Records created locally - is there a reliable way to report on this?

We need to run a report and return Order records that were created locally only (not online).
I wondered if there is a reliable way to check if records were created on the remote client vs. the online client?
e.g. is there some field which is only set locally, or function that works differently locally to online?
The only thing we came up with so far was, for a limited number of orders, the Order Number for local orders (which is based on: Expr: 'RowIdToRowIdNum ([Id])') appears to create differently formatted order numbers locally to online (but is that by design?) and will it be reliable?
Or is there another method to see were the orders were created?

You can read more on ROW_ID's on Supportweb: What is RowID/ROW_ID, and How is it Generated and Used? [ID 476256.1]
It looks like the Corporate Prefix is different for local databases and it looks like it's by design.
"The corporate prefix will always be unique for any database (main or local). The server maintains its original value, and mobile databases created against that particular server database are always assigned a new, unique value."

Following the instructions for reporting an issue with a purchase problem, when selecting "report a probelm", I am not provided with a drop down list, I am redirected to the help page instead.
Is there any other way to report an issue where the app owner has taken the funds twice for the same product at literally the same time?

I have a Sansa mp3 player that is full of tunes I would like to transfer to itunes. I've read other forums, but they are a bit old. Is there  a new way I can do this?

You will need to consult the documentation for the Sansa to learn how to get the tracks off of the player onto your computer. Once they're on the computer, either drag the tracks into the iTunes window or use the Add to Library command under the File menu.

  • Is there a reliable way to determine if the content of a page is a jpeg image?

I have a need to readily detect that the content of a particular page is a JPEG image.......
Is there a way to ascertain this as I am processing each page ?

I see - something more like the following code ? -
Thanks Leonard - I can see that this will take a while but - it is good to know that I am on the right path to start out.
I suppose that I can use the dump type to see what a jpeg looks like , etc.
    Thanks again .

  • Is there a reliable way to move 10.5.8 files to mavericks (10.9.5)

Moving files from iMac 10.5.8 to iMac 10.9.5 via Migration assistant is worthless. Likewise using Time Machine backup on external disk. On the
Mavericks device MA complaints the older machine needs updating, however the older machine does recognize the new (ethernet connect).
Mavericks Time Machine keeps looking for a viable backup, won't read the one designated. Ptui on all of it. Looks like the only means availble
is to copy files to intermediate device, then to the new. Then figure out where the files go....

Hi, true, you cannot migrate from 10.5.8 to 10.9.5, you can only migrate from 10.5 to 10.6, then from 10.6 to a higher OSX.

  • Is There an Easy Way to Report Bugs on the iPhone from the iPhone?

An iPhone bug can be reported through the Apple website, although not immediately obvious. (Click on Contact Us/Product Feedback [oddly placed in the "website feedback" box lower right]/iPhone [image]/Bug Report [in pulldown menu for "Feedback Type"].)
But is there anyway to easily report a bug on the iPhone itself? Sometimes, when a program crashes on my iMac, I am automatically offered the option of sending a bug report [with details inserted by the computer primarily, not me] to Apple. I don't recall seeing this happen on the iPhone, even though apps have suddenly reverted back to the main App icon catalogue (which seems to me like a crash) and other mysterious things have happened from time to time. I know that I could try to file a bug report by going into the Apple website on the iPhone, but that is awkward, slow, and undesirable. Does Apple have a "bug reporting" app?
I have ideas about the way I think Apple should make all bug reporting easier, more informative, and more transparent, but as I understand the Apple discussions policy, I am not supposed to use discussions to suggest new approaches.
The immediate reason I ask this topic's question is that my wife, who has the same iPhone 3G model as I have, upgraded to IOS 4.1 and has problems with her calendar and photos (to which we have found ungainly temporary fixes that have to be used each time the app is opened). So far, I have deferred upgrading to avoid these problems (and others which have been reported in assorted discussion threads). But when the problems occurred, I had to search for some enlightment as to whether the problems were unique, if not what fixes were available, and if Apple had issued a patch or revised IOS (as far as I know, they have not) -- on my iMac (in the discussions because I found nothing relevant elsewhere on the Apple site). I suddenly realized that I did not know how to realistically report a bug without a computer.
PS - Has anyone noticed that there is no Discussions category for iPhone IOS?

Good idea. I've already used the feedback for my general suggestions to improve the way Apple handles bug reports (and tried sending it to Steve Jobs too), but I'll send a specific suggestion for a bug app on the iPhone.
However, my question is whether there is a simple way to send bug reports from the iPhone now that I have overlooked.

  • I have an iphone 3G, is there really no way i can update this to ios 6?

I just got this iphone 3, and i cant download any aps because i dont have ios6, is there anyway i can get it?

No.  the iPhone 3G simply cannot run iOS6.  it can't even run iOS5. It just does not have the required resources like memory and processor power.
The 3G was released in 2008 (over 5 years ago), for all intents and purposes the iPhone 3G is at the end of its useful life
However depending on what you want to download there may still be some Apps that wiill run on iOS 4.2 for it you can install, but not many.  You will have to search the App store for them though.

  • TS1702 New i phone maps, is backwards, there is no way you can use this app now. bad idea to launch something without doing more research.

this app you cannot use now, bad idea before releasing it.

It takes two sides to agree, I seriously doubt it was ever going to happen. Or they have demanded some outlandish amounts as they are trying to do with Motorola Mobility patents.
I honestly don't think there is anything wrong with the app, there is a lot wrong with the geobase from TomTom. And I'm sure it will be fixed, just like Google Maps was. Do you remember when it was first released?

Something like a consistent registry key or a some other way. I did think of looking up the share SMS_sitecode but wondered if there was a better way?

  • Re:- XMII is there a way todynamically create local or transaction variable

    Dear all,
Is there a way to create local or transaction variable dynamically inside the BLS transactions.
I have a scenario where in i am reading the XMl document and based on the number of node (sub node ) items i need to temporary save those values into transaction variable .  I want to use these saved transaction variable tvalues o later insert into database

After reading your second post, I wonder why you want to temporarily store the separate values from the XML node in a local property.
If you already have all values available in a XML, than it would be easier to process the XML directly in MII, as that is what MII does best. MII can directly access the node values and use it as input for your databse inserts. Using a repeater action, you can process 0 to n nodes. Use XPath to transfer the node values to the query parameters.
Is this the option you are looking for, or do I miss something?

  • Is there an easier way to create a local variable?

I want to create a local variable, but I don't wont to have to find the terminal first and then use the option create-local variable. Is there a way to make a copy of an existing local variable? If I use the CTRL-C and CTRL-V option another terminal is created too.

    > Great! That was exactly what I wanted. It even works if more than one
    > variable is selected.
This may not apply in your situation, but I feel obliged to make this
warning anytime I see this sort of posting. If you find yourself making
too many local variables, it is worth checking to see if you are doing
    things the best way.
If you are using the locals for communication between parallel loops or
for UI -- writing to controls, then keep trucking. That is why they
were added. If you are using them as storage locations, like variables
in BASIC or C, or to avoid wires, then you should definitely read the
devzone article about race conditions and the usage of globals/locals.
If not, you will probably find yourself with some monument
    al debugging
    sessions later on.
If you have questions, fire away.

  • Is there any other way to achieve per user call forward restriction other than to create multiple voice policies?

    Hello,
We mentioned the environment details below:
    Environment
In our PBX environment, currently a user can forward calls to any local (within a region) internal extension. But for external PSTN call forwarding, a user needs to send a request and be approved by their manager. And the forwarding restriction
is applied such that user is only allowed to forward to that particular PSTN number - to prevent toll fraud.
Moving forward to Lync, using voice policy's call forwarding and simultaneous ring PSTN usages, I can set it to allow forward and simultaneous ring to custom PSTN usage and a custom route that will only send calls to these pre-approved
    external numbers.
    Outcome
    But in such a scenario,
sSince all the custom external allowed numbers will have to be put into a single Route match table, User A will be able to successfully
set up call forward to User B's number. (if they come to know about it somehow, that is)
    rü
Route matching list will be very long due to the number of users per hubsite that has call forwarding enabled.
    Questions
Is there any other way to achieve per user call forward restriction other than to create multiple voice policies ? MSPL may be ?
    2. Is there a limit in the number of entries you can have on the Route pattern matching regex expression ?
    Please advise. MANY THANKS.

    1) I think multiple policies may be your best bet, though it's not a fun one to manage, I agree.  MSPL could do it, but it would be more complex to maintain in the end.  Even gateways have limitations on routes.
    2) I'm not aware of a limit, though I'm not saying there's isn't one.  But if you hit it, you could move to a second usage/route combo.
I'd suggest building out some PowerShell usage/route creation/organization script for this so it's not something that would need to be maintained within the GUI.
