Recover responses to the forms

Hi, I create a form and sent to some people but right after I had to re  install the operative system so now I don't know how to recover all the  responses to my form that I'm sure I had from my friend. I need to know  how to see all my responses now. Thank you very much for your help.

It would help to know how you were collecting the responses. There are too many options for you to assume we know what you did. If you reinstalled the OS, does that mean your hard drive was formatted?

  • SOAP XML Response in the form of JSP

    Hi,
    I am using a command in Websphere Commerce(WC) as "WebServices Provider " .For new users command is WC specific java program which takes input and throws back the result to the calling program.
    when a client sends a SOAP xml request to WC WebService Command,it sends back the SOAP XML response in the form of JSP to client.The Client is in Microsoft .Net language.
    My Question is:
    1)How the client is interpreting the SOAP XML response in JSP.
    2)Since the client being a .Net provider,to understand this response,he has to make any extra
    configuration ???
    Can somebody in the forum can help me in this regard.

    I am assigned with one project that is based on SOAP,I dont know abc of this technology.How the events are handled by SOAP....Etc Etc....
    Just eloberate What is ment by SOAP.Why it is used.

    Hi,
    Please suggest me to make all the forms at a user level or responsibility level to be read only. So that when a particular user logs in, he gets all the form in read only mode or at a particular responsibility all the forms are read only so that we can attach this responsibility to the user for the same purpose.
    Any ideas will be highly appreciated.

    Yes, you can print the response in a PDF by following the steps suggested below.
    1) Go to the response file
    2) Select the response you want to print
    3) Click on Save as PDF button and it would save the selected response in PDF format.

  • Using FormsCentral can you have a response sent to a specific email address based on an answer within the form?

    For example if the respondent chose blue as his favorite color the form response should be sent to Bob. If the respondent answered red, it should go to Susan.

    Sorry we don't support conditional notification. You either get notifications (if you are on this list) or you don't.

    You can go to Responses view tab, focus on your last column header and then click menu Table->Add Column After. Or you click + button at the end of table - refer below image.
    I am not clear your question "How do I insert the header titles?" Do you mean you want to use your form title as data value in each cell in the column? If yes, you can set formula in the column following below steps.
    1. Click +Add a Row button
    2. Focus on the cell on column L (I assume you want to set your formular on this column).
    3. Input ="your form title" into the cell
    Then after you received a submission, the form title would display in the related cell in each row.

    Adobe Reader XI did not save the form data (unlike previous versions). Any way to recover filled form with data from temp locations?
    I was not aware that ctrl+s no longer works in reader and closed the PDF after savign it(with ctrl+s). However ,the data is lost and there seems to be no way to recover it.
    I cannot find any temp files created by Reader on my system.
    Also to my surprize(and shock), the reader did not even show a warning before closing the PDF. Does anybody know if/where can I recover the file from?
    Guys, Please reply ASAP if you have got any sort of solution!

    Hi Pat,
    Are you using Adobe Reader XI? And not Acrobat. It does not ask me to save the form if there are unsaved changes.
    I have used previous versions of reader for saving this form data and it did allow me to save it with ctrl+s. And those versions did prompt me to save the changes before closing.
    I guess I should not have updated the reader.

    Unfortunately FormCentral and Echosign are two different services and forms created in Forms central can only be submitted via and to Forms Central.
    We cannot have the form filled in using FormCentral and get it signed using Echosign.
    However, you can use Echosign directly and you can get most of the functionality.

  • Columns' positions do not match in pdf form compared to the "View Response" tab in Form Central

    I think I understand why this happened. And I am loookng for workarounds.
    For example, let's say in the beginning you have five fields (A, B, C, D, E) in your form. Later on, you decided that you need to add two more fields says A1, and C1, and now the fields are as follow A, A1, B, C, C1, D, E. After you submitted the form to Adobe Form Central, you take a look at the "View Responses" tab, and you realize the order of the columns are as follow A, B, C, D, E, A1, C1.
    I believe this happened because the new fields A1, and C1 were added later. But I am wondering what are the workarounds?

    Yes, it does work in Acrobat Reader. I'm just trying to determine if this is a recent bug in Tiger (like maybe because of the 10.4.9 update) or if it's something related to the particular version of Acrobat the file was created in.
    I haven't had to have Acrobat Reader on any of my Mac's since Jaguar.

    Can responses be saved even if the user does not click submit and abandons the form?
    SurveyMonkey does this and it is very useful, especially for longer surveys, where users might abandon the survey without completing it. SurveyMonkey seems to do it when the page is advanced.
    I hope this is possible.

    Thanks for pointing out that request. It is similar but not the same.  I've added a comment there.  The difference is that the other request is for the users to be able to click a save while  I'm asking for the form to automatically save partial responses to the server. Similar requests, but not identical.  I think this is worthy of being tracked as a separate enhancement request in the product backlog.

    Currently we only support sending Email Notifications to form author. I'm not sure which specific email address you are talking about. Is it also a FormsCentral ID? If so, you could share the form to it, and make it as Co-author. Then you (or the owner of the ID) open the shared form and enable the Email Notifications in Options tab.     I accidentally deleted the responses on my form colum D U12 program, I need those response added back to my formcentral form

    Hi;
    You can copy all of the rows of data from the last point in History where they existed in the View Responses table and paste them all into the current point in time at once, you do not have to do that response by response.  You do not have to do this one at a time.
    1) Go to the View Responses tab
    2) Click the History button (clock icon near bottom right)
    3) Click on previous points in history and locate the best source for the responses that were deleted
    4) Select all rows that were deleted and are missing from current time
    Crtl+C to copy (Cmd+C on Mac)
    6) Go to the most recent point in History now
    7a) If you need to simply put the data back into existing rows that were just empty, the data had been deleted but not the rows click into the first cell (time submitted) and click Crtl+V (Cmd+V on Mac)
    If you are not able to do that let me know and I can work futher with you on it.
    7b) If you need these at the bottom of some existing/new responses simply click "Add Row" to add a new row to the bottom, click in the first cell and use Crtl+V to paste (Cmd+V on Mac)
    7c) If you need to insert the rows in between existing rows use the "+" sign in between the rows you need the data inserted - repeat enough times to add the same number of rows you copied and then click in the first cell and use Crtl+V to paste (Cmd+V on Mac)

    I'd like to be able to select a response and print the data in the format of the form (so it looks the way it did when they entered it.)  How can I do that?

    Unfortunately you can't print a selected response and retain the format of the form. You can print out a response in more of a "record view". Try this - go to View menu -> Details View. A panel will open, at the bottom of the panel you can see buttons for save the detail view as PDF or print it.
    This type of functionality is something we plan to provide in the coming months.
