Reg: display the warning message in alv out put

Hi All,
i am uloading the flat file data ,display in the alv grid in the edit mode. when i am trying to change the output data in grid, for which are having the blank (no value for the field) , i want to display warning message the selected cell is blank.
could u help me on this please.

For editing the ALV cell .. you would be writing some code .. which is mandt rite ?
So before that code u check the filed value ..initial or not ..

I am validaing the Root node using determination(on modify) and raising warning messages , and these warning messages needs to caprured onclicking save button. when clicking save button twice the warning messages goes off and displays "Save not required" I need to display the warning messages untill user modifyies the data...

Dear Sasi,
Are you able to display messages on application screen?
Why do you want to double click on the SAVE button?
Your issue is not clear.
You can have validation class created where in you can validate certain conditions and raise messages if required criteria is not satisfied.

Yes you are right, The warning message is being displayed on Page2 when user clicked on 'Save' button on Page2. The Code snippet is being executed in ServiceImpl class when user clicks on the Save button.
Basically, I am validating the Page1 data and Page2 data on Page2 when User clicks on the Save button on page2.

That error message suggest you have a permissions issue. Make sure you have full read/write privileges for the Drive/ Folder location that you are copying the files to.

How to turn off the warning message when re-compiling jsp in embedded OC4J?

I would like to remove the annoying warning messages whenever we re-compile a jsp file using embedded OC4J.
Steps:
1. create an web project
2. create a test jsp file (say, test.jsp)
3. run the jsp file.
4. on the jsp visual editor, modify the jsp file.
5. go to the browser, reload the page. the following warning messages are displayed:

I'm so much glad to see JDeveloper giving out all the details and warnings, but sometimes they spit out too much warning messages that simply annoys and distracts my programming.
There seems to be no parameters for me to shut those up, maybe I should do it manually?

I've already tried setting up the j2ee-config.xml file, but
it seems that the warning message does not come from the oc4j, but is generated when jsp file is being compiled, so no matter what you do with the j2ee-config.xml, it would not work to remove the warnings.
I was thinking maybe I could setup the java compiler option found in server.xml, by adding -nowarn option in javac options attribute, but it seems that the file server.xml gets overwritten automatically whenever the oc4j restarts (so, no avail).
So... any other ideas?

Displaying Custom Error Message in ALV

Usually, when an error occurs in editable ALV, the standard WD ALV functionality marks the particular error cell in red and displays the error message.
I want the same functionality for custom error messages in event ON_DATA_CHECK. I'm able to display the message, but looking for a way to mark cells as well.

How to remove the 'New Entry' button in the warning message for a dialog bo

Hi Experts,
I am calling a Modal Dialog box screen having a pushbutton.
On the click of the pushbutton, I am performing some checks, and giving a warning message.
The warning message comes as a popup in this case and has three buttons on it.
One of these buttons is titled 'New entry'.
I dont want that button to come on the warning popup.
Please let me know if there is a way out for this.

But, in my dialog screen, on click of the button I am simply using the statement :
MESSAGE W000(0K) with 'text'.
The resulting warning message comes as a popup with the 'New Entry' button on it.
From the warning popup, how can I remove the button.

Is there a way to expand the text area of the login/lock screen for the warning message?

I put our company's standard warning message in the Security & Privacy system preference ("Show a message when the screen is locked.") and it overflowed the allotted text area for the warning message text on the login screen and lock screens. It seems that the area allows about 250 character messages and I need to provide about 500 characters. Is there any way to expand the text area allotted for this purpose?

Maybe you can try FMs instead of BDC to achieve your goal:
Creating/confirming transfer order (WM) using bapi/function modules
E.g. L_TO_CREATE_SINGLE, L_TO_CREATE_MULTIPLE,L_TO_CONFIRM (which are mentioned in the thread linked above)

How to display error message as as status message on the screen(module pool).
The requirement is if I call the screen, it should get with the error message in the status bar. If I write with error message 'E' error mesage information displays and when I click on exit, it lives the current transaction.

LEAVE TO SCREEN XXXX.
After displaying the information message like E, leave to the screen you want to navigate or can also navigate to the transaction required.
