Regarding orientation of the screen

While changing the orientation of my ipad, its not changing the screen orientation.
And when m pressing the orientation lock key to ON, first the screen changes its orientation for 1 second and then again return to the previous orientation.
Also after holding the ipad in one orientation that too for many seconds or you can say minutes, screen is not changing its orientation. And yes the orientation button is Off.

But m asking something else. Why after pressing orientation lock key to ON, screen is rotating to other side and then again returning to the same side. I guess this should not happen.
And why after rotating my ipad to some other direction, ipad is not changing its screen orientation when its orientation key is set to Off.
I hope now you get my point.

TS3274 This is about screen orientation. The screen switches from vertical to horizontal by itself and no matter how I move the screen it doesn't work correctly. Very frustrating and don't know what to do.

My client requirement In BDCs, after recording the legacy data by using MM01, After some time adding one field to the screen, How can we record the for the new field.
If any one knows pls help me total process.

Identify the screen in which this new field is added and simply add one more line to add the bdc record for this field in that screen.
If the screen is also entirely new, then you have to identify the previous screen, the okcode to go to this new screen and finally the next screen and the okcode to go to the next screen along with the field BDC record.
I don't think it is necessary to redo all the recording as long as you can follow the existing code.

How to Pre fill the screen XD01/XD02, from the report program

I have a requirment where i have to pass the screen values for the genral view of the tcode XD01/XD02,
For example : In my report program i get the Name, City, Country, PIN etc.. now my requirement is that the First Screen(Genral view) of the XD01 is pre filled with all the values that are passed from the Program and the user can continue after that.
Please suggest a way to achieve the mentioned functionality .

But the screen fields that i have to fill don't have parameter id's ..and i dont want to open the object by access key.
also my requirement is to leave to the transaction with the filled screen field .from the report prog...so when i use BDC i get the OK code , that i want to avoid.

Settings/Control Center. There are two options which are pretty self-explanitory...one enables/disables access on the Lock Screen and one enables/disables access within apps/games.

REGARDING READING THE SCREEN CONTENTS IN ALV GRID

i have to transfer contents from one grid display to another grid.
internal table has :
internal- table name: itab
chkbx
v_lights
matnr
maktx
dline(longtext of the material)
alv grid is having following contents:
1. chkbx which will get the user command.
2. v_lights to display the different colors of light according to the contents of the longtext which i am fetching using the read_text function.
3. matnr
4. maktx
5. longtext of the material.
after the display of the first grid display.
if user changes contents of the check box .. i have to read the screen and and modify my internal table(itab) so that i can fetch data from the internal table to another internal table which i can use for the next screen.
can anyone of you tell me how can i do this.
and some help contents so that i can understand the whole concept.

when u drag n drop some fields in the screen goto to one of the corners of dat fields drag to the extend u want to increase.
or in attributes section for u length n width of dat fields are available just increase to your wish.

If you see a lock icon in the upper right corner of the screen - then the screen orientation is locked.
Try the side switch above the volume rocker first and see if that unlocks the screen. If that doesn't do it, double tap the home button and swipe to the right and look for the lock icon all the way to the left.
If the screen is unlocked but still will not rotate, reset the iPad.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
