Reg : Script spool file downloading into xl-file

Dear friends,
I need to find the script spool no as well as the same script spool
to be download into xl-file.
Could u please give me guidelines, how to do that.

My requirements is like below,
I am calling the script from report, In report i have a check box for excel download,
If the user selected the option check box download into excel file than i need to indentify the spool number as well as download the script spool file into excel file.

Spool SQl data into text file using dynamic sql

Hi,
I am spooling output data into text file using command
select 'select t.mxname,bo.lxtype,t.mxrev'||chr(10)||'from mx_1234567'||chr(10)||
'where <condition>';
here mxname varchar(128),lxtype(128),mxrev(128) all are of varchar type.I want the output in format
e.g Part|1211121313|A
but due to column width the output,I am getting is with spaces.
"Part then blank spaces |1211121313 then blank spaces |A"
how can I remove these spaces between columns.I used set space 0 but not working.

I am facing similar kind of issue in my present project.
I am trying spool more than 50 columns from a table into flat file. Because of more column lengths in few columns, i am getting space. There are so many columns with the same issue. I want to remove that space.so that, data can fit perfectly in one line in .txt file without any wrap text.

I have hundreds of old MPEGs stored in my nexternal drive, but unfortunatly i was not able import them into iMovie. I did the following trick: I created a new set of a folder and subfolder and called it "Virtual_CAM/DCIM" and saved it on my desktop. Then went to Disk Utilities>File Menue>New>Disk Image from Folder. Then selected the folder on my desktop and clicked enter. I moved the .dmg file to my external (or just keep it on your desktop). I clicked on the .dmg file. It shoud be visible on the Finder. Open your Imovie and import as you do from your camera.

FireFox 4 and earlier versions will not install on my Windows Vista, 64 bit computer. The file downloads and the file extracts but I never make it to the installation wizard.

I have tried to download FireFox 4 and earlier versions from several different website, thinking the files might have gotten corrupted, and each time I download the file the exact same thing happens, the file downloads and the file gets extracted but when the extraction completes the small window dissappears and nothing else happens.
My machine is a Windows Vista 64 bit system and I've tried downloading the file with my 32 and 64 bit Internet Explorer but nothing seems to work. Can someone help me please because I would love to be able to completely delete I.E.

Hi, thanks for your Flash file info. Well you must have been doing it right, since all of your Flash files for IE and FF are correct.
The SWF plugin for FF and the SWO for IE are also correct.
You shouldn't be having any problems with Flash Player.
What you can try is to turn off the hardware acceleration feature. Go to any video, like youtube and right click on the video and click on Settings. Display Settings is where you will UN check hardware acceleration.
See if that helps. Let me know.

What is the best way to merge a file content into log file

What is the best way to merge a file content into log file.
In worst case, I will read the file line by line as string, then use
logger.info(lineString)to output to log file.
However, is there better way to do this?
The eventual log file will be something like:

Yes, I have to do it beacuse the requirement is to have that file content be part of logging.

Payment Order (multiple) Idocs need to be downloaded into single file

Hello Gurus,
I am able to generate Idocs for Automatic Payment Run in F110 for message type PAYEXT with PEXR2002 idoc type. However, what I found is the system generates one idoc per vendor for a single payment method. So, for example if I run APP for 50 vendors at a time, 50 different idocs are generated and placed in AL11. Currently the requirement is to download the idocs into flat file and upload it in Bank's website. I would like to know is there any way to download all the 50 idocs into a single file (ie a single file containing payment run information for all vendors).
PS: I use CG3Y Tcode to dowload Idoc from AL11 mentioning the directory path but this can allow me to download only one file at a time.
Any Info regarding this would be appreciated.

Heading during downloading into local file using GUI_DOWNLOAD fun.module

we have a requirement that we want the plant description as a heading (first line of the file) in the local file. iam using "GUI_DOWNLOAD" function module for downloading data for which iam passing the charecter type internal table. before downloading iam passing all the filed headings to that table and then appending the internal table data into it. now iam getting data properly with field headings . but before that heading i want one more description for a plant field which iam using in my selection screen
in the fun.module "GUI_DOWNLAOD"
we have HEADER file but it is of XSTRING type so it is taking only 2 char.
so how to use this . Plz help me.

when im create payment transaction in f110 tcode in fi , and selct the record and down load into flat file
in flat file first line it shows run date same as we given in transaction,but in second line it shows same date as before
but it shows different date example : firstline it shows 12 .10.2008 and second line 12.10.2008 is right o/p.
         but it shows as first line 12.10.2008,and seconde line 6.10.2008. why it show like that.

As per my understanding you have an issue with the date while downloading it into the Flat file.
It is displaying the incorrect date in the second line in Flat file.
Are you downloading the data in Notepad or in the Excel sheet?
Can you please elaborate the issue, if it is in Excel sheet then check if it is displaying multiple records for the same date.
Ex :

DO NOT use the suggested function modules mentioned here, they are not unicode enabled.
If you have to choose another download funtion use the methods in class cl_gui_frontend_servives.

You can download into XML format. However, it's not sure about uploading. Refer to the program 'SF_XSF_DEMO'.
In 4.7 Enterprise, other have seen this utlity which is completey missing in 4.6c. There is functionality to downlaod a complete form or only a particular node. (Utilities -> Download form). It will create a XML file and save it in the hard disk.
Feel free to revert back.

first of all: WELCOME TO THE DISCUSSIONS!
Sometimes files lose connection to their application. This can be solved quite easily though:
1. Download Cocktail, OnyX or Tiger Cache Cleaner and reset the "Launch Services Database".
2. Click any .dmg and type Apple-i to get the Information window. In the pop-up called "Open With" select "Other" and navigate to /System/Library/CoreServices. There select DiskImageMounter as default application. Finally back in the Information window click "Change All".

Recently upgraded to version 3.6.3 and since then when I try to download .JS files they actually download as .TXT files. I can download word files without a problem. I'm downloading scripts from my internet hosted database. In previous versions of FF I didn't have a problem. Is there a setting that I need to change or plugin I need?

Word files downloaded as window files

Hi everybody.
Here's my problem: starting from yesterday, when I download a word file from my mail, or from iDisk, it turns into a word for window file, and if I try and open it, it prompts parallel to open first.
I've been using a Mac for ages and nothing like this ever happened.
Neither did I do any change in my settings: the only new thing is that I downloaded some software updates for Mac OS X and Safari. Since they are entirely legal (downloaded from Apple site) I can't believe they can cause any problems: yet, I see no other reason for this problem.
Can anybody help?

Actually, yet, my problem is a bit different than what is regarded at in the links you posted.
The problem is that the downloaded files (which were positively saved as word files) cannot be opened in Mac OS X - as usual - but only in Windows (after downloading they look like Word Pad files).
I've tried to open them in Mac OS X, but the system didn't recognize them, so I couldn't.
So, I guess the problem has something to do with the downloading phase, and not with the file opening phase (sorry, my knowledge of computers is quite poor).
I've also tried to spot another forum (within Apple support) where I could ask for help, but I couldn't find one.
