Read Timeout is not working with business service in OSB 11.6

HI All,
We have set below configuration in "Http Transport Configuration" of a business service.
Read Timeout- 8
Connection Timeout - 8
Authentication - None
Proxy Serve
Follow HTTP redirects - Disable
Use Chunked Streaming Mode - Enable
Even though backend is taking more than the configured value in Read Timeout but timeout is not happening in OSB, Connection time out also not worked, when we tested with wrong backend URL.
Any help for this configuration would appreciated.

Hi,
Have you invoked any Services before calling the Business Service.
If Yes, then the problem with the Invoked service.In this scenario even if you set the time out period it will not work..
If No, your request payload is high

Hi all,
I'm playing around with Read-Only entity beans, and I get a problem
with the read-timeout-seconds property. I've set my
weblogic-ejb-jar.xml like this:

The first call to the EJB caches the database record, and subsequent
calls use the cache. My problem: Even if I delete the database record
directly (I know, I shouldn't do that... but like I said, I'm playing
around here... ;)) and wait for more than 60 seconds, the next call to
the bean still returns the same cached entry.
I tried with <idle-timeout-seconds> set to 60, and it doesn't work
neither.
I've seen in previous messages that this problem (or similar) was
fixed in SP4, but I use SP11, so it shouldn't be the problem.

Android Release APK does not work with Mobile Service in Android Studio

I am using Android Studio and i have not been able to get a working release apk. What should my build file look like? Is there anything special that i need to do? The debug works fine but the release never works. Are there any code changes that need to be
made? Do i need to log into azure on the mobile device? Do I need to copy the signed certificate to the device also? Any assistance or suggestion is welcome. Below is a copy of the build file:

I would recommend going with the 2.0 Beta SDK since you are working with Android Studio. The changes from 1.1.5 to 2.0 are documented at http://azure.microsoft.com/blog/2014/08/04/futures-support-and-breaking-changes-in-azure-mobile-services-android-sdk/ and http://azure.microsoft.com/blog/2014/08/07/offline-support-in-azure-mobile-services-android-sdk/ (offline
specific). And we are in the process of publishing the beta SDK to an android repo so it's easily dependable.

RTP not working with Business Rule

I am trying to create a buisness rule that fixes on a member in a custom dimension based on a run time prompt using Calc Manger (11.1.2.2). I created the variable at the cube level, set it to 'Member' and selected the appropriate dimension, and selected RTP. The FIX statement is very simple FIX("Current",{Contract}). The rule validates and deploys with no problem. When running the rule either on form save or through Business Rules I receive the error: "error parsing formula for [FIX STATEMENT] (line 2): invalid object type. If I change the variable to uncheck 'RTP' and place the same member used previously as the Default value the rule runs no problem. Is there any reason why the rule appears to not be able to read in my RTP selection?

Though this is not a calc manager issue, I am sure the member that Planning is picking up is a member that is set tyo dynamic calc.
You cannot use a member that is set to dynamic calc in a fix.

Lock-timeout does not work with Concurrent Data Store

Hello,
If my application (Concurrent Data Store) does not close all locks (e.g. crash, ...), these
locks are never removed. My application sets the following timeout values:
DB_ENV->set_timeout(DB_SET_LOCK_TIMEOUT,60*1000*1000);
DB_ENV->set_lk_detect(DB_LOCK_EXPIRE);
Once a minute:
DB_ENV->lock_detect( 0, DB_LOCK_EXPIRE, NULL );
If a process keeps a lock open, all further processes will be blocked. "db_deadlock"
also does not remove these old locks.

The functions you called are supposed to work when the locking subsystem is enabled, and if you use CDS, you can't startup the locking subsystem. When using CDS, you normally don't have to worry about locks, BDB will take care of locks and make it deadlock free. Have a look at the documentation at http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/api_c/frame.html

The email feature in adobe reader XI does not work with windows 7

When I try to attach a PDF directly to an email from within Reader, my gmail login screen flashes briefly and then disappears without allowing me to enter my password (and therefore will not connect to my webmail/gmail)

Hmmm - I do not even get to the Gmail page; all I get is
...and I do not know where to specify a password for my Gmail account.
I will do some more testing later, but for now I have to go out for a while.

"Like" sql function not working in Business Service

I have created a query with few Joins (Processing around 4-5 tables).It has Two scenarios, One with Equals and the other with Like function.

When There is an Equal Sign after Where clause, The query gives desired output. But when there is a LIKE it does not give any output at all. How can i use this Query using perform operation.

Lock-timeout does not work with

Hello all,
I have a problem with remaining locked records when my application abnormally terminated (crashes, ...).
More specific, I open the db environment and then set_timeout 1000 for DB_SET_TXN_TIMEOUT and 1000 for DB_SET_LOCK_TIMEOUT.
Then I open a transaction and read a record with the DB_RMW flag. At this point my application crashes, without abort or commit the transaction.
After restarting my application and trying to read this specific record, I took the error 30994.
I run the db_deadlock utility with the -ae argument but still this specific record remained lock.
Is there any way to unlock this spcific page?

If your transactional application is crashing are you following the guidelines in the "Handling failure in Transactional Data Store applications" section of the reference guide at:

With transactional applications there are issues to consider if a thread of control (either a thread or process) fails to prevent database environment and database corruption. For example, when a thread of control fails resources maintained by the database environment may be left locked or corrupted. Is your application calling recovery any time a thread of control accessing the database environment fails? You may also find the environment failchk method useful. The DB_ENV->failchk() method will release any database read locks that have been left held by the exit of a thread of control, and abort any unresolved transactions. It will also return DB_RUNRECOVERY if the database environment is unusable as a result of the thread of control failure and then recovery needs to be run.

This is very frustrating! I bought this phone from Wind mobile. I unlocked it and all of my previous settings were intact except for the email. I cannot log in with my blackberry id. I have changed my password and it still says incorrect password. I have also tried to reset my bbid, but it says that this user name is already registered.

The iPhone 4 may not work with a cut down SIM. Get a microSIM from your carrier when you set up service.

Since you have already done some sort of reset on your Airport Express, you might as well make sure it was a "hard reset" - follow the instructions for a hard reset found at:

Since your Mac is running Leopard, you need to configure the Airport Express using the Airport Utility found in the Applictions->Utilities folder. You cannot install the old software that was supplied on the CD you got with the Airport Express.
In future - if you do something bad with network settings on your Mac, do NOT try to fix it with the Airport Utility. The Airport Utility is only used to configure the Airport Express - and since the problem you have created is on the Mac and not the Airport Express, there is no need to be using the Airport Utility and especially there is no need to be resetting the Airport Express.

EPrint does not work with Google Apps for Business (hosted email)

I have looked up numerous posts, from back into 2011 even, and HP still has not resolved this.
HP's ePrint does not work with companies using Google Apps for Business (hosted email).
Our emails come from our domain, but from the servers/DNS of Google, so we wind up getting
the "550 5.7.1 Command Rehected" error.
This is a major issue as more and more companies (especially small business owners) are moving away
from having in-house/Exchange servers, and they are moving toward hosted systems.
You really need to find a way to stop rejecting emails coming from Google Apps hosted email.
It's been around 4 years now (looking at previous posts). Why hasn't HP found a resolution to this yet?

The DefaultFileName directive does not work with apache-webligic bridge

I also had same issues using iPhone 5. Got chance to speak with senior engineers at NTC and they have confirmed 3G equipment they are using is not yet compatible with 3G band that iPhone 5 uses. So technically speaking, iPhone 5 has a hardware that is a generation ahead and not backward compatible to 3G system NTC currently uses.
On a bright side though, they confirmed that NTC is aware of the situation and is soon upgrading its hardware within next 1 or 2 months which will finally support 3G on iPhone 5. The other operator though already has support for this (don't want to mention their name but you know the alternative).
As for me, I'll be waiting for the (super frustrating) NTC to upgrade their hardware.
BTW - Apple has nothing to do with this issue.

So my friend got a iPhone 3GS from the states and ofcourse it was locked with AT&T but upon reaching here when he inserted his Aitel Sim in it worked without any jailbreak or unlock. On the other hand i recently bought a iPhone 4 with 4.1 stock firmware and 2.10.4 baseband and it does not work with either of the official carriers let it be Airtel or Vodaphone even if we buy a microsim directly from the service provider(Yes they are available here on request).
Why is it so. Also last i heard was that Apple added few more carriers with the 4.2.1 update. If that is to be correct then does a iPhone 4 works here in India with that update without the jailbreak or unlock.

How is it that your friend got an iphone 3G S from U.S and that how does it work with Aitel Sim? All U.S purchased iphone are carrier locked to AT&T, and there is no official way to unlock them. They only way you can is to jailbreak and unlock it from there but otherwise a non-hacked u.s iphone will not work with other sim card. So it is likely that the phone your friend got is a hacked phone. You can also tell if your friend updates his phone to the latest firmware, that the phoen will go back to normal state and I bet you that the Aitel sim will not work.
