Hi Kelvin,
I am able to connect through LDAP browser.
I am able to do provisioning also.
I followed the following steps to do recon
1. i imported iPlanetXLResourceObject.xml using Depolyment manager.
2.In Task scheduler, stop execution and disable check boxes are not checked ,XLDeleteUsersAllowed is set to true, user container is set to one of the LDAP branch,
Trusted source to true, rest of the values are default values.
3.In ITResorce, in the Recon Attribute Lookup Code is set to AttrName.Recon.Map
I scheduled a recon task and deleted a user in LDAP.
I am getting the above said error,should i set any other values other than these.
Kindly suggest me the approach,
Thanks,
divya

  • Bulk provisioning to LDAP using sun connector

    Hi guys,
    I am able to provision only single OIM user at time to LDAP directory using sun connector.
    Could any one please suggest me the approach of how to provision multiple users at a time.
    divya

    What Octavian has said is right have 2 it resources and then have a ItResourceLookup Field in your process form. You can either have it to default to any one of the ItResource (OID server) or you can allow the admin to select this during direct provisioning. Depends on how you are doing provisioning i.e. direct or request based or policy based.

  • Trusted recon using DBUM connector

    Hi,
    We need to do trusted reconciliation from OIM 11gr1 to OIM 11gr2. This is not a one time process. Which connector is feasible for that?, Oracle DBUM connector or GTC connector for database application tables
    Thanks

    Both DBUM and Application Table(GTC) are fine . I suggest go with DBUM. It require less effort to configure and have a sql query to edit at any point of time.

  • Target Recon using ICF flatfile connector in OIM 11gR2

    Hi,
    we developed a flatfile recon using Oracle Assets (where there was a predeveloped oracle flatfile connecter using ICF) and deployed the Flatfile connector on java connector server using ICF. for test purposes, We took a user created already in OIM and enter the same user details in flatfile and ran a recon operation. We created a scheduled job and ran the job successfully. When we check the recon events, it shows a user creation successful in the events. When we went and checked the user profile, the flatfile resource is not reflected in the User Accounts Tab.
    Can anyone please let me know how we can ensure that the flatfile resource is reflected in the Accounts provisioned section?
    Thanks

    Have you created Application instance for this resource in OIM.
    You have to create Application Instance -> Login to Sysadmin url->Create sandbox->click on Application Instance-> create-> select resource object and itresource->save it-> now click on create form-> save it -> referesh dropdown and select the form now save the appinstance.->publish sandbox
    Run scheduled task "Catalog sync" similar to that. So, Appinstance will be available to catalog for provisioning.
    Now you can run the target recon. your account will be available under User->accouts tab.

  • Problem with using GTC connector

    Hi All,
    we are using data base table connector for the trusted recon from oracle database to oim. I have an entity adapter which i attached to the pre-insert updates the Organization depends on the attribute. This is working fine when i do the first time recon , the organization is updating properly. But if i updates any field in the database and reconcile, the Organization is updating as Xellerate Users.The old value is wiped out.
    How can i solve this problem.
    Is this solved by using attaching the adapter to the post-update also.
    Thanks,
    KK

    Are you using GTC connector for this ?
    I think you connector is brining Organization as Xellerate Users but at pre insert you are updating it with your org name.
    But on updating you haven't put your entity adapter i.e. on Pre Update that's why it is updating org as Xellerate Users. Put your adapter on pre update too.

  • JMS : Using SUN MQUEUE as a JMS Provider

    Hi guys,
    I'm having quite some trouble in configuring a JMS scenario...
    I'm using SUN MQueue as a JMS Provider. I've installed the respective drivers, imq.jar, fscontext.jar and jms.jar.
    I had no trouble in deploying this drivers on the SDM.
    Now, after creating a receiver JMS communication channel, I get the following error on the RWB:
    Error during channel initialization; exception trace: java.lang.NoSuchMethodException: com.sun.messaging.QueueConnectionFactory.(java.lang.String)
    at java.lang.Class.getConstructor0(Class.java:1937)
    at java.lang.Class.getConstructor(Class.java:1027)
    at com.sap.aii.af.service.jms.WorkerJMSSender.init(WorkerJMSSender.java:474)
    I've searched XI logs, in order of getting some light on the subject...This was what I've got:
    #com.sap.aii.af.service.jms.WorkerJMSSender.init(WorkerHandler moduleHandler, Object para)#J2EE_GUEST#0####975a11b0c58b11dbce6700145e1855ec#SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_19##0#0#Error##Java###Unable to create the QueueConnectionFactory due to #1#SUNMQUEUE_IP:SUNMQUEUE_Port#
    My question is what is #1#....
    I've read a few forum threads, but none of them can clarify my error....
    I've tried the same scenario using Business Connector...Of course, in BC I had to create 2 JAVA services, one for sending and another for receiving messages...there was no problem with this, I did managed to send JMS Messages to SUN MQUEUE...
    Can anyone give a hint....anything...?

    Hi,
    This is something related to JMS Adapter configuration settings and security ...
    please check .. all your settings..
    <i>This is the SonicMQ implementation of the QueueConnectionFactory.
    A JMS client, in this case the adapter, uses a QueueConnectionFactory object to generate QueueConnection objects of a JMS provider.
    The default value for SonicMQ 3.0 is progress.message.jclient.QueueConnectionFactory</i>

    Andrew -
    In the past there have been problems with the Deploytool from Sun as relates to Orion. I don't know if those problems have been worked out, but none-the-less I gave up on that a year or so ago. I use ant to create my ear files in practice but am currently evaluating the JDeveloper beta and thus far am reasonably impressed with the ease of use. I would give that a try if you have the bandiwdth to download it. Investigate Ant for another alternative - though you have to create your own web.xml and ejb-jar.xml files (as well as the application*.xml files). Sometimes I use the sucky tools that come with Orion (OCJ4) to help out as far as creating the related XML files and to create the ear file. Depends on my level of tolerance that particular day.

  • JPDA 1.5 Sun Connectors

    Hello,
    I'm trying to use the connectors described in http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/guide/jpda/conninv.html
    Namly I'd like to try these connectors:
    SA Core Attaching Connector: sun.jvm.hotspot.jdi.SACoreAttachingConnector
    SA PID Attaching Connector: sun.jvm.hotspot.jdi.SAPIDAttachingConnector
    SA Debug Server Attaching Connector: sun.jvm.hotspot.jdi.SADebugServerAttachingConnector
    But don't see them returned as available connectors. Do I need a supplemental library or anything else? I'm using SunOS 5.9 with the jre and jdk posted as of 9/13/2005.
    Thanks

    Everything is in jdk5.0. You can check which JDI Connectors are available by doing this:
    jdb -listconnectorsYou should see 3 Connectors name sun.jvm.hotspot..jdi.SA<something>. To test that you can use them just start an application and get its pid. Then try:
    jdb -connect sun.jvm.hotspot.jdi.SAPIDAttachingConnector:pid=<pid>Hope this helps.

  • Using Business Connector to convert a file to XML

    Hi, I have been asked to see if a flat file created by an abap program can be converted to XML format using Business Connector (4.7). I have looked in the tutorial and the pdf documents but can not see how this is done. Please could someone give me some advice?
    - Is this possible using built-in Business Connector services - or is it more complicated?
    - Should I even bother to try to do this when it it easy for me to create an XML format file from ABAP?
    - Is there a good course, book, documentation that would help me?
    Thanks, Andy

    Hi Andy!
    Our customers have this requirement to convert some "flat-file" into some XML format via Business Connector quite often. The best way (as the last post sugessted) is indeed to use the "EDI-Adapter" which is free of charge (service.sap.com/connectors).
    With that module you can convert all flat-files (delimiter based, offset based, mixed, even classical EDI formats, ...) based on some definition ( = template). Be careful the EDI-Adapter Module download page states that it is supported for BC version 4.6 . However it is absolutely no problem to use it in BC 4.7 versions as well. Remember that you will NOT get any official support by SAP when using the EDI-Adapter module.
    Simply import the EDI-Module as general BC package (server/replicate/inbound directory).
    Generally it is very powerful, stable and well documented ...
    Best regards, Andy

  • Help!! How to install and use Sun ONE Directory Server Resource Kit 5.2

    Hi ! Friend:
    I have some problem on install and use Sun ONE Directory Server Resource Kit 5.2, when I execute "java DSRK", afterwards something like this : com.iplanet.install.until.wbResource::gerstring:resource bundle"locale.resources.S1DSRKResource" not found appeared in the window ,that's why?
    Meanwhile ,can you give some data about it on how to use it ?
    Thank you !

    You should be aware of the following characteristics of your directory when using this tool:
    Size and number of entries.
    Directory structure and access permissions.
    Virtual attributes, class of service, and indexing.
    Usage, types of access, and access patterns.
    Post your error messages completely.
    Thanks

  • How to use Sun's HttpsURLConnection in 6.0

              I have a servlet, which opens a connection to a https site. I
              was able to solve this problem in version 5.1 by adding the
              following in weblogic.policy
              permission
              javva.security.AllPermission "java.protocol.handler.pkgs", "read"
              ;, and setting weblogic.security.ssl.enable=false in the
              properties file. I tried the same in version 6.0, but it doesn't
              seem to work.
              Does anyone have any suggestions?
              Thanks.

    From example:
              test.jsp:
              <%@ page import="java.io.*" %>
              <%@ page import="java.net.*" %>
              <%
              java.security.Security.addProvider(new com.sun.net.ssl.internal.ssl.Provider());
              URL etrade = new URL(null,
              "https://trading.etrade.com/cgi-bin/gx.cgi/AppLogic+Loginpage",
              new com.sun.net.ssl.internal.www.protocol.https.Handler());
              BufferedReader br = new BufferedReader(new InputStreamReader(etrade.openStream()));
              String line;
              while((line = br.readLine()) != null) {
              out.println(line);
              br.close();
              %>

  • Trouble with mapping CMR field using Sun One Studio

    I am having trouble adding a cmr between 2 entity beans. It is a simple one to one relationship, navigatable in only one direction. In the database I have a foreign key defined between the two tables that store the data for the beans.
    I add the relation by selecting the 2 beans and define it as one directional, one to one , with the name "bb". I then map the relationship field via the properties/As Sun One tab. I use the foreign key defined in the database. All seems to be well.
    Using Sun One AppServer 7 and Studio 4
    Upon deploying the application I receive:
    CMP Mapping Error in bean Sites:: Warning: The field bb is not mapped.
    Set the column mapping for the field.

    The CMR/CMP mappings is very instable.
    Sunone Studio 5 has a lot of bugs when mapping CMP/CMR but i never saw this one, try to upgrade.
    Please vote for this bug. It's killing me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
