hi experts,
i need to make some changes in the appraisal templates whose appraisal documents has already been made
but when i go make changes in the system with the help of TC -OOAM the system giving me message that "changes no longer possible in the templates as appraisal documents already been made" ,what i want to know is there any alternative solution that without deleting appraisal documents i will be able to make changes in the appraisal templates.
plz help me.

no, you have to delete all the documents if you want to unrelease the template.
You can take a copy of the first template or write a migration report, but that's all custom development.
You have to be sure that the template is finished 100 procent before you start using it

How to apply a Character Style that's already been made in a template document?

First of all I'd like to thank everyone that helps. I'm a complete beginner at scripting and appreciate all your help.
I'm basically using GREP expressions to find patterns in a document and apply a Character Style which has already been made. This Character style was not made using script, but just in InDesign when making and setting up the template.

This is how I currently have it. I will manually define the changes to the text. The problem is, each template uses a different set of fonts and not all of them use Bold e.g. Sabon can use CE Bold.
I would like to learn how to apply a Character Style and have tried looking around but nothing seems to work.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Mounting a RAID 0 array that's already been made (OS X RAID - Arch)

Hey, I'm trying to access my two-disk RAID 0 array that I've been using in OS X (within the same desktop computer). I've been reading the arch wiki about RAID, but it seems many of the recommended steps may erase all data on my array. Would jumping to building the array (https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/RA … _the_Array) work for solving this problem? And how would I know what specific settings to use?
If it would just be easier to make an array from Arch that is also compatible with OS X, that would be an option as well.

Agree with syar - It's not just a matter of the RAID either - the chances of being able to boot into Windows with or without RAID is slim on a different mobo as the OS uses a load of device drivers and other stuff specific to your particular installation.

If the form was created in Acrobat and you have Acrobat, you should be able to edit the fields by selecting: Tools > Forms > Edit
This is for Acrobat 11. If the PDF has security restrictions that prevent editing or was created with LiveCycle Designer, you won't be able to edit it in Acrobat. If security was applied, you'll need to know the password in order to remove it to allow editing.

Flexible Appraisal template screen changes

Hi There,
We are using Standard Flexible appraisal template based appraisal Solution EHP4. Now we have created a template to cater multi level details for each Objective.
Structure looks like
Objetive 1 Add/Delete
   Objective details 1.1    Add/Delete
         Objective details 1.1.1    Add/Delete
               Objective details 1.1.1.1    Add/Delete
Objetive 2 Add/Delete
   Objective details 2.1    Add/Delete
         Objective details 2.1.1    Add/Delete
               Objective details 2.1.1.1    Add/Delete
For each of this level we will be able to create multiple entry.. i.e it can have
1.2.1
2.3.1.2 entries as well
Now we want to group these entries in group/so that we can enable one collapse/expand option for one objective and all its related components. I mean, we should be able to have a header_tray for objective 1 and ojective 2.. and so on.. so that when we close/open all objectives related to Objective 1, are open or collapse from single header tray.
I know we can use pre exit of wdmodify method for view VW_BODY_VIEW , but i am unable to conceptualize how do we create this group dynamically specially when each row is rendered one by one. and apart from numbering there is no other binding to structure related rows.

Regarding the third one, client requirment is that Criterion groups should come in tabs and the elements like objectives, KPI etc should come columnwise.The notes feild should be below the Goal etc.
have a glimpse of the UI that we are preferring to have. this is EHP6 Flexible appraisal template and we are trying to get a better look for our flexible appraisal template which is on EHP4.

PD - retrict the level of the positon for appraisal template

We are working on appraisal template. in appraisal template when the manager selects the PHAP_PREPARE TC and esxutes it takes to the template selection.
in the appraisal template the manager should be able to see only the employee till the exective level. but not all the employee...
Please let me know how to restrict this template view only til the exectuve level for the manager

Import invoices that have already been paid.

Hi.
I am trying to importing invoices through the Oracle Payables Open Interface that have already been paid. I understand that it is not possible to import invoices this way and have them marked as paid.
Can anyone help me figure this out? I just need a push in the right direction because i am new to Oracle.
Someone has suggested to me to run a payment batch for these invoices and make sure that the payment for these is stopped. Does anyone know how to do that programatically? I also want to mark each of these invoices with the Check Number it was paid with. I have this information in an another database and i need to get it into Oracle. Any ideas on how to do that?

Hi. I am presuming that the flow on to the General Ledger and Bank reconciliation would work as it works with other payments that are made by the system. My hope that is far as Oracle is concerned is that these invoices were created in Oracle and Paid in oracle. General Ledger and Bank reconciliation would all work as is.
I really just need to know where i should start looking to try and accomplish importing these payments. It appears i can do what i want with the invoices through the Open Payables Interface and writing to these two tables - AP_INVOICES_INTERFACE and AP_INVOICES_LINES_INTERFACE.
However, how can i import the payments that have already been made for those invoices.
- Is there a programming API to accomplish this. Some kind of java library that calls some Oracle stored procedures or something.
- Should i be looking at the Oracle XML Gateway, BPEL or anything like that?
- Can i write to a set of tables or call any specifc Stored procedures directly.

Regarding Appraisal Template Weighted result

Hi Experts,
In the current appraisal template the weighted result is coming as weighted value = (final appraisal) * (Weighting).
weighted value = (final appraisal) * (Weighting).
Weighted Result (=FWGT * FAPP)
Instead of this my client wants it to be
weighted value = ((final appraisal * Weighting)/100 ).
Weighted Result =(FWGT * FAPP)/100)
I have not worked in badis so i need ur help to complete this requirement.
I went through the forum but i am unable to complete..

Regarding addition of new column in existing appraisal templates

i m working on the existing appraisal templates in which i have to add one more column named "Avereage Rating"
       in which the average of "MID YEAR ACHIEVEMENT COLUMN TOTAL VALUE" & "FINAL APPRAISAL RATING COLUMN TOTAL VALUE"
       for eg:"(3.5+4.0)/2 = 3.75" i.e the value 3.75 will come in the average rating column,plz help me to sort out
       this column,for this,no doubt i have added the column for this but for the value "3.75" what "value list",

Change the Appraisal Template in Mid of Year.

We want to edit the appraisal template which is being used in Production.
System is allowing to edit the template in development as there are no documents created. Once we transport the change to production what will be the implication.
Q1. Is it recommended to change the template after it is being used.
Q2. If really need to edit the template in mid of appraisal process how do we go forward.

We are on ECC 6.0 and SP 43.
We need to put some extra fields / Notes to the targets and extra sub statuses to correctly identify the condition.
But already appraisal process started and documents are created. Now we cannot either create the same documents in new template or postpone the appraisal template change to next year.
In this situation we decided to change the existing template. We want to know what will be the implications if we change the template in development and transport it to production???
Download and upload will create a new template which will not be useful for our case.

How to unreleased Appraisal templates which are alreay being in used

Hi Experts,
I am looking for the solution how to unreleased appraisal templates which are already released and also used by the Employees for their PDD process.
We are facing one problem in PDD templates, so we want to make some changes in already released templates.
Is there any way or solution by any Functional method/settings or by ABAP program?
Please reply as it is very critical and important for us to solve ASAP.

Now that might work (actually it will work). But you need to be 100% sure that your changes will not infleunce the appraisal process. Because it is not that hard to cause unrepairable data inconsistencies on already existing appraisal documents!!
There is a very good reason for not being able to unrelease templates once they are in use!
One is that you can create incorrect appraisal documents from a business point of view.
Say your document end appraisal is a 1-10 scale, one being the worst. The appraisal gets a 3 as final score, meaning in this scale quite bad. Now you unrelease the template and change the used scale to a 1-4 scale. Your very bad employee turns all of a sudden in a quite good employee!
Even worse, <b>you can create database inconsistencies on document level</b>. Just remove elements or columns from the template and you will get very strange results after releasing again.
I don't recommend changing templates once documents are based on them but if you use this option then be carefull!

Appraisal Template ID in which table

Hi Friends-
In this standard report RHXHAP_APP_DOC_PREPARE_ORG one field Appraisal Template is ther where it shows 8 digit ID number ,
Now my i have two querys
1) In which table i can see this Template ID number as later i have to relat it to fetch other data (its there in hrp1000 with OType VA ) but that is not useful for me.
2) on this statndard screen i have to add Employee number ( pernr ) too and based on that too i have to create appraisal document ( can any one tell me any simple process for this )
Any input will be big help for me

Copying prog is making this req more complex and then i have to add Personal number , sub area etc too in selection screen.
So am looking any standards FM which can take personal number and Template id as input and create apprisal id for that employee.
