Try this :

     When I run the code below I get the following error:"RUN-TIME ERROR '3078': The Microsoft Access database engine cannot find the input table or query 'False'. Make sure it exists and that its name is spelled correctly. Note that I do not call

    Else: MsgBox "This material lot has already been assigned to this job."

    I think the SQL statement should be
    strSQL = "SELECT * FROM MaterialLotJobJoint WHERE JobID=" & _
    tempvars!JobID & " AND MatLotID=" & tempvars!MatLotID
    This assumes thatJobID and MatLotID are number fields.

  • Error when changing database time zone

    Hi all,
    I have Oracle 9.2.0.1.0 on Windows 2000 Pro. I try to change the time zone of the database using
    ALTER DATABASE SET TIME_ZONE = '+01:00'
    but it fails with error ORA-02231.
    Am I missing something?

    This is an expected behaviour, it's just that the message text was not meaningful.
    Basically if there is a TSLTZ column in the database, user is not allowed to change the database time zone. This is because it will invalid their existing TSLTZ data.
    You should either perform ALTER DATABASE SET TIME ZONE before creating any tables with TSLTZ columns, or drop the TSLTZ columns first before doing the ALTER DB statement.
    According to Bug 2435266, the error message has now been changed to
    ORA-30079: cannot alter database timezone when database has TIMESTAMP WITH LOCAL TIME ZONE columns

    Error 13, 14, 35 and 50 (or -50)
    These errors are typically resolved by performing one or more of the steps listed below:
    Perform USB isolation troubleshooting, including trying a different USB port directly on the computer. See the advanced steps below for USB troubleshooting.
    Put a USB 2.0 hub between the device and the computer.
    Try a different Dock Connector or Lightning Connector to USB cable.
    Eliminate third-party security software conflicts.
    There may be third-party software installed that modifies your default packet size in Windows by inserting one or more TcpWindowSize entries into your registry. An incorrectly set default packet size can cause this error. Contact the software manufacturer that installed the packet-size modification for assistance. Or, follow this article by Microsoft to reset the packet size back to the default for Windows:How to reset Internet Protocol (TCP/IP).
    Connect your computer directly to your Internet source, bypassing any routers, hubs, or switches. You may need to restart your computer and modem to get online.
    Try to restore from another known-good computer and network.
    I hope this information helps ....
    Happy Holidays!

  • Database Manager 7.4 run-time error 308

    It the Db Manager running fine.  Then all of a sudden, something I did I'm sure, I can not get past the initial splash screen prior to the program actually opening I get the following run-time error.
    Run-time Error '308' - Invaled property value.
    I even uninstalled and re-installed the program which didn't change anything.
    Any help or direction would be greatly appreciated.
    Bob

    This issue was resolved by uninstalling 7.4 and then installing DB Manager 7.6.03.
    Works fine now.  Of course the old DB Manager 7.4 work for seveal weeks before breaking.
    Thanks,
    Bob

  • ETL Tasks failing Database driver error...Function Name : Execute Multiple

    HI,
    We have Installed OBI Apps V796. Below are the details.

    We are getting the below error for the task "SDE_ORA_PartyPersonDimension_Customer" when we run the execution plan related to supply chain and order management analytics.

    As a work around we tried by changing the Target load type option to normal(previously it is bulk) and still the task failed. Also tried by enabling the Constraint based loading option and still the tas got failed.
    Any suggestions............

    Venkatesh.

    Exactly same problem I'm also facing. The log is not showing any exact error information for the cause. And the surprise thing is when i'm running the debugger its inserting all the records. But when i run the task it is failing. Here is the log.

    Any idea ?
    Thanks.

    here is one test case, i ran into same issue. and reolved as below.
    When Standby_file_management is set to “MANUAL” , if any data files added on primary database, These changes certainly won’t be altered in standby database.
    After starting MRP process, it dies and terminated with the following errors.

    Check out from SQL, Which files need to be recovered on standby database?
    SQL> select * from v$recover_file where error like '%FILE%';
    FILE# ONLINE  ONLINE_ ERROR                   CHANGE# TIME
    +536 ONLINE ONLINE FILE MISSING 0+
    SQL>
    On Primary check out for actual naming convention:-
    SQL>  select file#,name from v$datafile where file#=536;
    FILE# NAME
    +536 DATA/c/datafile/undotbs9.595.750444337
    SQL>
    On Standby check datafile name:-
    SQL> select file#,name from v$datafile where file#=536;
    FILE# NAME
    +536 /oracle/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/dbs/UNNAMED00536+
    SQL>
    Make sure still standby_file_management is set to “MANUAL”, After performing media recovery again can be enabled to “AUTO”.
    Rename datafile from standby database:-
    SQL> alter database create datafile '/oracle/app/oracle/product/10.2.0/db_1/dbs/UNNAMED00536' as 'DATA3/cc/datafile/undotbs9_595_750444337';+
    Database altered.
    Start the MRP Now:-
    SQL> alter database recover managed standby database disconnect from session;
    Database altered.
    After creating the file, MRP will start applying archives on standby database.

    You are certified but you don't know how to to recover a database with corrupt redo logs? There you have my problem with certificates: they don't tell you jack about the true knowledge of the DBA and his problem solving skills. (or is this exactly what you are saying with "book knowledge"? I am no native English speaker, so I might have misunderstood).
    Just enter your ORA-error in a metalink search and you will find notes that explain exactly what to do (the how-to's you mention ;))

  • How to recovery database

    Please help me in this:
    - database is oracle 9.2, arc log is off;
    - i have full copy of database 7.05.2009;
    - i have full dump of database 10.05.2009;
    - database is crash 10.05.2009;
    - i recovery database from full copy 7.05.2009;
    - What parametres of imp I should apply to restore base as of 10.05.2009 from full dump?
    full=y, ignore=y???

    To restore a database with imp/exp, you need first that he database is up and running.
    Try to restart instance with STARTUP command. If this does not work, you need to either restore database
    as described in my previous message or to recreate it (with DBCA or with the scripts that have been used at creation time).
    Then you can restore the database using the export full with imp command and the following options full=Y and ignore=Y (you will likely get some errors for SYSTEM objects that already exist and possibly with already existing tablespaces).
    Please post you Oracle version 4 digits and command used with Oracle output including error messages.

  • Run time error

    Dear All,
    During the transaction /n/sapapo/ccr (Reconsilation of transaction data) in client SCP 950, system displays the run time error which are attached herewith.
    This is the activity a used to execute regularly (Daily) and first time i recieved this message - -
    Runtime Errors         ASSERTION_FAILED
    Date and Time          13.07.2007 10:13:37
    ShrtText
    The ASSERT condition has been violated.
    What happened?
    In the current application program, the system recognized a situation
        involving the ASSERT statement that should not occur. A runtime error
        occurred, either because there was no activation ID entered or because
        the ID of the activation mode used was set to "Cancel.
    What can you do?
    Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
        and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
        error.
    To resolve the problem, contact your SAP system administrator.
        You can use transaction ST22 (ABAP Dump Analysis) to view and administer
         termination messages, especially those beyond their normal deletion
        date.
    is especially useful if you want to keep a particular message.
    Error analysis
    The following activation ID was used: "No checkpoint group specified"
    If the FIELDS addition was used with this ASSERT statement, the content
        of the first 8 fields is as follows:
        " (not used) "
    " (not used) "
    " (not used) "
    " (not used) "
    " (not used) "
    " (not used) "
    " (not used) "
    " (not used) "
    How to correct the error
    Probably the only way to eliminate the error is to correct the program.
    You may able to find an interim solution to the problem
        in the SAP note system. If you have access to the note system yourself,
        use the following search criteria:
    "ASSERTION_FAILED" C
    "/SAPAPO/SAPLTIMESTAMP" or "/SAPAPO/LTIMESTAMPU08"
        "/SAPAPO/TIMESTAMP_DIFFERENCE"
        If you cannot solve the problem yourself and you wish to send
        an error message to SAP, include the following documents:
    1. A printout of the problem description (short dump)
           To obtain this, select in the current display "System->List->
           Save->Local File (unconverted)".
    2. A suitable printout of the system log
           To obtain this, call the system log through transaction SM21.
           Limit the time interval to 10 minutes before and 5 minutes
           after the short dump. In the display, then select the function
           "System->List->Save->Local File (unconverted)".
    3. If the programs are your own programs or modified SAP programs,
           supply the source code.
           To do this, select the Editor function "Further Utilities->
           Upload/Download->Download".
    4. Details regarding the conditions under which the error occurred
           or which actions and input led to the error.

  • Issues with a recovery database

    Hello everyone,
    I am trying to restore a mailbox from a backed up copy of a db. The backup copy was restored into a recovery db. Everything looks fine, database is mounted, no issues are being reported. When I run the New-MailboxRestoreRequest to restore the mailbox, I
    get the following error message in the Event Viewer and it fails.
    FYI - I am using Exchange 2010.
    The Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service was unable to process jobs in a mailbox database.

    Can someone help me fix this issue? At first I thought it might have been the backup copy that was bad so I used a previous one but got the same result.
    Thanks

    Hi Francois,
    From the error description, I recommend you check the following things for troubleshooting:
    1. Please make sure that the Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service is started. If no, please start it.
    2. Microsoft Exchange Mailbox Replication service is dependent upon the Microsoft Exchange Active Directory Topology and Net.Tcp Port Sharing service. Ensure that these two services are started.
    Hope my clarification is helpful.
    Best regards,
    Amy

  • Database Connection Error Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory

    Hello everyone,
    Background:
    I have a newly installed and configured Ubuntu server running Tomcat5.5 and Mysql 5.0. This server was created in an attempt to migrate from a Red Hat server in a similar configuration, running the exact same webapp. Most of the configuration/classpath differences between the two platforms have been ironed out.
    The Problem:
    When our webapp trys to connect to the database on localhost, an exception 'java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.net.SocketPermission localhost resolve)' is generated.
    The server.xml configuration is below:
    <Resource name="jdbc/EconDollarsDB"
    auth="Container"
    type="javax.sql.DataSource"
    username="user"
    password="pass"
    driverClassName="com.mysql.jdbc.Driver"
    url="jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/DBName?autoReconnect=true"
    maxActive="20" maxIdle="5"
    />I can connect to the database just fine using the command line client and the same username/password combo. This configuration has been working fine for at least a year on the older server. The only similar problems I have found on the net (meaning the same exception is generated) involve applets and attempts to connect to different hosts. This case involves a webapp, connecting to localhost, using a configuration that is known to work! I am simply baffled.
    The following stacktrace is generated:
    javax.servlet.ServletException: Database Connection Error
    Cannot create PoolableConnectionFactory (Server connection failure during transaction. Due to underlying exception: 'java.security.AccessControlException: access denied (java.net.SocketPermission localhost resolve)'.

    Hi,
    Its clearly saying the connect permission is missing with the current available policy.
    you add the following permisson entry to the <installed JRE>\lib\security\java.policy file.
    (e.g) C:\Program Files\Java\j2re1.4.2_08\lib\security\java.policy
    permission java.security.AllPermission;
    grant{
    permission java.security.AllPermission;
    If the application is running standalone then the code is allowed uncontrolled access but for webapplicatons running through browser, the security check is performed for the configured JRE.
    Regards

    Could anybody advice me on this
    Regards,
    Zul

    Hi,
    I hope 440000 will not the cause,
    this might occur due to many reasons,
    1. make sure you have all the components(Applications,OSlevel,DBlevel) are at same level in entire the landscape.
    2. you can observe the evenlogs at OSlevel to get the error information pointing to. Also check for the dumps/logs(work direcotry).
    3. if not, can open SAP message.
    regards
    Nagaraju
