Recurring Activities and Tasks Error - Dates Error
Dear Experts,
For recurring activites or tasks, we utilize the Dates Assignment block in an Activity or Task to set the next occurrence. As standard, we have made the neccessary customizing settings to the transaction types by utilizing the standard Date Profile and Action Profile for Recurring tasks and activities.
The functionality works!, however when maintain the next occurrence information, when we enter the duration time for the recurrent activity or task, lets say for 30 minutes, and activity start time of 1pm, the END TIME of the new occurrence of the activity or task that is created does not reflect the duration - meaning the new activity or task says Start time: 1pm, End Time: 1pm.
Please help us with this query, Upon investigation of the date rules and profiles, we found these to be hard coded. Are there easy configuration steps, if so, please provide detailed and configuration steps and dependencies.
Thanks! your assistance is greatly appreciated!
Hi,
Really **bleep** off with this issue in synchronizing , I move back to my old PC suite that worked fine .
I expect our NOKIA provider to be back on their code and solve this issue.
At least, one mail to me warning me of corrections with this issue and improved performances would not be considered by me as spam but as consideration to users .
Sorry dear developpers but either your specs were uncomplete, at least performance criterias were undefined and you businees acceptance test were unproperly managed. I would not like to be the project manager in charge of ! Just before Christmas, providing such a release will make Santa Klaus quite unhappy top him .

Hi,
Using a nokia 5800xm, running firmware v51.0.006, ovi suite 2.2.1.23, outlook 2007 on xp sp3
When I try to sync the calendar and task it always fails with
"Calendar and tasks not synced
Selected folder could not be found. Create or select another Personal Folders file in Microsoft Outlook. Then sync again. Error code 80043bec.". Please see attahce fiel ovi sync error
I only have one email profile in outlook the sync options only show one folder to sync with.
I have uninstalled and re-installed ovi suite. The sync previously worked with pc-suite.

Ovi Sync Error.jpg 17 KBEmail response from Nokia Support! Are they saying Outlook is not supported?
In response to your inquiry, please be advised that we are currently working on the compatibility of Microsoft Outlook with Nokia Ovi Suite application regarding synchronization of calendar tasks. We suggest that you use Ovi Calendar as an alternative for your calendar activities. Please see the link provided below:
http://calendar.ovi.com
Sync with Ovi is an online service that gives you the option of storing your calendar items online, so you can access them wherever you have internet access. You can sync your calendar items online using Sync with Ovi. Online sync for calendar items using Nokia Ovi Suite is currently being updated. You need a Nokia account to synchronise to Ovi.com.
To set up your phone to synchronise to Ovi.com:
*Open the Sync application on your Nokia phone. For details, see your phone’s user guide or on-screen help.
*Select Ovi.com as the synchronisation profile and then select Options > Synchronise. You must connect to the internet when prompted for the sync to succeed.
*The next time you sign in to Ovi after syncing your phone, the Ovi home page displays your upcoming calendar events.
Furthermore, we will forward this issue to the relevant department for further notice regarding synchronization of calendar activities between Microsoft Outlook and Nokia Ovi Suite. -
Tasks - Organizational data profile
Hi all,
I face the following problem: I use the same Organizational data profile for Activities and Tasks (both for scenario Sales). For activities, the profile works alright but for tasks, the profile does not return any results. Also the rule that is used in the profile works alright - I tested it both in customizing and in the transaction with activities. Only problem are the tasks...
Any ideas?
Thanks,
SebastianHi,
If its an IDES and its asking for requests, there should be a basis setting change.
Goto SCC4 and check for you logical system teh radio button:
'Automatic Recording of Changes' is selected.
If this is the case, ask you BASIS person to set it back to 'Changes Without Automatic recording'. This should be the IDES settings,
Kindly reward with points in case helpful

I have created a execut sql task -
In that, i have a created a 'empidvar' variable of string type and put sqlstatement = 'select distinct empid from emp'
Resultset=resultname=0 and variablename=empidvar
I have added data flow task of ole db type and I put this sql statement under sql command - exec emp_sp @empidvar=?
I am getting an error.
[OLE DB Source [1]] Error: A rowset based on the SQL command was not returned by the OLE DB provider.
[SSIS.Pipeline] Error: component "OLE DB Source" (1) failed the pre-execute phase and returned error code 0xC02092B4.shouldnt setting be Result
Set=Full Resultset as your query returns a resultset? also i think variable to be mapped should be of object type.
Then for data flow task also you need to put it inside a ForEachLoop based on ADO.NET recordset and map your earlier variable inside it so as to iterate for every value the sql task returns.
Also if using SP in oledb source make sure you read this

Data flow task error failed validation and return validation status "VS_NEEDSNEWMETADATA"
I have ETL with ~800 tables that I moving from Oracle to SQL Server (Prod Oracle -> Prod SQL)
Now the Oracle/SQL new version was came from vendor that I need to test, and for that I created new DEV environments for Oracle and SQL , the update includes updated new columns in exists tables and new tables . (DEV Oracle -> DEV SQL)
So what I tried to do is to take the old ETL(PROD) to change the connection to DEV servers.
Then I executing the packages from local laptop it's working, and if I trying to execute the packages from job schedule it's giving me errors : "Data flow task error failed validation and return validation status "VS_NEEDSNEWMETADATA"
I went to each table to check the columns if something different, and I was dropping some of the tables and recreated them in the destination but the error still shows. I also tried to change the package to "DelayValidation" to True but without
success.I do not understand the difference between "... if I going to change the Connection Manager to new connection" and "didn't change the Connection Manager, only changed inside the Server name / user/ pass" 800 tables.
What I see is some tables your packages sees in Dev (laptop) is not of the same schema once the package is deployed hence the metadata error.

Supporting projcet level Activities and Errors
Hi Pals,
Can you tell me What are the supporting project Activities.. and maximum what type of Errors(or) problems we are getting in the supporting level projects...
thnaks & regards
AjayWe've been using SSDT for 11 months and for 8 months we've used a custom preSsdt framework for many of the reasons Brett described.
The main issue is predictability. Can you predict what will happen if I split a table into two (parent/child relationship)? I can predict it if I write the preSsdt code to create the extra table and migrate the data. I don't have to get
the tables perfect, just close enough for SSDT to then apply every last constraint.
So I'd argue that a tool that does everything magically is bad. A flexible and predictable tool is good.
Classic scenarios in preSsdt scripts:
IF NOT EXISTS(SELECT * FROM sys.columns c WHERE c.object_id = OBJECT_ID('dbo.Table') AND c.name = 'Column')
BEGIN;
EXEC sp_executesql N'ALTER TABLE dbo.TableADD [Column] INT NULL';
END;
GO
IF EXISTS(SELECT * FROM dbo.Table WHERE Column IS NULL) -- SSDT will make Column NOT NULL
BEGIN;
EXEC sp_executesql N'
UPDATE
dbo.Table ....
END;
GO
IF EXISTS(SELECT * FROM sys.columns WHERE OBJECT_ID = OBJECT_ID('dbo.Table') AND name = 'Column2')
BEGIN;
EXEC sp_executesql N'ALTER TABLE dbo.Table DROP COLUMN Column2;';
END; -

4 EPU202XEND OF SECTION BEING ANALYZED1. Call transaction SMQ1 and check whether all queues in all clients (client = '', queue name 'MCEX') have been processed. To process the queues, start the collective run report for each application in the displayed clients. If you no longer need the data in the BW system, deactivate the relevant extraction queues and DataSource in the LO cockpit (transaction LBWE) and delete the queue entries in transaction SMQ1.
2. If you use the V3 update that is not serialized (usually only for application 03): Start collective run report RMBWV303. Then check the update orders in transaction SM13. If there are incorrect update orders in transaction SM13, correct the orders and then start the collective run report again. If you no longer require the update orders, you can delete them. There may be inconsistencies between tables VBMOD and VBHDR. For further information about this, see Notes 652310 and 67014.
3. Before the upgrade, delete the contents of the setup tables. Execute report RMCEX_SETUP_ENTRIES to find out which setup tables still contain entries. You can use transaction LBWG to delete the contents of the setup tables for all clients.
Unfortunately the check that the system carries out during the upgrade or when you import a Support Package does not display all affected applications. Therefore, Note 1083709 provides a check report that you can use to determine all affected applications and tables or queues. -
FDMEE - Write back - No Data and No Errors
I am trying to Write Back from Planning 11.1.2.3.500 to EBS R12 using FDMEE 11.1.2.3.530. There is data in Planning, and when I execute an Import it processes successfully, but the Transform Data Process step has a warning symbol and there is no data in the grid in the Write Back Workbnch.

I have created the following write-back mappings:
UD1,*,*,Z_Catch All Entity
UD1,CO_*,*,"Remove prefix ""Co_"""
UD2,*,*,Z_Catch All Account
UD2,ACC_*,*,Remove ACC_
UD3,*,*,Local Account Pass Through
UD4,*,*,Z_Catch All MC
UD4,CC_*,*,"Remove prefix ""CC_"""
UD5,*,*,Z_Catch All Event Edition

UD6,*,*,Activity pass through
UD7,*,*,Z_Catch All Product
UD7,PRD_*_I,*,Remove prefix PRD
UD8,*,*,ICP pass through
UD9,*,*,Spare pass through
Which is basically to strip off some prefixes, or just pass through the values.
In the Import Format I have the following Write Back Mapping:
Source Dimension Source Segment
Account Account
Activity Activity
Entity Entity
SessionYear Event Edition
Intercompany
Local Account
ManagementCentre Management Centre
Product Product
Spare
For my Write Back Rule I select the Location: RXFin_EBS_PL, the Primary Ledger in EBS
Period: Dec-14
Category: Budget - The name of the scenario in Planning.
Source: RX_EBS
Target: RXFIN
Plan Type: Finance
I have Source Filters to limit the amount of data it tries to pull in.
Account: @Relative("Profit & Loss",0)
Entity: "CO_0052"
Activit:y @Relative("AllActivities",0)
Period: @Relative("YearTotalPlan",0)
Version: "FinalVersion"
Year: "FY14"
And for Budget: RX RF1 2014
Budget Organization: RX Budget Org - Though I am not sure what this does.
I execute Import from Source, and it process for several minutes, and then nothing is in the Workbench.
There is data in Planning as far as I can see, and with no errors I am at a loss on what to investigate.
Can anyone assist?
Thanks,Do you have any luck if you simplify the source filter to try and be as specific as possible and only bring in as few rows as possible from a known good intersection as a sanity check?

Unable to enable option “Mail, Contacts, Calendars, and Tasks with Outlook” under iCloud 3.0 Control Panel.
Get following error when clicking checkbox to enable it under iCloud 3.0 Control Panel.
"Setup can't continue because Outlook isn't configured to have a default profile. Check your Outlook settings and try again."
Have tried the following:
Uninstalled / reinstalled iCloud 3.0 control panel
Removed all mail accounts from Outlook 2013 except MS account
Confirmed Outlook was chosen for “Always uses this profile” under Control Panel – Mail (MicroSoft Outlook 2013) – show profiles
Still get the same error when trying to enable the option under iCloud 3.0 Control Panel
PC is running Windows 8.1 (64 bit)
Outlook 2013 was just installed on the PC as part of new Office 2013 installationTwo more things:
First, sorry for the bad spelling, grammar, and all of that. English isn't my first language and I'm so frustrated at this point I'm not paying any attention to it. Sorry!
Second, after trying to repair again the icloud 3.0 through the Control Panel of Windows, guess what? It made Offce to crash again! Now I will have to install it again.

my iphone 4 would not back-up to to pc "because an error occurred" anyone offer any solutions to this, I want to restore my phone to factory settings and reinstall my data but cannot back up first. Original problem is that I cannot connect to any wifi system anymore - have tried resetting network settings but did not work.
Try 1 step at a time and do a backup, if no joy then do the next step:
1. Switching off your anti-virus and firewall.
2. Computer iTunes menu > Edit > Preferences... > Devices > delete your backup -
Transfer(IDocs and TRFC) error when use infopackage to load data from R/3
I create an infopackage to load data from R/3, when start immediately ,there is no data transfered. The return error is :
transfer(IDocs and TRFC): Errors occurred
request IDoc: Application document not posted
Does anybody know how can correct this error?
Thanks great.Hi Yimeng,
Check in SM58 transaction code in R/3 and see if any LUWs are stuck there. If so you can execute them manually and complete the data load.

Using FF4.0 b10 with MS XP sp3well, for starters, is there a URL (link) in the text? if so, you will have to take it out, and include it in the little link area under the comments box.
If not, check to see if you have 'Http://' or '.com' or something similar in the text. -

The recent software update on my HTC One has caused errors with Exchange ActiveSync issues. Calendar, mail and tasks sync fine but contacts won't sync. How do you correct this?
I had the same problem. Here is what worked for me. Open the mail app and delete your exchange account (Settings > Delete Account). Then re-add your Exchange account. After this my Exchange contacts showed up again.
