Hi all,
In my selection screen I have field like date., here it need to show the date as quarter basis.
Example:Here my requirement is when I run the program in April 2009 it needs to show the dates in selection screen field as 01/2009 to 03/2009.
So can you please tell me the way to approach.

I have a requirment that customer wants to see three graphs and data in a single screen.
The data will be avilable in a single query, how can i display. I gone through with many SDN blogs, but i did not get the solution.

First graph Business Unit informaiton, there are around 7 BUs, under each BU, they have 3-7 Industry groups.
Second Graph: Industry Group, under each industry group there are no of customers, i want to display top ten customers.

Assuming you are using WAD;
First graph Business Unit information, there are around 7 BUs, under each BU, they have 3-7 Industry groups.
-You would need to have a Query that displays the BUs with their Industry Group count i.e BU in the Rows with Industry Count as the KF - I assume you want to show count here
-Build a Data Provider DP1 on the Query
-Drag a Chart webitem onto the web template & assign DP1 to it - use a Column/Bar Chart to display the Category 'BU' & Series 'Industry Count'

Cross Appplication data need to displayed.

Hi Friends,
I have to create Info set through below details.
I need to get the data from the table BSAD like Belnr, Vbeln,....etc. And also i need the data of materials matnr and its discription. So i tried to join BSAD and VBRP, but here the problem is in vbrp table there is no data for posnr. First i need to pick belnr say 100000, vbeln say 2000 and posnr say 10.
Affer getting this i need pick matnr and its description.
I need the tables to get data of posnr and the matnr.

BSAD is joined with VBRP BSAD-VBELN, BSAD-POSN2.

Conv. based on the month - Need to display the output in quarterly basis.

Hi Gurus,
I need to display the output quarterly based on the month.
For example,
If the year is 2012 and month is between
01 to 03 i need to display it as 2012Q1
likewise 04 to 06 as 2012q2
and 07 to 09 as 2012q3
and 10 to 12 as 2012q4.
Please help me by providing sample codes. Please help yourself by writing the code and get back when you have a specific question.

To get the last 13 months in webi report .follow below approach
Assuming you have calendar Month object in the report.
convert your selected date into M/d/yy format . let's say you selected 12/18/13 , your variable should be 12/1/13
variable :
Selected Month =ToDate(FormatDate(useresponse("Date");"Mmm yyyy");"Mmm yyyy")
Flag for month =ToDate([CalMonth];"Mmm yyyy")<=[Selected Month]
Report filter =[Flag for month]+Previous(Self)
select the table you want to filter
add filter -> Report filter between 1 to 13.

Need to display data from one group while in another repeating group

I have a repeating group in my .rft file which displays line level data that has a quote number in it.
At the end of this repeating group I need to display the total for the quote number but these values are in another group that's within a differnt group higher up in the XML tree. Both of the groups have quote number so there is a link between the two. How do I do this? When I add the "higher up" repeating group within the current group I can't get any data to show. Any help would be appreciated.

Here's the data, I do know how to to move up the tree like a file system but I think my problem is I need to move up the tree and repeat based on the value (quote number) of the lower node.
For instance for each quote number in repeating group G_FORX_OPS_QTE_ORDER_LINES loop through the occurances of same quote number in G_OPPCAT_BREAKDOWN so I can get a total of the fields by quote number

Need to display footer after displaying some item data

I have the requirement that i need to display only 15 records in a page,If more records display 15 and then need to display footer and need to go next page to display next records.Every thing is ok but how to display footer data after 15 records in first page.Please help me on this.

Hi friend,
Its simple.
Just do the code as follows,
The logic flows like this,
table
Header
Main Area
     at the end of cells add alternatives
     In the alternatives check for loop count (you can use a variable and increment for each loop or you can use sy-index system
     field) check whether the count is 15.
     True break page using commands.
     So the control will come to footer and it will display the footer and the loop will continue.
Footer.
Else try to put the fotter like line type inside the main area and then display it after 15 records and do a page break.
Either of the two ways you can do this.

Table data needs to be displayed with horizontal and vertical lines

Hi,
I need to display the data of the table in the SAP script which is having both horiziontal and vertival lines.
the out put needs to looks as it in Excel...where there are multiple records with 5 fixed coulmns each seprated from one another by horizonalt and vertical lines..
Can you let me know how to proceed in SCRIPT ,,,, where the number of records might vary ..and also ..it might continue to second page..

well it is possible but quite tricky.
All you got in SAP-SCRIPT to achieve this is the BOX-Statement.
The BOX statement works with variables for XPOS, YPOS, WIDTH and HEIGHT. what you need to do is:
- calculate those variables during runtime
- add box-statements with those variables.
to calculate those variables you need to count used lines and so on. i hope i showed you a way, rest is a lil brainwork then.

Here same KPI has different measures in drill down.
Does we need to have different KPIs or can we have different measures for single KPI as per dimension member

Are you saying that you have a KPI that has 2 dimensions but the 2 dimensions have completely different metric calculations so that the component metrics that that are combined to make your DIMM1 have no influence on you DIMM2?
If this is the case then I think you would need 2 separate KPIs which would have different structures.
There is no problem combining multiple metrics together to create a KPI and even incorporating calculations into that combination.
To use an example from the insurance world: Combined Operating Ratio is derived by combining net claims, net commissions and net expenses, each of which is derived from multiple data elements and each of these metrics can be dimensioned by for example product, channel, region.

Need to display/update last date/time of an accessed record

I'm using ADF BC and I have a use case where I need to display the last date/time when a user access a record in a view. I have a user table that I access thru a view object where I can store the date/time of the fetched record. A viewLink from that view object gives me the detail information in that record.
I generated a ViewRowImpl class and added this to the method that get the time and date (DtHeureDernAcces is a private variable in defined in the class):

This works fine until the user refresh the page, in this case the ViewObjImpl is recreated and DtHeureDernAcc is then null. So the date/time is updated after each refresh.
How can I get around this problem ?

The complication here is that &P7_DATE_SHIPPED. and &P7_DATE_ORDERED. are session-state variables - they don't actually get updated until the page submit completes, which is happening AFTER the dynamic action.
JavaScript might provide an alternative method that will pick up the current values of those fields. You might try something like:

Assuming you have an InfoObject for Quarter (say 0CALQUARTER) & Month (say 0CALMONTH), drag the Quarter InfoObject & Month InfoObject below in the Columns. Drag your KFs i.e. Planned Qty & Actual Qty below the Month InfoObject to form a KF structure. If you don't want Qty Unit to be displayed alongside your KFs, use NODIM() function & display Unit in the Rows.

I have two date chars, 'Begin date' (4/1/2007 ) & 'End date' (10/1/2011 ) in two different coulums & I need to display them in one column like 4/1/2007 - 10/1/2011, which would specify period i.e 'Begin date' to 'End date'. Can anyone please let me know how I could do this in Query designer?

as per ur issue it seems u want tod isplay the date start and end in the header area
this can be acheived using Text variables.
u can create 2 text variables whose value is either user entry and whose reference char is Calday
lets say ur user enters 2 date ,one as start date and another as end date.
so u can create a variable A & B whose reference characteristics is 0calday
now in query designer u select in column description where u wish to display date.
then in description side u will see a icon
if u click it u will be able to include text variabel in description
now here create 2 variables x & y
variable x
replacement path variable
reference char---0calday
replacement path tab....
variable is replaced by variable
now select ur variable A.
similarly create variable y
theni n description u can include variable and put like this...
variablex----variable y
this should solve ur issue

Need to display date result but has to exclude sat & sun day

I need to display date (A), from the plan date (B) for qty more than 10, but the result of A, should be B -10 and should not include sat & sunday.
I managed to do in excel but I have problem in oracle sql here.
My quote in excel, =IF(qty<=10, WORKDAY(plan_date,-5), WORKDAY(plan_date,-10))
If qty=12, plan_date is 30/05/11, the result is 16/05/11
qty=2, plan_date is 30/05/11, the result is 23/05/11
Anyone can help me to quote in SQL ?

PARAMETERS: P_DATE(8) DEFAULT SY-DATUM.
DATA: DATE_OUT(10).
START-OF-SELECTION.
WRITE P_DATE USING EDIT MASK '____-__-__' TO DATE_OUT.
- ALV:
The catalog table should have a field to indicate the mask, you can insert a musk like above.
