Refresh view for snapshot

Hi
I have a problem with xml import.
I'm using
InterfacePtr<ICommand> importCmd(CmdUtils::CreateCommand(kImportXMLFileCmdBoss));
to import xml in tagged document but I try to make a snapshot directly after :
CmdUtils::ProcessCommand(importCmd);
The text block appear entirely white/empty in the exported picture even if there was previously a text in it, but the text is well imported after.
Is there a way to refresh the view ?
Does the command processing is postponed ?
Is it possible that the snapshot occur during the xml import ?

I am having the same problem, any ideas? I've tried saving the document, calling ProcessScheduledCmds(), and InvalidateViews() to no avail. The text is already imported in the boxes (if I export a PDF it comes out ok), but the jpeg always comes out with a white space where the text should be. This is in CS3.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Edit: Nevermind, the Frame was invisible in Preview mode so it didn't appear in the Jpg.

Group Tree issue when refreshing- Crystal for Visual Studio 2010 WPF Viewer

Hello,
We've run into an issue when refreshing reports with the WPF viewer for Visual Studio 2010. After the report is refreshed, the Group Tree is blank and it should have values. For example, you run a report and see values in the Group Tree. If you refresh the report with the same parameter values the Group Tree is blank.
Has anyone run into this yet?

That is correct.
I just did a quick test and was not able to reproduce the issue.
Details of test:
1) Create a new app;
File | New | Project
Visual Basic | reporting -> Crystal Reports WPF Application
2) Add the "Open File" button to the viewer (ShowOpenFileButton off of the WPF viewer properties)
3) Run app
4) Browse to a report that has a number of groups >250
5) Refresh report using the Refresh button on the viewer
I'll work on this a bit later today, see if I can repro it another way. Meanwhile, can you provide mode details (code) on how you repro the issue?

CDC feature for snapshots and views

Hi,
Can we use the Oracle Change Data Capture (CDC) feature which can be used with Oracle's Publish and Subscribe packages for views and snapshots in Oracle 10g? Or is it only for tables?

This is question for Oracle support as DI is just using it. And they will tell you that it is for tables only.

Materialized view and snapshot

A snapshot, is in general terms, a picture, a click of a camera, an image that captures the position/state of something at sometime.
Snapshot in a database can take many points of view.
Materialized view (MV) is an object in Oracle database. It "materializes" a view, by taking a snapshot, of the view when you actually create the MV, and preserve it for future use. It can be refreshed in several available ways.
A view doesn't occupy any space, a MV does.

Refresh view forms after change records in db?

Hello,
I have problem with refresh view in master-detail form. If I press button with trigger which inserts records in master and detail table, I see change only in master table in forms. In trigger is clause execute_query; but it doesn't work. If I refresh internet search (internet explorer) then I see change in all tables, but I want see this changes after press button with trigger.
Any suggestion?

This is large trigger and I make simplest this code.
There are two tables: sprawy and watki. Table sparwy is master table and watki is detail table. And button with trigger is on master object in forms.

In this palce is ok and I see changes on my form in IE.
Under are records which are inserted in database, but I can't see this changes in form.
If I take count_query, then I get message that there are new records, but if I press execute_query, forms told my that, there aren't any records ! In DB are all records which I inserted. But If I click refresh on Internet Explorer, that I see changes.

this clauses make refresh all table in master-detail model.

Creating classification view for the material

hi friends,
i need to create a material with various views (as in MM03) based on the material type.
i am using BAPI_MATERIAL_SAVEDATA for it.
i am able to create almost all the views except the the classification view for the material.
can anyone help me with code (i need to write) to create a classification view for the material?

Hi Portal Experts,
How to change the UWL refresh rate for all portal users?
Users can individually change the refresh rate through "Personalise View" in UWL.But we want this to set it for all users(we have 10k portal users).
It was defaultically set to 5 mins for all users.How to change this to 20 mins.

You can access the iView from the UWL administration pages (System Administration ® System Configuration). Navigate to the property editor as follows:
      From the Universal Worklist Systems, choose the system for which you want to edit the properties.
    Choose Edit.

Auto refresh view from sqlPlus, how to?

I'm using Oracle11gr2, and I have a view views for monitoring database, but I dislike an ide of constant refresh of views at my oracle client (toad or another one)..
So, is there a way to show some view's in sql Plus all the time with some auto refresh?

Doesn't seem like sqlplus is the right tool for the what you are trying to accomplish. Don't get me wrong, it's great for "viewing" view information, but outside of manually entering a "/" to refresh the data you should look into writing your own or installing some monitoring software.

Listeners not working on refreshing View

Hi all
I have an application( Virtual WareHouse Monitor) which reads data froma text file and accordingly it generates a 3D view of the warehoue.
Actually when i reopen other new text file on my application , although the 3D view is displayed properly but for this re-opend files listeners are not working.However they were working for the first file.
I have used this code to refresh scene before re-opening a file if other file is previously open.

I have a new iPad3 and have found I cannot open the month of March 2013 when I tap on it. All other months open OK ! I can see March 2013 in the yearly view and I can open the individual days, and weeks, of March 2013 but I cannot see the whole month in the monthly view. When I try to open the monthly view for March 2013 it returns me to the start screen which shows all the apps etc and closes the Calendar app. Any guidance of what is going wrong and how it can be corrected. Create a Maintenance view for table T500P

Hi Experts,
We have a requirement where customer want an additional field in table T500P and for the same a custom maintenanve view has to be created.Moreover, If there is any update insert or change in the ZView/Ztable the same should be reflected in standard table T500P.
Steps already taken :-
We have created a ztable (copy of T500P ) and add the required custom field to it.
We have also copied the view i.e V_T500P to our custom view and also use base table as T500P .
We also create a foreign key for PERSA in Ztable and use T500P as check table for that with cardinality 1:1.
To update the MOLGA & BUKRS field data in ztable we have set both the field as a primary key & create a foreign key with check table T500L & T001 & cardianality as 1:CN for key fields.
In custom maintenance view we have set the realtionship of ztable t500l & t001 with the base table T500P.
Now, if we are trying to maintain the view only T500P table is getting updated and Ztable is updated with only PERSA value.
Please provide some directions for the resolution of this issue.

The view you selected by clicking File > Options > Project View is the default view for every new project you create from a blank project template. This is a global option, so setting it from the checked out Enterprise Global file serves no purpose.
When you select a view as your default view, you will see that view applied to the blank project that is opened when you launch Microsoft Project 2010, and you will see it applied if you create new blank projects. If you create enterprise templates for
people to use in your organization, you should simply apply the view to the template that you want as the default so that users will see this view immediately when they create a new project from the template. In addition, if you apply a view to an open
project, close and check in the project, and then reopen the project, you will see the last view applied in that project (as Guillaume correctly points out).
Beyond this, there is no method possible for the Project Server administrator to specify a default view for the Microsoft Project application used by the project managers in your organization. This is an option each PM must set. Hope this helps.

[ADF Help] How to create a view for multiple tables

Hi,
I am using Jdeveloper 11G and ADF framework, and trying to create a view to update multiple tables.
ex:
Table A has these fields: ID, Name
Table B has these fields: ID, Address
A.ID and B.ID are primary keys.
B.ID has FK relationship with A.ID
(basically, these tables have one-to-one relation)
I want to create a view object, which contains these fields: B.ID (or A.ID), A.Name, B.Address.
So I can execute C,R,U,D for both tables.
I create these tables in DB, and create entity objects for these tables.
So there are 2 entity objects and 1 association.
Then I create a view object based on B and add fields of A into the view:
If the association is not a "Composition Association",
when I run the model ("Oracle Business Component Browser") and try to insert new data, fields of A can't edit.
If the association is a "Composition Association", and click the insert button, I will get
"oracle.jbo.InvalidOwnerException: JBO-25030: Failed to find or invalidate owning entity"
If I create a view object based on A and add filed of B into the view:
When I run the model and try to insert new data, fields of B can't edit, no matter the association is or is not a composition association.
So... how can I create a view for multiple tables correctly?

Thanks, but the result is same ....
In the step 2 of creating view object, I can select entity objects to be added in to the view.
If I select A first, and then select B (the "Source Usage" of B is A), then finishing the wizards.
When I try to create a new record in the view, I can't edit any properties of B (those files are disabled).
If I select B first, and then select A in crating view object, the result is similar ...
