Hi Friends
I need datasource or the infocube if there is any standard for the report with the following fields whose desription are
(Post number, Post name, org unit, Post FTE, Last name and First name of manager, FTE of manager, cost center, funding source, Info on post, end date of funding)
Any light on it will be helpful
And points will surely be awarded

identify the infoobjects for the same in Business content and see where the infoobjects are used by way of cubes / ODS and you can see if there are any reports on the same and activate the same...

Reg: ALV report - output download

Hi Friends,
I am having one issue reg download of ALV (Grid display) report output. we are having vendor number at 1st colomn. It's displaying correctly in output.
(eg:0000100069). But, when I download the output into a excel file, last digit of the vendor number getting truncated. (eg: 100069 becomes 10006).
Kindly help me regarding this ..

Hi,
The problem is in formatting in Excel. U download the data. Then select the column u want to format, right click and select format cells. In that, choose Number and assign decimal places to 0. U will get according to the format u needed.
I worked in this, and got as per the specified format.

Dear Friend,
The sales information system gets updated on the particular Date when the Infotypes are changes or new report is configured.
All the information which you have made relavent to statistics in CMR and MMR and the Sales business flows gets updated in to the infosets.
Check the T-code : OMO1
Now When you will only get the new sales order created old data retriving is not possible as per my knowledge.

What about MB51, isn't it good for that purpose? Of course, if you want to see the opening and closing stock levels too, it doesn't fulfil your requirement.
In this case you have to develop your own report.

Reg: ALV report download to excel currency columns

Hi All,
While downloading the alv report to excel, currency fields with negative sign(less than 0) is downloading without negative sign.
And field catalog wad declared as 'CURR' field for that particular column, if I declared as 'CHAR', i am getting shortdump.
Can any one tell me how to get the negative sign.

As we are Working in a project , where we are using the crystal report as reporting Tool. after importing the report into enterprise. we are plan to export to the excel sheet. where we are facing the issue with , the borders and line are not coming. Is it possible to get the Border as we are created in the Crystal report.
Is there any Other Option there to Procede with Borders and Line as same as Crystal.

Hi All,
While downloading the ALV report into excel file(System -> List -> Save -> Local file) or (List -> Export -> Local file), i cannot download full report in to excel. Even though the report contains just 200 rows(I can able to download about 90 lines).
Some reports can able to download all the data, even the report is very big. Currently I am blind to solve, anyone can help me to solve this issue.

The most elegant way of downloading ALV display data to EXCEL is displaying the excel in the SAP GUI screen itself. Select "Excel in Place" and then save it from there. Before that you need to let the VB script of SAP know as trusted macro. This is done by opening a blank excel file then go to Tools > options > Security > Macro Security > Trusted Publishers (tab) > (check) Trust access to Visual Basic Project. This activation is one time activation. Once you do this you can see ALV display exactly like in normal ALV with all the colors fields etc.

Help to reg. crystal report with java

I have installed the crystal report and J-Integra also.
but I am not able to find the crystl32.ocx in my c:\windows\system32 folder .
So I downloaded it separately and use the J-Integra's com2java convertor to generate crystal package.
Then as per manual I compiled that package and created crystal.jar file.
And while try this setting with a sample code.

Hi,
Go to the attributes of your HR report and in the Attributes pop up, click on the button for Report Category.
In the pop up for (Infotypes) - maintain the report category : _X22T60.
Hope this helps.
If you want to create your own report category, look into maintenance views (SM30 transaction) for tables T599F and T599C.

Hi All,
I am trying to verify the MSS Reports from the portal side. When I click on the links in the reports (Employee Data -- Birthday List,Age/Gender etc......) I am able to get the selection screen pop up window with Launch Pad Reporting.
When I select the list and clicked on Report Result push Button getting the error as follow.

as i siad you arre not using RPTO scenario which is standard
or converted to LPTA
the issue is caused by the Report category
type. The Reporting Iview in the portal has the Report category type,
by default the report category type is set to "RPT0". Therefore, when
the application is launched, the reporting category type is also sent
as URL parameter to the backend system. As of ECC 6.0 only the reporting
category type "RPT0" is supported. There are two ways to handle this
issue, you can either changed the Iview property to "ZMSS" in the portal
, or Therefore the best option would be to change the report category to
"RPT0" in the backend system for all your reports.

But I want add some parameter in selection screen and add some logic .
But this report functionality Drilldown.
Initially I have doubt in this T.code report developed using Report painter & Report writer concepts. But not able to find out library, report group and other Details.
What is the functionality of this form.

One more thing I have downloaded crystal report integration tool from SDN but I dont find crystal 2008runtime_exe file in that zipped folder. From where do we need to download run time.exe
