  • Customer with the Invoice date to open & clearing item

    hi all ,
    how is for a customer with the Invoice date i want to track the opened item with the base line date followed by posting date and credit days.
    thanks

    Dear Sri Wa,
    You can use the transaction code FBL5N. Here in the initial screen, you can give the customer code and the invoice date.
    Then on execution, you can go into the report and change the layout (Cntrl+F8) and add the fields "Arrears after net due date", "Posting Date" , "Clearing date " and "Net due date" and any other field as you please.
    Hope that clarifies. Assign points if useful.

  • Alerts/Remindrs to process S/O with future Delivery Date

    Is it possible to create an Alert or Reminder, that will alert the user (or users) who creates a Sales Order with a future Delivery Date to process the Sales Order?

    I am looking for the alert to remind the Order Entry department they have pending orders that need to be processed.
    The Alert should say" Sales Order Number(s): xxxxx1, xxxxx2, xxxxx3 need to be processed. These alerts should be generated 5 days before the delivery date.
    Often times we have customers that will place an order, but they state they do not need it until a week or two from the time the order is placed. We then generate the sales order, but will not print the "Pick Ticket" to the warehouse until three days before the customer expects the product and Order Entry will forget to process these sales orders; this is why the alerts are needed.

  • Google index external HTML data sets?

    I know one of the workarounds to have Google properly index
    dynamic content is to use HTML data sets, but I'm unclear about one
    thing. Does this only work if you have the HTML data set table on
    the same page you use it with, or does it also work with external
    HTML data sets?
    For instance, will Google have a problem indexing if I use a
    external HTML data set like:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    <!--
    var educationLinks = new
    Spry.Data.HTMLDataSet("links/educationLinks.htm",
    "educationLinks");
    //-->
    </script>
    <div spry:region="educationLinks" id="linksContainer"
    class="SpryHiddenRegion">
    <ul spry:repeatchildren="educationLinks"
    class="unorderedLinkList">
    <li><a href="{url}"
    target="_blank">{name}</a> - {description}</li>
    </ul>
    <!-- end #linksContainer -->
    </div>

    I'm doing the same exact thing using external HTML data sets
    instead of XML. It is true that spiders will not index the external
    page based on the Spry data you noted. My solution will be to
    create a sitemap.xml page and submit it to the search engines. That
    sitemap.xml file will contain all the pages in your site and the
    spiders will use it as a central point to crawl all of those pages
    specified within. So, I will just include my externally referenced
    files in the sitemap.xml file.

  • Cancel invoice not picking invoice date but sysdate?

    Hi all,
    We are using Oracle EBS R11. In Payables when cancelling an invoice the accounting date is populating with the sysdate not with the invoice date. Any ideas what we need to fill the invoice date? I searched for any thread with this issue but no effect. The periods are open - this cannot be the cause. Let us consider that the invoice date is 10-FEB-2012 which means it is in same period as sysdate. Pls help.
    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Navigate to Payables
    2. Create Invoice
    3. Validate and Create Accounting
    4. Cancel Invoice and Create Accounting
    5. Tools > View Accounting > Accounting date - sysdate not 10-FEB-2012
    RDBMS : 9.2.0.8.0
    Oracle Applications : 11.5.10.2Thanks in advance,
    Bahchevanov.

    Hi,
    Thanks for reply.
    Why do you expect that the cancelled date should be the invoice date and not the sysdate?Because before applying the patches the cancelled date was the invoice date - which is a requirement of our customer...
    Thanks,
    Bahchevanov.

  • Assemble-to-Order with External Procurement

    Dear colleagues,
    I am trying to figure out how to deliver an assemble-to-order process to my client without having to create planned orders. My client's environment is such that PP is not in place.
    The business requires an assembly process, but always with external procurement.
    Has anyone come accross an identical requirement and if so, can I please ask for suggestions on what strategy, strategy group should I use?
    Thanks and regards
    Kikas

    Dear All,
    Perhaps I did not phrase my question correctly.
    Yes, 100%  - Assembly is PP. Let me see if I can explain.
    The client's process is as follows:
    Inquiry - Costing and Pricing - Quotation - Sales Contract - Equipment Commissioning (e.g. server) with warranty and serialisation - Commissioning Complete - Maintenance Contract.
    I would like to be able to trigger the "commissioning" from SD - I am not sure how I can go about it:
    1) - Assembly with Planned Order (PP) but very limited since PP is not in scope and all materials are externally purchased;
    Is it possible to use a planned order with externally purchased materials only? If so what would be the process?
    2) - "Assembly" with perhaps a PM refurbishment order - PM04.
    I have never done this so I am unsure if this is possible; I was hopping to be able to achieve this by creating a new requirement class similar to 203 (assembly static) but assigned to order type PM04 instead of PP04 - do you think this would be possible?
    Thanks so much for your help

  • Settling Rebate Agreements with Validity Start Date not Start of the Month

    Hello Experts,
    I am currently trying to settle a rebate agreement with validity dates November 20, 2011 to December 31, 2011. However, after the credit memo is created, I noticed that the Service rendered date is today's date, but I expected it to be the same as my Settlement Date = November 30, 2011 (a month-end). Please advise if this is normal. If not, please advise how to correct the automatic entry of dates.
    Thanks,

    Hi
    Kindly let us know what is the rebate agreement type that has been used for which you are facing problem and for which rebate agreement type you are getting the month end date.Check wheather scale basis is B(Value scale) has been maintained or not for the rebate agreement for which you are getting problem.So check the differences between the two rebate agreement types.As The service rendered date of the invoice line item is used to determine the validity of a rebate condition record

    Created Schema Group, Vendor
    Maintained  Purchase Rebate Agreement via MEB1 and created a Purchase Order where I could able to view the Rebate condition type gets determined based on the rebate agreement which has been created for a specific material.

  • Extended Rebate Processing - Data flow in tables

    Hi Gurus,
    Can somebody help me understand how data flows through various tables in extended rebate processing. i.e. once a new condition record for a rebate agreement is created, in which table it is updated first? Once VBOF is executed, which are the tables taken as reference and which are the ones updated on execution.
    Please explain wrt all concerned tables and info-structures like KONA,KONV,KONH,KONP,S136 & S469.
    It'll be a great help if somebody could explain thoroughly.
    Thanks & Regards.

    Thanks Arun.
    I understand now that to have the extended rebate functionality we have to activate the generic Business Function- EA-ISSE (Industry specific sales enhancement).
    I am more interested in the Indirect sales functionality for which I understand we have to use the Pendulum List Indirect Sales component.
    I have a situation where I am a producer and I have wholesalers who have end customers. The end customers may or may not belong to a corporation(an umberalla organization) .
    I want to set rebates on the sales of the end customers. The sales details of the end customer would be given to me (producer) by the wholesaler. But the rebate payments, I (the producer) want to pay it out to the Wholesaler ( I understand the standard solution is to pay out to the end customer) with details of each end user rebates.
    Do you have any pointers to how this could be acheived?

    As I am not able to get indirect extended sales order & billing document number it wonu2019t be possible to update Info structure S136 & S469 (RBT_ENH_RMCSS469) as required for rebate basis.
    I am facing error/issues at two places.
    In Step: Updating sales data:
    I have put Sales area, Wholesaler & clicked on Display only errors, so the expected result is that I should get Document number of indirect order. But I am not getting same. Please help.
    In Step: Updating of Indirect sales:
    I have put Month, sales area and I was suppose to get Indirect billing document number but I am getting message as u201CNO data selected for updateu201D.

  • Rebate conditions with mulitple validity dates

    Hello,
    I have an urgent requirement.  My customer wants to define different rebate rate by date in one agreement like normal pricing condition types.
    for an example,
    The validity date of the agreement is
    1/1/2008 ~ 3/31/2008
    Rebate conditons are as follows,
    Material A  $2 per 1unit,  1/1/08 ~2/28/08
    Material A  $3 per 1unit,  3/1/08 ~ 3/31/08
    I would appreciate with your help.  I will give you high point!

    Hi,
    Thanks for your answer.
    When I tried to create a new condition record with different validity date, the system gave me a message "VK 104, the condition is being processed in current session".  and then removed the record from the screen.  It's because of the same condition key exists.
    I think it's related to the difference on condition tables.  When I checked a condition table for PR00, the attribute was "with validity period" but a rebate condition table had none in attribute.
    Do you have any idea?

  • I have all of my data from my old macbook pro in an external hard drive. Basically it's my old Macbook hard drive with external casing. It was working fine before when retrieving files using my new macbook air, now I can't access any files?

    I can't access any of my files, photos, anything form my external hard drive... It worked before now when I plug it in the light comes on, but it doesn't even show up as an external drive, so I can't access anything, I'm worried I have lost everything...

    Huge mistake was only having ONE copy of your data OFF computer,
    most people do it, and its just horrible and the typical reason for serious data loss.
    Likely you have a very common failure (extremely common actually) called SATA bridge card failure, which would be "good" news,
    read about same here:
    Your dead external hard drive is likely fine! Great hope for your 'faulty' external HD
    Never again let yourself have LESS than 2 copies of your important data off-computer,      ever
    1. verify the external HD doesnt show up on another Mac
    if same, you have about a 8 in 10 chance its SATA card failure.......... easy to fix.
    The great news at the end of the tunnel of an apparently failed or failing external hard drive.
    When checked on another computer, and with no need for spending money on data extraction expertise or software, the very likely case is that your external USB or thunderbolt HD is in fact fine, and merely the card interface, or SATA bridge card has failed or is failing.  Keeping a HD dock around handy, or cheaper still a $20 hard drive enclosure or a SATA to USB connector can be a real life saver in getting your drive back to use, when the drive itself is fine, and merely its interface card has gone bad.
    The SATA bridge card inside a USB external HD has a very high failure rate in general
    Typical SATA bridge cards as seen inside a 3.5" external HD with power input (#1), and 2.5" SATA cards (#3, #4, #5)
    What are the realistic odds your HD is perfectly fine?
    There are no hard facts whatsoever, especially since so many people discard their assumed “dead/faulty” hard drives, but a good educated conclusion from years of examining and seeing this issue is that for hard drives made since 2010, and not dropped or generally abused, is that a minimum of 50% conservatively are perfectly fine! I personally estimate however that it likely approaches 60%+.
    Considering how many external hard drives ‘fail’ (rather the SATA bridge more than half the time) each day, that is a very high number of perfectly fine HD that are tossed!
    This is especially common with 3.5” desktop HD that are connected 24/7 with power and see a lot of data transfer. People wrongly conclude that “X” mfg. just made a defective drive, when in fact their 3.5” drives inside the plastic enclosure is 100% fine.  I have personally seen well over 200 of these dead SATA cards and additionally seen 3 fail within a one hour span of doing a large data copies.
    One of the very reason pros use bare HD as inserted into HD docks is not just the saving of space and the need for endless USB cables, but the elimination of the need for this high failure-rate part.
    While the shapes and sizes vary somewhat on SATA bridge cards, they all serve the same purpose and have likewise failure rates
    What exactly is the SATA bridge card in your external HD?
    In the middle to late of 2009, most all external hard drives both in 2.5” and 3.5” reached the shelves in SATA III. These small SATA cards or "bridges" are used to translate between the hard drives’ interfaces and the enclosures' external ports (USB, Thunderbolt, Firewire). Additionally these small bridges not only transfer power but also of course the data. Unfortunately these SATA bridge cards have a very high failure rate as they are burdened with shuffle power and data.
    Literally these little unreliable and fragile cards are the power conduits and the nervous system for all external HD data transfer.
    SATA card as found inside a typical USB external hard drive
    The assumption that the hard drive is bad when its not!
    Countless 1000s of good external hard drives are thrown away each year because the owner thought the HD was bad when it fact it was the SATA bridge card which had failed. This card is removed in a matter of mere second once an external USB HD is cracked open from its plastic casing to reveal the bare HD and the attached SATA card which attaches between the HD and the USB cable.
    To complicate this problem, even many computer professionals do not know that there is a very easy solution to the “failing or dead HD” issue since the hard drive itself is very likely just fine.  Its astonishing that so many highly educated computer repair persons are unaware of this high-failure part, but this is mostly due to the fact that they do not juggle 100s of hard drives and know that of the iceberg that is a “external hard drive failure”, the mostly unseen majority are not a HD failure at all, but a bridge card failure.
    To add to this great misunderstanding is the fact that people assume that "likewise symptoms seen on an external HD are the same as seen on an internal HD, therefore also the external HD must be bad". This is a compositional fallacy of logic. Since internal HD do not have a SATA bridge interface, to conclude similar symptoms "indicate the same failure" is misplaced and incorrect.
    This is all not to say that HD do not fail, they do indeed, and I have seen many 100s of dead and failing hard drives.  Hard drives even under ideal conditions have a life expectancy of around 4-8 years due to ferromagnetic depolarization from entropy.  But of the mountain of symptoms that are seen as “hard drive failures” in comments, posts, and hearsay, half or more of these are not a HD failure at all.
    Once your rescued hard drive is removed from the bad SATA card
    You have several options, but the purchase of a $20 HD enclosure is one option, another is having a HD dock, however this eliminates the former portability in a 2.5" small HD.
    Remember that 3.5” HD require power, which means you need either a HD dock, or a powered SATA card kit as seen at top left in the picture below. 2.5” HD get power from the USB port itself.
    Just remember that the serious downside to the low cost external HD enclosures is THEY TOO contain these SATA cards, and what is worse the cheap ones will fail, often, much quicker than the original factory one did! In which case it is recommended you buy a quality HD USB enclosure
    Rescue tools to use with your extracted HD for data recovery

  • I have new hard drive in macbook pro(08) and have SATA cable with external power source to old hard drive (10.5.8)via. USB port and newer drive(10.6.8) will not recognize older drive..Do I need to partition newer drive with older disk to recover data?

    I have new HD 750GB Hybrid in 2008 Macbook Pro 17" w/ Snow Leopard 10.6.8  connected to old Hard drive(250GB that had 10.5.8 on it at time of failure) via SATA cable to USB port with external power source.. Computer not acknowledging old HD at all in Disk Utility or otherwise (that I'm aware of)..Do I need to partition New HD and load old(10.5.8) onto partition to recognize older drive for data recovery? Thanks Wayno08

    You do not need to load 10.5.8 onto your new drive in order for a 10.6.8 system to see the contents of a 10.5.8 system.
    You might want to check out the hard drive troubleshooting bootk in the downloads section of this web site:
    http://scsc-online.com
    They also sell a product named Phoenix that can do OS extraction  and volume copying/cloning, but to be honest I don't know if it's appropriate in this case.
    I would suggest the following:
    Open up Terminal.app (under utilities) and type "diskutil list" without the quotes. This is the command line version of Disk Utility. If the external drive doesn't show up at all, then it's likely not connected properly, not getting power, or just plain dead. If it shows up with only a devce name like disk0s16 but no volume it means the drive is seen, the OS just can't make sense of it.
    Assuming the drive shows up, I would try to boot off the original installl disks for the system and run Disk Utility from that. I'm assuming the drive will show up. You'll want to select the option to repair the drive and then perform the option to repair the permissions.
    If the unit isn't showing up, as per step 1, try a different USB port. More importantly with your unit, try it on another side of the unit if possible. If you read the book I referenced above, some of those units have I/O boards that are separated from the logic board. If the cable from the logic board to the I/O card goes bad or has problems, which isn't all that uncommon, some or all of the ports on the I/O card may appear to be bad as well. If you use a USB port on another side, it would be routing out of a completely different I/O path, so that's a potential problem.
    If the drive is only seen with a device name such as disk0s16, it's likely either the index files are corrupt beyond Disk Utility's ability to see them. The  only thing that I think would help would be a product named DIsk Warrior, but I can't guarantee that.
    Disk Warrior can be found at:
    http://www.alsoft.com/diskwarrior/
    The company that I linked in the first link above also makes a product named Scannerz that does HD and system testing. The Scannerz/Disk Warrior combination make a good pair because the complement each other....Scannerz does what Disk Warriror can't and Disk Warrior does what Scannerz can't. However, at this point I'm not too sure getting a tool like Scannerz would be of much use because it sounds like the  damage has already been done.
    Let us know what happens.
