Hi All,
Can anybody give me the step by step procedure to display the selected button in radiobuttongroupbykey ui element.

hi
create a uielement radiobuttongroupbykey
create a context node with 1 attribute. the data element used for defining the attribute must have some fix values in domain.
bind the UIelement with this attribute.
All the fix value of domain will be available as possible radio button.
In case of dropdown by index, u need to fill the contaxt node with possible values by yourself.

Unable to set state to 'required' for RadioButtonGroupByKey UI element

Hi all,
I'm using RadioButtonGroupByKey UI element that is bounded to a simple type.
Simple type looks like this:
0 -- Sunday
1 -- Monday
2 -- ...
The selectedKey property is bounded to the simple type.
The state property is set to 'required'
Although I'm using a radio button I don't want to set default selection.
I cannot set label for RadioButtonGroupByKey (unlike inputField).
I'm expecting to see a red asterisk near the radio button but I don't.
What else do I need to set in order to see the red asterisk?
I'm using 7.00.14

Nonsystem Session Variables :-
The procedure for defining nonsystem session variables is the same as for system session variables.
A common use for nonsystem session variables is setting user filters. For example, we could define a nonsystem variable called SalesRegion that would be initialized to the name of the user’s sales region.
We could then set a security filter for all members of a group that would allow them to view only data pertinent to their region.
2. difference between dynamic repository variables and non-system session variables?
Dynamic Repository Variables:-
We initialize dynamic repository variables in the same way as static variables, but the values are refreshed by data returned from queries. When defining a dynamic repository variable, we will create an initialization block or use a pre-existing one that contains a SQL query. We will also set up a schedule that the Oracle BI Server will follow to execute the query and periodically refresh the value of the variable.
Note: When the value of a dynamic repository variable changes, all cache entries associated with a business model that reference the value of that variable will be purged automatically. Each query can refresh several variables—one variable for each column in the query. We schedule these queries to be executed by the Oracle BI Server.

Reg Analytics UI element

Hi,
Im using Analytics ui element to achieve drill down functionality. Is it possible to provide drill down functionality in Webdynpro java using Analytics UI element? Im intrigued by certain properties - animateBy, animation etc for this UI element. I tried changing the values for these properties,but found no effect on the chart.
Im using SAP NW CE 7.2 - any pointers would be helpful.

How do I reg. a photoshop elements 12, it say it is already reg, it was from myself, my searial no. is [removed by host], I have a new computer now when this problem was shown.

You need not re-register the program. You need to activate the program. If you get a message telling you there are too many activations, it should give you the method to contact adobe to cure the problem. You can get help with your activation problem here:

Tooltip for RadioButtonGroupByKey

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to set different tooltip for a RadioButtonGroupByKey UI element. I create the Simple Values for the an attribute and bind this to the RadioButtonGroupByKey.
As each UI element has one setTooltip() method, how can we set different tooltip for each radio button in the RadioButtonGroupByKey UI element.

Thanx for the answer, actually I was looking for someone to confirm it
Partially Saravanan is correct as I can modify the tooltip on each selection of the radiobutton but this will not solve the problem as for all the radiobuttons I will see the same tooltip.

Hi,
if the attribute is of simple type.
then if you want to select second radio button ie male.
then in simple type see what is the enumeration value and enumeration text for the male.
then do the following to select the male.
wdContext.currentContextElement().set<Attribute bind to the radio buttons group>("enumeration value for male");
if example m is enumeration value and male is enumeration text then
wdContext.currentContextElement().set<Attribute bind to the radio buttons group>("m");

How to show an image in an Enumeration description

Recently I have tried to show an image instead of a text description, when I use a RadioButtonGroupByKey UI Element.
What I need is to show some sort of a semaphore which can be set by a processing user. Is it possible to achieve this, or do I have to play around with the layout?

PsElements10 - Brush Options, Hue Jitter

I lately installed PSElements 10 (on Windows 7), and i'm observing something i don't understand with the brushes Hue Jitter Option.
The official definition for Brush Option - Hue Jitter is :
"Sets the rate at which the stroke color switches between the foreground and background colors. Higher values cause more frequent switches between the two colors than lower values."
And that's usually how it works.
Example => basic brush, foreground color : red; background color: green; when hue jitter is at 0, the drawed line is red; when Hue Jitter is >0, the drawed line switches from red to green. No problem.
But then, i choose a special Brush (the Butterflies, for an example) => The appear in many different colors (not only red and green)
That's a special Brush (and the Hue Jitter isn't doing anything with this Brush), well ok.
And finally, i switch back to the basic Brush, and now the "Many different Colors" from the butterflies seem to be inherited by this basic brush, no way to make the Hue Jitter Option work again between foreground and background color.
Is this a bug ?

Elements can be buggy from time to time as far as the brush settings go because those brushes were probably made in the full photoshop version, which has more options for varying the colors of a brush (color dynamics).
In later versions of elements that is the wrong name for that option (hue jitter). It's actually color jitter as it's properly named in photoshop elements 2.
In photoshop elements if you have the Keep these settings for all Brushes checked, then the options from one brush will carry on to the next.
(If your using a tablet things may act strange from brush to brush if you have some of the dynamic settings enabled in Brush Tablet Options)
Also sometimes the settings get "stuck" so you may have to reset the Brush Tool, which is probably what's happening in your case.

I have a new computer am trying to install photoshop elements 5.0 on the new machine need reg-id

how cab I find my registration id... I have the cd and the booklet, but not the original case... is it viewable in the old machine?

I don't have proof of purchase.. all I kept was the two cd's and the instruction book.I bought it in June of 2008, and don't think I have bank records that far back.I was hoping I could get the information from my installed copy.. there a long number on the bottom rightwhen I open it, but that didn't work and a number etched on the back of the cd... but it too didn't work....

It is not viewable on your old computer. We may be able to get you a replacement serial number. Do you still have your proof of purchase for Photoshop Elements 5?

Reg creation of MRP element

Dear all,
Where can we create MRP elements for ex BH for process order, we can check in MD04 but i want to know where they are created

Venkat,
If you are talking about creating a new type of MRP element, this generally cannot be done. I believe the only way implement a new element would be to modify all existing programs that manage this field.
I have never heard of 'BH' for process order, the standard MRP element for Process order has already been assigned to 'BR'.
There is a configuration where you are permitted to assign different text elements (human-readable names) to existing MRP elements OMD5.

Reg: Container elements

Hi,
I'm doing a bpm scenario where i recieve a file using receive step then use a switch to check if a condition satisifies based on that I'm sending to File using send step and in other block using Mail.
Im getting error as container elements not intialized when did syntax check in bpm and also for receive step it says container element intialized but not used,,,
please tell me what needs to be done

When I am trying to create PR/PO the following error is appearing
In document item 010 WBS element 026140008316, budget for WBS element
0261400083 for fiscal year 2009 was exceeded by 87,070.95 EGP.

this is a budget availability control error.
go to CJ30 and increase the budget of that perticular WBS by said amount if your business allows the same.
