http://nonbaohiem.asia/content/mubaohiem.html
In my laptop virus alert wallpaper is displaying and System security 2009 automatically installed.
System security 2009 showing that my laptop is infected with virus it ask me to scan after scan it showing many viruses.
When i try to clean all virus it ask me to activate the system security 2009.
I am using Mcafee virus scan it has catched some Fake Trojan virus.
Now macfee also infected. On access scan has been disabled automatically.

Hi
Im using Avira antivirus software.
This software is for free and great
I think you should remove the Mcaffe from the system.
Then install the Avira antivirus software and update it to latest date
Then perform an full system scan which should help to remove the viruses, Trojans and other garbage from the system.

  • Security Update automatically installed?

My "Update" reminder on my Mac (OS 10.9.5) just stated that a Security Update had been installed on my computer.  I did not do this manually.
I then went to the Apple pull-down for Software Update.  It said that the last security update was installed on November 28, 2014, which is consistent with the log that I keep concerning my computer.
What is going on?  Should I be worried?  (I changed my Apple ID password shortly before this message appeared).

If the Security update is installed, you may find it under installations,
Click  in the menu bar.

  • Lightspeed Systems Security Agent

Has anyone tried to use CS4 while a Lightspeed Systems Security Agent is installed on their computer?
Still experiencing problems with freeze ups and other computer hardware problems and I'm convinced the school's security is at least part of the problem.
Resource issues are also a likely culprit.
    2g RAM
50g on one network drive for storage
and maybe 25g for storage on the computer's C drive.
Thoughts, suggestions, reasons not to throw the computer under my SUV?

OK. Forgive me for not including more....and I sincerely hope this isn't information overload...but I thought the more info the better….
    Some Background…
    We have 8 Computer/Editors each with CS4.
We use one particular computer for the CS4 for daily morning announcements, it’s used for only that during only one class period a day.
We import directly from the camcorder (Panasonic PV-GS200) on a Firewire to the computer (tapeless) and then edit on CS4.
We then export the finished video timeline to a ½” tape to be played on our Channel One system (school wide)
Although, the computer has 3 IEEE ports, we have to disconnect the Firewire from the camcorder and plug it into the VCR b/c otherwise the computer won’t “see” both the camcorder and the VCR if they are both plugged in..(sometimes it never sees the VCR at all- more on that later)
We occasionally have to move files from editor to editor.  Which is done i.e. by exporting media from Computer A to an Iomega external hard drive then move the file from the Iomega to Computer B)
The computers are Dells – purchased new last year – 2g RAM.
The have local profiles (b/c apparently CS4 will not work with a roaming profile)
On each computer we have access to a network drive (E:)  that has 50g of storage space.  On the E drive we have created and Assets folder that holds a one folder for Audio, one for Video, one for Graphics, and one for Projects.  On the E drive, we also created a "Projects" folder, and one for "Scratch Disk".
When each student logs in he/she has access to an H drive - which has very limited space (not sure exactly how much.)  It apparently is where Adobe automatically put the file folders "Adobe Media Encoder" (>"4.0" folder >Plug in loading log) a "Premier Pro" folder (w/a "4.0" folder w/"Archived Layouts", "Layouts", "Styles" folders) and a "Resource Central" folder (w/ "4.0" folder w/ ResourceCentral.db)
If the students are logged in under their settings – they can’t “right click” anything and can’t call up the Task Manager.  Because of problems, I generally log in under my settings so I can at least get to the Task Manager.
When we open a new project...we go to settings - and under Scratch Disks tab>
Captured Video = Video Folder on E drive,
Captured Audio = Audio folder on E drive,
Video & Audio Previews is set to Scratch Disk folder on E drive.
Under projects location we set it to Projects folder on the E drive.
****However, every time we try to create a project we get a warning that says
"The Scratch Disks are write protected or unavailable.  To open this project, the scratch disks will be set to your My Documents folder. Would you like to continue?"
We hit ok and go on….
The problems vary from one end of the spectrum to the other……nothing seems to be a constant factor.
Often the software freezes, cursor will move, but nothing else – there does NOT seem to be any specific thing being done on the software that sets it off.
Many times the computer will not see the camcorder when IEEE is plugged into it.
The computer will also freeze up when open the drives to move asset files from the external drive to the Networks E drive.
After recording the announcement into the computer and editing it….we often have a very difficult time getting the computer to recognize the VCR.  We’ve tried different cables, different IEEE ports, even different VCRs, restarted the computer, turned the VCR off and on…..no luck.
Many times when we can not get the computer to respond, or even the Task Manager to shut down the computer, we do a hard shutdown.  When we do we often get the warning window -  “tfswctrl.exe not responding, click to end program”
I’m by no means a computer genius but it sounds like to me (and at least one person in our technology department) that we don’t have enough of RAM, HDD space, or both.
The fact that our files are spread out on 2 network drives and the computer's C drive, does not sound like a good thing to me - but maybe it should still work.
If it helps I can list other programs loaded on the computer, but generally we try not to open anything else while working on the announcements.
Any questions, answers, suggestions, “Hey stupid, this is what’s wrong” statements are all welcome!
Thanks for any and all help.

  • 'System Security' Malware help, please! Installed Verizon security suite, now it's back again.

We received the System Security malware on our computer.  We thought we removed it completely because initially the malware prevented the Verizon security suite from running.
After we deleted the virus and the program attached, we were able to install the Verizon Internet Security suite. Lo and behold, two hours later (after a successful complete scan) the malware was back with NO warning from Verizon Security Suite.
Can someone please tell me how to remove this malicious program and also why the security suite gave no warning before it re-attached itself to our computer?
Any help is greatly appreciated, as our laptop is heavily used and we do not have the money or the time to have it completely wiped clean.
    Thank you!!

its really dependant on what type of malware is installed.
if u can get the exact name of it ... it should be something like name.malware .. something like that
do a google for "remove name.malware " or whatever the name of it is, and chances are the first 3 responses will be how to remove it
keep in mind that ABSOLUTELY NO VIRUS PROTECTION ON EARTH EVER , can protect you from every single virus/malware ... things change too fast for everythign to keep up 100% of the time

We have tried F8...........Repeatedly . And also  Run->msconfig->BOOT.INI->/SAFEBOOT . But to no avail . Actually we get a pop up stating that Windows  can not find said command and have we typed it in correctly . Please could some one help us as this is driving us insane . One last thing . A computer WITHOUT a "safe mode " option, isn't that kinda of unsafe and a tad.....
    Thanks in advance.

Thanks for trying to help. Sadly, I followed the instructions and it rebooted to the blue screen again.
It's going to have to go to Apple for repairs now. I'm out of options.
I am wondering how much easier it would have been if I'd created a time machine restore point. I got what I deserved for failing to do that, but I'm doubtful even that would have worked in this case. It does seem to be because of that piece of widely reported malware that didn't want to leave without causing damage.
The most frustrating aspect is the safe boot. I get to the desktop but without any menu, finder or dock. It seems to be similar to the problem below...
    http://www.macsmarts.com/?p=109
But that's for Tiger. I tried that to no effect.
Like I said, it's going to have to go to Apple now because I've done so many things I don't know if I'm just digging myself a deeper hole.
    Thanks again for offering help.

  • Kaspersky Internet Security 2009!

I am on 076876A ( almost two-years n five-months )...Incidentally had to 'Rescue and Recovery' the Windows XP sp2 OS from hidden partition by pressing Lenovo Care button!...Deleted the demo-Norton Internet Security 2005 ( antispyware edition ) using Norton Removal Tool...
Tried Installing and Activating Kaspersky Internet Security 2009 thrice!...but somehow failed each-time...Upon re-booting the system once the said Installation was over, the message displayed on the top right of the Windows welcome screen - Protected by Kasperky, disappears each time...
The 'K' icon on the notification area gets blacked-out ( once even after updating the virus signatures and subsequent reboot ) followed by the Windows Warning that the system wasn't protected by the said anti-virus software...
Are there non-compatibility issues with 076876A's Windows XP sp2 OS that cause Kasperky Internet Security 2009 to be disabled during  Installation and Online-Activation?...( Incidentally Kaspersky  lets just 3 attempts to activate the said software...I have exhausted the limit without even exercising my paid-rights to run the OS protected by KIS 2009! )...
    Do advise!...Thanking You in advance!

I browsed several boards and a huge set of websites but did find anything related.

At the first time yes, because i'm using an extra raid controller. That's because the environment 'boot-device' has to be set to a value different than 'disk'.
At the end of the jumpstart installation i have to type 'init 6' for reboot manually and the environment 'boot-device' has its default value. Thats why the server isn't boot and fall back to net boot.

  • "a new security update was installed on your Mac"

I was using my Macbook Pro this morning, and the update bar came up on the right top screen, so I said "remind me tomorrow".
Less than a minute later, a box popped up in the same place which says "Security Update Installed A new security update was installed on your Mac"
I am submitting the question because I haven't had this message before, nor did I authorize an update this morning.
Is this malware or a new service in OS X Yosemite 10.10.1?
Also, when I tried logging into the apple forums using my keycode and password, it said my account is locked for security reasons.  I logged in the old fashioned way, typing my information and got in.
    Thank you!

It is possible that  the recent security update was installed automatically.
You can verify it. If the info is as shown below, there is nothing to worry.
Click  in the menu bar.

  • SAP system doesn't automatically start after restart (but manual start ok)

    Hi,
We've got a new production line of SAP EP 7.0 systems, which have CI on HP-UX and DIs on windows. The version is NW2004s SPS09.
What we see is that after a restart of the windows servers (usually because of windows patching), the SAP system doesn't automatically start up. It doesn't start up if I restart the SAP<SID>_<instance> service either.
However, I've got no problem starting the system with the MMC.
Any idea what I am missing here? is it as simple as a profile parameter ?
As far as I can see the profile used seem ok.
After a restart of the windows server the following files have log entries in the c:\usr\sap\<SID>\J<instance>\work folder
    sapstartsrv.log
trc file: "sapstartsrv.log", trc level: 0, release: "700"

    (at the same time)
Failed to update service environment from user (STATOIL-NET\<sid>adm) environment. [ntservmgr.cpp 201]
(note that this doesn't happen for all systems which have this problem, for other there is no entry like this)
I see no failed login attemps in the security event log, but see the that a login is performed for SAPService<SID>.
Since it also fails to automatically startup when I restart the service, I am able to use filemon to see what happens at a file level. Here I see that it can access the shared file system without any problems, and can read the profile and everything.
MOM is running on the server and gets some Access denied errors since it doesn't have access to the shared file system, but I don't think that matters.
    Cheers

  • After upgrading to Firefox 36.0.4, it automatically installed noscript

After upgrading to Firefox 36.0.4, it removes all my existing add-on extension.
In addition, "noscript" was automatically installed and there is no way to remove it.
The "noscript" add-on does not show up in any of the add-on extension for me to disable/remove it.
I even tried adding noscript from the add-on so that the noscript add-on shows up in the
firefox extension page so that I could remove it but that does not remove the
original noscript that comes with Firefox 36.0.4
Hopefully there is a way for user to remove this and it is not part of Firefox 36.0.4.
At least allow user the options of using it or remove it.

*Download the full Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop<br>https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/
If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.

  • System Update 3.14 install fails on action: SetVendorValue

    Hi, folks:
I'm attempting to install System Update 3.14 for the first time on a 2004-vintage ThinkPad T42 type 2379-DXU. The immediate failure appears to be that the action "SetVendorValue" fails. I'm not sure what the underlying cause is. The installation terminates with an alert that installation failed and the system is unchanged; but in fact the System Update application is installed and there's an icon in my Start menu. When I try to run System Update, it displays an error message in front of the splash screen and quits.
Details and log excerpts below. Can anyone figure out why the install is failing? How can I get the install to succeed and the System Update app to run successfully? Thanks in advance for any ideas.
In the meantime, I'm going to try downloading individual drivers manually, to solve my underlying problem. But I'd sure like to have System Update on my side in the future.
    --Jim DeLaHunt, Vancouver, Canada
     Details* run the installer "systemupdate314-2008-5-15.exe".
    * installation proceeds through several steps. Shortly after the "Writing vendor value" status message appears, the installation fails with an error alert saying that that installer cannot complete and the system is unchanged.
    * in fact, there is now a c:\Program Files\Lenovo\System Update\ folder, and a System Update icon under Start menu -> All Programs -> ThinkVantage -> System Update.
    * clicking the System Update icon in the start menu causes the program to launch and fail. The splash screen appears, then an alert "System Update could not start properly [OK]". Clicking [OK] causes the program to exit.

Well, the problem is solved, and System Update is installed and working.
The root cause of the problem appeared to be that the registry directory HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE no longer extended "full control" permission to the Administrators user group on my machine. We fixed this by using regedit:
    Start... Run... regedit....
    select directory HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE, right-click, Permissions...,
    press Add... button
enter SYSNAME\Administrators in the text area (SYSNAME is a placeholder for my actual machine name)
    OK... OK...
    Quit regedit
We diagnosed the problem with the help of IT support from our employer. The problem was blocking installation of new anti-virus software. We had just removed old anti-virus and "internet security" software. Hmm, I wonder if the old security software removed this permission setting as a parting gift.
Hope this is helpful for others who encounter the same symptoms.

  • Can I maually check for updates but prevent them from being automatically installed if it turns out one is available?

Can I maually check for updates but prevent them from being automatically installed if it turns out one is available?
    Background:
In options I have "check for updates, but let me choose whether to install them" ticked. This works fine, in that I periodically receive a notice of an available update, and it will ask me whether I want to I want to install it.
But there are certain times -- for reasons I won't go into here (unless requested as part of seeking a solution) -- where I want to manually check for new versions, but RETAIN the ability to decide whether or not to install it. But if I click Help/About Firefox/Check for Updates, and it finds an update, it will immediately proceed to install it without asking for permission. While that seems quite inconsistent with my update preferences in Options, it is apparently normal behavior as described in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/update-firefox-latest-version#w_how-do-i-manually-check-for-updates.
So is there any way I can manually check for new-update availability but then refuse the update if I so choose? Once an unwanted install begins, I'm concerned that if I click cancel I could end up with a partial installation or some "messed up," duplicated or corrupted FF files (e.g., multiple versions appended with (1), (2) etc, similar to what sometimes confusingly happens when I do an XP System Restore).
    Thanks.

I think what needs to be made very clear here is that when a user clicks on "check for updates" the software should bloody well CHECK for updates and most certainly SHOULD NOT proceed to download and apply any updates. this is misleading and intrusive.
I just wanted to check if there was an updated version but I DID NOT want to actually update at that moment. the software downloaded data, costing me money and tried to apply the update which could have potentially messed up my settings if I had not checked everything was ok first.
I actually discovered how to prevent the update by searching through windows and manually deleting the files but why should anyone have to go to such lengths?
the software should simply do as it is asked, not do things that have most certainly not been asked.

    Yes Vivek.
We did run Foundation Service --> Configure Web Server after configuring HFM module. It was susccessful.
After that we run "Start EPM System". Then everything stopped.
While installing HFM in 2nd leg on "Configure Database" screen we selected "Perform first-time configuration of database".
    Entered username HFM.
We noticed that after installation EPMSystemRegistry-jdbc got changed.
    Path is C:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\domains\EPMSystem\config\jdbc\EPMSystemRegistry-jdbc.xml
    <value>HSS</value> got changed to <value>HFM</value>
I are not sure but I think we should have selected "Connect to a previously configured database".
I am going to install it again and will update the forum.

  • Reader will not automatically install updates on Windows 7

I have looked through the forums and have not seen this exact symptom mentioned:
"Automatically install updates" does not seem to work correctly on Windows 7. The updates download and I see the "update is ready to install" bubble in the system tray repeatedly. However, the updates never seem to install. I've seen this on more than one Windows 7 machine (it works ok on XP). I suppose this could be something particular to our environment, but I'm at a bit of a loss as to where to look next. Leaving the system "idle" does not seem to help and the behavior does persist after a reboot.
(I'm running Process Monitor right now and see AdobeARM.exe occasionally and successfully creating and exiting a thread, but not touching any files or registry entries.)
I enabled this setting via the registry -
    [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Adobe\Adobe ARM\1.0\ARM]
    "iCheck"=dword:00000003
    - and can see in the GUI that it has taken effect.
I do see some files in this directory - does this look correct?

Any suggestions appreciated. Thanks - Andy

Some additional information. I'm seeing "GetLastError(): 0x2 - The system cannot find the file specified" in c:\users\(me)\appdata\local\temp\AdobeARM.log. But even using Process Monitor, it's not clear to me which file cannot be found.
Still seems to me that updater is downloading the update but never trying to apply it. The most recent thing I have tried is to quit AdobeARM gracefully and restart it. That does seem to have reduced the number of subdirectories in C:\ProgramData\Adobe\Reader\9.3\ARM\ to only one (previously there had been one subdirectory per run).
    Thanks for any suggestions -
