Regarding LT and multiple LTS

Hi Experts,
What is the difference between logical table and logical table source in BMM layer in which scenarios we have to add multiple LTS to the logical table in BMM layer can any one make me clear regarding this.

Hi rafi.
LTS - Means Logical table Source.
For each Logical table created in BMM Layer, there will be 1 or more Source tables coming from Physical Layer.
Many of the cases there will be 1 physical table for 1 logical table in BMM layer. But there will be a scenario where you will have to recieve the date from different physical table ( that is diiferent department will provide different physical table).
In this scenario you will be having 2 physical source table ( Multiple Logical table ) in your BMM layer.
Simailarly M LTS can be used for many other perposes. ex to eleiminate snowflake etc etc.

Hello, I have iMac from Oct, 2010 and have OS 10.6.7 and multiple users. Mail icon was accidently removed along with program. Mail 4.4 is on other users but when I reloaded software my user got Mail 4.3. Mail 4.3 did not work with latest OS. Ideas?Matt

Hello, I have iMac Itel i3, from Oct, 2010 and have OS 10.6.7 and multiple users.
About 3-4 days ago the Mail icon in dock had question mark and was accidently removed, along with program on my user. Oops.
1. Mail 4.4 is on other users and works fine, but for me it does not work and tells me V4.3 does not work with latest OS X.
2. I reloaded software from my user with original disks (Oct, 2010) and got Mail 4.3 again. Mail 4.3 did not work with latest OS. I am unable to load Mail. Gives Yellow error message.
" You have Mail version 4.3 (1081/1084). It can’t be used on Mac OS X Version 10.6.7 (Build 10J869). For more information, click the Help button."
3. Tried to update software and look for update for mail 4.3 on Apple site to no success.
Hate to go to MS-Entorage ( I may need to learn something new and alien) mail program since contracts are in Mail/Address Book.
Ideas?

Mail Adapter - Multiple mail ID and multiple mail servers config.

Hi All
I am doing BPM synch scenario in which i get the response from SAP box and send the response via email adapter. I am using mail.xsd and doing mail config. in message mapping. However in the TO field i am able to give only one email ID. If i give multiple email ID's mail is not received. I tried comma and semi-colon as separator. Still not working? I have two questions in configuring TO option:
1) How to send to multiple id's? I am using Lotus Notes.
2)How to send to multiple mail servers? I have to send to Lotus Notes id's and outlook express id's also simultaneously.

Please find here with some observations about it,
1) How to send to multiple id's? I am using Lotus Notes.
If you have specified an IMAP server under URL, the message is saved in the specified folder but is not sent to the receiver specified under To.
Then even if Under To, you had specified the e-mail address that will receive the message would be separated with a semicolon. It will not work.
Please verify about it .

My database is 11gR1 and Linux is the platform.
I have more then 50 very important tables and around 15 database users.
I want to implement fine grained auditing on these important tables.
This is how I am going to implement it:

object_schema - The schema of the object to be audited. (If NULL, the current log-on user schema is assumed.)
in case if you like to audit for multiple users - then try to test by holding a null value and test access the important tables -where the relevant auditing records are generated as per your requirement or not. i have not tested.. try it

Using Multiple LTS in BMM Layer - OBIEE 10g

Hi,
I have 3 tables heirarchies as follows, Project Detail --> Activity Detail --> Sub-Activity Detail. Sub-Activity being the lowest level. But the project also has some fact data, like the Total-Project-Cost, if I include that in my report, the query also joins Sub-Activity-Detail and as a result the Total-Project-Cost is summing up based on the number of rows in Sub-Activity-Detail. To eliminate this, I am planning on doing one more LTS, so when I choose Total-Project-Cost, it does not go to Activity or Sub-Activity. Here are my questions with this approach,
1. Is it possible in 10g?
2. Do I have to do multiple LTS in the fact as well as Dimension table?
3. Is there any other approach you would suggest?

you can build a level based measure for Total Project Cost and in aggregation tab chose the appropriate content level as defined in your hierarchy. Now this measure will sum up only for the level you have chosen. Go through these links for reference -

Planning for product using multiple bom and multiple recipe involving SOP

Hi friends,
The problem. Currently we have maintained single BOM and single recipe (The BOM and Recipe used for MRP) for long term planning run. The FMCG sector of Client requested to have multiple BOMs and multiple recipes in the long term planning run. I.e. The planning is done quarterly and they wanted to use different BOMs and Different recipes for each quarter. But since the existing system has configured to use a single BOM and a single recipe we have a problem to use the long term planning run with the current setups.The problem we have is in this 001 planning scenario.
appreciate if you can help me how to accommodate multiple BOMs and recepis in the long term planning run.

Invoice file comes in text file with multiple header and multiple lines like this

I need to post single Idoc with all the headers and lines
we are planning to use Custom Idoc,Is this possible by having the header segment as unbounded??

hi,
lets go again.
you have to edit the custom IDoc and change the ocurrance on the header segment. also modify the details segment adding an addtional field that identify which header that this detail belong.
for this case you cannot change the occurrance in SAP PI because you wont identify what i have told you before. in PI apply to change the occurrance if you could send ONE Idoc Per Header.
now is better clear???

Yes. Add the different receivers in Receiver determination. You can use conditions too here (XPath expression).

Yes again. You will have multiple Receiver determination pointing to the same receiver.

Can the WCL 4400 be set up to use multiple RADIUS servers? The user accounts for accessing wireless would use a RADIUS server. The administrative accounts for the WLC would reside on an ACS server.

Yes, that is correct. You can set acs to use both radius and tacacs.
For this you need to add WLC twice in acs-->network configuration. But you need to keep host name different.
eg 1) Host name WLC --->IP x.x.x.x -->Auth using -->radius
2) Host name WLC1--->IP x.x.x.x --->Auth using -->Tacacs.
You need to set up tacacs commands on WLC along with radius commands.

Central Purchase Org and Multiple co codes

Hello everyone,
We are working in SRM 5.0 classic deployment and PDP scenario. We have an issue. We have central purchase org and multiple co codes. So one purchase org will be responsible for all the co codes. In the backend system, pur org is not assigned to any co code since it is a central pur org. Now in SRM , we created a root org, under the root org we created different companies and at the same level i.e under root- purchase org is created and then purchsae groups. In attribute BUK of purchase org, all co codes are assigned. When we check BBP_ATTR_CHECK for this purchase org, we get an error- "company cannot be determined. So we'll not be able to shop. Please let me know if anyone has ever worked on this scenario and whatz the solution? Suitable points will be awarded for the useful answers. Thanks in advance.

I would not suggest this as an approach. First question is what kind of accounting reports do they need on plant level? Is it AR/AP items per plant or complete set of financial reports include BS and P&L statement.
WERKS field exists in BSEG, so I guess some report can be generated to represent open items on this level.
But if you need deeper division in the company on this level, then segments or business areas should be used.

Problem in loading multiple lev1 and multiple lev2 WBS elements in projects

Hi guys,
I've a requirement to load (from file) projects with multiple level 1 and multiple level 2 WBS elements. I'm using CJ01 recording to load projects in step 1 and it loads all the projects successfully.
Next I need to load WBS elements of level 1 & level 2 under each projects and also level 1 & level 2 must be linked correctly. Now in this step what I'm doing is that am doing the CJ02 recording to load WBS elements (irrespective of levels) under each projects. But as in the data file, the sequence of WBS records are not guarranteed to be in the exact sequence of hierarchy of WBS elements, what's happening is that though WBS elements are getting loaded successfully, but level 1 & 2 are not getting linked to each other correctly. So the hierarchy is broken. Please help how to resolve this issue like how to design the LSMW correctly.
Alternatively we can use CJ20N for loading the correct hierarchy but here we need to select correct project/level 1/leve2 etc which is difficult in case if a project doesn't have level 2 or level 1.
Please suggest the easiest design.

I think using CJ01 only you can upload all the projects with hierarchy.
Just arrange the file records accordingly;

Level 2----
WBSE 2.1
Level 2----

Interval selection and multiple single values in WAD Graphs

I am developing a Web Application Designer Graph by combining multiple reports. I have 0CALMONTH,Country as my variable selections. By default I am able to select only single values (January,Feb etc.) But I need to select intervals(From-To) for 0CALMONTH and Multiple Single values for 0COUNTRY .
I found the below link to use intervals by generating javascript

But the issue here is, I am not able to change 'From' value i.e. according to this document , Interval start is to be fixed in the script and I cannot change it later .But I want to change the interval start any time later. I am not sure how to achieve this using this option. Also I want to use mulitple single values variable for Country .
Kindly let me know if there is any other possible options or work-around available.

Thanks for your reply.I am using 7.0 Templates.Sorry to miss that part. I think I need to explain the issue little more . I am developing a Chart using Web Application Designer. My Chart should be having the Variable in the top of the page and I can able to see that variable . Even I am able to change the values after the execution. But this is working fine only for the Single values, for ex. I can change the selection from June to July in the Chart and I am getting the correct result in my chart based on the selection .
But the issue is ,I need to select Intervals for the month .Even though I created another variable with the option 'Interval' in the Query Designer , it is not showing the interval screen (From..To) ,instead still it is showing the single values option. I am using two different variables for these purposes and everything is correct with the query designer query. I am able to see the variable in the template,but I am not able to choose the interval values (only the intervals ,single value is ok)
