Nope, but nice idea. 6 months ago a chinese mobile company introduced such capabe phone in our country. It would be great but is not possible.

I was wondering if there's a way to extract records from a text file using regular expressions matching groups in Endeca Integrator.
I have several XML files and I have mapped and extracted records from them using XML Reader component, but I need to preserve the tags of mapped elements. For example, if I have the following XML:
<Msg><Para>Some text. <Emphasis>More text</Emphasis><Para></Msg>
mapping Msg element to an output cloverField will return "Some text. More text". I need to preserve tags, so I need an output like: "<Msg><Para>Some text. <Emphasis>More text</Emphasis><Para></Msg>",
I don't know if there's a way to accomplish this by modifying the setting of the XML Reader component, but I was thinking of using regular expressions to solve this. Unfortunately, I can't find a way to do it by using the built-in components in Integrator.
The final solution is do it programmatically without using Integrator, but I want to know if I'm missing something.

Recording from DAT using SB Conn

Long time ago I have recorded DAT tapes using my Denon DTR 2000. I used digital recording from CD for that.Now I am considering using SB Connect for burning CD's (DAT?is such an old stuff?don't want to loose my recordings). Anyone has tried anything like that? Any problem with SCMS?

Which input on the back of the card did you use? The Line-in is the stereo input. Ensure that you have the cable fully inserted on both ends. Also check with another source such as a CD player or personal radio. This will tell you if the tape player may be sending only the left, or if the input jack is failing.

Recording records from stero using gb

i was able to record the record succesfully from my stereo to my computer but i'm having trouble breaking down the album into multiple tracks. Right now when i put it into my itunes it shows as one 30 minute track instead of 13. any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks

first, to make multiple tracks, you would want to make multiple songs. so when you have the entire sound file, go and click the button with the scissors and the wave in the bottow left corner. then go to the part of the large track where you want to slice it up. then, in th window at the bottom where the sound waves are magnified, then select the track in the bottom window, by holding down, and select from where you want the first track to end, to the begining. then click the selected part, and it becomes its own track. then copy that new track, open a new song, and paste it in the new song. that should work forall the parts.

There is no problem with the SQL query because I can able to get 40,000 records..

Now i can able to fetch more than 80,000 records but the output what i am getting is not in the format which we are looking for..

How to handle the failed records from the table when using DB Adapter

Hi,
I am reading some records from table using DB Adapter inside my synchronous BPEL process. Say like reading 100 records from table in between after successful reading of 90 records an error occured in 91st record due some various reasons(like DB down, Connection interrupted etc.). Then how to handle this situation, whether i have to read all the records from the begining and is there any option to continue from where it stopped reading.
Can please anybody help me out in the regard?

we had the same requirement some time ago and had two option:
1. ask the R/3 development team add a deletion indicator in the table (and thus not actually deleting the record). this deletion indicator could then be used like for any other standard datasource
this option was however refused, due to huge data volume after a while
2. at the end of the load we copied the ZTABLE1 to ZTABLE2. then in the begin of the load (day after) we compare the data of table1 to table2. entries available in table2 but not in table1 are deleted, and we put a 'D'. in deletion indicator; as we only keep the deleted entries for one day, the volume of the new table is acceptable.

Delete blank records from the cube

Hello;
We just upgraded from 3.5 to 7.0. When we started running our queries for the Inventory cube, we were getting an error message of "Error: The validity interval has the initial value as lower limit".
When I checked the cube, I found records that were blank, such as no dates, plants, etc.. I then tried to see if I can delete those records, but I cannot find a way to do this. Can someone tell me how to delete the blank records or any records from the cube directly? When I run the queries from the ODS, I do not get any errors at this time.
Any information, suggestions or HELP is greatly appreciated.

Hello Maximina,
You could try writing in some code that would delete the records which have some fields as blank in the start routine of the transformation that connects the ODS to the cube . So that the next time you load data from the ODS to the cube .. they would stay deleted .

How to delete record from table control using BDC?

I am running a BDC program to delete records.
I have file with following records and i got these records into t_itab.
Material     Plant     Start date     End date     Cost

MQ100008     S003     09/01/2008     09/31/2008     57.00
Now, I have BDC transaction in which table control screen which contains following structure.

MQ100002     S002     09/01/2008     09/31/2008     56.00
MQ100004     S003     09/01/2008     09/31/2008     47.00
MQ100005     S004     09/01/2008     09/31/2008     25.00

I have recorded from SHDB in which first record will be delete.
So, when i loop through t_itab,instead of deleting MQ100001,MQ100004 and MQ100008 from BDC screen,
it is deleting MQ100001,MQ100002 and MQ100004 (first record for each process ).
Which i don't want to.
Is there any facility in BDC to put records on top which i want to delete?
Please guide me.

One option is to identify the table and find out the location as the number of row which should be deleted from the table and then in the bdc program instead of postioning the cursor on the row 1(using the statement perform bdc_cursor ....(01)), replace the 01 with the row number.
Second option is that if a filter control is available for the table control, then filter the data each and every time with the material number to be deleted and then delete the first row.

Anyone ever try recording from PS3 to Mac using EyeTVHD ?

I am connecting my PS3 with a multi AV cable to the back of my PS3 and connecting the blue green red cables to the EyeTVHD but I always get a NO SIGNAL message on the Mac.
Has anyone tried this and got it to work?
Is it possible to record games, regular dvds, and bluray using this setup ?
Which are possible and which are not ?
I can record from my regular dvd player ( but picture only - no sound )
The back of the dvd player has a digital video out but I believe EyeTVHD only accepts analog input. So not sure how to get sound if that is the case.
If anyone can help with the PS3 connections or the dvd player sound - much thanks.
Is the only way to record bluray to purchase a bluray writer and would the bluray writer work with the PS3 using EYETVHD with the Mac - man it's really getting confusing now.

That's probably because, as you describe your setup, nothing is connected to the Mac.

Here are the steps for AirPlay:
Before starting Azul from your (running iOS 5.x/6.x) home screen where have have all your apps we need to turn on mirroring
On your iPhone 4S/5 or iPad 2 or 3, double-click the Home Button to view your recently-used apps.
Swipe all the way to the right to until you see the icon.
Note: If the icon does not appear, go to the "If AirPlay Mirroring is not visible or available on your mobile iOS device" section.
Tap the icon to see the list of available AirPlay devices.
Enable AirPlay Mirroring in this menu by tapping on an available Apple TV, then sliding the Mirroring slider to ON.
Now you should be seeing your iPad/iPhone on your TV.
Start up Azul now and using the settings icon on the top right corner go to the option that say "TV out" ON.
When you do that you will see an Orange screen
Now click "Done" and play the video you want to watch and it will AirPlay

This is how I resolved the issue.
1) Requested ABAPer to provide me sorted data. The data has been sorted in descending order of actual_cost.
2) After that I used following code. This resolved the issue.

Problem when recording from the AUX phono output using creative x-fi elite

Hello everyone?Hopefully someone will be able to help me out here, as I've tried everything, however nothing seems to work. I am using the x-fi elite pro on a windows vista ultimate PC. When recording analogue material, from a tape Dec, for instance, I am using the creative audio console which accompanies the x-fi elite pro. I am using the aux phono input on the back of the box, and everything has gone smoothly until a few days ago. When trying to record from my tape Dec this last week, I suddenly noticed that the sound was very distauted in the left channel. Right channel was fine.Of course the first thing I checked was the level, and this was absolutely fine too, both channels were set to around 50% in the sound-options control-panel. I then checked the cable and then tried it on other equipment as well, and everything was also fine here. I then re-connected it to the audio consul, but got the same results. Fine sounding audio in the right channel, but distauted in the left. I then tryed re-installing the newest vista-driver to see if this would solve my problem, however it didn't. Now I've only got audio in the right channel, but no audio at all in the left. Has somebody inhere experienced anything simurlar, and if yes, can you please tell me what could be wrong??All the best from Allan

On certain mobo/graphics card set ups and some sound cards there is an issue with bus latency. In short while playing back audio you will hear a frequent crackling of the audio. That is not the same as the slight click the Elite pro makes when changing modes. It has been a Creative issue for many years but is only present with certain combinations of hardware. I have experienced that issue myself but several years ago. My current Elite Pro/PC set up does not have this issue.
