Redirect to my own search page

Within are site, we allow users to search for people, site, etc. When People is selected I want them to go to a custom page that I created. Where can I redirect them to my custom result page and then have that page populate with the results for the person
they search for?

If you are using SharePoing Enterprise search site, you can go to search settings page->Configure Search Navigation, and add your custom result page, then you can see the custom result page link in the Search Navigation web part, or you go to search
settings page through Search Navigation web part propery window.

Software? See if you can get it removed with some anti-malware tools. Spybot, AVG, Kapersky, et cetera...
If you know the name of the program, you could search the registry for any instance of that name and --be CAREFUL--delete them.
And I have to ask: Did you go back to Firefox after uninstalling this program and reset the "when I open a new tab..." setting? What about your home page?

SAP CRM Navigate from custom search page to email component

Hello Experts,
I implemented my own search page and added a link on every row of the returned query that should direct me to the email component eg. CRMCMP_CCS_EMLV.
I did something similar with Business partners and Task and it works. For BPs and tasks I managed to identify the object type and name associated to each of them and then I dynamically navigate to the components required.
The way I did it for tasks for instance is:

I guess that there should be a root object associate with emails like there is BTOrder for tasks.
Once the correct root object is identified I will need the object type (like BT126_CALL for tasks) to create the ui_object_based

Hi mimimaker,
According to your description, I think the function that you want to achieve is navigation rather then Seach in SharePoint 2010.
For achieving navigation in the current site, you can do as the followings:
Activate SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure feature at site collection level (Site settigs->Site collection features).
Go to a subsite, activate SharePoint Server Publishing feature at site level(Site settings->Manage site features).
Then go to Site setttings->Navigation under Look and Feel.
On the Global Navigation section, select “Display the navigation items below the current site”, and un-select “Show pages”.
On Navigation Editing and Sorting section, click Global Navigation
Then click “Add link…”
Type a title, and browse and select the page that you want to use in the navigation
Click Ok
Then the title will display on current site global navigation, you click it, it will automatically go to the page.
Repeat the step 2-9 for each subsite.

Custom refiners not translated on Search Page

Hi,
I have created a product catalog site.
On the category page i have added some custom refiners, all using the excelent tutorial:

All of this works fine... the refiners are translated in the category page of the product catalog.
I have created my own search page and i have added the same refiners to it. The refiners themselves work fine but they are not translated.
I'm wondering why they are translated on the category page, but not on the search page?

Ok... i figured it out.
Turns out, you need to use the "Display Name" for each refiner defined on the refiners web part.
Still is bizarre that the translation doesn't work in this case.

In 3.0.9 it is now possible to customize search page, this was not possible in previous versions.
- Just go to the administrative page in portal (portal30).
- And select the Search Result Page from the page portlet (click on edit).
Note:
- Do not delete this page at all, because in some cases you still get rerouted to this page (although you have set the search settings).

Portal Logoff and redirect to my own (created) logon page

Hi experts,
one Question about "Portal logoff and redirect to another URL", and I know there already are solutions how to fix that, but I was not successfull with my doings.
I have a customized logon page. When I call "http://myportal:50000/irj/portal/anonymous", I can see my own logon page. That works fine.
Now to my problem:
1) I'm using SAP NetWeaver Portal v7.01 (VMWare) with Windows 7 (x64 Bit)
2) In Config Tool "ume.logoff.redirect.silent" is setted at true and "ume.logoff.redirect.url" (both under "Global settings") at "http://myportal:50000/irj/portal/anonymous". Than WebAS has been restarted.
3) In source code of the Portal page (Masthead), I could see that the setted values can be readed from config tool
4) So far I could understand, when the parameters are setted and "silent" is true, than a new iframe will be created which is append to the document (JavaScript: logoffThirdParty())
5) After this, the logoff form will submitted, that means xxxx.LogOutComponent is running. Think this components reads some hidden attributes as "logon_submit", and one of this should be the (new created) externalIFrame
Instead of my anonymous page, I see the default SAP logon page. I don't have made any changes on com.sap.portal.navigation.masthead iView (should be the right name I think).

Try to set the value ume.logoff.redirect.silent to FALSE and then restart and test. In my situation it worked.

When I do a search (for anything), the browser redirects me to a new page, usually an advertisement. How do I keep this from happening?

My home page opens just fine. When I type a search topic in the search box, it goes to the list of possible websites. But when I click on any of those choices, the browser is automatically redirecting my to a different page (usually an advertisement). How do I keep this from happening any more? I am extremely frustrated...

Do a malware check with some malware scan programs. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. 
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

Safari is constantly redirecting me to either a **** page or the App store. Please help!

I am having problems with Safari redirecting me to either a **** page or to the App store (when I go back to the browser the following url is in the address bar: c.mobpartner.mobi./?s=511297. The **** pages change every couple of days)
This only happens from www.guardian.co.uk (so far). It started a week ago. It happens automatically – I don’t touch the screen or click on adverts. It happens every time I go the site, and at any time of day. I am running IoS 6.1.3. JavaScript is on. The pop-up blocker is on. I have cleared the cookies and the history. I have been to Settings>Safari>Advanced>Website Data and cleared that. I still get the redirects. What can I do now?

1) it sounds like the exact same problem. the hijack is specific by browser type, and some people have reported that it seems to be random, although what i experienced with my iphone was that i was hijacked each time, but the destination page seemed randomized (but always adult content, and probably related companies).
2) "it can't be the site"? why not? it absolutely was on the hosted site that first hijacked my iphone. (owner of the site contacted the hosting provider and they took down the problem within the hour.) the interesting aspect of this hack is that they're only hijacking some clients, based on type - by NOT hijacking desktops, for instance, they're staying "under the radar" of most web spiders and security programmes. most support people will pull up the site on their desktop and convince themselves that there's no problem.
3) why is changing dns not an option? it's quick and easy, and affects pretty much nothing on your ipad, except filtering out the offensive adult content. it's not a fix, but it makes the effects of the hijack less graphic.
and by the way, it's not coming from ads. the hijack is happening on the mobile server, which many sites use to convert their content for mobile devices. the adult content site would be stupid to run ads (and establish a business connection) with a site they were going to hijack - that would be like writing a ransom note on the back of your own business card!
and it's NOT the app store!!! it's a web page that only looks like the app store, to fool people. if you read the address in the toolbar, you'll see that it's not related to apple at all.

When right click on link in search page it takes me to where it wants not page

If I search from au.yahoo.com or google (search pages I always use), it brings up a list of suggested sites. If I right click on one of the suggested links and choose to open in new tab or just click on the link, it won't take me to the page listed. It seems to take me to what other site it suddenly feels like taking me to. There is no set site it takes me to, just a huge variety of them. I have done a registry clean, I have uninstalled and reinstalled firefox, I have done a pc clean and have run malaware program.

If you right-click the link and use Copy Link Location, then paste into the address bar, and press Alt+Enter, does Firefox load the correct site in the new tab? If so, it does unfortunately sound like the nasty malware sometimes called the Google Redirect Virus. When i try to open a tab a Yahoo search page comes-up, i just want a blank page.

Edit User Profile How do I enalble user lo loggin to their own profile page and edit it?

I am using DWCS3 and ADDT toolbox extension wamp and phpmyadmin
I am trying to create a site for people to be able to post a profile with a picture and info and display it in a dynamic table.
I can create the form, a database and display the data on another page in a dynamic table all ok..... kind of.
I can create a user registration system with ADDT.
I can redirect them after registration to a post profile page, which has a form to upload details. I can then display those details on a user info page.
I would like to allow logged in users to be able to click on a link to their own profile page , which would show the same form that was filled out in the post profile page, but would be already populated with their previously entered information. I would like users to be able to edit the content of the form and update the information in the database and automatically delete delete any previously entered information ( only in the fields that have been edited)
How do I go about doing this?.... step by step?
I want to allow logged in user to view their own profile not every bodies.... how do I do that?
I have read on another post that to do something similar to this I should filter my database information using a session varialble MM_username that I think is created automatically after user logs in .... but I don;t know how to do this.... I really don;t understand is this the way I link my user to a page that only displays their info ? or is there another way?
I would also like to allow only people who have posted a profile to be able to edit profile ...... do I do that by
1. new user registers and is redirected to login page
2. user logs in and is redirected to an index page that has a post profile button and a edit profile button but only the POST button is active ( and links to a form to post info ) and the edit profile button is linked to a " You must post a profile first" page ( with a link back)
3 so user posts profile and is directed to an index page which has an edit profile button which is now linked to an edit profile page
Does that sound correct?

I have created the users page which submits to a members page and tell the user to edit biodata, profession, and hobbies. but on clicking I am really confused on how the id will be transfered from the members page to update biodata and the user updates the form which will show past records. this should also apply to the profession and hobbies
If I understand this right, you might want to consider providing a complete "userdata" section which comes with a Dynamic List and a Dynamic Form to have users add & update their data plus (via the Dynamic List) track all past records
Lastly is it possible I create recordset at will and the id will be passed thru since kt-login-id behaves sololy
I really can´t recommend this "pass user_id as URL variable" approach in this case, as URL variables are displayed in the browser´s address bar -- and this is absolutely insecure, because anyone could simply change the displayed "user_id" value, reload the form and hence edit data which belongs to a different user.
The only secure method is indeed to use ADDT´s session variable kt_login_id

Navigation in Google search page is not working, this does not happen with other browsers or other search engines.

When using Google search I cannot navigate to pages other than the first page of search results. It does not seem to matter whether I use the page number or the next hyperlink, I cannot navigate away from search page 1. This does not happen when I use other search engines nor does it happen if I conduct the same search using a different browser. This ha only recently started occurring.

JDeveloper 11g: Problem with search page sample

Hello all!
I realized the detailed search page in Oracle JDeveloper 11g Handbook ".
Before, it runned without problem. But for a while, I have the following exception when I run a search:
*Unexpected exception: java.lang.ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException, e = 0.*
I searched the forums, the answers that I had alluded to the types of data in the entity, and in the view. But I checked and the different types of entities are those views.
The error always returns.
I also increased by Size Range in the definition of the page.
But there is nothing. Can anyone help me?

Opening edit mode page from Search page

I am developing one simple system for Expense Reports in ADF. The proposed system will have Expense Report entry, Search, copy, print and edit functionalities. I am able to Enter, Search and copy the expense reports but from the search page I am not able to redirect the page in edit mode. I have created one method in Application Module and dragged it as an edit button passing one parameter for the expenses id on Search form. My method looks like below :

When I press the Edit button, it should open it in edit mode and user should be able to change the existing data or add to the detail part. But it opens in Entry mode with a fresh record where I can enter new records only. This is my show stopper issue. Any clue will be a great help.
Apart from this issue, I need to print the Expense Report once entered. I haven't started working on it. But I just wanted to know what all approaches we can follow for the same. Appreciate if anyone can share it.

Creating a simple search page

Hi all,
I am trying to create a simple search page using Jdeveloper 9.03 OA Framework that will allow the user to search for records in a view based on a few key columns.
Are there any resources available which show a step by step process for doing a simple search? I followed the User Guide as far as being able to create the EOs, VOs and the query page region but I dont know how to get the results of the VO in the query page.
There has got to be an easy way of getting such a apparently simple task done. I get the impression J Developer is unnecessarily complicated... Why couldnt there have been Wizards for common development tasks? It just seems unnecessarily confusing.
I'd appreciate any help on this, no matter how insignificant. Im at an impasse here.

Thanks for the reply! That is precisely what I need to do.
I did that, and it worked, but with one major problem... For some reason, it only works on the seeded tables in the AK schema. Those work without any problem. I tried making my own test tables also in the AK schema but when I try to search non AK seeded tables. it errors out. Funny thing is it errors out only when there are records found. If there are no records found the page displays correctly.
Ive tried everything I can think of.
I made a two column table with primary keys, unique indexes, not null conditions, everyting that seemed special about the seeded AK tables to see if I could prevent the error from coming... no luck.
I suspect it is a bug... Has any one ever got this error before?
