Read how I got treated by Verizon [New Customer]

Hey guys I am Verizon member since about 2 months I love the service , the fast data , pretty much everything until today.
I have 4 Lines on my account. The bill for the 4 lines was 577$ which is huge which was paid off but thats not point.
Today about 3 PM my service was suspended ... apparently because of possible fraud? what the hell?
From what it looks like I ordered my Galaxy Nexus from Newegg.com I had a discount with it and the person who at newegg created my account messed up with the social security number , he put my name on the Account & Billing and it was not suppose to be like that my name was only suppose to be for shipping , so question is how for 2 months it was just fine? how did that even happen?. So I went to corporate store today and I had to FAX all my information
ID,Social,Utility bill from ME and my mother which is her social which was messed up on the account [and my name put under it].
But what I really hate that no one from VERIZON never ever called me if I knew I would go next to corporate store and fix it asap...
I would at least want credit for the interruption of service from Verizon.
Please let me know what you guys think of this. At this time I am without a service for whole day [all 4 lines] because I was not informed.

Your best bet is to file a complaint with the BBB. Verizon, someone with a bit of authority, will be calling you for a resolution. I've resorted to calling the BBB for any services I use because frankly, customer service in every industry has become almost nonexistent.

    Which version of photoshop are you using?
    After you define a custom pattern it should be added to the bottom of whatever patterns are already loaded.
    For example, if you define a custom pattern and then go to Edit>Fill>Pattern, the newly defined pattern should have been added to the existing loaded patterns.

  • Extreamly Unhappy How I was treated by Verizon Customer service supervisor

    My father recently passed away from lung CA back in August. I called Verizon in August about a week after he passed to find out if I can disconnect the service, at that time I asked the customer service rep if I can port the number to a google voice account, just in-case if someone we didnt call to let them know he passed ended up calling his phone this way it can be forwarded to my phone. I asked the rep if it was possible to do this with out paying an ETF. She said she spoke with her supervisor and that go ahead port the number and the following day she will check the account to see if it was ported and issue a credit. Well of course the invoice came and we did not get any credit. Which I understand sometimes, people forget to do something the next day or whatever the case may be. I called when I got the bill and the customer service rep understood the situation and said she will issue the credit. I asked her when will it post, she said as soon as we get off the phone you will be able to log in and see the credit. We got off the phone and figured that I did not need to look to see if the credit was on the account. The next day I log in and and see the credit didnt post. This is where my trouble started, the rep on the phone said its against company policy to issue credit for this matter. I told her that I understand what you are saying to me but I feel like I did my due diligence by calling prior to making the port and even the previous day. How many people do I need to call to make sure I am given the correct information. I feel that if I call someone that represents the company that they are providing me the correct information. All of a sudden now its company policy. That is fine with me, I asked to speak to her supervisor who was absolutely nasty, no remorse, no concern, not a care in the world, just very bad business. She told me her higher level supervisor will give me a call back and I told her I bet you that they wont and of course no one has called.I would love to write a letter to the company about her but its seems like its impossible to have someone at Verizon actually listen to the call back. After 10 years of being a customer and only calling customer service to upgrade my phone. I know exactly what I will be doing the next time my upgrade comes. Taking my $300 MRC bill somewhere else.

    Comcast offers these great deals to new customers, but won't do anything to try to retain loyal customers who are sick of their bills increasing. Right now I am paying $30 more per month for internet only than a new customer would pay for the same internet speed, plus local channels and HBO. Customer service won't do anything to help, other than offer to downgrade my internet speed. How long do I have to not be a customer to be treated the way they treat new customers?

    hi,
    are you using smartform or script for printing ?
    write the condition in program lines using the control commands ie on change of customer.
    Take separete window for logo and print that in the first page so that if the customer data extend as to next page logo window will not appear in the next window.
    and is there any table maintained for logos and customer details. if its maintained it would be easy to put the condition in the print program itself or else you can hadle it in the form.

  • How do I completely enable a new custom asset in Correspondence Management?

    Hello!
    I'm trying to add a new custom asset to the Correspondence Management Solution Accelerator, and have it behave like all other assets in the system (ie searchable, updateable etc).  I'm almost there, but there's obviously something I'm missing, and I was hoping someone here might have done this before, or have a link to some documentation regarding the matter that I may have missed.  The asset I'm trying finish creating is for a LiveCycle user in a specific domain.  This is what I've done so far...
    I've created the asset definition MyUser.fml and placed it in the FSIApp\Portal\webapp\WEB-INF\assetDefinitions folder.  I've then registered this fml file in the spring-config.xml file in both the 'lc.cm.assetDefinitionsDeployer' and 'lc.cm.assetTypeRegistryBootstrapper' beans.  In the 'lc.cm.assetTypeRegistryBootstrapper' bean, I set the key to 'MyUser', and the value to the class path of my Java class that represents this asset.
    On the Java side I've created the MyUser.java class, as well as MyUserService.java and MyUserServiceImpl.java to allow the searching, updating etc of the MyUser assets.
    After running the Bootstrap process, I can log into the Manage Templates application, select Data Dictionaries from the 'View' dropdown, and view/edit the MyUser data dictionary properties with no problems.  So I'm happy that the asset has successfully been registered with the application.
    Where I'm stuck is choosing the MyUser asset from the drop down, and searching the system for assets of that type.  I can choose the MyUser asset type from the 'view' drop down, but the search result returns an empty array.
    From digging into the existing Manage Templates code, I've created the following classes:
    public interface IMyUserService extends IEventDispatcher -  containing the following function definitions:
              function getMyUser(id:String):IAsyncToken;
              function getAllMyUsers(param1:Query=null):IAsyncToken;
    public class MyUserSeviceProvider extends ServiceProvider - containing a getter/setter for MyUserServiceDelegate
    public class MyUserServiceDelegate extends ServiceDelegate implements IMyUserService - containing the functions defined in IMyUserService, as well as creating the RemoteObject to perform the actions.
    The MyUserServiceDelegate constructor is:

    Above my Java class definition of MyUserServiceImpl.java I have the following line:

    So......
    My problem is that when I choose the MyUser asset from the drop down, no search results are returned (an empty array is returned).  I have logging code in the getAllMyUsers function in the MyUserServiceDelegateclass.as, as well as logging in the MyUserServiceImpl.java class (not shown in the above code snippets) and neither of them fire when selecting the MyUser asset from the drop down.  So neither of the classes are being called on the search.  If I force a search via the following line:
    MyUserSeviceProvider.getMyUserService().getAllMyUsers();
    the logging in both the Flex and Java classes works (and the java class returns the results as expected).  So I'm happy that these functions, as well as the linking between the Flex and the Java side is working correctly.
    The step that I can't seem to work out is having the selection of the asset in the drop down call the desired function automagically.  I've been digging into the SearchManager, the ServiceLocator and heaps of other classes, but I'm falling deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole...
    Can anyone shed some light on what they think might be needed to make the final link here?  I've been digging and digging into the code for days now and my brain hurts!!

    By 'not really complete' I'm assuming (hoping) that some work has been done on this already.  Our project requires the use of custom assets, so it's very important that we get this functionality running as soon as possible.

  • New Customer - Have had MISERABLE experience with Verizon service and Customer service

    I am a brand new customer of Verizon Fios and so far I have zero good things to say about it.  If it wasn't for the aggrevation of switching cable companies, I most definitely would go back to Comcast.
    I moved into a new home in the middle of April.  The previous owner had Verizon Fios in this house, so there was minimal installation that had to be done when I initially set up my cable.  My house was pretty much empty at the time, so we had the TV's set up where we had a place to put it (upstairs, kitchen, and living room).  We recently bought bedroom furniture, so we could now move the TV to where we initially wanted it, in our bedroom.  However when we tried to hook it up to an outlet, no picture came though.  This is when my awful experience with verizon customer service (or lack there of) began.
    I took time out of my work day to call Verizon about this problem.  I was on hold for about 30 mins until I actually heard a human's voice.  He was unable to help me since I was not at home to unplug and plug things back in. 
    I called again when I was home, this time I was on hold for about 20 mins (wow)... the first person could not help me, so she transferred me to another department... put on hold for 35 mins.... this perosn couldnt help me either and they transferred me back to the SAME DEPARTMENT I WAS INITIALLY TRANSFERRED FROM.... put on hold for about 45 mins... finally i speak with someone that knows what they are talking about.  Of course I have to go through all the same steps that I did the first time which did not work.  As this person decides I need a technician, he begins to look up available dates... and then after an hour and 35 mins on the phone, it gets disconnected!  I wait for 5 minutes to get a call back but I get NOTHING.  I spent now 2 hours trying to deal with this and verizon doesnt even call me back when its their phone that gets disconnected? Thats terrible.
    I call back after 10 mins and am put on hold right away (obviously).... after 25 mins of being on hold, shocker - the call is disconnected again.
    That was enough for one day
    I call back again the next day... same old thing... put on hold for 30 mins, talk to one person who cant help me, transferred to another department and put on hold for 20 more mins.
    Finally with the tech department who says they are going to schedule a tech to come out to fix the problem but also mentioned they are going to charge me $55 for this! Are you kidding me?????? Verizon wastes about 4 hours of my life and busy day and then has the nerve to say they are going to charge me for it? I asked the person several times if I could speak with a manager or supervisor, they never let me.  I asked multiple times and she just said that they wouldnt be able to help me and that the charge would stick.
    I can't imagine that anyone would treat a brand new customer like this.  I will not recommend Verizon to any one until I see some kind of help or REAL customer service from them.

    I did call them this morning, and still on the phone.
    I will say this - the reps are very friendly and do try to help in earnest.  That's been my experience overall with Verizon.  So in terms of the actual people, I give them an A+.
    In terms of their system and how they process things, they get a big fat F.   The very idea that I sent back a phone with accessories and their warehouse only registered the return of the phone pretty much says that there is something fishy going on there at the warehouse.   And it took an hour to sort this out so far and counting.
    The thing that bugs me about Verizon is how complicated it is to get everything straightened out.  
    Right now, they are trying to sort out the activation fee - I already have been charged one and now they are trying to figure out if i have to pay another one.   Another 15 minutes just on that.
    Everything has been resolved.   Thankfully, Verizon's saving grace is that their reps are nice people.

    For your reference I’m using a MacBook Pro running 10.5.8.  Several weeks ago on a Monday I received an upgrade for iTunes. When Tuesday arrived I attempted to log in so that I could download the latest freebie song(s).  I was met w/this message: “The file ‘iTunes Library.itl’ cannot be read because it was created by a newer version of iTunes.”
    The music/video files are still on my Mac (I’ve verified that via Searchlight), but I’m unable to open the program.  Since I know that 10.5.8 is rapidly becoming prehistoric, could it be that the newest iTunes isn’t compatible w/this particular OS?  I’d like to switch up, but understand that the newest OS won’t work on a Mac of this vintage (6 years old).  In addition, my Adobe products (all CS2) won’t work w/anything newer than 10.5.8, so I’m reluctant to go to a newer OS (I just can’t afford the Adobe upgrade $$$ @ this point). 
    Is there any way to get a download of an “old” iTunes version?  If there were, I’d simply refuse any future upgrades until my personal economy allows me to stop working as if it were 2006.  Please advise, somebody!

    I don't know how you received an upgrade for iTunes.  You make it sound like it was sent to you.  At most your computer will tell you of a new version and you tell it to download it and install it.  However, a computer will not do this for a version which is incompatible.  iTunes 10.7 came out a few weeks ago but your computer would not notify you and even if it did, 10.7 would refuse to install on your computer.  So this part isn't making a lot of sense.
    Two ways to get the 'newer version' message.  One is to open your library on a computer running a newer version, and then try to open it with an older version.  Usually happens when the library is on an external and used with multiple computers.  The second way is if you have multiple versions of itunes installed on your computer.
    The newest (and likely the last) iTunes for OSX 10.5.8 is iTunes 10.6.3 which has been out for quite a while.

    I have an up to date version of Aperture on my Mac Pro, and I would like to install it on my new Mac book Pro. I have the original installation disks for Aperture 1 and 2. I cant remember how I got to Aperture 3, I think it was via a web download but not sure. I have checked my purchases in the App Store but there is no indication of me buying an upgrade to Aperture 3.
    Ive tried to download it from the App Store but it wants me to pay again.
    Can anyone help on how to install Aperture 3 on my new Macbook .

    Then you can download the Trial version of Aperture 3 and unlock it with your serial numbers - you will need all three for all three versions: A current link to the Trial version is in this support document, also instructions on how to reinstall on different systems:

    BTW: Your Aperture 3 serial number will be displayed in the "About" panel - the panel you see, when you use the command "About Aperture" from the Aperture menu in the main menu bar.

    The right way is to restore the backup that you kept of your old computer onto your new one. If it is too late for that before you do anything set up a backup process for the new one so when it crashes (note I said "when", not "if") you won't be faced with this problem again.
    In lieu of that the apps already mentioned will help you get content off the phone if it was not purchased from iTunes. But it it WAS purchased from iTunes just connect the phone to your new computer, Authorize iTunes on the new computer and choose "Transfer Purchases" from the iTunes file menu.

    Welcome to the Apple community.
    You need to use the Apple IDs that you created for them for iCloud as well as iTunes. You will also find that you need to use them for messages and face time.

    Upgrade iTunes to the latest version. It should be 10.5.3.
