Reading objectives details store din hr_api_table

I am working on goal setting module.
I have to validate that the sum of weighting percent of Goals created should be equal to 100. I have to validate the same in Transfer Scorecard to worker for action.
The problem is that the ScoreCardObjectivesVO is able to retreive the rows which are in database but the goals added or cascarded by Manager which are stored in API. I am not not able to read the same. Please let me know how to prcoeed with the same

Does your Excel file has the "AutoFilter" activated?
If that is the problem, you have here a solution for reading a file with AutoFilter : http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.jakarta.poi.user/4690

    Personally, I think there is little or no value to creating a "domain"
    object that itself relies on a JATO QueryModel internally, but hides that
    fact and requires use of BeanAdapterModel.
    It would be more appropriate (and much less work, and more scalable) to just
    derive a QueryModel subclass and add the domain-specific behavior to the
    model. In other words, what's the point of creating an object that hides
    JATO inside it when you're running in JATO to begin with? Now if the domain
    object were doing plain JDBC, and thus trying to be JATO independent, that
    would be different. However, you could still implement the Model interface
    on the object (or use BeanAdapterModel) to integrate it seamlessly with the
    View tier.

    Craig,
    I think it all finally makes sense. First, your assumption is
    correct regarding the process flow. The ViewBean will interact with
    a custom Javabean which will then in turn interact with a SQL Model
    to access the database. So now let me make sure I understand what I
    need to do. Basically the custom Javabean will have a method to get
    the SQLModel. I would then invoke the setValue method on the
    SQLModel and call the appropriate execute method( e.g.,
    executeUpdate, etc. ) just like I would do from a ViewBean. Does
    this sound correct?
    Thanks,

    Not sure what you mean by "interface this BeanAdapterModel ... witha
    query model". Does this mean that you have a ViewBean the interactswith
    a custom JavaBean via the BeanAdpterModel wrapper, and from the
    JavaBean you are interacting with the SQL Model?
    So it looks like this: ViewBean > BeanAdapterModel(Custom JavaBean)
    SQL Model > RDBMS
    That's what I am reading anyway. Please explain this to me.
    Would I need to make direct JDBC calls
    from my custom model instead of letting JATO dynamically create
    the
    calls for me?
    If my assumptions above are correct, then the custom JavaBean cansimply
    use the SQL Model in exactly the same manner as the ViewBean,otherwise,
    if no SQL Model is involved, then yes, you need to handle JDBCdirectly,
    which is fine, if you do it "right" (connection pooling, result set
    handling, etc.).

  • Need to find the dependent object details for an object.

    Hi,
    Is there any query to find the dependent object details for any object. Like if mview is built on a table, then i should be able to find the table name with out checking code of the mview. Thanks in-advance for your support. similar way for view and functions or procedures etc...
    Regards
    DBA.

    Hi all,
    Thanks a lot for your inputs. seems i have not given full details in my post. I need to have a SQL Query to find the dependent object details not DDL.
    if i give a metriealized view name, i should get the base table names directly not DDLs...
    if i give index name i should get its corresponding table name(off course i got this already)...
    if i give a function name, i should get all the tables which are being in the function...etc...
    i am looking for a script which will cover all the aspects.....i hope i have given now enough information for this....

  • Write / read objects to/from File

    Hello,
    I have a problem with the writing and reading objects to/from a file.
    So what excatly I'm trying to is:
    I have a class Data. A thread creates constantly (until some limit) objects of this class Data.
    Once an object is created, is placed in a buffer (I wrote my own class DataBuffer extention of LinkedList).
    I have a limit on this buffer, so when the limit is reached, another thread starts getings objects from the buffer, writes them on the disk and removing them from the buffer.
    I'm putting the object always on the "top" and I'm reading them and removing always from the "bottom" of the buffer (FIFO).
    For writing the objects Data to the file, I'm using a FileOutputStream and ObjectOutputStream:
    I have something like that:
    FileOutputStream fos = new FileOutputStrea("file_name");
    ObjectOutputStream oos = new ObjectOutputStream(fos);after that I have this:
    while(size > i ){
                        try {
                             Data d = buff.getData();
                             //write to File
                             oos.writeObject(buff.getData());
                             oos.flush();
                             buff.removeData();
                             System.out.println("written data " + d);
                             i++;
                        } catch (IOException e) {
                             e.printStackTrace();
                   }here size is the limit for the buffer.
    So, when the size is equal to the total number of objects that were created and placed in the buffer, I have no problems with the writing/reading from the file.
    But if size is equal, for example, to the half of the total number of objects that were created, I have a problem.
    A more detailed exmple is:
    10 objects were created, the 10 objects were places to the buffer, a test was made and all the objects were written on the disk -> writing and reading are OK.
    if 10 objects were created, and I want to write 5 objects, and after that more 5, the first thing I remarqued is that the size of the file is different from the size of the file created by the first method. Second thing is when I'm reading from the file I can read only 5 objects and after that I have this exception:
    java.io.StreamCorruptedException : invalid type code : AC
    So ... is anyone has an idea why I have this problem?
    PS. For reading from the file I'm using another thread that executes this code:
    fis = new FileInputStream(readFile);
                        ois = new ObjectInputStream(fis);
                        while(true){
                             try{
                                  Data d = (Data)ois.readObject();
                                  System.out.println("data read " + d); //here I'm displaying the object that was read
                                  buff.putData(d);
                             }catch(EOFException e){
                                  break;
                        ois.close();
                        fis.close();
                   }catch (FileNotFoundException e) {
                        e.printStackTrace();
                   }catch(IOException e){
                        e.printStackTrace();
                   }catch (ClassNotFoundException e) {
                        e.printStackTrace();
                   }Regards,
    Anton
    PS. At present I'm writing first all the Data objects, and after that I'm trying to read from the file.
    Edited by: anton_tonev on Oct 5, 2007 4:14 AM

    Hello again :)
    Finally I found the solution :)
    In fact it is important to not to close the FileOutputStream and ObjectOutputStream until all the data was written on the disk.
    What I mean:
    in the begining of the program you have to open these two streams and write down the data that comes from somewhere.
    But you musn't close these streams before the final writing on the disk.
    It must look like this:
    1 Open file stream & opent object stream
    2 you're writing your all objects: one by one; 10 by 10 or as you wish ... but after each writing down you don't close the streams
    3 you already finished with the writing, (the end of your program), now you can close the streams.
    Unfortunatly I don't know why if I write the data and close the stream every time, after that it is impossible to append new data (with reopen the file)

  • Best way to make a object details page

    I have a dataTable, built with a sessionBean List. We have to make a link "show detail" in each row, and redirect to a new jsp showing selected row object details.
    Whats the best way to retrive the object selected?
    a commandLink with param (haschcode value) and search in list isn`t possible because is a sessionBean..
    I have some ideas but not with JSF....
    thanks

    1) Bind h:dataTable to an UIData property in main backing bean.
    2) Add a h:commandButton or h:commandLink to a column and bind it with an action method in main backing bean.
    3) In the main backing bean action method simply retrieve the row object byRowObject selectedRowObject = (RowObject) uiDataProperty.getRowData();and navigate to some display details page.
    4) In the display details page just access the data by #{mainManagedBean.selectedRowObject.someProperty} and so on.
    Detailed examples can be found here: [http://balusc.blogspot.com/2006/06/using-datatables.html].

    Hi,

    The Owner and EPT variables are assigned an object, but I cannot figure out which type of object. would expect it to be a string.
    I also tried with:
    projectContext.load(proj, 'Include(Name, Id, Owner)');
    Please, any help is appreciated.

    After a long search and through the CSOM API I found that the owner is actually a SharePoint object.
    projectsBasic.forEach(function (proj, index) {

  • How to Use Transient View Objects to Store Session-level Global Variables

    hi

    Based on this documentation I created the example application

    It behaves as show in the screencast at http://screencast.com/t/qDvSQCgpvYdd
    Its Application Module has a Transient View Object instance "MyEmployeesContextVOVI", as master for the child View Object instance "EmpInCtxJobVI".
    On rollback the Transient View Object instance keeps its row and attribute values.
    Also when passivation and activation is forced (using jbo.ampool.doampooling=false ) the Transient View Object instance seems to keep its row and attribute values.
    questions:

    - (q2) What would be a robust approach to make a Transient View Object instance more self-contained, and manage itself to have only one single row (per instance) at all times (and as such removing the dependency on the Application Module prepareSession() as documented in "5. Create an empty row in the view object when a new user begins using the application module.")?
    many thanks

    Thanks for your reply Frank.
    q1) Does sample 90 help ? http://blogs.oracle.com/smuenchadf/examples/
    Yes, the sample from Steve Muench does help, "90. Avoiding Dirtying the ADF Model Transaction When Transient Attributes are Set [10.1.3] "
    at http://blogs.oracle.com/smuenchadf/examples/#90
    It does point out a difference in marking transactions dirty by different layers of the framework, "... When any attribute's value is changed through an ADFM binding, the ADFM-layer transaction is marked as dirty. ...".
    This can be illustrate with a small change in the example application
    at http://www.consideringred.com/files/oracle/2010/ProgrammaticalViewObjectAndRollbackApp-v0.02.zip
    It now shows the result of both these expressions on the page ...
    #{bindings.MyEmployeesContextVOVIIterator.dataControl.transactionDirty}
    #{bindings.MyEmployeesContextVOVIIterator.dataControl.dataProvider.transaction.dirty}... where one can be true and the other false respectively.
    See also the screencast at http://screencast.com/t/k8vgNqdKgD
    Similar to the sample from Steve Muench, another modification to the example application introduces MyCustomADFBCDataControl
    at http://www.consideringred.com/files/oracle/2010/ProgrammaticalViewObjectAndRollbackApp-v0.03.zip
    public class MyCustomADFBCDataControl
      extends JUApplication
      @Override
      public void setTransactionModified()
        ApplicationModule vApplicationModule = (ApplicationModule)getDataProvider();
        Transaction vTransaction = vApplicationModule.getTransaction();
        if (vTransaction.isDirty())
          super.setTransactionModified();
    }Resulting in what seems to be more consistent/expected transaction (dirty) information,
    see also the screencast at http://screencast.com/t/756yCs1L1
    Any feedback on why the ADF Model layer is so eager to mark a transaction dirty is always welcome.
    Currently, question (q2) remains.

  • Can you allow users to view a calendar without granting "Read - Full Details"?

    Outlook 2007, Exchange 2010
    We would like users to be able to view Room calendars side by side in Outlook. Its fine if they can see basic details (subject, organizer), but we don't want them able open and read the meeting body.
    Is it possible to have a side by side view without granting "Read - Full Details"?
    David.

    Hi David,
    In Outlook 2007, "Free/Busy time, subject, location" permission only applies when checking the user's free/busy information and not when looking in another user's Calendar folder. In Outlook 2007, if you want to let the calendars be shown side
    by side, you need to grant the user Folder Visible permission. But in this way, the user can read meeting details.
    For more information, here is a blog for your reference.

  • Server hangs up when tryin to read object Urgent Help Plz

    Hi,
    I've been working on a client-server model for a while, I've tested my applicaction a thousand of times locally (I mean, server and serveral clients running on the same machine) and it's ok, now I finally run server in a remote host and I find it rarely works fine, most of the times server hangs up when tryin to read objects I dont know why.
    this is the part of the server-code where the problem begins:
    public int EscucharSocket(){
            Socket cliente = null;
            System.out.println("Servidor en escucha...\n");
            while(true){
                try{
                    cliente = SocketS.accept();
                    //I get client's ip and port
                    String ip = cliente.getInetAddress().getHostAddress();
                    int puerto = cliente.getPort();
                    //After the conexion is made, server reads a signature to
                    //identify the client
                   //in function process I check if the signature is valid
                   //SignedData is a class where I wrap the signiture (obviously
                   //it implements Serializable interface
                   process((SignedData)le.LeerObject(cliente));
                   //Other things done here
                catch (Exception e) { }
    }le is a class I use to read,write data to the socket, this is the code of the LeerObject function
    public Object LeerObject(Socket c) throws Exception {
           //Here Is where the server hangs up
            ObjectInputStream b = new ObjectInputStream(c.getInputStream());
            return b.readObject();
    }As I wrote when running locally, there is no problem, but when I have a remote host, that happens
    Any help or idea?

    Hi again, thnx for your help
    I modified my LE class so I just create a couple of Input/Output Streams per client (on server n client program), this is now the complete code of the class:
    import java.net.*;
    import java.io.*;
    public class LE {
        DataOutputStream     dos;
        ObjectOutputStream  oos;
        DataInputStream        dis;
        ObjectInputStream     ois;
        //Streams are created just once in the constructor
        public LE (Socket s) throws Exception {
            dos = new DataOutputStream(s.getOutputStream());
             //I'm not sure if this flush has any sense
            dos.flush();
            oos = new ObjectOutputStream (s.getOutputStream());
            oos.flush();
            dis = new DataInputStream(s.getInputStream());
            ois = new ObjectInputStream (s.getInputStream());
        public void EscribirByte(byte datos[],int len) throws Exception {
            dos.write(datos,0,len);
            dos.flush();
        public void EscribirString(String dato) throws Exception {
            dos.writeUTF(dato);
            dos.flush();
        public void EscribirChar(char dato) throws Exception {
            dos.writeChar(dato);
            dos.flush();
        public void EscribirInt(int dato) throws Exception {
            dos.writeInt(dato);
            dos.flush();
        public void EscribirLong(long dato) throws Exception {
            dos.writeLong(dato);
            dos.flush();
        public void EscribirObject(Object dato) throws Exception {
            oos.writeObject(dato);
            oos.flush();
        public String LeerString() throws Exception {
            return dis.readUTF();
        public int LeerInt() throws Exception {
            return dis.readInt();
        public char LeerChar() throws Exception {
            return dis.readChar();
        public long LeerLong() throws Exception {
            return dis.readLong();
        public Object LeerObject() throws Exception {
            return ois.readObject();
    }part of code of server and client, where the conexion is made and the LE object is created
    Server:
    try{
           cliente = SocketS.accept();
           //After accepting the conexion the LE object is created
            le = new LE(cliente);
            //I get client's ip and port
            String ip = cliente.getInetAddress().getHostAddress();
            int puerto = cliente.getPort();
            //Object wraping signature is read
            process((SignedData)le.LeerObject());
            //other control operations doing here
            //A thread is created to receive requests from client
            //(reference to LE object is passed to the thread
           ConexionCliente c = new ConexionCliente (cliente,id_persona,id_grupo,tipo_usuario,backup,le);
            //thread is started
            c.start();
    catch (Exception e) {
        try {
            cliente.close();
        catch(Exception e2){}
    }Cliente code:
    try{
       //it connects to the server
       c=new Socket(host,puerto);
       //After accepting the conexion the LE object is created
       le = new LE(c);
       //other things made here to genarate SignedData Object
      //It sends signed data object
      le.EscribirObject(Data);
      //A thread is created and started to receive messages from server
      //reference to object LE is sent to the thread to avoid the need of
      //creating another
      new ConexionServidorClient(c,id_persona,ci,le).start();
      return 1;
    catch(Exception e) {
       return -1;
    }after the change, itworks a little better, but still most of the times server hangs up, I can't make server operational yet and I dont have any idea for solving this issue

  • How & where to use Java script to create new button in object detail page

    Hi All,
    I want to create "New/Add button" in object detail page. If i am not wrong i need to use java script for that but could you please let me know how & where to use Java script to create new button in object detail page in CRMOD.
    Thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Manish

    Any related object on the detail page should have an "Add" or "New" or both buttons by default - This is vanilla functionality and will do the required action.
    If you want to modify this behaviour and do something tricky you will potentially have to go for javascript. You should add the javascript on a custom web tab on that Object.
    Admin --> Application Customization --> Contact -->Contact Web Applet
    Now, add your javascript in the code area, after you select the type = HTML for this web applet, expose this web applet on the Contact detail layout and your javascript will be invoked whenever this page is loaded.
    Check this online document to see how javascript can be embedded in CRM on Demand http://helponmyproject.com/TTOCOD/

  • Generate error list with object detail

    Dear All,
    I have two way (multimaster ) Replication but due to some reason it generated many errors during replicate data so to resolve errors, I want to generate error list (Report) with object details instead viewing them one by one. please guide
    Thanks

    What do you mean with generate error list (Report) with object details ?
    You can get all the errors from DEFERROR view.
    There are columns DEFERRED_TRAN_ID and CALLNO.
    You can join this columns with DEFCALL (DEFERRED_TRAN_ID and CALLNO).
    Joining this two views will provide information about the objects and transaction type involved in the call.
    DEFCALL.PACKAGENAME contains the reference to the table_name.
    DEFCALL.PROCNAME contains information about the transaction type.
    Example:
    select e.deferred_tran_id,
           e.callno,
           e.origin_tran_db,
           c.packagename,
           c.procname
    from deferror e, defcall c
    where e.deferred_tran_id=c.deferred_tran_id
    and e.callno=c.callno(below are the links to the 10gR2 docs containing information about DEFERROR and DEFCALL views. If your database is different version, than search http://tahiti.oracle.com for version specific documentation)
    DEFERROR
