  • Regarding- Packing Line Item Not Displayed in the Delivery Document.

    Hi,
    I have 2 queries
    1) Have  created separate Material Type Packaging for my packing material and the item category group used is VERP, my Orginal Material is getting packed in the Delivery Document, however the packed item is not coming as a separate line item in the Delivery document, I have maintained the item category settings for the Delivery Packing Material and also the packing Material contains stock,
    2) The Plant and Storage Location for my handling unit need to get defaulted autmatically in the delivery document what settings should I configure for the same.

  • Regarding field VBUP-PKSTA (Packing status of an item)

    Helo All,
Can anybody tell me from where does the field PKSTA in table VBUP gets populated?
This is regarding packing status of item.
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks for your reply.
But when delivery is created, the field is populated from VBUP-PKSTA (Packing status).
My question is how entry is made in this table VBUP?
Is it when we create any master data or during any config?
    Thanks.

  • Packing output-

    Hi,
    Experts
During delivery mantained packing list through handling unit i can see what are the materials are packed in packing material like one box or pallet etc.but i need a printout of this like packing output so can you help me regarding packing output and how to mantain this tell step by step.
    thanks
    sunil

    Hi Sunil,
PL00 - is the Std SAP Output Type for Packing List, which gives details to be packed on cartons/Gunny bag/Pallets etc.
You can get this requirement through Output determination for the outbound deliveries.
You go to this IMG path do the configuration.
SPRO>Logistics execution>Shipping-->Basic shipping functions >Output control>Output determination -->Maintain output determination for outbound deliveries here you do steps.
    Maintain condition tables
Maintain output types (Standard is PL00)
    Maintain access sequences
Maintain output determination procedure (Standard V10000)
    Assign output determination procedures
After that maintain the condition record for that output condition type in VV21 transaction.
    Hope it helps!

  • Sales Handling unit enhancement

    Dear friends,
This is regarding packing handling units in delivery. I have a customized table which is having ready handling units with reference to sales order.
I have a requirement to pick these handling units from Ztable and attach to delivery when the user clicks PACK button in OBD, instead of selecting handling units one by one again.
Please suggest any appropriate user exits.

  • Best Practices - Distributing Dynamic VI's with LV2011

I'm distributing code which consists of a main program which calls existing (and future) vi's dynamically, but one at a time. The dynamically called vi's do not have input or output terminals. They run, one at a time, in a sub-panel in the main program. The main program needs to maintain a reference to the dynamically loaded vi so it can be sure the dyn. loaded vi has fully stopped before unloading calling a replacement vi. These vi's do not used Shared Variables or Globals, but may have a few vi's in common with the main program (it would be OK to duplicate these vi's in the release).
With that background, what are the best practices these days for releasing dynamically loaded vi's (and their dependents)?
If I use a Project Library (.lvlib), it would seem that I need to first build a .exe containing the top-level vi's (the one's to be dynamically loaded), so that a separate .lvlib can be generated which includes their dependencies. The contents of this .lvlib and a .lvlib containing the top-level vi's can then be merged to create a single .lvlib, and then a packed library can be generated for distribution with the main .exe.
This seems way too involved (but necessary?)
My goal is to simply have a .exe for the main program, and some other structure containing the dynamically called vi's and their dependents. This seemed so straighforward when a .exe was really a .llb a few years ago
Thanks in advance for your feedback.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

A great source of information I've found since posting is here:
    http://zone.ni.com/devzone/cda/pub/p/id/1261
regarding packed libraries. Bottom line - they automatically include dependencies to the top-level dynamically linked vi's placed in a .lvlib from which the .lvlibp is built..
I cannot seem to find an example of dynamically calling a vi within a packed library. If I use the old .exe as llb method, I get an Error 7.

  • Status Group - Incompleteness procedure

    Hi,
    What is Incomplete Procedure and
what are all the Ticks that is given in
    General
    Delivery
    Billing ... etc.,
    will do .
    Regards,
    Kannan M

    General (Generally Incomplete):
    · This control, records certain information about the fields at header level. Ex.: PO
    number is not maintained.
    · Indicates whether the system records a status message about general information
in the header and item status screens of a sales document.
    · If you mark this status for a particular status group, the system determines the
status of general information by checking the status of fields that are assigned to
the status group in the relevant incompletion procedure. If some or all of the fields
are missing information, the status message says that the general information is,
    respectively, partially incomplete or incomplete.
    · In a sales order, for example, general information can include the customer's
purchase order number or the document date. If information is missing from
either field, the sales document is considered incomplete for further processing
and the system records an appropriate status message.
    Delivery (Incomplete for Delivery):
    · This control, records certain information about the fields. Ex.: Shipping points at
item level and issues appropriate message on the status bar.
    · Indicates whether the system records a status message about delivery information
in the header and item status screens of a sales document.
    · If you mark this status for a particular status group, the system determines the
status of delivery information by checking the status of fields that are assigned to
the status group in the relevant incompletion procedure. If some or all of the fields
are missing information, the status message says that the delivery information is,
    respectively, partially incomplete or incomplete.
    · In delivery processing the depending system function is: saving the delivery
    document.
    · You can specify, for example, that item data in a sales order is incomplete and
cannot be processed for delivery without information about a shipping point. If,
during sales order processing, the shipping point is missing, the system records an
    appropriate status message.
    · This status is valid in sales document processing as in delivery processing.
    Billing document (Incomplete for Billing):
    · This control records appropriate status message if certain billing information is
    missing. Ex.: payment terms.
    · Indicates whether the system records a status message about billing information in
the header and item status screens of a sales document.
    · If you mark this status for a particular status group, the system determines the
status of billing information by checking the status of fields that are assigned to
the status group in the relevant incompletion procedure. If some or all of the fields
are missing information, the status message says that the billing information is,
    respectively, partially incomplete or incomplete.
    · You can specify, for example, that item data in a sales order is incomplete for
billing without terms of payment information. If, during sales order processing,
the terms of payment are missing, the system records an appropriate status
    message.
    · This status is valid for sales and shipping processing.
Price (Incomplete with reference to pricing):
    · This control records appropriate information if data at item level has been missed.
    Ex.: price.
    · Indicates whether the system records a status message about pricing information in
the header and item status screens of a sales document.
    · If you mark this status for a particular status group, the system determines the status
of pricing information by checking the status of fields that are assigned to the status
group in the relevant incompletion procedure. If some or all of the fields are missing
information, the status message says that the pricing information is, respectively,
    partially incomplete or incomplete.
    · You can specify, for example, that an item in a credit or debit memo request is
incomplete if pricing has not been carried out. If you try to process the credit or debit
memo request without pricing information, the system records an appropriate status
    message.
Goods Movement (Incomplete for Goods Movement):
    · This control records appropriate message if certain information is missed at
schedule line level. Ex.: Movement types and Issued appropriate status message.
    · Specifies whether the system will issue a message on the status of the goods
movement data on the header or item status screen of a sales document.
    · If you have transferred the goods issue status into a specific status group by
selecting it, the system will determine the status of the goods movement data by
checking the fields that have been assigned to that status group in the
incompletion procedure. If data is missing in one or several of these fields, the
status message will indicate that the goods movement data is fully or partially
    incomplete.
    · For example, you can specify that the item data of a delivery is incomplete for
goods issue if the quantity picked is missing. If the quantity picked is not
specified during delivery processing, the system will issue a corresponding status
    message.
    · This status valid only for shipping documents.
Picking / Put away (Incomplete for Picking / Put away):
    · This control records appropriate status message if certain information is missed.
    Ex.: Picking.
    · Specifies whether the system will issue a picking data status message on the
header or item status screen of a sales document.
    · If you have transferred the picking status into a specific status group by selecting
it, the system will determine the picking data status by checking the fields that
have been assigned to that status group in the incompletion procedure. If data is
missing in one or several of these fields, the status message will indicate that the
document data is fully or partially incomplete.
    · For example, you can specify that the item data of a delivery is incomplete for
picking if the serial numbers have not been assigned, although this is required by
the serial number profile. If the serial numbers are required but have not been
specified during delivery processing, the system will issue a corresponding status
    message.
    · This status is only valid for shipping documents.
    Pack (Incomplete for packing):
    · This control, records appropriate status message if certain information regarding
    packing is missed.
    · Specifies whether the system will issue a packing data status message on the
header or item status screen of a sales document.
    · If you have transferred the packing status into a specific status group by selecting
it, the system will determine the packing data status by checking the fields that
have been assigned to that status group in the incompletion procedure. If data is
missing in one or several of these fields, the status message will indicate that the
packing data is fully or partially incomplete.
    · For example, you can specify that the item data of a delivery is incomplete for
packing if the external delivery identification is missing. If the external delivery
identification has not been specified during delivery processing, the system will
    issue a corresponding status message.
    · This status is only valid for shipping documents.

  • A question regarding Management pack dependency.

    Hi All,
I am new to SCOM, I have a question regarding management pack dependency.
My question is, Is Dependency is required when New alerts are created in a unsealed MP and the object class selected during alert creation is (i.e Windows server 2012 full operating system) and it is on a Sealed management pack ?
For example i have a Sealed Windows server 2012 monitoring management pack.
I have made a custom one, for windows server 2012, So if it the custom is not dependent on the sealed Windows server 2012 monitoring management pack, Then cant i create any alerts in the custom management pack targeting the class Windows server
    2012 full operating system ?

    Hi CyrAz,
Thank you for the reply. Now if your's and my understanding is the same, Then look at the below what happened.
I created a Alert monitor targeting a Windows Server 2012 class in my custom management pack which
is not dependent on the Windows server 2012 management pack, But how was i successfully able to create them when the dependency is not there at all, If our understanding is same, then there must be an Error thrown while creating the monitor its self right
? But how was SCOM able to create that ?
    Look at the below screenshot.
I was able to create a monitor targeting Windows server 2012 Full operating system and create a alert on the custom management pack which is not at all dependent
on the Windows server 2012 Sealed MP.
Look at the dependency of the management pack where i do not have the Windows server 2012 management as my custom management is not dependent on that.
Then how come this is possible ?

  • Need info regarding disk packs

    Greetings.
There is a need to maintain different dev/production configurations (for different
customers or different software releases) on the same Sun system (for
example T5120/T5220 or similar) and have the ability to switch to a
particular configuration. I came to know that there is something
called "disk packs" available from Sun which is cluster of disks and
we can selectively deploy multiple OS/Configs in one of more disks
and activate the desired configuration whenever there is a need.
Would you be please able to provide if you have any information in
this regard or suggest us what solution would work best for this usecase.
    Thanks
    Anand

ACLs, like Accounts, are optional security setting which may add on some extra functionality to mandatory security groups. Likewise, the resulting permission is taken as an intersection of SG and ACLs.
But in the second part the number of set of users is huge (approx say 600)I don't get this completely. Does this mean that those "sets of users" (users who see the same data) are distinct and that there is 600 of such groups?
If you read thoroughly the manual I sent earlier, there is a recommendation that there should be maximum 50 security groups, and you should use accounts, should this number be exceeded. This means you could have all the documents in one security group (and have one common role with Read permission), but combine it with accounts. ACLs are not a good choice here - their performance and manageability is much worse than of accounts. ACLs are primarily used if you expect security settings to change during the lifetime (e.g. a project manager adds temporarily rights to access an item to another user, and revokes it when the user finishes his or her work).
Note that accounts as well as permissions of users within accounts can also be mapped externally (from LDAP/AD) and it usually follows some kind of org chart.
I'd feel more comfortable not to speak about users, security groups, roles, etc., but about some real-life objects and scenarios.

  • Regarding Service Pack installation

    Hi Guys,
Excuse my ignorance on the subject but could any of you tell me if the installation of a service pack is client dependent?
Let's say that I have a DEV, a QAS and a PRD clients.... can I install a service pack in DEV first and then move the changes to the following systems?
    Many thanks,

    Hi,
When SPs are applied in one instance or system, It is available in all clients of that instance.
SPs have to be applied in all the systems in the landscape.
    Hope this helps you.

  • Question regarding SAP ECC Server Value Pack successor

    Hello,
currently one of our ERP 6.0 systems is scheduled for an EHP4 upgrade. So we used the SolMan to determine which technical usages are available for the system.
The SolMan presents teh SAP ECC Server Value Pack successor as a possible technical usages which could be implemented during this update. Now our customer does not know what this technical usage could be good for. I already searched within the help.sap.com area for ERP 6.0 but I was not able to dig up any information regarding this technical usage.
Can somebody tell me what they are good for or where to look for specific information?

I have been using A.Pack for ever to encode my audio aif file to AC3 and now I got an error message taht says.... the file cannot be used becasue of an OS Error of type -50 occured.
What does it mean and what can i do to fix it? I am using my 733 powermac

    A long shot ....
Is the input file over 2GB in size?? I seem to recall that A.Pack can't handle big files - and you have to break them up into smaller chunks.
