Referencing Bridge folder from an Illustrator script... How?

I need to access a file in the Bridge directory, from a script in Illustrator. I can do this for PC with a concrete reference like this:
var loc = "C:/Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Bridge CS3/webaccesslib.dll"
How do you construct a string to get at it on a Mac?

Sorry, I misunderstood your question, I didn't realize you were looking for a specific file.
I was going to suggest getting the path to the application and adding '/Contents/MacOS/webaccesslib.bundle/Contents/MacOS/webaccesslib' to get to the file, but I don't see a path property for the application in Bridge. Seems like a ridiculous oversight on Adobe's part, seeing how the other applications can return the path to themselves.

Finder resets itself to default local folder when I delete a folder from a server. How can I stop this?

At work I use a Mac Pro (like this one: http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/mac_pro/specs/mac-pro-quad-core-2.8-2008-s pecs.html)... and I have a very weird problem that is really annoying.
I don't have the information (but I can get it tomorrow) on the operating system or any information of the server I am having the issues with. But I was hoping maybe some one else with the same issue might have the answer without all of that information.
We use the server to access, open, edit, save, delete, move, etc... all of the files we are currently working on. No files are ever transfered to our local computer's hardrive and then copied back to the server (don't ask me why, and don't tell me to do that, this is how it's done in the office, and this is what I have to do)...
The issue is this. When I have to delete a folder from the server, which is usually a folder within a folder, and maybe within another folder, and another, and another (meaning it takes me time to look for this), the Finder deltes the folder (and asks if I am sure I want to delete it, because it will be deleted forever since I am deleting it from the server)... and when I say yes, the Finder window that I am currently on (the folder which contains the folder that I am deleting) reverts back to the initial "device-folder" for my local mac pro... meaning the folder which is the main folder of that mac pro, where I can see the mac pro's hard drive, any external hardrives, any usb pen drives, any cds, etc...
So EVERY TIME I delete a folder on the server, which is more than 30 times a day, I get "kicked out" of the foler which contains the folder to be deleted, and gows back to tha "main" folder of my computer, so I have to go back to the server, back to the folder, and sometimes it is a folder, within a folder, within a folder, etc, etc, etc, ... and don't tell me the solution is to create a shortcut on my sidebar for that folder, because the folders are the jobs that I may be working on that day, so I could work on as many as 30 different folders per day, and I do have those in my sidebar, but it is still pretty annoying to have to go back to that folder.
One thing I noticed... SOMETIMES, not all the times... IF I delete two folders instead of one, it won't do it... or IF I drag the folder to the trash, instead of clicking on my "delete" icon on my finder's toolbar, it won't do it... but this is only SOMETIMES. So these are not the solutions either.
I can try to get a screen cap tomorrow of the issue, but if anyone has this same issue and knows how to fix it, plese let me know.
I will also try to get more info on my computers OS and the server.

Easiest methods are external hard drive or over home network. Make sure external drive is formatted as FAT32.

Illustrator Script: How can I duplicate a layer ( with sublayers ) with javascript code ?

I want to duplicate a layer structure, as the "Duplicate Layer" submenu do with Javascript code, but I can't.
I can duplicate only PageItems or selected object, but no Layers.
Anybody knows how can I do it ?

The problem with this code is, that it can't duplicate also the sublayers, and the sublayer elements.
Sure I can write a recursive function, but I think there should exist a duplicate function somewhere ( for Photoshop script exist ! ) or a small trick, but I can't find it.

Your "account" in iTunes is your Apple ID, which is what you use to sign in to the iTunes Store to make purchases. iPods are associated with an iTunes library, not with an Apple ID (iTunes Store account). So, this is what I think you are saying. You previously shared an iTunes library on a computer with your friend. Your old iPod was synced to that iTunes library.
You got an iPhone, and at that time, you set up your own iTunes library. Is that on a different computer? How does the iPhone affect your question about the iPod?
You got a new iPod. What is your "old iTunes"? Is that the iTunes library you shared with your friend?

Do you mean you no longer see the option for Podcasts in the menu of the iPod?
If so, go to Settings > Main Menu, scroll to Podcasts and press the center button to turn it back on.

Indesign from Illustrator Script

I'd like to automatically open InDesign/InDesign script from an Illustrator script.
There would be some arrays with data that will be passed on to the InDesign script for processing.
I thought that involved #target indesign but that does not seem like what I need to do.
I may just export the values to a txt from Illustrator if there are a lot of bugs in this process and then run the other script manually from InDesign.

Cannot see Bridge folder on BlackBerry's SD Card in PlayBook Bridge Files

I have learned that when downloading a file through the messages app on the PB, the file is stored in /Media Card/BlackBerry/documents/Bridge. These files are accessible on the BB through the email the attachment came in. However, I cannot access these files directly through the Bridge Files app as I cannot see the Bridge folder on my SD card. However, if I download an attachment from my BB and select Store on Media Card, it is stored in /Media Card/BlackBerry/documents/ and is fully accessible from the PB.
Any ideas why I cannot see the Bridge folder from the PB? Is that by design? I know it is hidden by default, but I make it visible so it shows in the BB's Files app. If I rename the folder to Bridge2, it is fully accessible on the PB and subsequently loaded documents are in a newly-created Bridge folder, which is again hidden by default.

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to this. The linked support article addresses the issue directly (thank you both), but the method recommended there (importing the entire AVCHD folder structure) didn't solve the problem. The small number of videos that iPhoto could not see originally also did not get imported, though the ones that it could originally see, did. Luckily since the percentage seems to be small (~10%), it is not prohibitive to open them one by one in Quicktime, re-export them, and then import them into iPhoto. Hopefully this will be fixed in the future. Thank you all for your suggestions.

How to copy a folder from TFS source control to Shared location with Powershell script

I'm looking for a Powershell script where i could copy a folder from TFS Source control to a shared location.
Details:
$TeamProject/FolderA - here i want to move FolderA to a shared location called \\Share
Tried with xcopy: xcopy "$TeamProject/FolderA" "\\Share" ( but no luck, later i found it's only possible to copy files from local to share or share to share location, not from server path to shared location.
Can someone help me with the power-shell script to achieve above scenario.

Convert Illustrator script from cs3 to CS5

Hi Everyone,
I'm new to illustrator scripting I did some simple InDesign script before but this the first time I am ask to create script for Illustrator.
We have an old script that will create a report for the properties (e.i.: fonts, linkedImages, strokeWeights, dashes, strokeColors, etc.) of illustrator file. The script is working in CS2 and CS3 but since most of production people are now using CS5 and CS6 they ask if we could migrate this script to CS5. The script is using hashtable.jsx to get those properties. Does the CS5 script still need hashstable file or I have to create the script from scratch with out using the hashtable script?
Any suggestion or information on how I could convert the script to higher version is mostly appreciated.

I can't see #include in the script the only thing hashtable is called by this function. According to what I've read about the hashtable.jsx since it is in the startup script folder illustrator will autoload this script upon launching of the application.

How to INCLUDE a folder from Cache in a back-up

I have an annoying program that stores essential information in a small folder (150 MB) within the cache, here:
/Users/myusername/Library/Caches/Unityx
Time Machine normally excludes all caches from backup.
However, I actually want to use Time Machine to back up the files within this individual folder, which are updated very frequently.
I don't want to back up any other Cache folders though.
Has anyone got any ideas how I can do this?
(I'd prefer not to simply remove the Library/Caches folder from the exclusion list because I don't want my whole backup drives filled with Cache backups).

I would have a serious discussion with the developer of that app about that... it's a mighty poor design choice to put important data there with no option to move it! Still, you yourself can't change it, so...
I don't think you'll be able to do what you want with Time Machine, but there are a couple options. One would be to create a script that runs periodically and copies the contents of that folder to another location, where it will be backed up. Another would be to use a different backup program that will back up caches, like Carbon Copy Cloner. (Note that I always recommend maintaining two different backup schemes anyway. My personal system is to use Time Machine for one backup and Carbon Copy Cloner for two others.
