Receiving "Error truncating change log: null" after redeploying application

Hi,
I am running Weblogic 8.1 SP5 on Windows 2003. We are running into a problem where we redeploy an EAR on the server and it's causing an error "Error truncating change log: null" in the admin server. Here are the basic steps:
1) We have an application from a third-party that is deployed to the managed nodes in a cluster.
2) We Stop the application.
3) We redeploy the application. The application redeploys ok.
4) We stop the application for a 2nd time.
5) We redeploy the application. This time, the server reports that it's in progress forever. This is when we start to see the errors in the log.
6) To get the server back, we need to shut down the managed and admin servers.
7) We have to kill the java.exe process on each node.
8) We have to delete the ldap directory on the admin node.
9) Once we restart the server, we are back again.
So, after receiving hundreds (maybe a few thousand), we get the error:
java.io.IOException: More than 2048 open files
If anyone has any idea what's happening, it would be greatly appreciated.

Could you please tell us what version of DVD SP your are using?
If its 3.x or earlier, then A.Pack should be used.
If it's 4.x, then you will need to use compressor's, Dolby 2.0 audio encoding, because A.Pack will have been removed by the DVD SP 4's installer.
There are also adjustments you will need to make to the basic settings of the Dolby 2.0 settings that come with compressor or A.Pack, to get the best output.

Error in Change Log of Sales Documents

When i try to see the Change Log of sales document (Tools> Change Log) I get an error message
No matching records found " (ADOC)(ODBC - 2028) [Message 131-183]
What can it be ?

Yes it should, but maybe those documents were created before the "History / Log" in General Settings > Services were changed from 0 to (example) 99.
Only after this action, information will be recorded in the Chang Log.

Error while Changing log level in Agentry 6.0.44.1

And it is showing any option to change the log levels for users. How can I change log level for users also.

This is fixed or planned fixed in 6.0.46 Agentry Server (supposed to be available anytime soon in the Service Marketplace - it was submitted already to the SMP team). The fix was in SMP 2.3 and SMP 3.0 but it was ported back to the Agentry 6.0.X release. If you have no access to the Agentry 6.0.X patches this means that your SAP License is preventing you from downloading it. You may need to contact the SAP CIC (customer interaction center) group.
Or you can do the manual setup for a workaround for now.
SAP KBA article: 2048202 - AgentryGUI does not allow to change log settings - Not all setttings were successfully changed.

"Error creating ds account: null" after iphone ios 5 update when attempting sign in with Apple ID..any ideas?

I have just updated my iPhone software to ios 5, it all seemed to go very smoothly until I was asked for my Apple ID.
I clearly have a working ID as I'm signed into this very website so it isn't a problem with that - but when I've attempted sign-in it has come up with "Error creating ds account: null"
I was going to skip this step but it pops up again saying that you need it for iTunes and I wasn't sure if I could sign into my ID at a later time or not, so I'm stuck on the Apple ID page!
Has anyone else had this issue or a solution?

I've managed to sort it out now - I think my problem was to do with the Internet, as my connection wasn't working when I first tried to sign into apple ID. I did a step back and re-selected my Internet router, and it then seemed to work! Give this a go because it worked for me!

This is a problem which was previously discussed on this mailing list.
Dunno if you tried to restart (iascontrol start) iAS several times but after
a while all processes bind successfully.
In a nutshell (assuming you are using < SP2), your problem is that you don't
clean up your old references when you redeploy. What I mean by that, is you
should always run "iasdeploy removeapp/removemodule .... " prior to
redeploying. What you have now is a cache full of stale entries which are
taking space in the ldap resulting in a slow startup. When you redeploy new
entries are created (this has been changed in SP3) for all you components
instead of overwriting.

I am having issues installing Extension Managger CC. I receive the follwoing error when attempting to install Extension Manager:

I don't know if the permissions on the file (and contents) are correct. I noticed that they were pointing to a user that no longer exists. I manually went in and made the owner and groups point to system, wheel and root and everyone, with all three having R+W access.
Are these the correct permissions? I was thinking of using Adobe CC Cleaner but I didn't see anything that mentioned Extension Manager. What would the APE 3.4 be called?
What yould you recommend?

Rocky you are correct to determine this is a file permission failure which is causing the error. Please see Error "Exit 6" or "Exit 7" | Install log | Read, write, system file errors | CS5, CS5.5 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/error-exit-6-exit-7.html for information on how to adjust the file permissions.
If you continue to fail with this update you may want to try applying the update in either a Root user account or a new administrator account to see if the same failure occurs.

Receiving error message in log

I insert my blank DVD, hit burn and the process starts, however after 2-3 minutes I get a small error saying that the "video Bitrate is too high"
This message is also reflected in the log.
I am not full sure how to adjust the bitrate, what could I do to fix this, or where would I go to change the bitrate and what would I change it to?

Receiving errors trying to run adpatch after a clone from production.

O have try executed solution in note 1237003.1. with no luck.
The run of adrelink.sh force=y "ad" finished with status 0. I've also tried running the adadmin utility and chose to relink all products. But adpatch also fails with same error. At this point the only thing I can think of is to have a UNIX admin install AIX 6.1 on the dev server and see if the clone has issues and see if adpatch fails. Is there any other relink or script I can run or need to run to help this particular situation out? OR is cloning from an AIX 6.1 unix environment to an AIX 5.3 environment just not compatible with oracle E-Business Suites?

Applet error with changing variable data after several runs....

Can anyone give some advice on the following:
I have a java card program running on a gsm sim:
The program makes use of member variables which
contain data that is reused and rewritten all the time.
The member variables are all declared as (for example)
private byte[] myVariable = {(byte) ' ',(byte) ' '};
And the values stored in the variables are changed
everytime the program gets an event. This works fine
for about 15 - 35 times and then suddenly the program
can't execute any code that accesses these variables (the
other parts that simply display a message or the menu and that
never change their variable's value have no problem running on).
Does anyone know a specific reason for this ? Should I rather
use my own EF entries on the SIM to keep data ? Is there any
specific rules around using variables and reusing them ?
The only fix (once this occurs) seems to be to reload the applet
onto the card...resetting the phone etc. does not change this
behaviour....
Any help would be much appreciated...

I don't think that your problem lies in your private member variable.
From my point of view it is more likely that you some kind of memory allocation problem somewhere.
Anyway it is always a good idea to post a minimal applet which reproduces the erroneous behaviour.

Hi Manish!
You should install RSM on the different application server, since RMS using OAS 10.1.2, but RSM, RPM and other applications need OAS 10.1.3.

Is upgradation the only solution?No, it is one of the better options (and my personal suggestion) as PS2 release is more stable and has many more functionalities and features than PS1. The error which you are getting may be due to a corrupt installation. In case you want to solve this error only and do not want to go for upgrade, then feel free to raise a case with support.

Why do I receive Error Code -50000?

I have a M-serie 6221 card where I use the two analog output, DC voltage out. (Labview 7.0 running on a Pentium 4 HT processor and Win XP SP2).
I have two processes (independant dynamic VI's) for analog voltage output.
Process 0 use AO channel 0 and Process 1 use AO channel 1 on the 6221 card.
Both processes use the simple DAQ-Write 1 Chl 1 Smpl VI and with an update rate of only 4 Hertz.
I have made shure that the data input is between +- 10V using a coerce function.
Occationaly (sometimes hours between fails) I receive Error Code -50000 (=conflicting parameters) after one of the DAQ-Write 1 Chl 1 Smpl VI .
Why?
Can it be a problem with multi-threading?

When you are using the DAQmx Write VI, are you setting the auto start input to false, or have you left it at its default of true. One thing I would recommend trying is to explicity start the task and set auto start to false, and see if this makes any difference. If you are writing within a loop, then this can also make your application run more efficiently.
To determine if the problem was a multithreading issue, you could disable multithreading within LabVIEW (Tools-Options, select Performance and Disk tab).
If you still have trouble, could you post the problematic portion of your VI that is causing the error?

ODS Activation Returns 0 records in the Change Log

Hi All,
I have question regarding the Change Log build after the ODS req has been activated.
BW system - SAP NetWeaver BI 7.0 - Level 15
Upon loading a delta request into the ODS and Activating, it adds no records to the change log table.But the active table gets correct records
Checks I Did
ODS -> Menu-> Environment -> Delete Change Log Data.
     No job scheduled or runing to delete the change log reqs (sm37)
RSRV - Check the Status of the Generated Program of a Data Store Object
ODS - reactivation to see if it works..
ODS Manage - Auto Req Processing set Quality status, Activate DSO to Yes.
The Activation Log shows at the end that they were no changed records added:
Data pkgs 000001; Added records 0; Changed records 0; Deleted records 0
Log for activation request ODSR_4APQQHKM459YNO7CIGCE0629U data package 000001...000001
Activation of records from DataStore object C_PUR_C sucessfully finished

Referring to the previous post:
I have a situation where few documents are not transferred to Change log during DSO Activation, though the After image values of these records are reflected in Active table.
I have found one common pattern for those documents which are not recorded in Change Log.
They have two pairs of After and Before image records.
First Pair like this: Eg: Overall status as the only data field.
Sales Doc     Overall Statuls   Recordmode

Second pair:

If we consolidate all these 4 records there seems to be no change for any data fields. Should I consider this as the standard behaviour while activating DSO - causing these records not to get recorded in change log?
Or is there any SAP Note that can make sure the change log gets populated in such case.
