Redrawing a Scrollpane Due an actionPerformed from a JButton

Hi everyone,
I recently ran into an issue which I seem to be having problems with. Right now, I have a JFrame running which contains several JButtons. Embedded in this JFrame (through the add(Component) API) are a scrollpane (which embeds a JTable), as well as a JPanel. On the JPanel, I have several buttons which are linked to actions via the actionPerformed method. One of the actions that I wish to perform goes as follows:

Hi, €100 charged to my account due to withdrawing from contract within 30 day period specified in email regarding change of contract due to pricing change. I was advised by eircom on 12th Feb that no notice was needed as I had 30 days to withdraw from contract from the 11th Feb email received date. Notice was given via the phone number provided in the email that I would be moving providers thus withdrawing from contract. Final bill has a €100 ECC charged. Called eircom on Fri 6th March was advised €100 would be deducted from bill as should not have been charged. Was also promised a call back from agent for Mon 9th March to advise this credit had been applied. No callback received. Called again to dispute this cancellation charge on 10th March was advised this would be escalated to team leader. Asked to speak to higher level persons advised non available. Also advised by agent that to withdraw from contract we should have ceased our line and broadband. Nowhere within the email we received are we requested to cease our products totally to withdraw from contract and then ask new provider to reactivate all our products again. This would seem a ridiculous thing to require to be done. This is typical Eircom tactics when any normal person can see that according to Eircom email we were entitled to withdraw from contract by switching providers. Exact same happened to me however, Eircom have since cut me off. Nobody will phone me back and I have a credit block on my visa card which has never before happened to me. To say that Eircom's service is poor is an understatement. I have all of the emails that I sent to them but not one person will take responsibility and telephone me to resolve this issue. Printing Access report from Java JButton

hi would anyone be able to help me i need to print a MS access report from a JButton on a Java interface i have connected to the database using JDBC-ODBC and can retrieve data from the table and store it in text fields on java GUI however i have problems when it comes to printing the reports.

Not possible using Java.
I would guess that it is possible to do this using C/C++ and windows API calls. And once you figured that out then you could use JNI to call that code and that would allow you to use java.
I can think of one other odd solution....
1. Acquite 'AutoIt' - search for it on google
2. Create an AutoIt script that runs Access, opens the database and runs the report.
3. Use Runtime.exec() in Java to run AutoIt passing in the script from 2.

Information on impact on interfaces due to upgrade from 4.7 to ECC 6.0

there are several oss-notes available which explain how to transfer your text customizing to the new procedure. This happens if you are uppgrading from a release 4.6c or lower. If you are already in 4.7, there should be no problem with text determination.

Problems with corba initialisation due to migration from plug in 1.3 to 1.4

We're attempting to debug an internet banking applet used by our company. This applet was written to run under JRE 1.3, however due to business requirements our company has upgraded to JRE 1.4. Under the 1.4 JRE, the applet no longer starts up cleanly, due to an exception that is thrown during CORBA initialisation :

However, even with the signed jarfile, the above exception remains. I have tried moving the provider jarfile into /lib/ext, but I still get the same exception. Also, the development division of the bank that wrote the applet currently has no plans to port it to java 1.4
If anyone could suggest a reason for the above exception, or other avenues I could pursue, I would be grateful.

U need to add this provider statically in <java_applet_home>/jre/lib/security/java.security file the following property
security.provider.n=cryptix.provider.Cryptix (n can be any number from 1 and in jdk1.4 there are already 5 providers, so n might be 6 unless u have add/deleted some providers.
To add a provider dynamically instead of static,
java.security.Security.addProvider(new cryptix.provider.Cryptix());
this piece of java code will help.
One more tip might help.which lib/ext directory did u put the jar file? if you are on windows, there is a possibilty of more than one jvms in ur system.
let me know if this works out r u need further help.

"Invalid Binary" error on app. Apple's reason is "Missing 64-bit support" due to changes from Feb 1st 2015

Apple's response is:

We have discovered one or more issues with your recent submission for "DPS Notes". To process your submission, the following issues must be corrected:
Missing 64-bit support - Beginning on February 1, 2015 new iOS apps submitted to the App Store must include 64-bit support and be built with the iOS 8 SDK. Beginning June 1, 2015 app updates will also need to follow the same requirements. To enable 64-bit in your project, we recommend using the default Xcode build setting of “Standard architectures” to build a single binary with both 32-bit and 64-bit code.
Once these issues have been corrected, use Xcode or Application Loader to upload a new binary to iTunes Connect. Choose the new binary on the app’s Details page in My Apps on iTunes Connect, and click Submit for Review.

Can someone from the Adobe DPS team let me know how I can recreate the .ipa file so that it will meet Apple's requirements.
They seem to have moved the goalposts since I created the original .ipa file in December. I thought I'd submitted it, just went back through iTunes Connect to check info as I hadn't heard anything from them, then hit this brick wall. Any help offered would be much appreciated.

I've Updated App Builder, gone back to the DPS App Builder portal, regenerated new zip and ipa files and downloaded them.
I clicked the Application Loader 3.0 link, downloaded the latest Appication Version, clicked on the "Deliver your App" button, and submitted the newly built App that was built using 32.4.2 version. (All the app icons were listed as "stored on server" so I presume they are all ok). The .zip file appeared to 'deliver' to Apple successfully. I've tried to resubmit it but get ta "Redundant Binary Upload. There already exists a binary upload with build version..." error message, so presume the orginal binary upload was successful. I have no idea how I can get this app from the "prepare for submission", to "in review". The last time I thought I'd submitted this app I got as far as the "waiting for review" status, and no further.
At the moment I don't have a"+" button in the Build section - as mentioned on page 66 of Adobe's Step_by_step_guide_to_dps_se.pdf.
So I can't add the new .zip file to the iTunes Connect > My Apps portal in the Build section of the Versions tab.
I have put a support email into Apple, but don't expect a reply any day soon.
The problem with starting all the way back through the App wizard is that I really want to use all the same App Name, Bundle ID, and details etc.
Do you mean, going back to the Folio Producer Panel, and building a whole new App?
This process certainly isn't for the faint-hearted!

Warranty void due to upgrade from WIndow 7 Home Prem to Window 7 Pro

Did somebody every heard of such a thing??? or had it been done to them?
I just called about a Hard Drive going out and the tech state that i voided my warranty by ugrading to Windows 7

Well i would recommend to use lates BP cause lot has changed from ECC 500 to ECC 600
and they wont be supported and you ll definately get support mismatch here

Some Objects owned by SYS became invalid due wrong deletion from OBJ$ table

While cleaning up streams from source database,we have found some rules and stream queue name was still present, so we tried to delete those records from obj$ table, but by mistake we have deleted all records from obj$ table related to streams.Actually we executed the following sql statement:
DELETE FROM OBJ$ WHERE NAME LIKE '%STREAM%';COMMIT;
For this fault some problem arrise.After this we have found lots of SYS owner objects (VIEW,PACKAGE,TYPE) are become invalid.This situation happened in a remote database.For this remote database there is missing a TYPE "AQ$_JMS_STREAM_MESSAGE".
We have created a dummy database in local and executed the same delete statement, and after this We have executed (after shutdown immediate & startup migrate)catpatch.sql & (after shutdown immediate & startup) utlrp.sql but still there are some objects exists invalid.
e.g. one object is "_DBA_APPLY_ERROR" which is invalid.While I have tried to open the table "APPLY$_ERROR" for this view it showing an error message "ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kkdlusr1], [30813], [], [], [], [], [], []"
We are using ORACLE 9.2.0.5 and Windows XP for our work.
Now please tell me what is it`s remedy.

Well you were asked to run utlrp.sql. I can't speak about the time that it will take to get complete. For the invalid objects, there are two ways to make them valid,one run utlrp.sql and see how many become valid and the other ( painful one) is to manually look for the errors in their compilation and sort it out.

Distinguish IOException due to client from general IOException

When client abort the connection while downloading a ressource via a servlet, the servlet throws an IOException. How can we, in a standard/portable manner, distinguish this exception from other general IOExceptions occur locally on server? In fact, TomCat will throw a ClientAbortConnection in this case, so we can catch (ClientAbortException cae) and treat it differently, but the servlet becomes un-portable as ClientAbortConnection is specific to TomCat. Any ideas? Thanks

Wrap those exception in custome exceptions. Make different exception classes for different situations. That should solve your problems.

IOS 8.0.2 on iPhone 6 - Stalled due to Restoring from iCloud

My iPhone 6 has been restoring backup from iCloud for 3 days... and won't let me Install iOS 8.0.2 until completed. How do I unstall this process?

ICloud a disaster - due to moving from old .mac account?

A long time ago, I had a .mac account and email address. Then I didnt feel like paying for the yearly service, and I dropped it. But my id (which ends in "@mac.com" remained for itunes purchases and the like.
When icloud launched, I used this id to setup, but when I tried to use the same id (the part BEFORE the "@mac.com") I was told it was taken, and chose a new email address (ending in "@me.com"). it appeared to setup properly, then...nothing. checking the box for icloud email in prefs does nothing, trying to web login at icloud.com produces an error when trying to access mail (although other services work), And I can't get icloud mail on my mac nor my iphone. On the mac, it never sets up a mail.app account, and trying to add one manually gives all kinds of errors. On the iphone, the account seems to have been setup automatically, but when I launch mail I get the following error:
"Cannot Get Mail
The user name or password for 'iCloud' is incorrect."
Even though I have checked and rechecked my login and it works in the prefs (with checkmarks and all!)
This is one crappy rollout, nothing works. I don't know if it is related to my previously exisitng .mac account or what, but this should have been tested far better than it was. What a disaster.

After activatin iCloud, my dotMac account wouldn't retrieve mail anymore. It kept saying that my username or password were not good. No matter how many times I tried, I couldn't restore the service.
Here's how I got it working again.
Apparently my 6 letter password is no longer acceptable. You need to update it to an 8 letter password that includes numbers and capital letters.
So I went to https://iforgot.apple.com and asked to reset my password.
Because I could still get my emails logging into iCloud with Safari, I responded to Apple's email, and created a stronger password.
Than I updated the passwords on my computer's Mail program, iPhone, and iPad (and of course everything else, iTunes, etc.).
That was it!
Everything works as normal again, I even was finally able to synchronize calendars over different computers again.
Try it out, it could be your issue as well.

You need to enter the four digit passcode that you enter when turning on your iPhone or when waking it up after an Autolock. If you can't remember that passcode you will have to restore your phone.
