Record disappears if two requests are activated together

Hello
Ods with key K is updared from ds1 and ds2 with addition mode. DS1 doesnt bring any records with key K. DS2 brings record with key K.
The record disapear if two requests are activated together.
The record is visible if requestes are activated separately.
Is it a normal behavior of SAP BI?

Using geocode in a map based on a view where two datasets are joined

Hi,
I'd like to create a map based on a view in which two datasets are joined, where one of the datasets has a geocode column.
Unfortunately this is not working... It seems that a custom view where two datasets are joined together where one of them has a geocode column makes the geocode column invisible for the map component.
The following cases do work but we like to combine them so that we can combine different datasets in Studio without using the Integrator:
- I can create a custom view in which we join two datasets > the view can be used as a source for different component but not the map component (it seems that the geocode column is not found)
- I can create a custom view with a geocode column in it and that one can be used as a source for a map
What I'd like to show is that it is possbile to have one datasets coming from a source system and that it is easy to combine an additional excel sheet with geo-information and maybe another excel sheet with different measures. This should be possible since you can join different datasets together in a custom view.

Oh sorry, we have two base views and one custom view:
base view TRIS_Omzet which gets it data from an OBI server and has data like revenue, customer, time, etc.
base view Endeca_Klanten which gets it data from an excel sheet, this view contains the name of the customer and the geocode of the customer's location
We created one custom view (Omzet_Geo) where the two base queries are joined together using the following query:

Our view definition in the GUI looks like the following, as shown in the screenshots the datatype of the coordinated column is a Geo column both in the base view and the custom view. However the view still can't be selected to be used as a source for the map component.

Request is active after all the records loaded

Dear Experts,
I am extracting data from R/3 through custom Data source. While creating data source, I used custom Function Module.
I have checked in RSA3, 9565 Records are available.
When I start extract from BW side all the records (9565) fetched, but request still in yellow. Same way I have checked in R/3 side in SM37 job status is Active (After 5 Hours also).
Please provide the solution.

in the monitor screen select that requestselect refresh request for 1 more 2 minutes. otherwise come out the screenwait for some time-go to that request check it out.

I have just downloaded itunes 10.6 and in the process my "podcast" option under library has disappeared! The files are still on my laptop. I can also see some of my recorded music in my itunes library but can play them - there is an exclamation mark next

Visibility of the Podcasts section is controlled from within the Edit > Preferences dialog.
Empty/corrupt library after upgrade/crash
Hopefully it's not been too long since you last upgraded iTunes, in fact if you get an empty/incomplete library immediately after upgrading then with the following steps you shouldn't lose a thing or need to do any further housekeeping. In the Previous iTunes Libraries folder should be a number of dated iTunes Library files. Take the most recent of these and copy it into the iTunes folder. Rename iTunes Library.itl as iTunes Library (Corrupt).itl and then rename the restored file as iTunes Library.itl. Start iTunes. Should all be good, bar any recent additions to or deletions from your library.
See iTunes Folder Watch for a tool to catch up with any changes since the backup file was created.
Missing tracks
Typically this can happen because a file or folder is accidentally shunted to the wrong location. iTunes can also get confused if it expects to be talking to an external drive which isn't there. If will often reset the default media folder location and may have trouble finding files in the old folders.
Select one of your tracks that is missing in action. Press CTRL-I to Get Info. Cancel when asked to try to locate the file, then look at the location given on the summary tab. This where iTunes thinks the file ought to be? Now find out where it actually is. Post back the two locations for comparison. I should be able to give you some steps to reconnect everything once I can determine which of the things that might have gone wrong is most likely in your case.
When you get it all working make a backup!

OIM11g R2 - If two roles (ACF2 and AD) are selected together for a user req

Hi ,
We are facing a problem In the Catalog, if two roles (ACF2 and AD) are selected together for a user and checking it out.The request goes to approval process.We have not created any approval process flow.
Plz let me know how to recover from it and provide an option to provision two roles simulaneously to a user without going into approval process.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Create a user in OIM .
2. Search that user.Administration->Users->Search User
3. Click on 'Roles' tab and select 'Request Role' under that tab.
4.'Catalog' tab opens .Click on Search icon and Add AD and ACF2 Role to the cart.
5. Click on 'Check out'
6. Click on Submit button
7. Request Summary tab opens with Request status shown as 'Obtaining Request Approval' and Request Type as 'Assign Roles'.
Note: If we assign AD and ACF2 individually to user and running Evaluate User Policies we are able to see account in Provisioned state under Accounts tab of User and request is not going to approval process

1. Request Type= Assign Roles
Level= Request Level
Auto Approval checked
Approval Rule=Requester.UserLogin Equals XELSYSADM
(Created this rule as i am logeed in as XELSYSADM)
2. Request Type= Assign Roles
Level= Operation Level
Auto Approval checked
All Scope Checked
Approval Rule=Request.RequestType Equals Assign Roles
After that i opened the user request role page and requested 2 roles (AD and ACF2).
But now also request went to approval work flow
Please point which step i have missed or any other step need to be performed.

One Request - Two Subject Area

Hi,
Is it possible to use two different SA for one request. I will be having a flag from table this flag will have my SA name it can be SA1 or SA2.
Based on this flag i need to change SA in the request.

currently we are using the same method as you said.
In our dashboard what I will see is any one request at a time.
But the problem is both the requests are hitting source, then BI server decides which request to display or hide based on Guided navigation results.
What I want is if my flag is SA1 then my query should fire only to SA1's source and viceversa
So thats why raised like One request - Two Subject Area.

Script Objects Disappearing when 2 or more XDP's are stitched together

We use Adobe Form Server.
We would like to use Script Objects in our forms. Unfortunately, when we stitch two or more forms together, only the first script objects [contained in the first form] remain. The other script objects [in each additional form] fall off.
The script objects are unique to the form and are named differently (ie. "GlobalFunctions_8190" vs "GlobalFunctions_200878").
How can we correct this? Is it how the Form Server was set up?
Please help.

Just in playing with it, I added an extra ${endif} at the end of the network section and the error went away. Since I only have one network connection, I don't know if it breaks something else or not.

When downloading video into FCP my two audio tracks are locked together.

When downloading HD video into FCP my two audio tracks are locked together. Channel one will not separate from channel two. Not good. One channel is my miked talent, the other abient. Any suggestions? I cannot find the problem. Sequence settings? Preference settings?

Downloading is when you copy a file from an Internet server to your computer.

Select the two tracks and choose Modify > Stereo Pair
Or you can just use the keyboard shortcut option-L

Erase-Suppress Barking When Two People Are Recorded

Hello one and all. I agree Adobe Audition is complex. The tutorial looks good as they even explain what sound is, exactly. Adobe paid $16.5 million for the rights to Cool Edit and renamed it Adobe Audition. I needed something like this for a cassette tape mistakenly recorded which sounds slow, fast and too quiet. I was willing to plunk down money for something like Audacity, which is absolutely free. Audacity doesn't gobble up program icons through file type associations like Audition does. I don't even understand what the Adobe Audition finer points are. I thrashed through Audacity by trial and error. I watched the movie "The Conversation". I was wondering if anyone knows if dog barks can be erased or suppressed from recordings of the human voice. In other words, if two people are talking and there are two dogs barking as the people are talking, can Adobe Audition eliminate the dog barking? And if one of the human voices is too quiet for 30 seconds, can Adobe Audition increase the volume of the quiet voice? Thank you for your time.

Audition costs money, Audacity does not. Audition is more complex than Audacity? I think that's fair, and what you'd expect, actually. Complex can sometimes be a good thing: it means that you have many tools and advanced options. That's great! That said, personally I do not find Audition overly complex; it's perhaps slightly different than Audacity, but basic editing is very smooth IMO. I get the general impression from you post that you should spend some time with the manual and/or actually walk through those tutorials. Then come back and judge.
Barking can be removed / muted when you use the Spectral view in Edit mode. Loud sounds can be seen as bright dots, and these can be painted away with the ordinary brush or the Healing brush. Takes some practice, but you can get amazing results, certainly.
"Can Adobe Audition increase the volume of a quiet voice?" Are you just kidding? I'm tempted to say "NO - of course not; it's WAY to complex!!!", but the real answer is yes.
If the quiet voice is half buried in noise, or is weak because it is recorded from a distance and hence drenched in reverb / room sounds, then you're up for a challenge (it it's not, i.e. a clean recording only too soft, then it's easy). It's difficult to remove artifacts and especially roomy sounds without compromising the voice, and this is true for even the most expensive software on the planet. You have just found what I am certain is the best tool available for this type of work within ordinary people's budget, in Audition. You'll find out.

TS1363 Our two iphones are no longer recognized on iTunes

Our two iphones are suddenly not being recognized on iTunes. In fact, when we go to "file", then "devices" and try to click on something under devices, it won't let us, i.e. nothing happens. Tried deleting iTunes and uploading again. Still didn't work. BEFORE we tried deleting itunes and downloading it again, I tried to go on itunes to sync my new upgraded iPhone 5c. No luck. Back before I upgraded from my 4s to the 5C (in January 2014) I had noticed that all my regular phone contacts had disappeared to be replaced by some of my facebook friends. It continued to still be that way up until yesterday, when I tried to sync my new phone to itunes. I ended up spending a VERY long time on live CHAT with Apple support. She suggested (after helping me for a LONG time) that I delete itunes from my desktop and download it again. She led me thru the steps to delete and download again. We knew that in the course of this help, we would lose our chat. After re-downloading itunes, I still couldn't find my iphone on itunes. Last night I requested a call from apple support. They called promptly and to make a long story short, he had me go thru the process of deleting my phone and then reloading my phone to the most recent sync, which was in January fo 2014, thinking that all my original phone contacts would be there, and everything would be fine. At the time, itunes appeared to be working (with this young man's help). I had one more backup listed on my itunes account from July 2013, so he said to try syncing my phone to THAT backup date. It didn't bring up an error code, but said it had "failed."
So off and on all day today, I have been plugging my phone in and trying to find it on iTunes. Nothing, nothing, nothing. Very frustrating. I am wondering if going in person to an Apple store would help me more, and if THEY would be able to get my old contacts back. BUT that still doesn't help with not being able to find our phones on itunes.
Any ideas?

Shouldn't be a problem. I'm syncing two iPhone 4 units, an iPad, and an old iPhone 3G used as an iPod. All can be synced at the same time. You might need/want to rename the 3G if you kept the same name for your iPhone 4.

Two CalType not working together

Hi,
I have one pricing procedure. I have created two 971 & 981 routines (CalType) as per my requirements. The issue is that both the routines are not working correctly if they are assigned together is the pricing procedure. But if I assign any one of them only then they work work together.
I tried putting the Break-Point in both the routines and found that the control is passed to the first routine i.e 971 only and not 981 when it's corresponding condition type is entered.
I have activated both the routines nad executed the report RV80HGEN also.
Kindly advise a solution. Thanks

Data got duplicated with two requests.

I have loaded data two times one week back. Data got duplicated with two requests.
how can I remove one request.
If i delete one request it will affect next load. getting error again of the deleted request.
Please suggest.

Hi,
If you have loaded to cube, you select that request and delete it or you can go for selective deletion by giving the request ID.
If you have loaded to DSO / ODS, you need to delete the record based on only selective deletion. you cannot delete the request.
You should be able to do without anyproblem. What is the error you are getting when loading the next request.

Augmented records disappear

I am trying to integrate Lion Server Open Directory with Active Directory.
I can create augmented records in /LDAPv3/127.0.0.1/Augments, either directly using dscl or through Server.app's function to import users from another directory.
However, after I reboot the server, all augmented records disappear.
I've been going after this simple goal for many hours, without success. I've gone so far as to do a clean reinstall of Lion Server. But nothing I have been able to do will change the fact that augment records do not persist through reboots.
I wonder if this is a bug in my procedure, or in Lion Server. Can anyone confirm that persistent augmented records can be created in Lion Server?

I too have experienced disappearing augments, with 10.7.2. On my last attempt however, I made a brand new NetInstall of 10.7.2 (as outlined here) and the augments seemed to persist.
However, augments, although still supported by Apple, seem to work very differently in Lion.
The scenario we have is that we need to log in with AD credentials, and if you're on a Mac, the home folder is mounted from a Lion Server via AFP (we leave the original AD home folder in their profile in Windows untouched, so they can happily go back to Windows) Essentially two home folders.
This was all fine under 10.6 but the "merge" that used to happen on Snow Leopard (i.e. seeing your augments from a dscl search on a boound client) doesn't work as intended, at least not yet.
From Apple's official documentation you can create an augment on a server and connect to that server with credentials on the "master" server. This has to be done now in order to become a member server in an AD domain. Simple example would be... I have a Windows AD user called "bobjones" if I try to access an AFP share on a Lion server using bobjones, it doesn't work, even if the server is bound to AD. You have to create the augment first, then you can access the AFP share.
What I was expecting from augments is a way to "bolt on" various attributes, which would allow me to access my Lion server with AD credentials, this is essentially what Apple say in the on-line guides. First thing I want to do is "bolt on" a Mac home folder, like we did in 10.6 server... that worked great.
Anyway sorry to hijack your thread slightly, but I seemed to have solved the disappearing augments problem by doing a clean install, but I wish to expand upon this to create proper augments which would be great when integrating your Macs into large Windows systems...

during ODS activation,if there are more than one requests which are unactivated,then..
if this checkbox is ticked..after activation..each request will appear individually(with its unique request ID) in the requests tab of ODS..
if this checkbox is not ticked,then during activation..multiple requests will be activated at one go..and will appear as a single request ID in the requests tab of the ODS..
example..unactivated request ID's 2,3 and 4.
checkbox ticked..after activation..in requests tab..2,3,4.
if checkbox not ticked..in requests tab..no 2 or 3.shows only one request ID(4)..no. of records of 2,3 and 4 get added up in 4.
