It shows, some user are getting RECON, but once RECON gets over, when I try to see related[b] Database table, it doesnt shows any updated users.

AD Recon problem

Hello,
I'm running a recon on AD and i've set up the samaccountname to map to accountId in the schema mappings so i can match on that...I've set up the situation responses in the recon poilicy to link if the resource is found/unassigned....but when i run the recon it says it ran succesfully and the status shows that it brought back users from the resource however it's not linking the users....in fact there's no record in the account index for anybody...has anyone encountered this b4 or any tips for troubleshooting this?

I amf acing the same error. The recon runs successfully but theusers r not getting created in IDM. I have the settings and everythign correct. I know this because the same settings worked for LDAP.

Unable to recon using FlatFile - peoplesoft Connector

Hi I am unable to do BulkUpload using FlatFile. The scheduler Task events are not being logged into log file,hence unable to see the error. I have checked all the configurations, seems to be correct. I am using Peoplesoft ER 9.1.0 and OIM 9.1.0.1 on Linux platform with Weblogic Server 10.3
I dont know how to get the logging working, I have checked log.properties and enabled everything needed.

Detailed Problem on iTunes not Reconizing

I have an iPod nano 2G that I got February of this year. I worked perfectly until about a week ago.
Long story short, iTunes won't reconize my nano. But my computer will only if my iPod is plugged in before the computer starts up, if the computer is already running, it won't reconize it.
If I plug the iPod up during iTunes running time, then I see nothing. But if I plug it up after the computer reconizes the iPod, I get the message that states I should re-install iTunes and such.
I have learned, however, that my iPod as no problems plugging into another computer.
Now, I have re-installed intunes by disk and by updating it to the most current version of iTunes and I get the same problem. I do notice that on the task manager screen, after I re-install iTunes, the iPodService.exe shows up, but dissapears after I start iTunes.
And yes, I have tried all of the 5 R's. Whats it the matter with my iTunes/Ipod?

Problem with GTC flatfile recon

Hi experts,
When i run Flatfile recon i get an unparsable error. my date attribtue in xl.defaultDatefomat yyyy/MM/dd but the dates in my flat-file dd/MM/yyyy is there any way i can fix this error?

I get the same error during GTC Flat file recon. "java.text.ParseException: Unparseable date: "2009/01/25"
my xl.defaultDateformat=yyyy/MM/dd hh:mm:ss z and source Date Format is given as yyyy/MM/dd(2009/01/25) and the date format in my flatfile is given as yyyy/MM/dd. But i still get this error.
I also tried with the following dates in flatfile
2009/Mar/25
2009/01/25
2009/March/25
Did I miss anything here!

You might have to add ldapbp.jar in the class path. either place it in jdk lib or oim ext lib directory.

Having problems with DVD being reconized...HELP PLEASE

Ok, I have been using these same DVDs for the last year with NO problems now for some reason after I updated my mac it is giving me an error. Its wierd because I insert the disk and it says you have insterted a blan DVD-R then I choose to open in finder then it gives me that error message. Any clues? I use tiyo yoden DVD-R. They have always worked great. What can it be...?

EBS Emp Recon connectors query.properties syntax problem

Environment:
OIM 9.1.0 running RHEL4 AS
OIM eBusiness Employee Reconciliation connector 9.0.4.1 with patch 6728655
Background:
I'm trying to reconciliate some attributes from tables which are not by default described on query.properties. I've find out that I have to describe new tables on getEmp2 section, but that is not enough. On bug 6407452, Oracle says that you also have to describe new tables last_update_date query on query.properties.
Question:
Could someone please give me some examples how to modify query.properties so, that we can reconciliate also from tables which do not include person_id field.

When I changed query.properties I ended up creating a view in the APPS schema of EBS which would return all the data that I needed.
When I build the getEmp2 it looks something like this:
getEmp2=FROM custom_view cv,gl_temp_table t,hr_all_organization_units WHERE cv.person_id = t.person_id and hr_all_organization_units.organization_id(+) = cv.organisation_id
For some reason I could not get the above to work without including the hr_all_organization_units table.

OIM 9.1 DB Recon Changes Locked Account status in OIM back to Provisioned

Hi,
I have a scheduled task that runs the OIM DBAccessReconTask but am seeing some unexpected behavior. Here are the steps to produce the error:
1. Provision a DB account to a user in OIM (this creates an account in the target database and the account shows in the user's resource profile with a status of "Provisioned")
2. Disable the DB account in OIM from the User's Resource profile screen (this successfully disables the account in the database and changes the account status to "Disabled")
3. Run the DBAccessReconTask
4. After the DBAccessRecon task completes the status of the DB account in the database is still disabled but in OIM on the user's resource profile screen it is marked as "Provisioned"
I did not expect this to be changed to provisioned in OIM since it is disabled in the database. Has anyone seen similar issues when running the DBAccessReconTask or know a way to fix this?

Thanks for the reply. Originally I thought your solution would work but after analyzing it closer there is a more fundamental problem we are having with the DBReconTask. We only want the reconciliation to take place going from OIM to the database and not vice versa (i.e. changes to an account in OIM should be pushed to the database but not from the database to OIM). However, currently if a change is made in the database (a role is added, the profile is changed, etc...) and the DBReconTask is run then it will be updated in OIM. Do you know how this can be achieved? These are the properties we currently use when creating the task:

New to this iPOD game, and having problems! Please help!

So I finally got my hands on a Nano yesterday, and ever since then some odd things have been happening. I would appreciate any help to the following questions/problems I've been having, because the applecare stuff does not seem to really be either helping or addressing my issues.
1. When starting iTunes, I was told (once it reconized my nano) that I neeed to install the new software for the nano, i expected this and downloaded it, and followed the directions. As soon as I did that though I started getting "Corrupted Error" messages in iTunes. To get this to stop I just reinstalled iTunes...I was able to transfer things now, but now the system does not seem to reconize that the nano has the new software, and asks if I want to install it, and when I do...(again) I start getting those corrupt errors again.
2. I will move some songs from my iTunes library, to my nano, and it says they transfer over. I then eject my nano from iTunes, wait for the "do not disconnect" to go away, and unplug it, and sometimes, my newly transfered songs are no longer on my nano. Am I doing something wrong?
3. I went to update my iPod with some playlists from my library, I went to the options, and said "only update from these lists" It updated my ipod...and deleted everything else off of it, and to add insult to injury, it only added the title of the play list, and NOT the actual song files
I know this is a lot, but I'm really frustrated, so any help would be appreciated.

Recon Account Error

Dear experts
I am facing the problem while posting Billing Document it ius giving the error for GL account 411004 that is Service tax payable A/c
System giving the error message as bellow
Account 411004 in company code 1000 is not a reconciliation account
Message no. F5355
Diagnosis
G/L account 411004 in company code 1000 which is to be updated when posting to the customer or vendor is not defined as a reconciliation account.
Procedure
Depending on the cause of the error you can
change the master record of the above-mentioned account and mark it as a reconciliation account
change the customer or vendor master record and enter a different reconciliation account there
for special G/L transactions, change the allocation of reconciliation accounts when configuring special G/L transactions.
I checked for GL account no 411004 its not a Recon A/C. In control data Recon A/c field is Blank but Opem Item Management is Maintained
In customer master data Recon Account is Maintained properly
Please help me to solve this Issue

Please check whether you have linked this account with any other recon A/c for config settings, which needs this account to be reconcilliation. or check for custmer master settings or check the settings for Service Tax in VKOA.

Change recon account and transfer of Open items from Old recon a/c to New recon a/c.

User want to change recon account for some customer and also wants the open items to be transferred to new recon from old recon account. We follow the following process:
Create a New GL Account for Adjustment Postings
Change the Customer Master Data with regard to new reconciliation account
Update the FI Auto Postings Configuration: Trxn: OBBW (Transaction Key: A00: Transfer postings: changed recon. acct) as under:
Old Reconciliation Account = Adjust Acct xxxx
New Reconciliation Account = Adjust Acct xxxx
4. Run FAGLF101 (ECC 6.0), with the intention, that the Balances / Open Items from OLD Recon would be MOVED to the NEW Recon.
When we execute the last step (4) in “Message” appears the following message:
“Account determination for transaction A00 is missing for account PV PUC
Message no. FR005”.
Where PV corresponds to valuation area and PUC is our chart of account. Furthermore, we run the process of foreign currency valuation at the end of the month.
What configuration is needed, If OBBW and OBA1 already been configured?.

Thanks for you answer. The link was helpful; however, today we find a solution to the error. In OBA1 when in the transaction appears a window requesting the chart of account, we chose the valuation area (option yellow arrow) and completed the configuration. With this, i could solve my problem, it was simple.
