Record/Record Repeat Issue

I have a key mapped to 'Record/Record Repeat'. I'll record a section. Then I'll start recording over it, to create a comp. A dialog asks me if I want to delete or keep the audio I'm recording over. The original audio is then removed from the arrange window, or delete based on my selection unless I hit cancel - then it starts recording. If I deselect the audio during the recording, the behavior stops and it works fine. So it only seems to happen if i have the region I'm comping with selected.

I am having the same issue, I think.
When I begin recording with a track selected (merge recording w/selected track is on) it records. If I push my record repeat but, instead of recording over what I had just recorded in the previous take, it deletes the whole region. I don't even get a prompt. This seems to be a new bug, or maybe a setting I have wrong?

I came across this prob today too.
I did some digging, maybe it is something with the window type, this prob only occurs when the type of the window is continuious, and it is only possible for the main window to be set to the continuious type.
The only way, as far as I know, is that you can put those your wanna print in a text element. And by doing so, the prob is gone. But, do pay attention to those are not continuious type windows, and remember that they are variable. The content of the windows like those, are only kept until the next write_form is called to repaint the window content and any content of the ex-window would vanish without a trace. And if you also put the content of the variable windows in a text element, there will be some format confusion getting in the way.
That is all I got, But I still have no idea about the course.

u may need to debug to find out where and when the error exist pls note the following
Error Message: FRM-40357: Invalid string in example record. Query not issued.Error Cause:In query mode, you entered an invalid ALPHA or CHAR value in the example record.
Action:Correct the entry and retry the query. Level: >25
Type: Errorpls verifying that u r entering 1 char for global variable to be assigned so any number between 2single coat is considered a character not s number .

Filter same record in Repeat Region

I would like to know how to filter same record in repeat
region so that it only display once. I hv a table use repeat region
to display 3 fields (title, date, time). My first page only display
title field and when user click on the record at title field, it
will pass URL parameter to second page which will display title and
date filed and when user click on the record under date field it
will again pass URL parameter to third page which display all
field. I want same date in the date field only display once. I try
to use GROUP by date, it works but i cant click the date to pass
URL parameter. Any help would be appreciated.

Records are repeatedly loading for RDA DataSource

Iam trying to load the data for custom datasource into DSO . This datasource is real time enabled one .
Eventhough there is no new records are created in ECC system , the real time datasource getting the same number of old reocrds dailiy . I mean , the records are repeatedly loading into the DSO object .
Why the records are repeatedly loading into the DSO object for real time datasource .

Hi,
In RSO2 click on a'GENERIC DELTA' and select the Time stamp and give the lower limit and upper limit
and if you are loading the data into DSO then select the radio button is "New Status of changed record"
if you are loading the data into CUBE then select the radio button is "Additive Delta".

Merge Data Multiple records problem (repeats data)

I'm tring to creat some cataloge pages with 4 images, codes, dicritons etc per page.
i have a excel sheet which I've saved to a CSV file for a data source. i have a single page with the first record at the top and enogh room to repeat the record 4 times on the page. When I do the data merge I'v selected multiple records per page and put in all the settings and spacings I want.
Everything looks fine when i click on the multiple reports prevew but when i do the actual merge most of the merges copy the same data with only a few records using different data. It's generating the correct number of records and pages with 4 records per page but repeatiing the same record,except for 2 records which were different before going back to the repeated record. Also the record it repeats is not the first record on the list, it's about the 6 of 16.
I'm using CS5 version of Indesign.
Any one have any sugestions to get it working corrctly or is this a fault wiyh CS5?

Series Link on recording records the repeat - How ...

I always find whenever a programme is repeated the next day or a few days later, it will record the repeat then the next episode. Some shows have more than one repeat so the Vision box will record all the repeats.
That never used to happen on Sky+. Is there any way of preventing the repeat from being recorded?
It has happened with shows I have recorded such as Pramface on BBC Three, Police Interceptors on Channel 5, That Sunday Night Show on ITV1 and Father Ted on More 4.
Please would somebody be able to tell me if there are changes you can make to your record setting so that only one episode of a programme is recorded without any repeats of the same episode from being recorded?

P.S. Is there any way of finding out how much spare disk space you have left on your Vision box like Sky+ that shows it as a percentage?

This is a known bug. It will be fixed. If you have a DTT strength meter then you don't have the new software. How long have you had your box?

DW CS3 Insert Record/Update Record: Record Form Wizard Error

I have just bought Dreamweaver CS3 and I am running into some
problems. I also have Dreamweaver MX 2004. When I use the Insert
Record: Record Insertion Form Wizard on my Dreamweaver MX 2004 I
have no problems using the Insert Record function. However, when I
use the Dreaweaver CS3, I am running into errors. The error I am
getting is the following..."Apache HTTP Server has encountered a
problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."
As well, when I use the update form wizard, when you place
all your settings and place a redirection after updating to a page
it does not do it, it stays on the same page and gives me the
following error..."Warning: Cannot modify header information -
headers already sent in C:\wamp\www\edit.php on line 50".
This happens on all internet browsers when I want to insert a
new record. It takes a long time to load the page and then it
finally gives me an error which I stated above. I never had a
problem before. I thought maybe I installed the application wrong,
so I unistalled and reinstalled the DW CS3. I still get the same
issue. I became so frustrated that I formatted my hard drive
thinking make I have a adware or spyware, so to be cautious I
formatted my computer and installed everything with a fresh install
and still I get this error. Now my testing server that I use is
called WAMP. I never had problems with it before using DW MX 2004
or when I used the trial of DW 8. So now I am out of options. Is
there a glitch in the new CS3 Web Premium that includes DW CS3
upgrade software and if there is, is there a download. Can anyone
help me, please.

Please bare with me David. I know something is wrong because
I have made two folders, one that is done in MX2004 and the other
done in CS3. CS3 is generating errors. For example. In the insert
page in MX2004 I do not need to make a recordset, however, for the

how can i write a query which displays the records records which are coming more than once on the basis of fields comp_id and branch_id. e.g. 1000 | 1 should be displayed because it is coming more than once. 1000 | 3 should not be, because it has a single entry.

6234 : voice recorder recording time

does anyone know how I can re-parametrise my 6234 voice recorder recording time limit on my memory card ?
when I switch the voice recorder from the the telephone card (1.2Mo) to the memory card (64Mo of which only 26Ko is used; ie memory left = 59.7Mo), the recording time span is set to 60:00 - ie 60 minutes only.
ie how can I change that setting of 60:00 minutes to be greater than 60:00 minutes ? eg 120:00 minutes etc etc?

I'd venture a guess that the 3GS has the horsepower to encode AAC in realtime, where as the 3G does not.
I don't think you are losing much in the way of AAC vs. ALAC, given the limitations of the mic, and you have a lot more capacity.

Multiple record update extension issue (felixone

I just purchased the Multiple Records at Once Extension by
Felixone. I have put it to good use but have noticed an issue with
it. PHP MySQL.
I am using Dreamweaver 8 with the Repeat Region behaviour,
and the Recordset Navigation Bar, along with the extension to
update multiple values at once from a recordset.
If there are more records than can be displayed on the first
page of navigation. E.g. Showing records 1-10 of 15, when doing a
multiple table update (in this case changing a single value from 0
to 1 and vice versa) a MYSQL error comes up. The operation is still
completed but it doesn't go to the page specified after the update
in the extension, but stays on the current page with the following
error at the top:
You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that
corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to
use near '' at line 1
In the mean time, to overcome the issue, I am able to display
all records on a single page, however once the records build up it
won't be acceptable to have a potentialy very long list of records
when I would like to display only 15 at a time.
Has anyone had any experience of this, and if so would you be
willing to help me. I have emailed felixone but I need this sorting
out ASAP.
Notice I have changed the show results to 5000, as going into
the repeat region behaviour and saying 'show all' would not do
anything. It always put it back to ten.

How to find out no. of records or repeating frame in a page

Hi All,
How do I find out how many records have been displayed on a particular page?
I'm having a repeating frame, and I want to know print another item, on a condition that if the records printed on the page are less than 5 then it should be printed otherwise not.
The item to be printed is not a part of the repeating frame whoz occurences have to be counted.

You can create a Packaged varaible that acts as
global variable , and you can increment this
variable in the repeating frames Format Trigger .
Based on the value of the variable , you can
return true or false for the item that you want to
display .
