In Bex analizer, open the query in modify mode, than choose properties and you will find creation date.

The database i'm using (mvdemo - mapviewer demo DB that comes along with Oracle 10g), has only data about united states. Say if i have my query window like this, -180, 0, 180 , 90 (which is the upper half of the earth), i am getting the desired result. ie., Here is that query,

SDO_FILTER(s.geom,
SDO_GEOMETRY(
     2003,
     8265,
     NULL,
     SDO_ELEM_INFO_ARRAY(1,1003,3),

Returns 55
I'm currently having a problem with my rectangular window query. When i query with a window value of -180, -90, 180, 90 (which covers the whole earth), the number of spatial objects (SDO_GEOM) that is returned is 0. It is not throwing any ORA error. But the expected result is as usual 55.

hi all,
i found the solution to my problem.
actually the query given here works just fine.
wat i was doing was using the sdo_intersection(<some geom>, <query window>). The query window am using here is the whole earth. But according to spatial rule, there cant be any geometry greater than half the surface of the earth.

I am facing an issue here,in Answers I am dragging few measures from single fact and some dimension cols but the thing is 2 queries are being generated by BI Server and later there is an Inner join happening....I dont want this to happen...I want it as a single query so that all the data would be retained....Thanks in advance

you must clear some things by reading....
**can we have a fact (single logical source table) joined to a dimension at different levels like day and month
you must join to the lowest level in order to be able to take all the possible values....(according you said that you have only 1 Datasource)
Is there a meaning of joing both??for what???
I suspect that you mean that in some cases the query must go in level of day and in others in level of month..
For this you must assign to the logical fact the appropriate 'Datasources',simpe tables which in
1.have the values in day level
2.have the values in month level
These tables Bi called(and generally) aggregate one..
Then you have to set in each Datasource the appropriate level .....
If you use (not recommended from me) , the aggregation wizard ..will show you how....

SELECT (T0.OnHand-T0.IsCommited) FROM OITW T0 WHERE T0.ItemCode = $[$5.1.0] and T0.WhsCode = $[$28.1.0]
I have a document downloaded from SAP site. This query works fine when i hard code the value in place of $[$5.1.0] and $[$28.1.0]
Could you please inform me at the earliest what does this mean.. $[$28.1.0] ? What i believe is its (item number. column number. line number) but it is giving syntax error for the $ sign. Awaiting your valuable information.

Your queries are ok. I suppose you are trying to store the value in a user-defined field on header level (that was the only way I could reproduce your problem)? In that case, you need to add a minus sign before the item index:
SELECT (T0.OnHand-T0.IsCommited) FROM OITW T0 WHERE T0.ItemCode = $[$-5.1.0] and T0.WhsCode = $[$-28.1.0]

Query about Frame maker 11

Hi All
This is regarding a query about Frame maker 11.
I have seen the in the FDK guide of FM 11 which states that "To compile FDK clients for Windows, you must use Microsoft Visual Studio 2010."
So do we need a separate installation of Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 in order to develop/compile FDK clients apart from FM11 installation or is its a part of FM11 software?
could you please any one can clarify on this .

If you would like help from here, you'll have to say what the problem is. "Unable to use" and "not getting proper guidelines... regarding the query" tells nothing about your problem other than your phone isn't working.
Also, judging by your other post where you are looking for an alternative to the iPhone, do you want a non-Apple phone or do you want your problem fixed. No sense having people waste their time helping you fix this one if are going to get another phone.

Is the Query Builder (QuB) fatally flawed? Or I, perhaps?

I have noticed at lot of issues on both the general and php discussion forums regarding the Query Builder. I just completed the contacts management system tutorial and everything worked fine until the last step which involved using the QuB. Has anyone else got this to work consistently?...

ADDT in a nutshell?...
ADDT´s Query Builder is loaded in a browser, which - unlike a standard Windows/Mac/whatever application - has a completely different "memory management", and if you´re loading heaps of data (e.g. SQL results) in a browser, it can get real slow due to that.
Any real "application" is by nature superior to the Query Builder, but it´s like comparing apples with pizza, as the "runtime environment" is a totally different one.

If you really need help then earn it. Make an attempt to write the query you need the post it and the (partial) results you get. Explain what else you need or what you are getting that you do not want. Report conversion tool--Can we modify the query

I have some freehand SQL reports converted into WebI reports. I understand that report conversion tool, creates a new universe for each of the freehand SQL report. But if I try to edit the query, like add a filter condition, an error pops out.
Is it possible to edit the query if we convert freehand sql reports into webi reports?

Yes it is possible to edit the query for the converted free hand sql query.
If you see any problem while editing the SQL of the converted report, do a refresh once and try.
Adding query filter also works fine.
Issue from your end could also be due to security settings.i advise to revisit the security once and make sure all appropriate rights are available for the user.

This is a user to user Forum, so you are not really addressing Adobe here, even though some Adobe employees thankfully have been dropping by.

Concluding something does not work because you fail at using it is not necessarily always justified.
The Quick Selection Tool certainly has limitations, but your post seems to be more about venting than trouble-shooting – otherwise you might have posted an image where you failed to get an expected result.

Since quantity of 3 is rejected and need to be kept aside you are blocking the stock, the purchase person will send back this material to vendor directly from block stock (MBRL or MIGO). This is best practice.
There can be other situation that your vendor came to your place and done rework om that 3 blocked items and you are satisfied with the quality then you can use respective movement for transferring from block to unrestricted, if you want lot to be generated then assign 08 insp type and do inspection.

I have a query about the u201CUser Decisionu201D, Suppose I have received the 10 quantity and lot get created for 10. At time of UD (QA11) I put 7 quantities in unrestricted and 3 in blocked stock .what we generally use to do with that block stock? Whether we again transfer it to quality stock (Movement 349)? Or move directly to unrestricted (movement: 343).
I tried to move the blocked stock in u201Cquality stocku201D in transaction MB1B with movement 349 but it had given error u201CChange the inspection stock of material 9112223334A in QM onlyu201D. In QM how to transfer the blocked stock in quality stock?

Using the "Query Repository" tool

We are using 10.1.3.4
We have a requirement to list all presentation columns in use for a particular physical column.
Although this is straightforward, it gets quite hairy when a large number of aliases exist for a table. In particular this is true for BI Apps users. For example the employee dimension (W_EMPLOYEE_D) has about 25 aliases.
This means right clicking each column of each alias and doing "display related" 25 times.
I found an faster solution using the filter dialog box and constructing a complex filter.
It wasn't trivial at first but I got it to work:
I have 2 item lines. the first item is "related to" and the first value is a physical table (not using "select object..." but rather "Set condition for physical table..." and in the sub query the item is "name", the operator is "contains" and the value is the base table (the part of the name that is common in all aliases).
Then in the second line I basically did the same thing for column ("Set condition for physical column") also using the contains operator.
Surprisingly, it worked and I only had to invoke the query tool once! But I'd still like to know if there is an easier way.

If i got your question right......Instead of going through query repositoryoption,you can go to RPD in that Tools/Utilities/Repository Documentation and execute then save that in excel file.So for each presentation column you get the physical column with their alias names.Easy one step process.

      LSMW Step by Step Guide: Legacy System Migration Workbench is an R/3 Based tool for data transfer from legacy to R/3 for one time or periodic transfer.
Basic technique is Import data from Spreadsheet / Sequential file, convert from source format to target format and import into R/3 database. LSMW not part of standard R/3, if we need this product email [email protected]

Project documentation displays any documentation maintained for individual pop ups and processing steps
User Guide: Clicking on Enter leads to interactive user guide which displays the Project name, sub project name and object to be created.
Object type and import techniques:
Standard Batch / Direct input.
Batch Input Recording
      o If no standard programs available
      o To reduce number of target fields.
      o Only for fixed screen sequence.
    BAPI
    IDOC
      o Settings and preparations needed for each project
Preparations for IDOC inbound processing:
    Choose settings -> IDOC inbound processing in LSMW
    Set up File port for file transfer, create port using WE21.

    Fields can be maintained individually or in table form or copy from other sources using upload from a text file
    Maintain relationship between source and target structures.

    Standard Batch input or Recording
      o Generate Batch input session

      o Direct input program or direct input transaction is called
BAPI / IDOC Technique:
    IDOC creation
      o Information packages from the converted data are stored on R/3 Database.
      o system assigns a number to every IDOC.
      o The file of converted data is deleted.

      o IDOCS created are posted to the corresponding application program.
      o Application program checks data and posts in the application database.
Finally Transport LSMW Projects:
    R/3 Transport system
      o Extras ->Create change request
      o Change request can be exported/imported using CTS
    Export Project
      o Select / Deselect part / entire project & export to another R/3 system
    Import Project
      o Exported mapping / rules can be imported through PC file
      o Existing Project data gets overwritten
      o Prevent overwriting by using
    Import under different name
    Presetting for Inbound IDOC processing not transportable.
