Read informations by mySql DB in AS3

Hi, I have to develop an iOS application able to read "news" by an existent mySql DB on my customer's web site.
Is there a way to do this in AS3?
I didn't wrote that DB, but I've got these informations:
Served Address; 33.222.1.000
DB: myDbName
User Login: brandon
Password: *******
I never used DBs in my personal works, then I don't know how to implement my code to communicate (read only) with my customer's web site database.

With remote database you cannot access it directly with AS3. You need to write server side code that will query database and translate results into a structure that is understood by your code (XML, JSON, etc.).
Server side programming is out of the scope of this forum.

Yes it sounds like your application could be corrupt.
First I would make sure you don't have a program like backup software or virus protection trying to read the files when you try to start the application. If not,
Do you have any backups or data exports? If so, I would try to restore them for the application
If you do what EsbHelper suggests, you will have to recreate the database. I think he is missing a few steps.
If you are going to try to recreate the application, you need to copy your outline rules files calc scripts and report scritps (.otl, CSC, REP and rul files) to s saved directory.
If you delete the directory using the file system, you orphan things in the security file. It's better to try to do it from EAS.
Once it has been deleted, and recreated from EAS, then copy back in the objects. You will have everything but data and security. those will have to be recreated.
As aI said first, the best way to do this is from some sort of backup. othersiwe it can get a bit messy

Is it possible to read information off the desktop and send it to java ?

Hello. I am wondering if it's possible with Java to read information off the
screen and send it to a java listener to be interpreted.
information such as comparable images (ie images that you can match with an
image you already posess in order to classify it) or simply text.. or colors
ie could I say for exemple be "listening" at a certain coordinate say 560x76

or I could be listening for any changes in a small box and whenever that are

1456 the remote management agent is unable to read information from edirectory

I have novell 6.5 sp6 and Zfd 7sp1.
From consoleOne I can done the action "remote control" when the
workstation is already turn on.
I can do the "remote wakeup" but after I can't do the login. I can't see
the window novell login.
When the machine is up I have tried to do the action "remote control" but
I have this error:
1456 the remote management agent is unable to read information from
eDirectory.verify the workstation object is valid and the middle tier
server is up and running.
Into the event log I have seen this (under application):

invalid NDS authentication informatiom.

Padlock icon on the window "read informations".

I can't find the padlock icon on the window "read informations" of my disk, because I wanna be able to change and add things on it but I can't. Please help me I'm french and I really need help.
Actually I need to do that:
Apply permissions to all items in a folder or a disk
Select a folder or a disk, then choose File > Get Info.
Click the lock icon to unlock it, then enter an administrator’s name and password.
Choose "Apply to enclosed items" from the Action pop-up menu (looks like a gear).
But I can't do the underlined part.

If this is on an External disk then it is more than likely formatted in the Windows NTFS format and OS X, the Mac operating system, can't Write to that format. It can READ from it but can not write to it.
You will have to reformat it for Mac OS X. You do that ibn Disk Utility. Google Format drive for Mac OS X and you will get a ton of links to tutorials explaining exactly how to do it.

Did you use your latest backup to restore our information after you restored it "as new iphone"? If yes, try to set it up "as new iphone" without using the backup after that. Your backup may contain corrupt files causing your problem.

Help with reading information coming from a software into LabVIEW through Serial port

I am new to LabVIEW and also an amateur in using RS232 for communication. I have this software that has these icons like speed increase/decrease, elevation up/down, start/stop. Now, when I click these buttons on the software, they perform the appropriate functions. For example, if I press start button, the signal must go through a serial COM port into LabVIEW to start the machine. How do I do that? How do I find what format the code word is when I press a button on the software? And how to decode the information to read whether the button pushed is start etc...? Any help would be appreciated.

That information would be in the programming manual for the device you're controlling. Unless you have a device that has no documentation or you cannot get the documentation that's the first place you should look. If you cannot get the documentation at all then you've got some reverse-engineering to do. To do this you will either need a serial port sniffer (a hardware device), or you can try to use a software-based port capturing program. On Windows PortMon is the most prevalent. This will show you how the port was configured (baud rate, stop bits, etc). Warning: the information is technical.
As far as how to get it running in LabVIEW, you should take a look at the serial port communication examples that ship with LabVIEW. The most problems occur in figuring out how to (a) terminate a write command, and (b) determining when to stop reading. For (a) this is typically done by appending a carriage return or linefeed to the command. This is device dependent. For (b) this is usually done by the byte stream ending with a character like a linefeed. Again, this is device-dependent.
You may also want to peruse this KB article: Serial Instrument Control Tutorial. There are also lots of tutorial on the internet for basic tutorials on serial port communication.

Reading information from XML files

I have created a document where the user has the possibility to export a XML-file by clicking on a button.
Is it somehow possible to load this data so I can enter its content back into the document? (maybe by using loadXML()? I could not find any useful help to this method anywhere).

Actually, I am looking for a possibility for every user to save XML code and eventually load it back in without having to download/buy any further programs.
I now had the idea to generate XML code in a textfield when the user clicks on a button. This code can be copied in an extern .txt file so every piece of information can be stored - even if the document is closed. It is also possible to reenter this code into the textfield and click on another button which uses the loadXML() function.
This works pretty good except for images. Saving the rawValue of an image would create hundreds of lines of source code... so now all I need to know is how to keep the information of an image field (It can display multiple images, depending of the users choice).

Reading information of Backend - Purchase Order

We use SRM 5.0 - Clasic escenario
I have a question regarding Confirmation of Purchase orders in SRM.
I understand that in table BBP_PDBEI the number of te Purchase order (and its position) is stored wth which SRM goes to the R/3 Backend to retrieve the necesary information.
With this information, the confirmation can be executed.
I would like to know what Function, BAPI, IDOC, report etc.. SRM is using to retrieve these Purchase order information form the R/3 Backend!

- in the standard we read the general data of the PO with the backend BAPI: BAPI_PO_GETDETAIL.
Backend release:     ->     ...with the SRM Function module:

R/3_4.5B-R/3_4.6C ->    B45A_PO_GETDETAIL
R/3_3.1 ->    B31I_PO_GETDETAIL
- You can find more function modules for the backend PO reading if you search in the table BBP_FUNCTION_MAP with the object 'BUS2012'. Here you will find the function modules to the backend PO.
- For more specific PO data you can use the META_READ_TABLE. With this FM you can access any table of the backend system.

Understanding Statistics io and Logical reads - is logical reads information correct

This question arises during a performance test - on SQL Server 2012 with SP2.
In the following example, table has only column and that is of data type INT.
When inserted 592 records of data type INT it is doing only 1 logical read but as soon another record is inserted SP is reporting 2 logical reads. Why?
In the code, i have highlighted difference between
statistics io - logical reads and sys.dm_exec_procedure_stats.total_logical_reads
to understand the difference between these 2 information.

I still need to test the scenario but if you read definition of this DMV it says 'Returns aggregate performance statistics for cached stored procedures' so I guess, I am not sure 3 can be due to this aggregated output given by this DMV. Will test it
on SS 2012 SP2 will get back to you.

Reading information about XML Schema.

Hi,
I receive the data structure as a Node and based on some logic I create new nodes. Now I found the root node where I need to append by newly created nodes. Since the root folder contains many children I am not sure before which node I need to insert by newly created node for the inputSource to be still schema valid. I can only find that information by reading the XSD schema. Is there some API/objects that can help me out in finding that kind of information or is the only option of parsing the schema through DOM/SAX and figuring out where the newly created node needs to be inserted.

Reading information from multiple arrays efficiently

So I'm trying to make a flash application about number of felonies of different trafic violations from different years, example:
In 2002 there was 9631 drunk drivers, 13481 driving without a license, 9863 speeders and 18862 who broke other laws
In 2003 there was 8593 drunk drivers, 12785 driving without a license, 12217 speeders and 19196 who broke other laws
The list goes on and I've made 5 different arrays, one for year, one for drunk drivers, one for driving without a license,
I call them:

Does there exist an efficient solution for java to get to this information?
