Receive Vs dequeue - Why receive or onMessage() does not remove messages?

I have a java class that receives messages from a oracle queue. When I create a receiver and receive the messages from the queue, I get the messages but the message stays on the queue instead of being removed.
However when I use the dequeue method from OracleAQ the message is removed from the queue.
I cannot use a dequeue ultimately as I need to setup a MessageListener on the queue to receive messages asynchronously. This is not supported by AQ.
How can I make sure the receiver removes the messages from the queue? Do I need to set some properties when I receive the message using the receive() method or the onMessage() method on the MessageListener?
The RETENTION_TIME on the queue is set to 0 in the database.

I am seeing the same thing, and would really like to stick with using the AQjms interface if possible. Does anyone know of a work-around? Do I need to use the pl/sql dequeue method? Thanks in advance, Chris

Expire does not remove messages

1. I configured these settings to remove files from the Deleted folder:
store.expirerule.agedeleted.exclusive = yes
store.expirerule.agedeleted.folderpattern = user/%/Deleted
store.expirerule.agedeleted.messagedays = 30

2. I ran a test expire with 'stored -n -v' and verified that messages would be expired from many accounts.
3. I checked the default log and found that the expire started at 22:00 and finished at 23:46, but NO messages were removed.
What's wrong?

Yes, I did a stop-msg/start-msg. Our system has both Trash and Deleted folders. The 'stored -n -v' check returned messages like this:
NOTICE: expired 166 messages in 'user/aabebe/Deleted'
I expected that the real run would remove those messages. This is the first time I've run an expire. Could it be they weren't deleted because stored can't tell they've been in the folder for 30 days? If that was true, I wouldn't expect to see the message above during the test.

if I run this line in windows, windows access to this folder.

If your XI server is running on Unix platform then you'll get the access only after mounting 10.128.68.38 this system as a drive. This is equivalent to the windows network mapping.
Next thing is that once that is done then you can access the path /arbo2000/UploadPinfos/arbodev by mentioning it in your directory path.
To check whether the above mentioned is the problem then pls do try by doing it with FTP protocol. If it works then for acting as a local directory for NFS you need to mount the drive.

Invalid aggregation:( The number received in BW does not tally

Hi Guru's,
We are currently facing issue in uploading data in to data traget cube which is showing green symbol in the request status,
While in monitor it is showing yellow status on the status tab.
I have checked in the request:
So I have deleted the request and then reloaded it again.
I have checked the load which is completed as the number of records are daily.
But still this status is in yellow so currently I need help to wether, to make the status green manually.
If so what are the implications.
Kindly help me in this regards.

I am not sure if the solution is still relevant but we faced a similar problem and we found the solution, so wanted to share with you .
This error of 'Invalid aggregation' occurs if there are records in error and if the checkbox "No aggregation allowed" is selected in 'Error Handling' under 'Update' tab of Infopackage maintenance.
Please carry out the followig steps:
1) Go to the respective infopackage
2) select tab Processing, make sure radio button "Only PSA" and the checkbox "update subsequently to data targets" is selected.
3) On the Update tab, click on the button "Error Handling" at the bottom
4) Now of the available three radio buttons choose as per your requirement.(select 'valid records update, reporting possible(green)' for master data)
5) Now, uncheck the box 'No aggregation allowed'
What the last step does is that, the data is aggregated for the correct records and not for the incorrect records.
So, in case of an error we will get a separate request for incorrect records, which we can correct and upload later to the respective target.
This should help resolve the error.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider if it appears), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

this server is not valid. I'm not seeing this message here on the OES
servers I looked at, and NAM is working correctly here.

If your are unable to send phone calls I would recommend that you contact your carrier about this. If you feel this is the device you can do a hard reset on it and before you sync try to place a phone call if that resolves the issue then go to your backup folder located here:

Has anyone been able to contact Adobe to learn why their Flash Player does not work on Mac OS 10.6.8, no matter how many updates you install? This seems like a big error by Adobe.

I have thee Mac computers with Mac OS 10.6.8, one of which is a Mac Pro. No matter how many updates I install from Adobe, their Flash Player does not work on any of these 3 computers. I don't know how to contact Adobe Systems about this problem, but I think it is their responsibility to make sure that their so-called "universal" software works proplerly on a relatively recent operating system like OS 10.6.8 that is still in widespread use. When you install the updates, nothing happens -- not even an error message. What is the point of a universal player that is not universal? It works fine on my MacBook Pro with OS 9 Mavericks, but it does not work at all -- indeed, has never worked -- on my 3 Macs with OS 10.6.8. Has anyone contacted Adobe Systems to find out why the Flash Player does not work with OS 10.6.8 and what they plan to do about it?

Get the appropriate dmg installer here and then run it.

If it still won't install, do these two things: First uninstall any Flash by going into the second level Hard Drive Library>Internet Plug-ins, and trash the Flash Player.plugin and flashplayer.xpt. Then boot into Safe Boot, Shift at the startup chime (give it much longer than a usual boot) and run the installer while booted in Safe Boot.

iTunes11 has limited options if you are running Snow Leopard or earlier.

Firstly, you need to change your details with Apple, Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account. You may have already done this.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your iOS device, you need to delete the account from your iOS device first, then add it back using your updated details. (Settings > iCloud, scroll down and hit "Delete Account")
Providing you are simply updating your existing details and not changing to another account, when you delete your account, all the data that is synced with iCloud will also be deleted from the device (but not from iCloud), but will be synced back to your device when you login again.
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iCloud account on your computer, you need to sign out of the account from your computer first, then sign back in using your updated details. (System Preferences > iCloud, click the sign out button)
In order to change your Apple ID or password for your iTunes account on your iOS device, you need to sign out from your iOS device first, then sign back in using your updated details. (Settings > iTunes & App store, scroll down and tap your ID)
If you are using iMessages or FaceTime, you will also need to log out and into your ID there too.

BDC programs can run in the background, If you use the Functionmodules which is Uplpoad a file from Presentation server or Upload from presentation server then we can not use the Program in the Background processing. if the BDC program does not have these function modules then we can use the program in Background
