Reg: IDOC import

Hi guys,
While importing the idocs in ESR (PI 7.1) ,after giving application server, sytem number ,user id and password getting error as "Authentication not sufficient " , i enabled the option in the SWCV for importing idocs.
Please let me know whether there is any version dependency for imporitng IDOCS from R/3.

IDOC Import from R/3 4.6C - login issue

Hi all,
I am having difficulties with IDOC import into the Integration Builder (Design). I have set everything up in SLD and in integration builder but am experiences some strange behaviour on import. I wonder if anyone has any ideas!
So if I go to Imported Objects -> Import Of SAP Objects and then fill out my connection data and logon, I get errors. If I logon as myself (a full admin user on the R/3 system - verified and used many times!) I get the immediate message that: "You are not authorized to logon to the target system (error code 1)". I know this not to be true as at the very same time I am logged in via front-end. So I tried SAP* and that works, but only to a point, and I receive a different error message. From reading some relevant notes there are specific authorizations/configuration required which could explain why it fails with SAP* (types are not imported) but I don't want to mess with the SAP* or DDIC user and cannot understand why I can't use any other user regardless it seems of what Authorizations I give them. Any ideas what I am missing!

First, look at OSS Note : 807895.
Quick solution would be 'Change ALL your password in XI landscape to Upper case'.

IDoc import failed (RemoteUploadException - no_transaction)

Hi all!
I'm trying to import an idoc to the XI integration repository, but the import fails with the following message:
**Ready for import**
Import started...
ZXIJ3AMAT./AFS/MATMAS04.ZXIMAT:
com.sap.aii.ibrep.sbeans.upload.RemoteUploadException: Commit of the transaction not possible because the status is: no_transaction
Import failed with 1 error
Please note the following:
- iDoc import (of ALL iDocs) was always OK, up to now...
- from now on, iDoc import is NOT successul for all sort of iDocs
- in SWCV, no recent changes in "Connection Data for Import from SAP System"
After this message,
trying to open the iDoc interface definition => then browsing into, a message/popup appears like that:
Schema for type ZXIMAT.E1MARCM (category Data Type) not found
(furthermore, red-highlighted the corresponding row)

problem is solved.
It was caused by an Oracle tablespace to be extended:
> com.sap.aii.ibrep.sbeans.upload.RemoteUploadException: ORA-01691:
> unable to extend lob segment SAPXIDDB.SYS_LOB0000039485C00004$$ by 128
> in tablespace PSAPXIDDB
I could notice this in following days, trying to import again...

Get Message when ALE Idoc-Import cancelled

Hello,
I would like to get informed, when our regularly ALE Idoc-Import has cancelled. Today we receive Idocs from an SAP R/3 of our parent company over night within actual currency. Sometimes the Import by ALE Idocs has cancelled for example if there are some currency-codes are missing in target-system BW. We only have a chance get informed about the import-status by using TC BD87 and have a look into the status monitor. Alternative we can have a look by TC CCMS.
Does anybody has an idea how to design automatically a message into SAP workplace or something like this (in best case getting in E-Mail), if the import has cancelled? In other cases we could design this workaround if a BI process-chain-job has cancelled. But this workaround has been designed by external consultant and are not here any more.
Maybe anyone at this place has an idea...

What version of iPhoto are you using and from where (and how) are you trying to import the photos?
As a first fix attempt try this: launch iPhoto with the Option key held down and create a new, test library. Import some photos and see if you get the same message. If you don't then the problem lies with your current library.

IDOC import from CRM 7.0 to SAP PI 7.0 fails: unable to read segments

Hello,
We want to import an Idoc from a CRM 7.0 system to SAP PI 7.0.
The import fails with the message ""unable to read segments".
The issue is related to ALL Idocs, standard and customer defined.
The result of any import is that we can see the object in the import folder, but the structure is missing.
Importing any RFC from the same CRM system is no problem.
Any ideas?

Thank you for your answer.
But we need to find out what the reason for this import error is.
Our customer will not be very pleased to see that all IDocs from CRM system cannot be found in the IDOC folder.
IDX2 import of metadata is no issue.
We were successful for standard and customer Idocs here.
Additional information:
We are already importing Idocs from a SAP ECC 6.0 system into PI in another SWCV
successfully. So this is a CRM system specific issue in our environment.

IDOC imported in XI

Hi,
I created an IDOC in R/3 and imported it in XI.
On execution of my report in R/3 the IDOC created a message in XI.
Then I had to change one of the segments of the IDOC so i reimported it in XI to reflect the change.
Now on execution of my report my IDOC gets stuck in SM58.
When i try to debug the LUW it says <b>Name or Password incorrect.</b>
I havent changed any settings.
And the same settings work for others.
Any Idea?

Thanks for your quick reply.
Well I have my settings and authorization in SM59 in
place.
Since its possible to have a remote logon from SM59 and
on entering the XI system from SM59 it doesnt ask me for the user id or password.
Hence i dont see any problem there.
One more thing when i debug my LUW in SM58. I can see that the debugger stops in the XI system where i dont have authorization to debug.
I really dont understand where the problem lies.
Since just before changing my segment, everything was working fine.

Reg: IDOC Schema

Hi Guys,
My Basis team imported the MATMAS03 IDOC.
When trying to access that IDOC in my mapping, it is showing that IDOC schema doesnot exist.
my R/3 version is 4.5.
Can any one guess what should be the problem.

Idoc import

Hi,
IDOC with same basic type will overwrite with each other when we import from SAP to XI?
Eventh the extension type and Idoc type are different.

When iam trying to import the IDOC --> PREQCR.PREQCR02 to my imported objects in Integration Repository by using Application Server, system number and user name and password, the following error iam getting.
PREQCR.PREQCR02: Error
+ Error: IDoc type PREQCR02 contains errors (unable to read segments)
Import failed with 1 error.

R u trying this on R/3 5.0,
try importing PREQCR02 in R/3 4.7, It gets imported successfully..
Or else contact u r Basis person if u want to use R/3 5.0

Is there any specific process to import an Idoc in the metadata because when i imported an Idoc directly by using the tab create, i am facing a error while testing the file to Idoc scenario.

Metadata gets filled at runtime. If you have changed IDOC after running scenario, delete metadata for the message at XI ( T Code: IDX2) and run it. (at XI)
Make sure that Logical System has Outbound/Inbound message type assigned (WE20at R/3) & (IDX1 at XI)
If you have problem retrieving/getting
config at XI end:
SM59: RFC Destination - <SID>CLNT<INS> (target host, system number points to ABAP Server : Client: xxx, user abcd). Check that remote logon works without asking for username/pwd.
at R/3:
Create logical system names in SALE/BD54:
SM59: RFC Destination for XI (same pattern)
SM59: RFC destination to self
SXMB_ADM : Integration Engine configuration: Change Global definition:
Role: Application system
Corresponding Integration Server: http://<host>:<port>/sap/xi/engine?type=entry

SAP IDOC import from XI

I'm trying to import IDOC from SAP, but i'm getting "login failed (authorization insufficient)" error. But i'm able to login into SAP GUI using the same login info. What authorizations/roles i should have on SAP and XI system for IDOC transfers?

Hi Anika,
These roles shud be assigned to the user which you use to login to the SAP R/3 system as from this R/3 system you are trying to import IDoc into SAP-XI after getting connected.
You may be able to login using the id w/o these roles thru SAP GUI but its not necessary that you have authorization to import the IDoc. Hence you need to add these roles to the user profile.

IDOC importing issue

I am importing IDOC ALEAUD01 in PI but one of the structure is getting missing.
I checked in SAP system as well there structure is perfect.
Can some tell me what can be a issue.

IDOC Structure in SAP is :
ALEAUD01---->E1ADHDR->E1STATE----> E1PRTOB
When i import this in PI it looks like below
ALEAUD01------>E1ADHDR (This node is maked in RED)

Reg: Cannot Importing B2mml XSD's successfully into PI External defnitions

Hi! PI Team,
I would like to know one interesting topic about B2MML structures. Here as per my requirement we are trying to integrate MES application with ECC by means of PI 7.1. For that I received List of XSD's with B2MML Strucutures. on ECC side we are going for control reciepe for Process Order. and IDOC for Material Master.
ISSUE::
Even though as per my knowledge we cannot import successfully those b2mml xsd's into PI successfully I tried Since I received XSD's at MES appliction side I tried to import those XSD's into PI External Defnition
I tried actually importing Materialdefinition xsd but I got an error instead of fields for each and every field I am getting that
<b> Material Definition and as a type as APLLICATION error instead of xsd:: string or something else.
Can any one help me out regarding this and how to import those structures succesfully and also let me know or provide the links if you are having XI scenarios for MES and ECC integration
Note::</b> I already gone through few B2mml links but i didn;t found any ans in those.

Thanks for your immediate reponse but these are not the right one because I zip file which I received from the client contains nearly lots of XSD's but which when I am imporing into PI I getting in this form
I am getting for field names Instead of Field Names as MAterial Definition and type as Applciation some thing..
Pelase let me know whether I need to change my XSD or not ? If yes How to change ? or else plse gudie me in a right way ?

Idoc Import phrase - error message link to language

Hi all,
I configured an ALE betwenn 2 SAP systems.
I received some idocs in oder to import phrase in the target system.
When I proccess the idoc i have the following error message: "Cannot create phrase text in source language" and the second one is "Phrase language 5 does not exist in Customizing".
Anybody can help me please?

yes, some languages are not present in the target system regarging source target.
The problem is that the source system is unicode and the target is no unicode system and i am not able to add language in the target system.
I will try to apply filter in the source system.

Problem IDOC import from Intergration Builder

Hi all,
Please help me with the following problem:
In the Integration Builder (IB) I want to import an IDOC from a SAP R/3 4.6C system.
I've added software component SAP APPL 4.6c to the repository in the IB and changed setting so it is permitted to import RFC and IDOC interfaces.
On the screen 'Connection data for import from a SAP system' I find a group attribute implying load balancing. But we don't have load balancing in our environment.
When I populate the field with a dummy value and start import RFC/IDOC for the component a wizard appears with the tab 'Load Balanced' activated and with tab 'Direct' deactivated.
I think I should use direct connection but I'm not sure how to configure this for the software component.
Please help me!

Hi Harald,
Are you using XI2.0 or XI3.0?
It is not necessary to add a software component. What you should do is under your own software component version, enter the host name in message server, and leave the group field blank. When you actually do the import, you will see that you need to enter "application server" information to overwrite the message server info (XI3 only).
