ReaderX chain installation issues

I am trying to chain Reader 10.01 update with 10.0 release. My batch file looks like this
msiexec /i \\server\share\AcroRead.msi TRANSFORMS="AcroRead.mst" /p c:\temp\acrobat\adbeRdrUpd1001_Tier1.msp
Also tried;
msiexec /i \\server\share\AcroRead.msi TRANSFORMS="AcroRead.mst" /p \\server\share\adbeRdrUpd1001_Tier1.msp
but it opens Windows Insataller instead. Any help? What am I doing wrong? Thanks.

Thanks for the reply but when I ran the command, I got "This package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it" message. But when added the path instead of c:\temp\acrobat, it worked successfully. Just wondering what happened.
Here is what my batch file looked like afterwards (added quiet and no restart switches as well)
msiexec /i \\server\share\AcroRead.msi TRANSFORMS="AcroRead.mst" PATCH=\\server\share\adbeRdrUpd1001_Tier1.msp /qb! REBOOT=SUPRESS

I am having some problems with testing a OWA (SSL) rule. I get that message.
The TMG belongs to the domain and therefore as far as I know it gets the root certificate of my CA (I have deployed a Enterprise CA for my domain).
That is why I don't understand the message: "...that is not trusted."
The exact message:
Testing https://mail.mydomain.eu/owa
Category: Destination server certificate error
Error details: 0x80090325 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted

Thanks Keith for your reply and apologies for the delay in my answer.
I coud not wait and I reinstalled the whole machine (W28k R2 + TMG 2010) . I suppose I am still a bad troubleshooter, I have experience setting up ISA, TMG, PKI, Active directory but to a certain extent.
1. Yes, I saw it when hitting the button "Test Rule" in the Publising rule in the TMG machine.
2. No, it did not work in this implementation but it has worked in others, this is not difficult to set up, until now, hehe.

But the certificates are auto-enrolled, and when I saw the details of the certificates they all are "valid" , there is a "valid" message.

But as I said, I re-installed the whole thing because nobody jumped in here , and I needed to move forward, I hope you understand.

If you are using internal CA,
You need to import the Root CA certificate to TMG servers.
Import Private Key of the certificate to Server personal
Create a Exchange publishing Rule and Point the lisitner to the Correct certificate.
Since you are using internal CA, You need to import the Root CA certificate to all the client browers from where you are accessing OWA
But I think I do not have to perform any of those tasks, although I am not an expert but have worked with Certificate for one year or so.

"The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted" when migrating to SQL 2012

Environment:
1 Primary Site (USSCCM-Site.domain.com)
1 CAS (USSCCM-CAS.domain.com)
SQL 2008 R2 (USSCCM-CAS.domain.com)
SQL 2012 SP1 CU6 (USSQL12.domain.com)
Issue:
We were successfully able to migrate the CAS to the new SQL 2012 server, almost without incident. When attempting to migrate the Site instance however, we are getting errors. Screenshot below.
Attached is a copy of the log. But below is a highlight of what I think are the errors… It appears that either SQL or SCCM doesn’t like a certificate somewhere, but it is contradicting because the logs say that it has successfully tested connection to SQL.
I am lost.

Troubleshooting:
I have read on a few articles of other people having this issue that states to find the certificate on SQL 2012 that’s being used and export it to the SCCM server – which I’ve done.

How about importing certificate in the personal folder under SQL server computer account into SCCM server computer account or SCCM server service account? That certificate is for SQL Server Identification. And you could
set the value of the ForceEncryption option to NO. (SQL Server Configuration Manager->SQL Server Network Configuration->
Protocols for <server instance>->Properties)

Hybrid Connection fails for Windows SQL Server 2014 - SSL Provider, error: 0 - The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted

I have configured BizTalk Services Hybrid Connection between Standard Azure Website and SQL Server 2014 on premise.
Azure Management portal shows the status of Hybrid Connection as established.
However, the website throws an error when trying to open a connection

TMG Error code 500 Certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted

Hello colleagues
I have site https://site.domain.ru:9510/pmpsvc
In site work: http://imgur.com/2cQ6vlF
I publish this site through TMG 2010, but I have error:
500 Internal Server Error. The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted (-2146893019).
On TMG server via MMC I imported certificate to:
http://imgur.com/eYqjrQg and reboot TMG server, but problem is not solved.
Maybe someone solved this problem?

This is because your certificate is unable to reach CA to verify the certificate
Ensure your TMG can reach the certificate authority
Import Root CA certificate to Trusted Root certificate authority in CertMGR
If you are using intermediate CA then import the intermediate CA certificate to intermediate CA in certmgr

Error code 265: The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.

We are in the process of trying to set up a wireless network that uses NPS servers to authenticate domain users with computers that are not on our domain (BYOD).
We are using a valid, wildcard SSL (with intermediate certificates) to authenticate via PEAP. The certificate was issued by Godaddy.
When trying to connect, we are getting the authentication request.
The result of a connection attempt is no connection with an event log error code of - “265: The certificate chain was issued by an authority that is not trusted.”
We have tried ensuring that the certificates are in the correct containers on the respective NPS servers: “Certificates\Personal\Certificates” With the intermediate certificates located: “Certificates/Intermediate Certification Authorities”
All these attempts have proven fruitless. Any assistance or direction would be very much appreciated.

Do you import the intermediate certificate in the right account? It should be imported in the Computer Account.
Have you imported the intermediate certificate in your client? Client need it to validate the certificate of your NPS server.

Lightroom 4.2 Installation Issue

Leaving this around in case anyone else has the same problem -- Solution found -- Windows installer issues / registry issues -- used the Microsoft Fix it tool (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2438651#reso3) to correct. 4.2 install ran fine.
I've read through the posts in the Lightroom forum regarding LR 4.2 install issues. I will list here the things I've done to try to get the install to work:
1) Downloaded the installation software twice.
2) Ran the setup program in admin user mode.
3) Ran the install in admin user mode.
4) Get the following error in a Windows Installer window:
The feature you are trying to use is on a network resource that is unavailable.
Click ok to try again, or enter an alternate path to a folder containing the installation package 'Adobe_Lightroom_x64.msi' in the box below.
Use source:
c:\Users\RMJF\AppData\Local\Temp\{...}
What I have found (after displaying hidden AppData folder):
The location where the .msi file resides is different from the one defaulting in the above window.
I select this alternate path, but still cannot complete the installation.
Furthermore, when I cancel the install, I get this error:

I have been running LR since the beginning of time and most recently LR 4.1, so there is no 4.2 installed.
Also, I tried to fix the install of 4.1 via the programs in Control Panel. I cannot repair it and get this error:
The installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access it.
All versions (except the 1.0 version) were downloaded and installed from the Adobe LR site.
So, looking for suggestions.
Seems like there are some missing files from the 4.1 version that are hindering the install of 4.2???
All quite frustrating. Hope you can get me to a speedy solution.
(System info: Windows Vista 64-bit Home, SP 2, 20 GB of disk space to spare! Also, I have set the install program to be allowed by the anti-virus program. I have run a registry clean-up, as well. No other apps are running during the install.)

Installation issue on opensuse 11

Hey All, Im a Windows guy still struggling with Linux set-upsso take it easy on me! :) and Im having a hard time getting blaze installed and running. This is what Ive done so far. I've successfully set-up the latest copy of openSuse11 64 bit version with: Tomcat 6.0.16 (Tested and running) ANT 1.7 JAVA SDK & JDK 6 Junit (ant-junit, junit, junit-javadoc, junit-manual, libcppunit-1_12-0) Downloaded both blazeds.war and blazeds_src_3-0-0-544.zip From Tomcat Manager I uploaded the blazeds.war file successfully. I unzipped the zip file into root/blazeds and from a command prompt ran ant. These are the errors Im getting: * [taskdef] Could no load definitions from resource net/sf/antcontrib/antcontrib.properties. It could not be found. (Repeats about a dozen times) * BUILD FAILED * /root/blazeds/build.xml:445: The following error occurred while executing this line: * /root/blazeds/resources/fds-ajax-bridge/build.xml:52 Problem: failed to create task or type if Cause: The name is undefined. * Action: Check the spelling * Action: Check that any custom tasks/types have been declared * Action: Check that any <presetdef>/<mac rodef> declarations have taken place. Sorry I've been away and just got back. Presently I'm working from jrun4 and would like to use blazeds instead. Once my projects get going I would need the ability to use my customers already made linux/tomcat boxes and just plug in blaze.

Forms 10g Installation issue on windows 7 Professional service pack 1

I am trying to install oracle forms 10g 64 bit windows 7 Professional service pack 1 ..
Below are 2 files that i am using ..
ds_windows_x86_101202_disk1.zip (626,122,752 bytes)
ds_windows_x86_101202_disk2.zip (236,880,881 bytes)
But it failed but the error is ..
Checking operating system version: must be 4.0, 5.0, 5.1 or 5.2. Actual 6.1 Failed <<<<

Christian is right - Forms 10g R2 (version 10.1.2.0.2) is not certified for installation on Windows 7. You must apply a Forms 10g R2 patch to bring the version to 10.1.2.3.0 for it to be certified. You must have a My Oracle Support account to obtain the patch.
Now, to your question - is there a workaround; the answer is yes. There are known issues with this installer. I'll list them and their workaround.
1. The Oracle installer checks for a specific set of Windows versions rather than check for a minimum Windows version.
Workaround: Right-click the Installer and select Properties. Click the Compatibility tab and click the checkbox: Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows XP SP3).
2. The Oracle Installer can't detect Windows Managed Virtual Memory (VM).
Workaround: You must temporarily change the Virtual Memory settings and specify specific Initial and Maximum sizes. See this Microsoft article for more information on changing VM settings. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-vista/change-the-size-of-virtual-memory
This change will require you to restart your computer. After you have successfully installed Oracle Forms 10g, you can restore the original VM settings.
3. The Oracle installer MUST be installed as an "Administrator".
Workaround: Windows 7 uses "Least privileged user" so you must right-click the Installer and select the Compatibility tab. Click the "Run this program as an administrator" checkbox.
4. Not a Oracle installer issue, but you will have to install the 32-bit version of the Oracle Java Runtime Environment (JRE) (1.6.0 - not 1.7.0) because Oracle Forms is a 32-bit application so it will not be able to use the 64-bit JRE.
Run the Oracle installer and it should now install succesfully.

HP Photosmart D7360 -- Driver/Installation issue

For some reason my HP Pavillion Laptop no longer recognizes my HP Photosmart printer. I have downloaded the drivers, I have the disk and no matter what I do, I can't get the printer driver to install.
It tells me that it can load verythign BUT the driver. Any ideas?

NWDS installation issue - "Please wait... completing the install"

Hi all,
I got the same "Problem" each time I update my NWDS.

After the installation, when I start the NWDS I get always the message:
"Please wait... completing the install"
If I create a new Workspace this really solves the problem but I don't like to create every time a new workspace after an update and copy all my projects back to this new workspace.
Is there no other solution around? I think I'm not the only one who has this troubles, am I?

I solved this problem by myself. So for everyone who is interested in how to solve this problem:
Just delete the folder .config in
\workspace\.metadata\
During the next start of NWDS this folder will be created and everything will work as excpected!

Acrobat Installation Issues due to Computer Switch

My surface bit the dust last week and I had to replace it. Downloaded acrobat successfully tot eh surface but then that apparently cut off access to the adobe pro on my home computer.
How do I get acrobat re-installed without the "you don't have a license" error message.
I am on a subscription plan

Ok, I understand. So before we continue, we really need to figure out what the exact error is. Can you, on at least 2 systems, generate the MSI logs we'll need? Here's a document that explains how to enable logging and where to find the logs once they've been created:

Once you've enabled logging, try installing again. Grab the newly created msi logs and either post here or email me at [email protected] I'll examine the logs and see if we can find a common issue between the systems.
