Regarding subtotal of cross tab report

hi
i am fetching data in my back end in this way --->
header heder
col1,col2,col3 col1,col2,col3
now header has three value header1,header2,header3.
means i have two data setwith same column.
now in crystal in crosstab i palced this header in column.
therefore three subtotal for each header is created with corresponding col1,col2,col3 values.
Now my problem is i want only one subtotal column .How i can suppress the other two subtotal column.
Hope i make u understand to this forum's gurus.

my crystal version is 9.2 and me using oracle 10g r2

I have attached a sample report that does this. You will need to remove the .txt extension from the attached file to open it as an .rpt file.
Please right click on one of the value fields of the first cross tab in the report > Format Field > Common > Suppress if Duplicated conditional formula.
The nested formula is as follows;
numbervar array l;
numbervar array u;
numbervar x:=CurrentColumnIndex;
if GridRowColumnValue ('@limit') = 'lower limit' then
(redim preserve l[x];
l[x]:= tonumber(CurrentFieldValue))
else if GridRowColumnValue ('@limit') = 'upper limit' then
(redim preserve u[x];
u[x]:= tonumber(CurrentFieldValue));

So it assigns each lower and upper limit value for each client (in the sample it is country) to an array using the cross tabs column index to index the array and it ends in False as we don't actually want it to suppress if duplicated. This nested formula is just used to generate the arrays of upper and lower values.
In the second cross tab if you again right click on one of the value fields > Format Field > Font > Color you will see the following conditional formula;
numbervar array l;
numbervar array u;
numbervar x;
if not(tonumber(CurrentFieldValue) in l[CurrentColumnIndex] to u[CurrentColumnIndex]) then
crred
else
crblack
So this compaes the current field value to range generated by the 2 arrays and assigns a color based on whether or not it is in the range.

How to Add new column in cross tab reports
I am using crystal reports 10
I created cross tab report for monthly sales. I need to add one more column in that report
ex:
Month Customer Part1 Part2 Part3
Jan A 10 12 15
Jan B 20 0 10
Jan C 0 3 5

Feb D 55 23 33
In above data Parts are no limit, thatswhy i am taking cross tab report.
I am taking Month and Customer name as Rows,
Part Codes as Colums,
Quantiry as Total fields in cross tab Report.
Here month field is storing as Transaction date in database, I am calculating by month
I am getting upto this.
User needs add one more field is Invoice no

If i use new crosstab for Invoice no each invoice number can display like seperate columns.
But I need Invoice no in single column with seperate with "," or "/".

Problem in Cross Tab Report in crytsal report
Dear members,
I have designed and generated a cross tab report with fields being percentage,country,amounts. i have obtained the sum of row level.But i need to obtain the sum of amounts in each region wise. I need the report as shown below. I have tried the running total field in cross tab as sum but its showing the overall total.
Month PO Ger EurTot.USA Canada NATot
5% 10 20 30 15 25 40
But i am getting the report as like this.
Month TOTAL PO GER USA CAN INDIA
10% 150 15 30 15 45 45.
Can anyone please help me in this regard?

cross tab is a diagonal report , u have to make query in such a way so that it returns the all field in row and columns way i.e in diagonal form .
U have to fetch total in same manner

Restricting data in cross tab report

I am creating a cross tab report.In that I want to restrict the column dynamically.The column depends upon the parameter field.
say for example if i enter the parameter as 2007,it should display field from 2004-2007 only rather than displaying all years.

You can use a formula. e.g
< Basic format>
Select case year({Command.tradeDate})
case 2005 to 2007
formula = 1
Case else
formula = 0
end select
Then on the crosstab column group options, choose "specified order" and on the "Other" tab choose "Discard all others"

I'm creating a report in Crystal 2008 for SAP Business One. This report is a sales report and i want to pull the data from three tables namely Invoice Rows, Credit Memo Rows and Down Payment Invoice Rows. Other selections in the report include the Posting Periods table, Items Group Table and the Items Master Data table.
I'm considering a cross tab report displaying the Items Group on the Row level and the Posting Periods on the columns with Sum of row totals for item groups per items on invoice,credit memo or down payment.
I need help regarding the kind of joining is needed to ensure that i get a correct and good report showing total sales made for item groups per period. Thus, total sales = Invoice+Downpayment - Credit Memo

JohnYou can also user OJDT as the base and left join it to the Invoice, Credit note and Downpayment tables by linking DocEntry and the object tpye.
With this option, you need to use IF statement to read information based on object type.
Using command as suggested is simpler. However, my preference is to use command alone.
Linking Command with Tables seems to have slower performance. -
Discover group problem with cross tab report
Hi, I'm working on a cross tab report in discoverer 4i and I'm having a problem with two of the colums. I'm doing a count on one field but because they are called something different they are being shown as two seperate columns rather than 1.
I have one called 101 -AVG and another called 101-AVG. My condition pulls every result back that starts with 101 in the table. So because in the table the values are different it breaks the count into totals for 101 -AVG and 101-AVG.
Is there some way I can group these results together into one field?

Total is not matching in Cross Tab Report

What is the 'Summary' type you've chosen for the Summarized fields?
If it's Min or Max, the Row totals would also show Min/Max of all the columns for that row.

Page headers in cross tab report
Hi,
I have created addon in SAP B1 2007A PL 46. This includes crystal reports that use .net crystal runtimes.
One of the reports is crosstab report.
It is required that each result page of report display a header. When I set it in page header section, it comes up only on the last page.
Text in Report header comes up on the first page.
This cross tab report spans multiple pages horizontally.
Can anybody help me in this.

Trupti MahurkarThe page header in this multi page report would be acrossing all pages. You may edit it to across the whole range to duplicate the first page header manually. You may set up Preview Start Pages Start with - Fit Page under report option to set them up.

I created a cross tab report, i am using total in all summarized filed but i need to divide my total values into sub group wise in total filed.
like total product 3000
Sales 1000
Net profit 700
but its totaling as 4700, but i need to do as different group wise totals,The values showing in each group is itself sub group total and the grand total will be the sum of all these totals. Pleas let me know what exactly the output you are expecting?

I have a cross tab report with a row for loan type and another row for Investor Name. The columns are for loan disbursements by month. The summaries are for the loan count for loan type, loan count as a % of loan type, sum of loan amount for loan type and sum of loan amount as a % of loan type. The monthly numbers and % are correct, as well as the final column for the totals.
The total number of loans and total sum of the loan amounts in the total row at the end of each loan type are also correct, but I want the % of loan count and % of loan amount in this row to be based on the total count of all loans on the report, not just the % of the loans in that particular loan type.
Can someone tell me how to modify the % count summary and % sum summary just on the total row printing for the loan type?Hi Diann,

and write the formula like
