I purchased an iPad 1 on February 4th and I have heard that if you recently bought an iPad 1 Apple was offering something for them. Can I return it or is Apple offering something for recently purchased iPad 1s?

If you bought it directly from Apple after, I think, February 18th (maybe 16th ?), then they are refunding 100 dollars. As you say that you bought yours on Feb 4th then that is too long ago (if I've got the cut-off date right) - you qre also outside of the 30 day return/refund period.

Recently purchase IPad Air, I tried to upload apps from previous iPad to iCloud but wasn't successful. Now I can't upload any apps. What should I do?

Recently purchased iPad Mini. Could not get it to connect. Changed router's setting to Channel 6 and IPad connected. Even after 6.0.2 it will not connect to some home networks although it will to public networks e.g. McDonald's.

I suspect the only reason the iPhone were still connected to the Linksys network is that they were before I "upgraded to iOS 6. My recently purchased IPad Air is not accepting it's own charger. It says the device is 'not certified'. Is there anything that I can do? It is the charger supplied with the iPad when purchased!

I recently purchased an IPad Air and it has been working fine for around 5 months. All of a sudden it has stopped charging and when I plug the charger in it displays a message saying,'this device is not certified and may not work correctly' (or similar). To be clear the charger is the same one that was supplied at time of buying the product and has worked fine up until now. I am loathed to buy another one as I have taken it back to where I got it from and tried a new cable and this did not work. Can anyone offer any advise? Thanks.

Ultimately if those things do not get it to work... the circuit board may be toast.
I've been hearing lately that people are having the same issue with their iPhones, a friend's experience with apple tech support in the store resulted in that explanation, and he was told to buy a new phone since it was over a year old.

I cannot seem to get the Apple Lakeside store to send me an email of my recent purchase (iPad2)(26 April 2011.
Have spoken to one of the managers by phone and have spoken to Applecare. When ringing the store seems that nobody answers the phone on extension 5, but is quickly answered on the business extension. Seems a bit of a shame, being an Apple fan that the shop is quickly turning into just another electrical superstore. Anybody got a clue as to how I can get an emailed Receipt for £514.00.

If the iPad is still unresponsive, you may need to restore it. However, if you are unable to connect it to iTunes successfully, we'll need to do a recovery mode restore:

Apple have a 14 day returns period for items bought from them, though some US stores are/were apparently allowing 30 days. If you bought it from a different store then you will need to check that store's returns policy.

There is a few events where I could see this happening...
It's possible if you computer is not authorized with your iTunes Store account it may not have transfered your purchases from the iPad to the computer. To check, Open iTunes> Select the "Store" menu along top of the program and select Authorize this computer. Sign in with your AppleID and password, this will make sure your computer is authorized for the future so you can transfer purchases from your device.

Hi, I have recently purchased an iPad 2 and only just found out after trying to use a Giffgaff sim card that it is locked to the Orange network in the UK. I don't want to be paying any extra over and above what I have already paid so my question is, is there any way to get the iPad carrier unlocked via apple or orange. I am waiting a call back from apple today and have read on the web that orange will charge me to unlock it.

Some iPads which were subsidized by the carriers are locked to the carrier, and in that case only the carrier can authorize an unlock. You'll need to talk to Orange, and pay their fee if necessary. They may well only unlock for the original purchaser, in which case you'll need to contact the person from whom you purchased the iPad. Apple can do nothing directly in the matter, since they can only issue the unlock when the carrier provides authorization.
