Referral Date Nightmare
Hello Guys,
I am somewhat new to SQL. I really need some help with the following query. I have three tables like so:
tblclient
perid
name
dob
tblreferral
refid
type
info
commments
tblreferralaction
refactid
status (allocate, nfa, closed)
status date
I need to get the list of referrals, per client, in chronological order using the dates from the referralaction table. A allocations status will be given once a referral is open. A status of NFA or Closed means that referral is closed.
A client can have many referrals, i need to identify the current one and have the others with their open and closed dates.
I have tried pivoting the data and just cannot get it to work due to the various dates following on.
Please can someone help?!
Thanks in advanced!
Kind Regards
Jonathan
Hi Jon, The DDL is unclear and not sure how each table linked/relate to each other.
I have assumed few keys as relation between tables and the following is the basic query to be tweaked further. Please let me know your thoughts.
SELECT
C.[PERID], -- C.[name],C.[dob],
R.[REFID], -- R.[type],R.[info],[R.comments],
RA.[refactid], -- RA.[status],
RA.[status date]
FROM
tblclient AS C
INNER JOIN
tblreferral AS R ON C.[PERID] = R.[PERID]
INNER JOIN
tblreferralaction AS RA ON R.[REFID] = RA.[REFID]
WHERE RA.[status] ='allocate' --- RA.[status] not in ('nfa', 'closed')
ORDER BY C.[PERID], R.[REFID], RA.[refactid], RA.[status date] desc
three tables like so:
tblclient
perid (PK)
name
dob
tblreferral
refid (PK)
PERID (FK)
type
info
commments
tblreferralaction
refactid (PK)
REFID (FK)
status (allocate, nfa, closed)
status date

Does Safari use send referrer data for open tabs?
If I have 8 tabs open in iPhone Safari and click a link that opens a "new" window (new meaning it takes over an open tab), does Safari send the referrer to the destination's web site/analytics as the spawning URL or the page that was overtaken? I don't mind if it's the spawning but I hate the idea of the open page being shared.
Any insight anyone might have?

Report data binding error unknown column name
Hi,
I am having a problem with the new 7.02 update of Report
Builder. The issue is it's not finding my SQL query.
I have wrote my query initally in the advance mode, and it
doesn't seem to reconize it. Is there an issue with this?
I did manage to fix one of my reports by using the basic mode
and selecting all my tables and seting my linkage and criteria.
I have other computers that i have not updated to 7.02 and
they do not have this issue. Below is the error:

This report works in 7.01. So all query variables match with
a variable in the SQL select statement.
Anyone have any Ideas??
Thanks,
DanielThank you very much for help.
The "Unknown column name " is a field still used in my
report, so I can't remove it.
After I clear the query in the report and reopen the report
and apply the same query back to it, I get different error message:
Element TASKNUM is undefined in QUERY.
The error occurred in : line 1
-1 : Unable to display error's location in a CFML template.
I know for sure this "Element TASKNUM is undefined in QUERY."
is defined in query. each time it complains something different. I
get really confused.
Thanks again.

Crystal Reports not displaying all data
We have a simple report pulling from 3 tables on a sql server. For some reason, data from one table does not fully display. The table is called Referral, and we have some clients that have a Referral record tied to them. Out of a report of 20 records, we will have 3-4 that won't display the referral data (even though I can see it in the database), but the other 16 records will. If I go into the database, and change the data on one of the non-displaying referral records and save, it will start displaying. If I then change the data back to the original, it will also display. Being new to Crystal Reports, I don't know if this is a Crystal issue or a problem at the data source, but thought I would put it out here in case someone is familiar with this problem. Our Crystal Reports version is 2011.
Thanks.Hi
This could be either table join problem in your crystal reports designer or when you are linking the tables it is unable to match the records.
-- Go in Crystal reports designer and refresh the report and go in Database Menu--Show SQL query and copy the SQL and run the same at database end and check.
Also you said you are able to see all records at database end, if you are extracting data through SQL you can very well copy that SQL in crystal reports under 'Add Command' option and create your report.
You will find Add command option under your Database connection while creating a report.
Thanks,

Hi Everyone,
I am having some issues accessing the methods in the datasource.cfc in the adminAPI.
I can successfully load the administrator CFC and am told that I have successsfuly logged in;
But when I try to subsequently load the datasource.cfc I get an error that the current user is unable to access the method.
/* Create an Admin API object and call the login method */
var local = {};
Obj = createObject("component", "cfide.adminapi.administrator");
/* Enter your password for the CF Admin */
/* if you dump this - TRUE is returned */
Obj.login(adminPassword="my_admin_user_password");
/* Create an object of datasource component */
Obj = createObject("component", "cfide.adminapi.datasource");
writeDump(local.dsnObj.getDataSources());
I tried creating separate admin users and passwords - yhinking that perhaps a revent hotfix had stopped the "admin" user from being allowed to use the adminAPI - but changing to a new adminuser yielded the same results.
I could login to the admin API with the new username and passsword - but could not access the datasource.cfc after that.
Here is the debug output from the error...
The current user is not authorized to invoke this method.

This perspn seems to be having the same issue;
http://forums.adobe.com/message/5051892
and I agree I don't have "E" drive either!I've found a solution to my plight - I don't know if it'll work for you or help you try something that MAY fix it.
I use a common code set which includes the Application.cfc from a CF Mapping - So, in the application.cfc in the actual website I do this:-
<cfinclude template="/UberDirectory/Application.cfc">
Then, in the /UberDirectory/Application.cfc, I was initialising a CFC which checks if the datasource was created for the website. The datasource checking code attempts to log into the Admin API and check & create if necessary the datasource.
This has previously worked without fail for me - But in this instance it failed!! I was doing two things wrong - Firstly, the CFC should only be called in the Application.cfc in the onRequestStart section as the Application had to be initialised first - This is maybe because I've invoked the application.cfc in a "non-standard" manner.
Secondly, once I'd moved the CFC invocation into oNRequestStart I saw the following error:-
The string COOKIE.CFAUTHORIZATION_uber-directory is not a valid ColdFusion variable name.
I had this as the app name .... <cfset this.name = 'uber-directory'>
Changedthe dash to an underscore and I was away and could once again check the datasources
Hope it helps

HTML special characters in form input
In my site I store form input in my database. Before I store
the data, I parse out smart quotes, en dashes, and other extended
special characters and convert them into HTHML quivalents such as
’
All is well and good until the user goes to edit their info.
In my form these characters show up in my <input> tags as
their long-winded HTML equivalents, such as ’ instead of
a smart apostrophe.
Is there any way to convert these back to the special
characters from the HTML on the form input text fields so that
users can edit them without being confused?
Thanks.Hmmm, well I ran the MX 6.1 updater and installed the two hot
fixes that had to do with null pointer exceptions and it still does
not work.
Here is the detailed error I'm getting, if it helps. Any more
ideas? Thanks again for the help, I'm really stuck on this one...

How can I process an SSO Logon Ticket in ColdFusion 9?
Hi,
We want to integrate some CouldFusion templates on the SAP portal and I try to process the SSO Logon Ticket using the following code:
<cfif IsDefined("Cookie.MYSAPSSO2") AND Cookie.MYSAPSSO2 neq "">
<cfscript>
ticket = Cookie.MYSAPSSO2;
sso = createObject("java", "SSO2Ticket");

sysID = result[2]; //Second element is the id of the issuing system
client = result[3]; //Third element is the client of the issuing system
portalUser = result[5]; //Portal user

</cfscript>
<h2>Ticket content:</h2>
<cfdump var="#result#">

The certificate verify.pse and the current version of the libraries libsapcrypto.so, libsapssoext.so and libslcryptokernel.so are stored at the same location.
After logging in into a SAP portal I get following error when executing the script:

Many thanks
LajosThank you for your assistance in this matter.
This has been frustrating the crap out of me for the last week (not that the photo is important, it is just that I like to conquer and solve this types of issues)
I was shooting with an aperture of 7.1.
I changed the exposure on the photos as you had done previously but this only blew out the watch and I couldn't recover it afterwards and the alignment was no better any way. So then I started experimenting as you suggested, and I don't know if what I am about to write is acceptable in an Adobe forum, but here goes.
I tried Helicon Focus and it was terrible, but I must admit I didn't know how to really use it, it doesn't seem to have any alignment function and is very difficult to try to use and understand.
then I tried Hugin and I am not even sure if this is image stacking software or just an alignment software, anyway that didn't work either and kept saying the output was a very bad match.
THEN I downloaded and tried zerestacker (free 30 day trial) (after reading about it in a google search) and WOW, it worked amazing, see below photo, it was so easy to use and the interface is easy as well and it does the alignment and stacking in the same process and you can see the image output show up on the left of the screen. Sorry PS but I will be using ZS for photostacking from now on. Adobe need to buy this company and incorporate it in to PS CC6.
This is just so much better than anything I got out of PS, there is no ghosting or blurring and the alignment is perfect and it is so simple to use. -
Problems with all Adobe sites + Dreamwaver install
Hi
Sorry to post here - the first half of this topic is general,
the second half is Dreamweaver.
1. I have been having loads of problems with Adobe websites

I had to disguise my IP in order to download it - it seems
they do not want my money!

Problem removing referrals in 5.2
Hi.
I've been trying to relocate some data from one set of DS installations to another set, on the same machines--which I did by replicating to the new master, promoting it to hub, adding the new replica, promoting the new master to master, enabling multimaster, then disabling replication from the old master and then taking it down. Everything went fairly smoothly, except I ended up with some strange behavior when changes are being made on the replica--and the only thing I can come up with to explain it is that there are referrals from the connections to the original pair of servers, which will NOT go away permanently.
The master has a referral to the old master, though it shouldn't be using it at all. However, nothing I can do will make this referral go away permanently. If i delete it from the console, directly, it goes away--then comes back either in a matter of minutes, or after a restart. Same if I delete it from the dse.ldif file. I can't find anything else which holds this referral data (including the o=netscaperoot area of the config directory), where it could be reloading every time I restart. Clearly the "Delete" function in the console is pointless since no delete will actually stick.
But I think my problem is on my replica, where I have referrals to two different servers, which may both have been the current master, but while it was on two different ports (btw, I'll point out as well that changing the port the server runs on via the console appears to leave a lot of configs pointing to the original install port, implying it's far from a clean port change). And my best guess as to the strange behavior I'm seeing is that somehow the replica is trying to pass referrals to both server instances, which are actually the same master, and the master is attempting to make the change twice. Which causes problems when you're doing adds and deletes--the first one works fine, but then you get an error that it already exists or that there's no such object.
I even brought back my original master instance and made sure to delete (rather than merely disabling) the original replication agreements, on the theory that only by deleting would the replica know to remove the referral, but that didn't work either. So as it stands, I have 2 bad referrals on 2 instances, and no way I can find anywhere, as to how to remove these referrals without completely replacing the instances. I may end up deciding I need to rebuild the replica anyway, in hopes this will clear up my problems, if I don't get a solution to this behavior very quickly. Getting errors every time you try to access/modify ldap is hardly a desirable state of affairs.
Anyone, help?I had master:4389 -> replica:4389. I added master:3389 as consumer. I promoted master:3389 to hub and added replica:3389. I promoted master:3389 to master as part of a step-by-step process to verify at each stage things were still working properly. Made master:4389 and master:3389 multimaster. Then either demoted master:4389 to hub or just disabled its replication agreements and shut it down. Then with only master:3389 and replica:3389 left, I changed the ports for both instances to get them back to port 4389.
This left the master, now back to 4389, witha referral to master:4389 which was impossible to delete. And replica, now 4389, with referrals to both master:4389 and master:3389. Deleting the referrals didn't work, obviously.
A little while ago, I returned the new master:4389 to master:3389, and replica:4389 to replica:3389 (as mentioned, there were other references to the port number which didn't change with a console port-number change), brought back the old master:4389, and deleted both of its replication agreements. Referrals weren't automatically removed. Deleted them manually again. They stayed gone... until I restarted the directory servers. Are you claiming the only way to remove a referral to a nonexistent master is to completely turn off replication at the consumer? That seems kind of stupid, considering the whole point of this promotion-demotion thing is to enable smooth and flexible reorganization of your replication architecture--if I have to disable replication in order to do it safely, that seems an extremely questionable requirement, and certainly not one that's advertised anywhere I've been able to find.
And you can't make a server a master without promoting it. If you enable replication as a consumer in order to get the initial data populated from the old master, in order to change it to be a master itself, you are required to promote it to Hub, so it can add changelog configs, etc, and then promote it to be a master. I suppose if somehow I'd had any reason to know the built-in system for manipulating the replication architecture was this screwy, I might have chosen to turn off replication completely (which may or may not have removed the referral to the original master, I have no proof from anything I've done yet that it would work), then enable it again as a master.
But why would I do that? Without some reason to believe things wouldn't work as advertised?? -

-GBKWe do a lot of work with web service APIs using coldfusion. A while ago, we decided it was much easier (especially when dealing with complex web service invocations) to switch to posting/receiving the raw XML SOAP messages in order to exchange data with the remote web service. Ben Nadel has a great article that outlines what is involved:
http://www.bennadel.com/blog/1809-Making-SOAP-Web-Service-Requests-With-ColdFusion-And-CFH TTP.htm
What's more, you can use a lot of free/OSS tools to generate a template for the Request/Response SOAP messages, so it really just winds up being a matter of creating your XML in a cfsavecontent block and adding your variables in place of the sample text. We use SOAPSonar from Crosscheck networks (http://www.crosschecknet.com/products/soapsonar.php) - they have a free "personal" edition that will parse a WSDL and generate the resulting XML SOAP messages that you can use as a template.
The only major issue is you have to watch out for the XML namespaces in the response that comes back from the web service. ColdFusion (not surprisingly) has a major issue with extracting data using XMLSearch() from an XML node that includes a name space. There are a couple of work-arounds - you could use a local-name() xpath method to perform a namespace-agnostic search, or you could use regular expressions to just strip all the namespace data out of the XML and parse using ColdFusion.
Anyway, the implementation winds up looking something like this:
<!--- build Soap XML --->
<cfsavecontent variable="sSOAPBody">
<cfoutput>
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<soap:Envelope xmlns:soap="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/">
<soap:Body>
<myMethod>
<firstArgument>#MyValue#</firstArgument>
</myMethod>
</soap:Body>
</soap:Envelope>
</cfoutput>
</cfsavecontent>
<!--- Send SOAP data using CFHTTP --->
<cfhttp url="URL of Web service (e.g. .asmx, .cfc - no WSDL)" method="post">
<cfhttpparam type="header" name="SOAPAction" value="http://target_namespace_goes_here/method">
<cfhttpparam type="header" name="accept-encoding" value="no-compression">
<cfhttpparam type="xml" value="#trim(sSOAPBody)#">
</cfhttp>
<!--- Parse XML Response in CFHTTP.FileContent ---> -

Thanks,
ArtIt means that you are attempting to run a custom tag bue CF
cannot find de .cmf file.
The .cfm file must be in the same folder that is called or in
the custom tag folders in the CF instalation.
