 Access application is launched the user gets a message box  as shown
below.  None of our Access VBA have Office Picture Manager in the reference list, so it should not be an issue caused by any Access applications.
Since the Office Picture Manager is no longer part of Microsoft Office as of Office 2013, this is a problem.  Several workarounds have been posted on several blogs on the Internet for installing Office Picture Manager from an earlier version on a computer
with Office 2013 installed to eliminate the error, which of course assumes that it is desireable to have Office Picture Manager.
My position is that there should be a fix for the orphaned artifacts calling for Office Picture Manager when launching Office 2013 MS Access, that does not involve the installation of a deprecated product.  Multiple searches of TechNet come up empty
    in that regard.
Is there a fix for this issue forthcoming, or does anyone have an answer that does not involve installing a backrevved Office Picture Manager just to make the error message shut up?
Clean install of the OS is not to be considered a solution.  There are too many computers involved to even consider that to be acceptable.  I would rather have a registry cleanup script that could be pushed through GPO than to have to go to each
computer and run a FixIt, so please try not to push the FixIt option either...
    Thanks!

Always, the in-place upgrade doesn't remove all traces of Office 2003 from your computer, and this will cause unexpected issues for the new Office.
Actually, instead of doing a in-place upgrade, you can perform an
uninstall-upgrade to Office 2013. When uninstall the old version of Office 2003, you can make sure to remove any traces, and then install the new Office 2013.
For how to do an uninstall-upgrade, you can refer to this blog post:

  • After Install of Office Pro 2013 Plus from downloaded iso file Outlook can't find any outlook.pst

Have just installed  - apparently error-free - Office 2013Pro Plus. Can't open Outlook because it's missing the dataset C:\users\xyz...\documents\outlook-data\OUTLOOK.PST.
There is NO outlook.pst on the entire computer, in other words it seems that the install didn't create any.
An attempted "repair" in System control worked fine, but didn't handle the outlook.pst issue.
Any idea what to do? Many thanks and kind regards
    Happy 2014!

Was this a fresh installation or a re-install / recovery, as on a fresh install there wouldn't already be a .pst configured until you'd done the initial account setup process and configured a mailbox. If it's a fresh install are you sure it's a legitimate
    installation?
When you first start Outlook you should be presented with the account setup wizard, which then configures your first account and creates any required data files for your mailbox.
If that's already been done but isn't working, the simplest thing to try initially is to remove the configured profile(s) from Outlook and then start from fresh. Run "Mail (32-bit)" and on the window that appears click Show Profiles. Remove any and all profiles
listed on that screen, and then click OK. Now open Outlook again and since there's no profiles configured you should be taken to the initial setup wizard where you can configure the mailbox and the relevant files will be created.

  • Outlook Pro 2007 'Non-Commercial Use Only' issue

I have outlook 2007 that states that it is for 'non-commercial use only'
I have searched far and wide for the answer but to find nothing.
There was no upgrade from 2003/home/student. Just straight OS load, Office Pro 2007 load. They did tell me that after 'something' happened it started to show that. So it has been not showing that for months, maybe years, until about 2 months ago. They can't
tell me what that 'something' was because they can't remember.
It seems to me that the only way is to reload the PC completely. We are running a KMS and in a company of 1500 PCs about 3% are having this issue. Very small but enough for me to get a call about it.
    Please dont tell me:
    That I had Home&Student - I dont
    To do repairs/uninstall/reinstall - I have 30x
To do reg edits - Reg shows that the Product ID is correct and there are no 9.0/11.0 containers
To deal with it - We have programs that use Outlook and are affected
Tp check updates - Uninstalled as far back as they can remember when it started (2012)
    Don't link this:  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2020690/en-us
Sorry about being kind of straight forward and mean but I'm bashing my head trying to figure this out. I rather not reload 40+ PC just for this issue.

    Who are "they"?
Have you verified that the correct key has been used, the Office client can renew the key via the KMS, sufficient keys/licenses are available on the KMS (depending on your licensing method) and that no unlicensed Office 2007 components are installed?
You can use the "cscript ospp.vbs" commands to further narrow things down.
    For instance with:
    cscript ospp.vbs –act
    cscript ospp.vbs –dhistory
Also note that SP3 and later updated haven't been applied yet.

  • Is Adobe Acrobat 9.5.5 Incompatible With Microsoft Office Pro 2013?

I have Adobe Acrobat 9.5.5 and recently upgraded from Microsoft Office Pro 2007 to 2013. I no longer have the option to save e-mails to PDF format. When I go into Outlook> File> Options> Add-Ins> Manage COM Add-Ins and place a check mark next to PDFM Outlook, I get "Load Behavior: Not loaded. A run time error occurred during the loading of the COM add-in." Does this indicate that Acrobat 9.5.5 is not compatible with Office Pro 2013?

    Hi there p-eleven,
Support for Office 2013 was first added with the Acrobat 11.0.1 update. Please see http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/kb/compatible-web-browsers-pdfmaker-applications.html

  • Re-activate Office Ultimate 2007 On Secondary Computer

My Microsoft License Agreement allows me to install my Office Ultimate 2007 software onto a secondary computer (laptop).
My hard-drive on my secondary computer crashed, and has subsequently been destroyed for security reasons.
I was unable to de-activate Office Ultimate 2007 from my secondary computer (laptop) in order that I may transfer it onto a new secondary computer (new laptop).
    Can You Help?

    Hi,
just try installing and activating on the repaired computer.
(there isn't really a de-activation process, as such)
If Office won't activate, you may need to perform telephone-assisted-activation.

  • Error 25004 Office Pro Windows8

Trying to install 2013 Office Pro Plus on a new Win 8 machine, on which a trial version of Office Home comes, but has not been activated.
I get error 25004 telling me I cannot install this machine
Do I need to completely uninstall the trail version to install the Pro version?

    Hi,
Is the complete error information like this “Error 25004. The product key you entered cannot be used on this machine. This is most likely due to previous Office 2013 trials being installed. (System error: -1073422308)”?
If so, you need to uninstall Office 2013 trial version from Control Panel > Programs and Features.

    Hope it can be helpful.

  • I have Microsoft Office 2011 Student Edition installed on MacBook Pro; Can I install Microsoft Office Windows 2008 onto Mac without deleting Microsoft Office 2011?

I have previously installed Microsoft Office Student Edition 2011 on my MacBook Pro.  While installing Microsoft Office 2008 Windows; message prompts to delete Microsoft Office 2011.  Is there a way around this issue?

Office 2008 was a Mac version. The equvalent Win version is 2007. So there is no "Office 2008 Windows." Which version are your trying to install?
Are you using Boot Camp to run Win on your MBP and want to install Office for Win there? I can't see that being a problem..
I do know that the regular version of Office Mac won't run properly if the trial version is present. The installer is set up to look for other versions, resumably to keep the trial version and the regualr from clashing.
Office Mac 2011 is equiv to Office for Win 2010
    Office Mac 2008   "    "     " Office for Win 2007
    Office Mac 2004   "    "     " Office for Win 2003

I am going to buy either a Mac Air or Mac Pro Retina 8GB RAM and 256GB. And as I have to still run Windows programs I will install Parallels 9. As the Mac are both 64bit machines does that mean I need to install Windows 7 64bit or just install 32 bit? (Going with Win7 as I hate Win8). And I will install Office Pro 2013 64 bit too or 32 bit or is that automatically selected by the underlying OS (I use Word, Excel and Access mainly for a membership database of a local club) ? I am not a power user so would appreciate advice on way to go

Again thank you.  If I only use word, excel and access in the Win environment and Mac OS for email and safari for internet do I need anti virus software . Ie my connection to the world is mac only and I use office pro only to ruin the club, newsletters, membership database etc. and of course anything I do there can drag/drop to the mac environ to email.  That's my understanding anyway.  Next will my existing .pst file copy directly into mac mail or do I have to runs translator  as I recall reading something about that ages ago when I started thinking Mac
