Regarding Scheduling issue

Dear All
I have one issue regarding Scheduling
1.we have one FG, one SEMI FINISHED material and one RAW material.
2.The In house production days for FG is One day. if demand is given on may 15th,the schedule date for FG is 14th may,upto here it is clear.
3.SEMI FINSHED material is produced by vendor i.e. SUB COTRACTING process. The planned delivery time is two days. the requirement is on 14th may ,so the release date should be on 12th may and delivery date should be 14th may. am I correct?
4.DEMAND is given on 15th may, run the MRP, Planned order is generated for FG and SF. The Schedule start date for FG is 14th may, it is correct.
5.The issue is for purchase requisition, the release date on 13th and delivery date on 15th may, because of this total scheduling going wrong.
Pl give the solution for this issue so that system will give proper release date and delivery date.
If any configuration s thr or not?

Hi
For this you need to have schedule margin key with flot before process should be one day. Then your requirement will work. So config a scheduling margin key and enter it in Material master of finished and Semifinished materials.

Regarding Scheduling Agreement

Hi Gurus,
We have the following issue regarding Scheduling Agreement.
WE have a Finished part for which we maintain Scheduling Agreement. The BOM of the Fert contains Packaging Raw's and one semi-finished part. The client's requirement is when we create a scheduling agreement for FERT, they don't want the packaging components to show up in the agreement coz these are supplied by the vendor except the Semi-Finished part, which will be supplied by the client.
I put the indicator Vendor Supplied Item for packaging components in the BOM.
It works really well in QA, but for the same part it's blowing everything in scheduling agreemnt in DV.
I really did't understand, why ? Are there any other settings i am missing?
It's really kind of urgent req.
if anybody can give some hints or settings i have to make, it's really helpful,

This issue was resolved, it's mainly due to revision levels attached to the BOM in DV.

in Schedule line i have two line

Line 1 16.08.2011                1                                       0
Line 2 21.09.2011                0                                      1
Suppose we have created oreder on 16 th Aug so lschedule line 1 is triggerd on 16th Aug and other scedule line triggred on 21.09.2011 with confirm qty.
One Batch job run and update only line 1 like mat avalaiblity date, transpotration date, delivery date etc but not line 2. why ?
I have created PR on 21.08.2011 and Po on 26.08.2011 and material available in plant 5.09.2011 so why this batch job has not change the line2 and date for confirm qty. But it has not changed line 2. Why?
I have checked PR change log and found that item del date chaged from 21.09.2011 to .7.09.2011 but it is not chaged for line 2. Could you please tell me whre is the problem cone across?

REgarding licensing issues involvng 'Computername' and the use of UpperCase4 vs Lowercase Letters

Does any one know if it would cause problems for the Office 365 software license to be displayed as licensed to an ALL CAPS name like 'MY-FAVORITE-PC' but the computer itself shows the computer name to be 'my-favorite-pc"?
If it does, which one should I change? A couple of people here have had this same problem (which usually occurs when they change to using a different PC for their account) I have to Deactivate their Old PC namer and then install the licnse to
their New OC using whatever name it has.
On more than one system, this has resulted in various odd "failure to contact Microsoft server" issues when activating. The problem continues for 7 days and then their copy of Office starts showing reed warning bards and eventually gets totally
unusable.
However, if I uninstall the office, deactivate the license, and reinstall it once again, it install just fine and acts ok but invariably at some point, the same thing occurs.
On one of them I noticed the difference in the case of the letters used in the computer name and the license name. On others I am wondering about various software add ins for Outlook or some other 3rd part application causing the problem. Whatever
it is, it gets extremely annoying. Officer 365 apparently must run an activation sequence almost constantly while Office 2010 (and I presume 2013) ran it once and were done with it.
Searching Google I have found too many possible reasons along with a lot of people who have had the same problems but no one seems to have the 100% solution. This has only started happening since we switched to Office 365 and only
seems to occur on systems that are changed out to different ones with the same User's 365 Account which is in good standing and has 5 available licenses of which only one is in use.
In the case of the caps vs lowercase I also wonder if changing the name to CAPS on their PC would create additional problems on its own?

Issue inMaintenace scheduling issue in Two plants with similar data set up

Hi PM Gurus
Scenario: A) We Have two maintenance Plants which have got Factory calendar assignment as per Table Data. We need to change Non Working days of factory Calenders (D1 and T2) for work centres working and do Maintenace scheduling
Issue    A) Plant PL0B has got factory Calender T2 set up at work centre (WCT2) .We get Maintenace schedule Calls as per Calender set up ie No Maintenace Call (Planned call and Call date) on (Non Working Days). Here we change public holidays to working days and this throw schedule calls accordingly (thatu2019s Maintence Calls on working days only).
B)     We have similar requirement to change public holidays for Calender D1 which is assigned to Work centre WCD1, then we must get maintenance calls for working days. But we find that for Plant PL0A, Maintenace Calls are generating even on non working days. Only difference between Plant PL0A and PL0B is for Work centre set up as per screen shots for Capacity data.
C)     We have changed work centre data of WCD1 as per WCT2 ,but still PL0A is giving maintenance Calls on Non Working days (Not Controlled by Calender data of Work Centre )
D)     Info: Scheduling indicator in Maintenace plans of both plants is TIME

Greetings Upinder,
You should set the Scheduling indicator to "Time - factory calendar" and select a Factory Calendar if you want the Maintenance plan to be scheduled according to one of the calendars you set up.
The work centre capacity scheduling doesn't come into place here, yet - it'll allow for rescheduling once the orders are called.

Regarding Consignment Issue

Hi Friends,
I have a question regarding consignment issue. During the consignment fill up I have entered a material (machine) that is configurable and also assigned a serial number to it. Now when I try to create an order (consignment issue) and enter the corresponding serial number tied up to the machine in Consignment fillup, the system is taking just the higher level item of the BOM. The BOM is not getting exploded in the order. Can anyone please suggest where I can control. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I don't think it will b exploded in Consignment Issue as it has already exploded in Consignment fill up. Consignment issue means what selling the stock which is at consignee's place so it dose not have to b exploded. u carr on like that and see what is the flow if it is ok then go on otherwise u let me know the problem.

Regarding Performance Issue in MI Application

Hii All,
We have made a SmartSync MI Application.Everything thing is working fine.But the scenario is this that when we try to navigate through the application from one page to another ,for example if i click on one link to get details corresponding to that link(i.e) we are retreiving the data from the local database, but this is taking a lot of time and according to our buisness need we have to reduce this time to fetch the data.
Can anyone help me regarding this issue what can be done either in coding part, what parameters & standards to follow to improve the performance.

if you are only focusing on your application's performance
on the aspect of usability i.e. less waiting time, fast
response UI, i would personally suggest you to use AJAX.
put some processing part on the browser side and making
data retrieval from MI asynchronous... this way, your user
don't have to wait for all data to be presented, but rather
could work on the data presented in pieces (i.e. asynchronously).

I think there is no one solution to buffer pool issue. Buffer pool issue happens due to many reasons like how you design the data flow, requirement of push down or even insufficient memory in the running environment.
You can check by checking 'collect statistics for optimization' during running the job. Also in the data flow, try changing from pageable cache to memory cache by right clicking and selecting properties. The below link give some details on caching, might be helpful.

Webi Report scheduling issue

Dear Experts,
I have webi reports which are running fine when i refresh the query from query panel. When i am scheduling the report it is failing.
My webi reports are connected to the Bex Queries using OLAP Connections which is working fine for other reports.
I am getting the following error message
"Can not connect to the source olap com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (103) JCO_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Access key access is no longer possible"
Because of this BW Credentials are getting locked and user cannot able to access the BW System.
Kindly help us getting this issue solved.

Try this...
Logon to Central Management Console (CMC) with an Administrator user.
Click on OLAP Connections.
Right click on the connection and click User Security.
Assign Full Control to the User on the connection.

[BO 4.0] Webi scheduling issue

We are using Business Objects 4.0. i have a webi report that uses SAP BW as source. We are using DF to create universes for these webi report. In DF Admin tool, we have manually mapped the RFC connection to programID field. While scheduling this webi report, scheduling fails with the following reason,
Database error: [Data Federator Driver] [Server] [Connector 'RC_SalesAw'] Connection failure: com.sap.conn.jco.JCoException: (103) RFC_ERROR_LOGON_FAILURE: Password logon no longer possible - too many failed attempts on 172.16.8.135 sysnr 01. (IES 10901)
Note that we are providing the corrrect user name / password for these users.
Please provide your inputs on this issue.

despite your assurances, it clearly indicates that the logon string provided for the relational BW connection is not authenticating correctly..
Whilst your BO logon may be correct, i would encourage you to check all the credentials used elsewhere in this connectivity
Does this same universe refresh correctly when running webi in ad-hoc mode? i.e. not scheduling?
If Yes - i'd recommend you log a Support message.

My client is using the STO scenario with in same company code with different plants like after creating purchase order they will create sales order and delivery and billing and now during delivery we are geting error like NO SCHEDULE LINES DUE FOR DELIVERY and i checked in sales order by va02 in availability check the confirmed quantity is coming zero but stock is showing 200 for that particular material can any one help me pleaase
This is an urgent issue.............

Hi sunil,
You can follow as Lakshmipathi suggested, also once you have checked in MD04, you can go to CO06 and unassign the confirmed stock of some other Order/Delivery if any existing in MD04 and you have to do availability check again for current sales order line item.
However I still have a doubt like why you are creating sales order after creating Purchase order, How will the receiving plant take goods receipt (On what reference ??), You can process STOs from T-Code VL10B, which will automatically create a delivery (If Configuration is set).

Scheduling issue

Hi Experts ,
I am experience one issue as explained below. your expert advice would help a lot.
We have a bom with one finished product and a semifinished product. I have created a planned order for finished productin in repetitive planning board mf50 and when i convert into processs order, the order start times are according to shift sequence start times (i.e 6.00 a.m).
Now when I have run MPS single item and multi level planned order is created for semifinished product. When I convert this planned order for semifinished product into process order the order start times are always at midnight (00:00), whereas even in case of semifinished product also same shift sequence is considered in workcenter. The operation times for both finished and semifinished product are less than 1 day for the order quantity.
I have configured in scheduling parameters for planned and process orders for scheduling as "Adjust basic dates of depedent requirements to order start dates), forward scheduling (OPU5 & OPUZ). This is same setting i have maintained for repetitive planning scheduling parameters also.
If semifinished product is also directly planned in mf50 and the planned order thus created is converted to process order then it starts at shift sequene time i.e 06.00 as defined.
Why does the semifinished product doesn't start at the shift start time? How can I make that semifinished product to also start at shift start time when planned orders is converted to process order.

Hi,
Have you checked the work centers for semifinished material please recheck the work center capacity view and capacity header.
Kindly check the capacity which u maintained and its group for shift sequence.
If there is no group of sequece in capacity header then update it and schedule the order it will show u the details of start dates as per the schedule.
