Hi,
I am creating a purchase header and item table(With same fields as in the standard table) in SE11. But when iam creating the Purchase item, it is giving error that
ZPURI-MENGE (specify reference table AND reference field)
ZPURI-NETPR (specify reference table AND reference field)
ZPURI-NETWR (specify reference table AND reference field)
Table ZPURI must be created in the database
Check on table ZPURI resulted in errors.
Why Iam getting the error when iam creating the purchase item table only?

Hi ram,
1. Since menge, netpr , netwr are quantity/currency fields,
 they need the UNIT field also.
2. ie, if u observe, there must be one more field
 MEINS or WAERS
 for which some REFERENCE has to be given
 in se11,
 in the 5th TAB (Currency Quantity Fields)
3. For each such field,
 u will see the table name and field name.
4. Just give that and it will be ok.

Creating Cross-Reference Tables
Complete the following procedure to create cross-reference tables.
To create cross-reference tables
1 Navigate to the following directory:
%SOAHOME%/SiebelODOPPIP/scripts/
2 Open the following file for editing:
xref.sh
3 Set the userid and passwd for logging into BPEL console on the appropriate lines.
4 Set the correct SOA_HOME location on the appropriate line.
5 Save and close the file.
6 Make the file executeable:
chmod +x xref.sh
dos2unix xref.sh
7 Change directory (cd) to integration/esb/bin under %SOAHOME%.
8 Execute ../../../SiebelODOPPIP/scripts/xref.sh.
I am using SOA suite 10.1.3.3 and getting same error

Key Figure Reference table and fields

I am getting the following error:
/BIC/CSSMMIMI1-/BIC/KFMI_LCHF (specify reference table AND reference field)
I am aware that it is asking me to put a reference table and field for the field in the structure.
However, what I am not sure about is should I do this action from SE11 or is there a program or other method which would be more suitable (this is not business content)?

Thanks for that, the currency type and quantity type are hard coded in the key figure for most of the key figures apart from one, i.e for the quanity I hard code PCS
From RSD2 I just check the repair option is that correct

I think for currency the table is TCURC and field is WAERS, does this make sense, not sure for the quantity though

TCURN          (Notations)
TCURS          (Exchange Rate Spreads)
TCURT          (Description of the Currency Code)
TCURV          (Exchange rate types for currency translation)

Hi there,
if you want to find out the reference table and field for the particular currency or date field follow the steps given below.
1. tcode SE11 and give the table name,
2. double click on the dataelement for which you would like to findout the details.
3. Place the cursor on the dataelement name and click on the Whereused button
Utilities --> Where-Used list.
4. Uncheck all the checkboxes and check Table Fields.
5. Hit Enter, that should give you all the tables and fields where this dataelement is being used.
6. You can mention any of the tables as a reference table or fields.

Save your Staff universe, and test the results in Web Intelligence Rich Client as follows:
1. Run a query using Manager and Employee. Add a count on both columns.
2. Add a query with only the Manager object. Add a count. Is this the correct value?
3. Open your Staff universe in Universe Designer and edit the Manager object. To ensure
that the data is restricted to only manager data, use the Tables button. Select the
EMPLOYEE table, to force the object to use the join between the table and restrict the
data.
4. Test the result, creating a new query with only the Manager object. It returns the correct
number of managers.
5. Edit the query and add Employee. Run and display the count. There are 26 rows. Why?
The join restricts the data to look only for employees that have managers. However, there
is a manager that does not have a manager, and is now excluded.
6. Open your Staff universe in Universe Designer and add an outer join on the MANAGER
table side.
7. Save the changes and test the results in Web Intelligence Rich Client.

Reference table and field

Hi Experts,
When I am adding a new field NETWR in the structure to enhance the datasource and checking it, I am getting the following error:
SPECIFY REFERENCE TABLE AND REFERENCE FIELD.
How to over come this error?

Kannan,
there will be reference fields specified in the table for this field - specifically currency / unit fields - you need to have these in your view to be able to activate the datasource.
search the forums on the same also....
Within the view - check the currency / units tab available in SE11.

Cascade Delete thru Cross-Reference Table?

I'm setting up cascade delete rules in my database and I wonder if there's a way to cascade delete through a cross-reference table?
I have a table: "projects" that can have many "tasks" (also a table). A "participation" table is the cross-reference between them and it holds other information about the relationship.
So I know I can do a cascade delete so that the participations will get deleted when either the project or the task get deleted, but can I rig something so that when I delete a project all the participations and tasks get deleted?

You must specify a reference table for fields containing quantities (data type QUAN) or currency amounts (data type CURR).
This reference table must contain a field with the format for the currency key (data type CUKY) or unit of measure (data type UNIT). This field is called the reference field of the output field. The reference field can also reside in the table itself.
A field is only assigned to the reference field at program runtime. For example, if a field is filled with currency amounts, the corresponding currency is determined from the assigned reference field, that is the value entered in this field at the moment defines the currency
example :
table T1
FIELD1 FIELD2(CURR) FIELD3 .
table T2
FEILD4 FIELD5(CUKY) FIELD6 ...
Then
T1-FIELD2 (CURR) -> T2-FIELD5(CUKY)
so .... T2 table is called Refference table and T2-FIELD5 is called Reffernce Field .
T1-FIELD2 = 1,50,0000.
T2-FIELD5 = INR .
the amount is always depend on the some type of Currency ,so that the Amount should always reffernce to an amount type .

Select-option w/out reference table-field

Hi,
I have a select-option in the selection-screen where the values will be stored as fixed values under "Value range" of the domain. My problem here is that the reference table was not given. If i will use the select-option syntax, it will give an error because the reference table is not specified. Do you have any way to solve this? Please help.

"Let's say Z_DOMAIN is your domain which has a number of fixed values...so please create a Data
"Element say Z_DATELEM which has Z_DOMAIN as the domain....
TYPES: ty_mytype TYPE z_datelem.
DATA: gv_mydata TYPE ty_mytype.
SELECT-OPTIONS: so_myso FOR gv_mydata.
And that's it! It should solve your problem now.

I want to create smartform based on standard SAP program.
Printing Program : RLB_INVOICE
Smartforms : SF_LB_INVOICE
I have problem during change smartform. The interface of smartform is IS_BIL_INVOICE TYPE LBBIL_INVOICE. This structure contain of other table type or other structure. I think this structure have complete data. But functional design always create design using database table that I must fetch the data.
Is there any body can tell me what is reference table of each element of structure LBBIL_INVOICE ?

These structures are deep structures and you will have the table entered as a field of this structure .
All the values are populated in these structures . Else copy the standard driver program and the key field is always populated in nast table get the keyfield from nast table ( nast structure gets populated autmatically check in the std driver program )
eg ( move nast-objky(10) to g_ebeln )
based on this key field fetch all the other values you require in the driver program and pass it to your smart form .But i must say this is not a smart thing to do if you already have all the data available in the standard structure .
give your driver program and smartform name in NACE txn. also define the output type. all the other data retrival can also be done in the code editor of smart form in case you need some other values at a later stage.here is the sample code

Need to know the reference table incase of 105 (GR for Blocked STK)

I have created one PO and then I have done two 103(GR into Bolcked STK) then after I have done a 105(GR for Blocked STK) against one of the 103.
My question is how could I identify for which 103 I have done 105. Is there any reference table-field where SAP actually stored the corresponding 103 material document number for that 105 material document. How could I link the 105 with the original 103.
Actually I need to show the original 103 number for 105 in FORM output through MB90.
please help me.

The PO is same but I know for 103 and 105 there will be different material document number(MBLNR). But my question is as I have done a 105 against 103. How sap maintain in its table data that against which 103 it actually done 105. in which table it stores the reference data. There is no details in EKBE. Can you guys please do it in real time and check this and let me know.

Can you elaborate your business requirement of having Check out on reference table?
Checked out option is used for the below scenario in Main Table
Create - If the record is checked out, then it is virtually available in MDM until it is approved as the part of the workflow
Change - The record is kept checked out , so that the user who changes it owns it , and no others has access to change it to achieve the data consitency
But for reference data , the records is already available in the target system and it is fed to MDM

Go to Tcode se11 choose view and enter the name and create a popup opens up choose database view option
enter the description
On the left hand side choose the table name.
Click on view fields tab and choose your table fields.Here you can choose which fields you want in your view.
Save and then activate.
